It has to be something with being bored I am sure. There are so many people who have nothing else to attach to and that results with them being addicted to gambling because they are basically feeling like they are doing something finally and actually spending their time with quality but in reality they are hurting themselves. There was basically nothing in the world that would help them to spend time better and they got addicted to it.
Just to give an example I know someone who gambled for 30 years because he just had a very good business who didn't need him, he was the boss but there was managers and so forth and he didn't had to go to work, he had a office at the top of the building so all he did was gamble for 30 years. 4-5 years ago he started this collective of group or whatever its called and hasn't gambled since that moment.
Well, 30 years of gambling is really a long time. Obviously that person has strong character if he didn't develope addiction. The question why people become gambling addicts is similar why they become drug or alcohol addicts, there is no simple and unique explanation, each person is functioning on different ways. However, when gambling adrenalin and hunger for money that people can't control very often lead to addiction and many players are not even aware of thst. The problem is that that no one knows why they are addicted to gambling. People don't even realize that they have become gambling addicted. For me, if anyone plays excessive gambling he is likely to get addicted or is already addicted to gambling. |

Have you tried youtube? I have not also much knowledge of poker. But I have tried to learn through youtube for a few days. Now I have some basic ideas about poker. But not much. You can also try to get some help from youtube. Maybe you can get some basic ideas about it. But I don't sure about pro strategy.
Through youtube you can learn poker and other games too but you cannot practice it live on the gambling platform. If OP do not want to spend money in playing and learning poker, he can play poker on sites which offer free faucets. He can claim free faucets and try to learn poker. I think the faucets amounts are too less to play poker. Poker is not difficult at all. You can just learn it through youtube and then deposit your real money to play/practice only. I understand the importance of 2fa but I have not enabled it on stake.com. I keep around 100$ amount on stake.com and wouldn't want to always check my 2fa device to login. However . if you keep large amount of money on stake, then it is a good option and should be enabled. Means that you do not really worry about your money of maybe $100 is just so small amount for you. IMO, no matter how much money you have on your account, it is always better to have 2fa activated. If money is not the one you are worrying about, bear in mind that once your account is compromised then the hacker may use it for something else like scamming other by using your account. In this case indeed you wont lose anything, but it will give you a bad reputation (at least for a while). Better to be safe than sorry later. Thanks for your kind advice. Just out of the box question, if my account become compromised at stake.com, can't i ask the support and disable my account so it is not misused. Guys, We have just pushed out a new release that includes a new Dice game. Everyone is welcome to try it out. With this release we are also enabling our faucet. The problem is not that people do not understand this fact. The problem is people believe they can beat the facts. We all know gambling is favored towards the house in a big way. First is the house edge, second is the limits on bets (which limits martingale tactics for example).
Then,,, you have to deal also with normal emotion of chasing losses or believing in streaks.
Lot of people tend to think this way, they think they are winning against the house but literally they cannot. People always count how much they win today but did not count how much they have lost yesterday, even me it does not matter to me if I lost this day, what my mindset is that I can get it back tomorrow then I'm going to win tomorrow the half of what I have lost yesterday, it repeats itself. If you are gambling just for the sake of entertainment then good for you, you won't might even notice the house edge. You can be lucky one day, two days but you cannot be lucky forever. One day you will lose all of your earnings from gambling because on a unlucky day you will lose all your profits too. People do win because of luck sometimes but more people lose because they are unlucky most of the time. |

It's a general perception that if we gamble more, we can get more profit. Also we see gambling sites offering wagering competitions. The more you wager, you become eligible for a reward or prize money.
What's your though on this ? Wagering more makes you win more money in gambling?
If the only given option in order to (possibly) win the prize is to wager more then, gamblers will take that option but I'm wondering if it gives us profitable in such a thing that the more we gamble, the more lose. And for that sake ( eligible for the reward), maybe I sound tempting but I don't have to take the risk either but rather to play in the normal. The gambling site gives this temptation gamble more and wager more because they knew that if you wager more there are chances that you will lose more and hence who will benefit when you lose ?
