3841  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: When do you think is a good time to start trading ? on: September 19, 2016, 07:40:36 AM
Well , let's say you made about 0.02-0.03 BTC , can you start trading ? is there any limits for trading like minimum and maximum amount ?
where you guys think is a good place to start a trade ? share your trading experiments and recommendation.
I also would like to know at which amount you guys started trading [ personal experiment ].

Edit :

Sorry, i think i posted it in wrong section, if possible mod can you move it to the right section?
Thanks

I started trading with 500K satoshi. At poloniex, the minimum order will be 100K satoshis. Your 0.02BTC is large enough to start trading. The only question now is if you are knowledgeable and determined enough to take the risk of trading. Aside from financial preparedness, you should also be emotional and intellectually prepared to trade. I think those two is more important than just having enough bitcoins to trade.
3842  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you consider trading as gambling? on: September 19, 2016, 06:55:49 AM
Trading actually involves a deep  study, before investing your money  or putting your possession into it... So, for those  people who just listen to one or two articles and then  go straight into trading for  that stocks , would  be more like gambling.

It is true. Anyone invest money in trading based on someone's suggestion is like gambling so don't ever invest money based on some tips. Instead, try to find out the news is correct or not before investing. Many people lost money who invested based on some suggestions and start blaming the tip provider.

It is good to listen to tipster so you can get some idea but the final say should always be yours. Get some tips then verify if the idea is feasible or not. Do not just blindly follow tipster because sometimes it is just a plot for them to earn more. In short, do not be lazy especially if you are in  trading.

But you we listen to tipster and if we don't have a much knowledge on the product than mostly we may follow the tipster tips. So if you don't have a knowledge on particular product it is better avoid investing on those products to avoid loss.

You are mad if you are going to put your money on something that you do not have any idea. Even if the one giving you ideas is your best friend, you should always check facts out before putting your money in an investment. It is your money and you should be the one responsible where you are putting it. Use tipsters to get new ideas, but you should always verify everything.
3843  Other / Off-topic / Re: Will you quit your day job to go full time on bitcoin? on: September 19, 2016, 06:50:02 AM
Having to depend on bitcoin and bitcoin alone is way to risky. You will eventually get caught up in the volatility stream of bitcoin and thus unable to pay your bills.
That's now way near a steady income.
In our life depending on only one source of income is always risky. But when considering the bright future of bitcoin, sometimes I do think about accepting bitcoin salary. But after hearing so many suggestions, I am deciding to get part of my salary in bitcoin.

In our situation today, it is very hard to survive with just one earning parent in a family. So, if I have an opportunity to work for more jobs, I will take it and will not quit any. The only scenario I will quit a job is if one of the job can earn triple the amount I am earning now. Bitcoin can provide that opportunity someday, but for now, I am keeping both my jobs.
3844  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If you were rich, would you still gamble? on: September 19, 2016, 06:42:52 AM
also when you are rich you have enough money to keep following your losses until you win and make all your losses back.

for example you can even try martingale strategy and we all know that one of the biggest reasons why we all lose is that we do not have enough big bankroll. but if you are rich you can increase your bankroll so that you end up winning eventually.

Martingale strategy does not work even if you have a very large bankroll. The only way you can win thru martingale is if you have infinite money, and we all know that no one have infinite wealth. If you are already rich, you do not need gambling to make money. Start a business, make it grow and do gambling just for fun.
3845  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much can you earn with gambling? on: September 19, 2016, 06:32:50 AM
There is no certain amount of bitcons you can earn, because gambling is not about certainties. It's about taking risk and getting well compensated or having lose your deposit.
That's how gambling works and that's why you should be careful.

And you are not even sure you will be winning so you cannot tell how much you can earn from gambling. You should not think of earning when you gamble. You will just be stressed out. Gambling should be done to remove stress and for entertainment only. If you want to earn, get a job and work.
3846  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When gambling makes you cry. on: September 19, 2016, 05:42:10 AM
Gambling can really make you cry but I think its not bad but even logical, gambling is based on luck, and sometimes when you do not have this luck you will cry because you have lost money...
I think its normal and that we have to live with it...

If you are crying over it, then it is better to quit gambling. You will just suffer more if you will keep on gambling because you are not assured  that you will always win. Most of the time you will suffer some great loss and you will cry again. Unless you are a masochist, then stop yourself from being hurt by your gambling habits. It is not something that you have to endure and live with.

3848  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: To Gamble or To Invest? on: September 19, 2016, 02:27:32 AM
If gambling is where your heart is then why not both? Gamble some and invest big. As for me I really tried my best to avoid gambling that I invested nearly all my remaining coins to some reliable sites/groups. Or else I end up losing it all.

well, some lessons are to be learned the hard way. I've lost quite a lot in dice now and when I think about it, I should already have returns if I've invested the money I gambled. so you're right, it's ok to gamble, you just have to be responsible with your money so you won't have regrets in the long run

As long as you know what your priority is, then I think you will not have any problem even if you gamble and invest. But if you are giving more importance to gambling , which you will lose most of your money, then you are going into the wrong path. We should always prioritize investing because it gives us a better chance to have a good future. Gambling is just a side thing that should only be done to relieve us from stress.
3849  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What wallets do you use and why? on: September 19, 2016, 02:13:44 AM
I am using blockchain.info in the long run because I am very satisfied with their service. At first, I used xapo but it is making me very hassle because I am not liking their service anymore. I am not liking their 2FA and 60 seconds of waiting to skip some of their confirmations. Even though blockchain does have another 2FA using emails but that is not hassle for me.
I think 2 factor authentication should be only when user wants it like in most wallet providers and because of the fact that XAPO asks us to enable it even when we don't want makes me hate xapo too.
Guys try the new rushwallet its superb !

2FA is a good security for online wallets so that you can avoid being hacked and stolen of your bitcoin. You will appreciate its value if you got hacked and the 2FA protects your wallet. It is just a little inconvenience but I can live with that. I think the sms 2FA is better than just email because your email can be hacked too.
3850  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When gambling makes you cry. on: September 18, 2016, 04:16:29 PM
bitcoin gambling makes me cry when i was tried to bet with my faucet collection at freebitco.in . i starts with my month 0.001 collection of free satoshi given by that site per hour . since i was betting with stretgy but after half hour i had lost all btc .

The thing is, there is no gambling strategy which is profitable long term. So, the key for success is, to know when you have to stop gambling after you won some pot. Most gamblers make the mistake to continue gambling because they think that the luck is on their side.

It is their greed that urges them to go on and keep gambling even if they have already won. The little money they have won will not satisfy them so they will bet more so they can win more. But the problem is, they are not assured of winning in gambling even if they have won in the previous games. They will lose and all their previous profits will be nothing.
3851  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If you were rich, would you still gamble? on: September 18, 2016, 03:52:24 PM
Gambling is a disease for all, the rich. the middle class and the poor. The poor will want to gamble to become rich(with luck), the middle class will also gamble to have something extra and the rich will always want to be richer. In a nutshell, there are no limits in getting rich and most people believe that the fastest way to get rich is to gamble.
How can you be so sure about that, do you know that the gambling industry is one of the big supporters of bitcoin, without them we will not be able to earn money because bitcoin's value will not appreciate, I think we should thank them instead besides if you are a responsible gambler you will experience the worst outcome of gambling.

It just happens that gambling industry is the one that benefits more in bitcoin that is why it supports bitcoin. But bitcoin will grow, with or without gambling. Even if it helps to make bitcoin stronger, it does not mean that gambling is right. And if you are already rich, you should avoid gambling because of the negative effects it has on the person gambling.
3852  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you consider trading as gambling? on: September 18, 2016, 03:30:27 PM
Trading should definitely be considered as gambling as the chances of predicting the outcome is low and this in turn is risky for the trader
You lose some You win some  Undecided

If you are trading blindly or ignoring the charts and the market, then you can consider it a gamble with a low chance of winning. But if you study the charts and the market, then your trades will probably win and make you some profits.  Gambling does not have that, only press the button and pray you win.

Correct, trading without any knowledge would be like the same as gambling but same as you said if you do consider the charts and market news related to it then for sure you might gain a profitable trading but it's not a guarantee since we can't really make consecutive winning trades because as we know price volatility.

Price volatility can be useful if we can ride it. Anyway, if it is bitcoin, just do not panic sell if you bought and the price went down. It will always come back up. It is a sign that you should buy more when the price is falling. If you have the guts to hodl and buy more during price fall, then you will be all profit when it comes back up.
3853  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to stay away from gambling? suggestions ? on: September 18, 2016, 03:25:08 PM
stop gambling. gambling will only make us lust. BTC is better that we have used for trading. I was tired fooled by gambling and HYIP

to stay away from gambling it is not easy if you are gambling addict
you need time to stay away from it and you need a solution to forget about gambling.
And make another hobby that will be interesting and can improve your skill this step can help every gamblers to forget gambling. Its hard but try it if you want to stay away from gambling.

Yes this is going to be one of the best way to stay away from gambling, you must have another hobby that you are going to spend your time there. Just like being a sportsman play basketball or any sports that you think you are going to love. And for sure you are going to forget about gambling if you are going to be an athletic person.
You know what friend, when we are addicted with gambling we cannot find anything that makes us happy other than gambling. The only way I think once can avoid gambling is by having 12-16 hours of sleep a day even if he has to take some injections for this. Because if you are not sleeping you will find new ways to gamble.

You are good as dead if you are just sleeping 16 hours a day. You are spending more time on your bed than on your feet. And that is bad for your health too. Get a life, indulge in a new sports, find new hobbies. There are tons of things you can do to get your mind off gambling. You can do that instead of sleeping all day.
3854  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What wallets do you use and why? on: September 18, 2016, 02:06:46 PM
I use a wallet which originated from my country. It is an online wallet but because their main office is just nearby, I chose to use it over other wallets because it is by far the safest for me.

Same here. Even if we can say that blockchain and coinbase are one of the biggest online wallets available in the market. We still love to choose using local wallets because it is way more convenient for us.

I need local wallets so I can easily convert my bitcoin to fiat whenever I need money. Aside for that, I think we also need more secure wallet. We must not put all our bitcoin in one wallet, if one wallet is hacked or lost, not all our funds is lost.
3855  Other / Off-topic / Re: Would you like to receive your salary in BTC? on: September 18, 2016, 01:51:20 PM
Nope, takes 3 days for me to convert that to cash for real life expenses. Once my bills can be paid in btc, then I wouldn't mind.

Is that how long you convert your bitcoin into fiat in your country? That is quite too long indeed. Luckily in our country we can instantly convert our bitcoin into fiat. So even if we receive our salary in bitcoin, there is no problem.

If I do not want to get my salary from BTC. Because of you, it is very difficult to find a facility that supports BTC. In addition I prefer to keep money in the bank, and I only use bitcoin as a short-term investment.

Even if there is only a few establishment that accepts bitcoin, it can be converted to fiat anyway. It is just a minor inconvenience.  Maybe the suggestion of others, part bitcoin part fiat is the most attractive deal. You do not have to buy bitcoin anymore for your short term investment, and you also receive fiat for your daily needs.
3856  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think bitcoin is one new step for sucess. on: September 18, 2016, 01:34:40 PM
i make bitcoin as my new way to get success for my life, especially for make money because before i know bitcoin, i am unemployment without no receiving money in month, but after i know bitcoin and make it for free, i can have money, even for the small amount of money and i really grateful that i know bitcoin.

thank you for bitcoin, you really help my life.

It is good to hear that people are getting financial success or even help from bitcoin. Even if the income just came from signature campaign, gambling or trading.  Bitcoin can achieve far greater achievement than that but it is a start. The more people earn from bitcoin, the faster it will grow and adopted by the community. So bitcoin helps you earn a living, and you help bitcoin grow.
3857  Other / Off-topic / Re: how many people do you think knows about bitcoin in your community? on: September 18, 2016, 01:15:07 PM
Excluding myself, maybe 0 to a few bitcoiners in my community. That is from my city only, not the country. I have not met any bitcoin members or heard anyone mention bitcoin. But I guess in my country, there is already a significant number of bitcoin users. I hope this number grows more so that bitcoin can grow more rapidly.
3858  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: To Gamble or To Invest? on: September 18, 2016, 08:08:07 AM
i lost 0.7 btc in gambling
i lost 0.7 btc in invest
Woah thats big amount for newbie like you, you're just wasting your money with nonsense just hold them all next time and wait until the further announcement for new alternative coin that will be pop up soon so that you can able to invest that all your bitcoin into that coin so cna make profit.

Next time better know the investment you are investing. He might have a large amount of money and just throw it in the first investment he saw. He might have invested on a scam or ponzi sites that's why he lost all his invested money. It is good to invest, You can earn from it but you have to do your research and due diligence before putting any money into any investment.
3859  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When gambling makes you cry. on: September 18, 2016, 07:57:24 AM
Today gambling make me cry again i lose 0.05 today i earn that bitcoin for 3 weeks from signature campaign and now lose it to gambling website i really hate it when im always loosing money i jist wasted 0.05 of my bitcoin again. Ugh

Then why are you still gambling your hard earned money if you are always losing? I think you should have learned your lessons by now. If you care about your earnings from signature campaign, then stop gambling that money. If you cannot stop gambling, just use the faucet of the gambling sites and gamble that amount. You will be satisfied gambling and will not lose any hard earned money.
3860  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If you were rich, would you still gamble? on: September 18, 2016, 07:41:37 AM
Yes i would still do gambling activities and i can manage my money without the help of bank im a good at managing money where i play it with smartes way and the other money i will buy house , car and a love life because im broke right now i probably buy 5 girls haha to bring into my life while playing gambling

Buying love life is awesome. Haha. Well it's really on our decision on how we gonna use our money. Buying shelter, needs, medication, insurance would be prioritize first after those babes that you mention because for sure those 5 would make you easily bankrupt for sure. Haha. For me if I'm rich I would still gamble for entertainment only.

Womanizing and gambling, the worst combination ever. It spells for bankruptcy. Even if you have a large amount of money, that will not last forever if you are going to spend them on women and gambling. Gambling alone will take a toll in your finances, much more add supporting 5 babes. I think you can choose one but not both.
