3841  Other / Meta / Re: Signature Spammer- Spacing error done all his posts- The Pharmacist on: January 19, 2018, 06:57:56 PM
It seems rather ironic that you're accusing them of having poor grammar.

You can check the spacing error he has done in all the post. Shit Grammar issue and spacing issue in all his posts.

I hope theymos should review this and mark him out of the forum.

ALU service member spamming with the bought account in their campaigns and using multiple accounts to give positive feedback each other.  I will reveal all those fuckers out soon.

First watch your posts history what you are doing. You are the silent bumper for Atriz and ALU service helper. It can be understand for whoever seeing your post history. I suspect you may be alt account of Atriz. You will be having fired asshole soon.  Grin Grin Grin
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=325061;sa=showPosts

Go read all his post history and then confirm he is not having a grammar issue. Stupid signature supporters like always help them and keep safe. Many loyal people are buried out because of Lauda.
Do you know what Lauda will do in her all self moderated topic? Using her power badly in the forum. I have a evidence to prove this bitch is not a right person.

Do you even see what you're typing? Holy shit, nearly every single sentence is shittily constructed. Never mind grammar, but the semantics are impossible to decipher. Inconsistency in plurality/singularity, adjacent vowels, incorrect verb tense usage, etc.

You type like Yoda.
3842  Other / Meta / Re: Forum ranks/positions/badges (What do those shiny coins under my name mean?) on: January 19, 2018, 06:36:25 PM
Considering the spike in the amount of members and the content, shouldn't there be new categories introduced and more donation options to suit a wider range of people?
Why? It undermines the value of the donations from everyone prior to the proposed change.

Introduction of ICO founders and Campaign managers could help them in identifying more easily and would definitely help in getting a more donations to the forum.
Let us remember that this forum should not rely on signature campaigns or ICOs. Especially not the latter, given that this is bitcointalk after all.

And you don't really need any title (?) to identify them. Not only would this take a large amount of moderation for a (mainly) pointless feature but it would also require a lot of subjectivity: when projects look shady or go scam.
3843  Other / Meta / Re: Hacked account giving Fake trust - help me on: January 19, 2018, 01:08:27 PM
The account is already tagged by KWH. There's no real point of adding any redundant negative feedback to it as anything from the account can essentially be considered garbage/false already. It can't do much harm, and if it does then additional feedback wouldn't really help anyway.

By the way, did you have any proof that the account was yours? i.e. a staked address/address sent in PM? If so then you could potentially recover it.
3844  Economy / Reputation / Re: Red trust by The Pharmacist on: January 19, 2018, 11:19:44 AM
This is not fair The Pharmacist has ignored me since he marked me with a red trust that was long before when i was still a newbie. You can judge me if you want too, but this is not fair. I know you think im still a shitposter but what can i say english is not my first language and i think im improving a bit. Sir Yahoo keep accepting me in his Campaigns. I know for sure sir yahoo's standards are good i didnt mean to brag but to be honest i respect Sir yahoo as a great campaign manager. Im supporting him for more than 3 and half months and in that time im always on his campaign. I hope someone will judge this and i dont know if this is the right Section to complain so please guide me right.
If your English is shitty then why do you think that it's good enough quality? Sure. You can be ESL (or E nth L) and not be a shitposter. But that doesn't help when you use poor grammar and crude sentence structures. What's with the random capitalization and lack of capitalization on your i's? I think most people who are half-decent at English can at least get that right.

Spamming 'sir' everywhere doesn't help your case, either.
Also, remember that trust is given at a user's discretion.
3845  Other / Meta / Re: Forum ranks/positions/badges (What do those shiny coins under my name mean?) on: January 19, 2018, 07:34:58 AM
At me now Activity: 42, the next stage 42 + 14 = 56 or Activity: 60 ?
By the way I do not understand why not accrue activity, already two weeks of Activity 42
Next stage is 56 as you can see. Activity is refreshed every 30 minutes so it may not have updated when you were posting. It's always in 14-activity increment chunks, so you won't hit 60 (Member status) until the next activity period, which is on the 30th.

And activity periods are not every two weeks since your registration, rather they follow a rough two-week schedule on every other Tuesday. The exact times can be found on this Google Sheet: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1dDySMB2lsOIIkUXuax2rXL30gv656E4xTsFcC2zQHkg/pubhtml
3846  Other / Meta / Re: Stop fake bitcointalk clones on: January 19, 2018, 06:37:00 AM
How long will it be until someone gets infected with a virus from one of those sites? Bitcointalk members make good targets for such attacks because they are likely to have bitcoins on their computers.
Tch, what do you want people to do about it? You can't hold people's hands with phishing sites. There's always going to be more, like the heads of a hydra. Chop one off and two more grow.
It's not like you can just prevent BCT mirror and/or phishing sites from popping up. There's just no feasible way of controlling them.
Best way to deal with things (on your end) is to use a password manager: that way if it's the wrong site you won't even be able to log in.
3847  Other / Meta / Re: Can we have a Finnish local board please? on: January 19, 2018, 04:24:52 AM
I'd only want some place to post the translated Finnish ICO announcement or bounties. Hurts to see a generous bounty where Finnish language is sought after, but one can not translate it here  Sad
That's weird. Why would an ICO want a Finnish announcement thread if there isn't even a board set up in the first place? Whether or not this is a catch-22 doesn't matter: if there isn't an intrinsic demand for such a board i.e. not to perpetuate ICO ANN threads (because that would be as pointless as teaching philosophy) then there shouldn't be one.
3848  Other / Meta / Re: Stop fake bitcointalk clones on: January 19, 2018, 04:21:37 AM
These are mainly bad. There is some good in them, though. They can be used as a sort of archive. Because of the scraped content, some deleted/edited posts may still be on that parallel site and so you can use that to potentially bust alternate accounts.
Think of it as if there was no Trashcan section and everything was available.
3849  Other / Meta / Re: Forum ranks/positions/badges (What do those shiny coins under my name mean?) on: January 19, 2018, 12:11:29 AM
Not that donating 50 BTC to have some extra flair on the account isn't cool or anything, but $600k is a little steep now days ...
The price was always designated at 50 BTC. Changing it to fit anything right now would be unfair to the original donators. Plus, there isn't much additional benefit to donating such an amount—if you wanted to donate, you can just send any sum of bitcoins to the donation address. Wink
You're only missing out on a Donator board which I assume is pretty dead and the ability to change your custom title at will.
3850  Other / Meta / Re: Two new no-signature boards on: January 17, 2018, 08:03:26 PM
I also notice that this thread ( Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion ) we can't view our signature. Is that part of this movement? Or Its been already implemented before this and I'm just late to know about that?
This was implemented before. IIRC it was because there was a debate about the trashing (??) of the thread and rather than get rid of it because it was a source of information, theymos simply removed signatures for it. Find the thread discussing this if you want more precise information.

I see that newbies were already posting junk in Serious Discussion, so I made changes:
 - The member limitations are moved up one rank. You must be a Jr Member to post in Serious Discussion and a Full Member to post in Ivory Tower
 - Posts in Serious Discussion only activate a potential-activity period. They do not increase your post count.
 - Posts in Ivory Tower neither activate a potential-activity period nor increase your post count.
Can we implement some of these restrictions in Off Topic and Politics and Society boards as requested here:
How about in all stickied Meta threads too? I constantly see them being used by newbies to just farm up activity. They agree or say it's a good source of information and are doing fuck-all to the forum. And then there's the ones that are asking questions which are answered in the thread.
3851  Economy / Gambling / Re: BetKing.io - Leaderboard, Happy Hour, 50 BTC Jackpot, 20 currencies, rakeback on: January 17, 2018, 09:52:52 AM
bumpthrust: it looks like it may be possible to play poker on BetKing soon. I'm pretty excited for this development since you don't really have any reasonable poker room operators here in the crypto scene.
3852  Economy / Reputation / Re: aTriz farming trust on: January 17, 2018, 09:49:25 AM
I cannot fight alone against an army of alts which Lauda has.Everyone is free to judge, facts are right in front of their eyes.
Where? I don't see any proof of linkage and you're not really providing any substantial proof of it. Just like every single other person who creates these accusations: the proof is either non-existent or of such a pitiful degree that you wouldn't even wipe your ass with a print of it.

Also, that's a lot of campaigns to manage and even more posts made every day over the accounts... Where does LaudarkStarTriz find the time to do it?
3853  Economy / Reputation / Re: actmyname reputation thread on: January 17, 2018, 09:38:07 AM
You are confirming what I doubted. Lauda and aTriz both replied in the same time ,they are the same person.
Hey, you posted at the same time as TMAN! You must be the same person as him! There is no sense in your logic and the connection is unsound.

If two people post at roughly the same time, that shouldn't be considered a connection. If this were the case then you would be connecting pretty much every single account on this forum together. Would waiting an hour prevent you from thinking that two consecutive posts are made by the same person?
3854  Economy / Reputation / Re: actmyname reputation thread on: January 17, 2018, 07:55:53 AM
Now you made another error. You replied both in a very short amount of time confirming you are the same person. I will leave forum members to judge this. I got what I wanted for the moment. I am not finished yet with you. More coming soon.
Oh no! I am so scared  Cry

You should be  Grin
No, I'm not. Because I am thermos and I own this forum so I will ban you right now! Angry

Now anyone with an IQ less than 80 can make simple connections.
Also what the fuck? AFAIK, sea cucumbers can't make anything, never mind connections Wink
3855  Economy / Reputation / actmyname reputation thread on: January 16, 2018, 10:36:19 PM
Are you butthurt? Did poor old actmyname tickle you a little too hard?

Voice your opinions and speak to the public about how I exposed disgraced you with my negative feedback and archaic language!

Petition to the public about how I am obviously not an alt of DarkStar_, aTriz, The Pharmacist, Lauda, thermos!

Enthrall all of us with how I have a ton of negative feedback from scammers completely legitimate and honest people!

Don't forget to use your blue text color and eye-raping bold styling and cool sunglasses smilies! Cool Cool

Disclaimer: write the word "sir" in your reply and you will be ignored
Or alternatively discuss positive experiences with me: that's also cool.
3856  Other / Meta / Re: RFC: Ads for "Bitcoin Interest" on: January 16, 2018, 08:23:03 PM
I'm not sure why the target audience would make it any less deceptive?
Anyone using the Bitcoin name as part of their fork is being deceptive and I would assume wouldn't be allowed.
Agreed. It doesn't matter whether you're attempting to deceive adults or children, experts or uninformed—the intention is the same.

I think it's also important to add this critical fact: not all miners are well-informed. If you consider the recent influx of bitcoin users then you'll certainly see some percentage of that dabble in mining. Some with ignorance and some without. To the latter, "Bitcoin Interest" may be deceptive to them. Wouldn't you agree?
3857  Other / Meta / Re: Forum ranks/positions/badges (What do those shiny coins under my name mean?) on: January 16, 2018, 08:19:23 PM
the explanation is very clear, why people asking samethings all of this pages ?
Because these people are farming their accounts and so the easiest place that they can post are these stickied threads. That, or they're ignorant as fuck and don't really want to read. You can definitely see these when you consider the activity of the users that create such posts – in fact, some make threads which just bloat up the Meta section – and the ease of access to information.

With a search tool and plenty of time, who needs to create these posts?
a) Lazy bums
b) Account farmers
3858  Economy / Reputation / Re: My list of users banned from signature campaigns + Submit your own spammers on: January 16, 2018, 06:21:31 PM
Here's some:
bapetdik
santino11
Blackmet
4U
Requim
Naflcopa

among others on this ONE page: https://archive.is/S1Coo
I'm also tagging them with red trust. Along with some other users.

[edit]: a lot of users.
3859  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: if some one know meta mask wallet privet key on: January 16, 2018, 05:09:27 PM
If your private key is compromised, then you have to move whatever you have left to a new wallet as soon as you can. Make sure to keep this next one in a safe place and properly secure so that this doesn't happen again. (How did this even happen in the first place?)
3860  Economy / Reputation / Re: aTriz farming trust on: January 16, 2018, 07:42:29 AM
Not going to talk about the reference Lauda linked to your trust feedback because I'm not particularly informed on the whole jamalaezaz shenanigan.
Many of members who have judge power here work together!

You just need a IQ<80 and finger to click in some nicknames!
These are just empty insults. I don't see the point.

You give me red-trust using your power, but look at your trust! Just 1 postitive feedback have reference link, and a negative feedback has covered, WTF!
Yeah, because sometimes a reference is not required for feedback. When it covers a variety of different topics and can be found consistently, is there really a point to link any specific page/thread?

Suppose you're adding a negative feedback to a spammer's profile. Do you seriously link every single shitpost they created? No.

Click in the users who have give positive feedbacks and check they feedbacks! Same guys with without reference! OHHHHHH just a little deal, ok, your keyboard dont have printscreen?
Bitcointalk is a world reference when we talk about descentralization and and cryptocurrency, but shit like this guys will give reason to all shit about us coming from banks!
Similar to the above.

If you read the feedback comments they're usually abstract if there isn't a reference.

Imagine: how would you link a reference if your comment was: 'Leibniz has time and time again proved that they have the sharpest wit'?
