3841  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH or Bitcoin which is best. on: May 10, 2021, 08:16:26 PM
As all others saying, Bitcoin and Ethereum are making new all times high prices this year, and we can't deny the progress of both of them. I dont believe in competition between Bitcoin and Ethereum, they have different purpose, and we can compare these two with some other chains.
Bitcoin will always be the number one for me and many others. On other hand Ethereum have some serious competition and i am a bit annoyed by their high fees. Generally I am using cheaper chains for my transactions whenever I can! And there are food alternatives.
3842  Other / Archival / Re: Everyone is following the same strategy on: May 10, 2021, 07:34:09 PM
It would be foolish to think that everyone follows the same strategy, it would be better to say that we all have the same goal, to make a profit! But how we get to that profit is a different story for each of us!
I don't agree that it is not kind of foolishness because we are all working for making profits by buying at cheaper levels and then selling at higher levels which makes some people are assuming like we are all into same kind of strategy; and I am not seeing any wrong with that.

When you sell someone is buying! Your sell strategy is someone's buying strategy! So it's foolish to think that everyone follows the same strategy!
I can't simplify this anymore, I hope you understand now what I wanted to say! Each of us is trying something, but our tries differ from each other, and that is a fact! I explained above why!

You don't see any wrong when you buy low and sell high! But someone bought that high and sold that low, so from his perspective everything is the opposite!

Good luck, I hope I cleared some things for you!
3843  Other / Archival / Re: Everyone is following the same strategy on: May 10, 2021, 06:07:56 AM
Following the same strategy is not a good idea to do as an individual traders here in cryptocurrency.
It is still much better to apply the natural way of trading in crypto space, aside from that most of the time
when you do the same strategy you will never learn and understand what really trading is in this filed
of business anyway.

Well, if the strategy is profitable you will not change it! Natural or artificial, simple or complicated... you find what works for you and you do it as long as the strategy works and brining profit!
Of course, it's hard to believe that any strategy can work for a long period, but like in everything else I believe there're exceptions here, so probably some people are doing the same thing for years, and that is still profitable for them!
It would be foolish to think that everyone follows the same strategy, it would be better to say that we all have the same goal, to make a profit! But how we get to that profit is a different story for each of us!
3844  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Could we crowdfund a movie about Satoshi Nakamoto? on: May 09, 2021, 05:37:00 PM
Lol it would be either fun or waste of time. Steve Spelberg will not waste his time for this project

Satoshi loves to be anonymous and live in the shadow. Creating a movie about him against all of his free will. We should respect his wish. He has given us the greatest invention ever

I think it's about the money! So whoever hit a billion-dollar wallet first, should give 10-20 million for the movie. Maybe Spielberg needs more money, but any billionaire could handle any request!

We all to crowdfund the movie will not be right, but I guess some smart contracts would be able to calculate all investments, and in the end, everyone would get a share of the project... classical ICO, or IEO...

Jokes on aside, we should respect the privacy of the creator! But that doesn't mean that some imaginative person can't deliver a story that could look like some real thing! Artist freedom... somehow I am sure we will see something about this very soon. Crypto, especially Bitcoin, is becoming more popular, and movie industry will use it!
3845  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: beginner trader: Are trading signals and bots worth it? on: May 09, 2021, 08:56:46 AM
I think it's a bad idea to use trading signal and bots because it might hindered the learning process of a beginner. Maybe as a reference trading signal can be use. Remember that a trader should develop his/her own system that consistently made him/her money.

It's a bad idea to try something new with all-in! If you are trying something new with money you can afford to lose then why not?
Don't get me wrong here, I am not saying you should run for every signal, or to run any trading bot... first do some research about them, how trustworthy they are, did anyone else tried them... and if you like what you see, you should give it a try!
In crypto (and pretty much everywhere else) there are people who are honest and fair, and people who are just using everything they can for their own benefit! So everyone should be careful with new things, but bad things that can happen are not reason for not living a life!
3846  Economy / Economics / Re: What's Next? After Bitcoin Passes The 60K Mark...... on: May 09, 2021, 07:21:15 AM
In my opinion, the trend is very difficult to navigate at this time.  Looks like the market is correcting and rallying to analysis.  Institutional investors are waiting for orders to be passed from Biden's new tax law, which will lie in the middle of the inner Senate.  They will know how to take advantage of the opportunity and how to target it.  ETH is submitting an ETF, and it's getting bitcoin's attention as well.  In my prediction, next week we will break 65k and follow by ATh at 70k $.

The trend is crazy in the past months, there are swings, but Bitcoin is breaking records this year, that's a fact! Not just Bitcoin, many coins are making crazy progress... but what's next!?

Maybe it all started like in 2017, but now as time passes, I am starting to realize that many things are a lot different... like the fact that Bitcoin is now in many institutions, huge companies... This is a different level, and I think that we can see some drop, but nothing big, in short term any kind of swing is possible... but as more companies, institutions, more are people getting in, the price can only go up! Of course, in the long run!
3847  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: This happened many months ago but still wanted to share. on: May 09, 2021, 05:31:51 AM
Who are real gamblers and fake gamblers?
So, going through TOS will definitely help you. I will read TOS just before adding funds to my gambling bankroll.

There's nothing like a comparable gambler and can't be, all gamblers are the same but they must try to give the site's ToS a read before playing there just to keep their back safe.

First to say I am sorry because I cut many lines here, I didn't want to make a mess with quitting everything!

You guys read TOS, I deposit $50 and I check how everything goes without reading TOS! I read it just when I have some problems! "Real gamblers do not read TOS!" is a borrowed line from "mu_enrico", a famous bitcointalk slot player! I liked that sentence, I saw some truth in that... but I know that reading TOS can save us from some problems, it's why I wrote "joke or not, I don't know"! Just because it's written, it doesn't mean it's true...  In the end, it's gambling... I respect casinos that are fair, I usually check that fairness with a deposit, and how I play I see for myself how fair they are!

Stedsm I really can't agree that all gamblers are the same... people are different! We have a different way of thinking/playing, different goals, and most important different bankrolls. While some "real gamblers" are aware of what gambling is, what risking money is, understanding the games and applicable strategies, some are clueless! I don't know should I go that way, but I saw many "irrational" gamblers, people who just wish to win and think that gambling is easy money, some of them risk money that is not theirs! Fake gamblers that just exploit giveaways and promotions... nooo, not a chance that all gamblers are the same!
3848  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: This happened many months ago but still wanted to share. on: May 08, 2021, 03:46:50 PM
This shows how important is to always read the terms and conditions and even more important when you are using your bonus which usually has even more terms and conditions applied before you withdraw.Sorry for your trouble but I am sure you now never skip a reading of any term and conditions anymore.
Same problem everytime sd gamblers often deny reading and learning the TOS and then troubled when issues comes their way. why not make it a routine as gambler to always manage checking and understanding  the terms so if ever things like this happen at least we already Knew what to expect and what to do.

I partially agree with you... why the hell he was able to place bets in the first place? Like this, the site let him play, and when he finished they reminded him about TOS! What would happen if he lost? They would say the same, terms violations, and they would return him his initial deposit!?

Real gamblers don't read TOS! Just a joke or not, I don't know...but I am not reading TOS, I check basics and for all confusions, I ask support, and few times they gave me wrong answers! In my humble opinion, it's not nice to allow something, and when it happens you pull out some TOS and little letters and you blame customers... that sounds like the problems I have with banks! Smiley
3849  Economy / Gambling / Re: Best online poker with crypto? on: May 08, 2021, 12:03:52 PM
Join the game tomorrow: Second GOSU Poker Tournament on Sunday at SwC https://www.btcgosu.com/blog/news/second-gosu-poker-tournament-on-sunday-at-swc/!

I am looking for some nice crypto poker place too! I tried most of the places mentioned here, I played on Betonline years ago (I can't even remember why did I quit playing there), I was active on Coinpoker in the beginning... Now I play some games here and there (mostly SwC and Betnomi), mostly bitcointalk poker games (with guys from here)!
At one moment I was thinking to instal Coinpoker again... how are they doing? Anything interesting with them now?!
3850  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Money flowing out of BTC into Altcoins on: May 08, 2021, 05:54:52 AM
There's always a room for Bitcoin to grow even in that year.
It's not actually an altcoin season way back 2017 but Bitcoin and Ethereum. All altcoins are getting the rally up because of the two main coins pumping for ATH until it ended 2018 and slowed down.

If you are looking for profits then decide fast because this sudden boost with altcoins could end quickly.
Ethereum and BNB are growing too fast and I think that's the best option out there if not NFT's. But bro, they are really getting expensive.

I like your words, there's always enough free space for Bitcoin price to grow... and this year is in the first half, we have another half, and we all know what can happen in crypto in just a few weeks, and we have 7 more months!
Now it's the time for collecting profit, everything is a lot higher than a few months back! Holding is always a good option, but moving some funds from one investment to another can be good from time to time! I guess all that depends on the investor and his goals!
I don't know what is the smart thing to do now, but having some good coins on holding for the long run is a must... in the same time using profits from this rise and trying out some new opportunities is also fine, who doesn't try can't do a lot!
3851  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I am doomed on trading on: May 07, 2021, 04:38:56 PM
Trading cryptocurrency for a living is currently not for you. First you need to find a job to have a fixed income. Second develop your trading skills or system. Until you are very confident to do trading for a living.

Not currently, the best thing for OP is to never try to trade again! I am not sure that I understand his words correctly, he placed a buy order and that's it?! Money lost? I saw more about his son and food than about trading...

And why would anyone risk everything (in this case $400), on something you never ever tried before?! This is an insane move... and you know you need money for other things, but you decided to go all-in with 0 knowledge about what you are doing... and now the time for crying has come! I don't feel sorry for the guy, I feel sorry for the kid... his dad will make the same mistake again, most likely!
3852  Economy / Economics / Re: Using Blockchain to run economies on: May 07, 2021, 12:56:17 PM
...
Using blockchain to run economics will work out for countries where the Government is heavily Corrupt and at the same time the people have no say in the whole matter which makes the whole thing even more difficult to handle.... What blockchain can do is:
They can make the whole economy transparent. All the transactions from the politicians can be checked by anyone and that would be the beauty of the whole thing ! Can you do that with banks ?? Do you even know how much money these politicians hold at their houses ? It's actually an adverse situation. At the same time the simplicity is also a plus point, once given a little support they can be integrated in things like banks, Schools , practically anywhere they need file keeping.
I do think the reason why Government and the politicians are so against blockchain is because they are actually scared of the transparency that would come with it.

I completely agree with you Fiulpro! In most countries, people have no say, and ordinary people are struggling with all institutions for some rights... in 21st century most of us still need to visit 20 offices and collect a bunch of papers to finish something!
Blockchain can solve many problems, and not just that, it can make many operations a lot easier! We could just sit and finish everything from the computer or phone... without losing time, energy, money while going from one office to another... always short for one document!
I also think that governments are against Blockchain because they wouldn't be able to do the same they are doing now! Now they have control, they can hide/reveal things that suit them, but with Blockchain everything can be transparent, and they will not be able to hide what they don't like, or their illegal activities! It's why fight for the future is on all of us! People will have to choose one day, algorithm and crypto, or governments and bankers!
3853  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🐺WOLF.BET - $5,000 Race Every Wednesday! Advanced Dice Game 🎲 2.000 Bets/s⚡ on: May 07, 2021, 11:09:32 AM
As we previously mentioned, there are a lot, and I repeat, a lot, of abusive farmers, the price fluctuations also didn't help us, so we think a stable coin such as USDT is the most convenient way to reward users from now, this change is definitive.  VIP members will still get their rewards normally, and the Wolf Race will still continue to pay in BTC.
Have noticed many of these farmers on a regular basis begging in chat-rooms etc. With the rising BTC and altcoin rates, they seem to be rising in number. Good to see USDT being utilised to tackle these issues despite the controversies surrounding it.

I hope you guys don't end up following Roobet in this regard by implementing mandatory KYC etc which is the worst possible solution in my opinion.

Because of that KYC I am not active on Roobet anymore... I don't even plan to do give them my documents, hopefully, I have just a few dollars left there and I don't need them! I hope Wolf will not go this way... for me, mandatory KYC is also the worst possible solution for the crypto casinos!

Well, now the rain is not interesting as before! I understand this move, but I generally don't like USDT, I just stopped claiming them!

Don't forget, there is a $5000 race currently live!  Smiley

The race is live, but it's not so easy to compete with the wolf pack! Good luck all! Smiley
3854  Economy / Economics / Re: Africa needs to fix continent, richest people are politicians on: May 07, 2021, 06:04:54 AM
Is it like that just in Africa?!

Quote
Rodolphe Archibald Reiss (8 July 1875 – 7 August 1929) was a German-Swiss criminology-pioneer, forensic scientist, professor, and writer. When Serbia was overrun in 1915 he joined the Serbian Army in its retreat across Albania to return with the victorious Serbian Army when it liberated Belgrade in the final days of the war. He was known as a great friend of Serbia and the Serbian people and after the war decided to stay and live in the Kingdom of Yugoslavia... As a legacy to the Serbian people, he left an unpublished manuscript Ecoutez les Serbes! "Listen Serbs!"

So this guy wrote that manuscript, it's an interesting story... and there is one part about the government people... "I do not know a single minister who did not get rich during his term"!
He wrote that 100 years ago, and I think it's still the same! Nothing changed... People get into politics to get rich or to keep their wealth safe because these politicians are controlling the police, the military, and of course all sort of secret agencies!
I guess I understand why the richest people in Africa are politicians or close with them... it's the same here in my country. How to change that? What needs to happen? People to wake up?! I am not sure about that part...
3855  Other / Off-topic / Re: Slapping Tournament on: May 06, 2021, 09:41:10 AM
I think Muay Thai Sports is more deserving to be listed in sportsbooks compared to this slapping Tournament.

All I can say, this is too boring, Muay Thai on the other hand has more to offer. Fighting styles, pieces of training, experience, and counter. Meaning to say that strength isn’t the only thing you had to weigh compared to Slapping Tournament.

But honestly, I don’t see the point Slapping Tournament should exist. This is a very boring competition, the contenders are mostly douchebags (sorry for the words). I was able to see a man joined this with a muscled implanted and I really found it gross and I pity the man.
I love Muay Thai and I would go and say that it is a criminally underrated sports that needs to have its highlights because this is the definition of blood sport for me next to Lethwei. You may get bored with slapping tournaments but people are flocking towards it and you know that in terms of market, trend is a thing that we shouldn't disregard.

Slapping tournaments can't be compared with Muay Thai, as you both said about Muay Thai, it's a fighting sport, you need to train for that, a lot of practice for speed and strength... while for slapping tournaments you only need strength! So you put two big guys on each side and you watch who will slap harder, and who will endure longer... I watched it a few times, just for laughs. It's not something I would place bets on, maybe just for fun... like when I am with some friends and we will place bets on our favorites! Nothing big, for fun and laughing...
I also watched some women slapping... some of them are even funnier!

- New Huge Event

First i was thinking that this would be listing, but when i take a closer look at the wording, it sounds like something else. They would probably say it's a listing if it was, but this could be something better; Something huge they haven't done before, something unlike altcoin spring.

Will be interesting to see what Betfury prepared for us this time... what that huge event this can be?! Some new coins? And new providers? I missed the last event, but I will not miss this one!

-New NFT! Maybe this is a good opportunity to win some NFT cards... I will take a closer look at this, I wonder how can we win this NFT, what we have to do for that?!
3857  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The price of Dodgecoin since 2020 in 34 secs on: May 05, 2021, 08:30:21 PM
Very nice friend...
Who would have thought Dogecoin could be like this, so unexpected. But I still feel this is just a while seeing Dogecoin always being carried by Elon Musk. I hope it's just my guess.

Who thought it will be like this, with Doge coins... we could be millionaires just with Doge, and nothing else! It's how crazy crypto world is, it's how some crazy project like Doge can reach these rights!
But one question arises, what is next?! Doge to 1 dollar? Where will be Bitcoin? What with all others?
Once again I stand surprised... and I am not sure what will happen next?! New big dump, or even bigger rise and new all times high prices?! So many questions, and not so many answers... at least not some concrete answers, just speculations, like always!
3858  Economy / Economics / Re: China to overtake the Us as the largest global economy by 2028? on: May 05, 2021, 01:11:17 PM
~I do not agree with your point of view, although the countries have mutual economic support through the export and import process but this process did not create too much development, the development came from competition, look at the crypto market, you can also see this process, most countries have specific products and cannot be copied by that country.

A healthy competition isn't going anywhere, and you are right, it helps economic development. I was rather talking about the unhealthy one, when one country(or a block of countries) desires to be ahead no matter what. If they can't grow economically, they are rooting for their adversaries to decline. This type of "competition" ended not so long ago, but fortunately for ever.

Moreover, the US is a fairly strong country in the military, the weapons are a very expensive brand and the US is very developed in this field, China is always difficult to surpass the US with current technology.

Absolutely agree with you on this one. Overall, any governmental propaganda telling their citizens they have better armed forces than the U.S. are just lying.

The military is military, but economically I think the Chinese are winning! It's because of their crazy products! So I visit Chinese stores and I buy crazy toys for my kid, for 1-2 euros, and you can choose! And few times I was amazed by some of their simple products, just plastic, and it's shit, and it's just a euro or two... so we can buy them all the time!

I am not sure about the healthy competition here, because there are too many Chinese, with many resources... but what they are doing in the last 20 years is paying off for them, they are everywhere, and a lot of money is in circulation, we probably can't imagine what is coming in and out from China!

This is just my point of view... I didn't/don't have access to many (if any?) products from the US, and maybe they are more expensive than Chinese, and I don't look/hear about them a lot, so I can't be objective here as some others can!
3859  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: holding is not an easy thing on: May 05, 2021, 08:53:32 AM
...
this brings me to the question of maybe holding is for the rich who can afford to buy and forget. ? lets discuss this, thank you.

Yes, for rich people it's easier! They can invest and hold for years... they will still have money for everything else! On the other side many people live from day to day, so money enough to eat and pay bills today, for tomorrow you need to find money! So for those people, it's really hard to put anything valuable aside and just wait... it's hard to wait with an empty stomach!

It's hard when you are starting from zero, or even worse, from minus! But it's not impossible, there're exceptions, especially in crypto... there's always a way, but a person should be able to find it and push it!
3860  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Feel Pressed Something while Gambling on: May 05, 2021, 05:10:35 AM
Why would you feel pressured in gambling? That is very ironic. Gambling is supposed to be a fun thing. For others, it is supposed to take pressure away. Some others are too pressured from work-related activities, family matters, love life, career, etc and they spend a few moments or hours gambling so that they will temporarily be taken away from their depressing situations and enjoy their lives. But if gambling itself is pressuring also, then you just get away from it as well and look for other fun activities.

It's not ironic, pressure comes from risking money that's not yours (loan), or you can't afford to lose anything (money for the family, food, etc), but you still gamble... and as the bankroll goes down, pressure is going up!
I agree that gambling should be entertainment, in the way you explained it. But some people tend to see gambling as the way out of the problem, and it's a wrong point of view, in most cases gambling will just make a problem bigger than it was!
