3841  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When will you sell bitcoin? on: March 18, 2021, 08:10:22 AM
We buy bitcoin because we want to earn money, right. But most of us are hodlers, when will you sell it?

I think everyone has its own threshold before they can sell their stash, maybe once we see bitcoin goes into 6 digits, this year, who knows. I myself has a goal too this year, however, if you think about it, bitcoin is getting harder to acquire, specially that institutions and big companies are buying millions and billions worth of BTC. Pushing the demand very high, and we all know that if supply outstrips demand, then the price could really soar by X folds.

Maybe it's better for us to save at least 1 BTC and then see how it goes.
3842  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: An Indian casino in New York? on: March 17, 2021, 09:34:16 AM
I think it doesn't have any difference though, casino's operated by Native Americans are just the same games that you will find in Las Vegas or any parts of the globe. What makes it different though is that Native Americans has sovereignty and self-government. And that is why they are immune from regulations from federal government.

Latest news: ''
Britain's Andy Murray has been awarded a wildcard for this month's Miami Open.''

Is this the last attempt to save a once great tennis career?
After a lot of health problems in recent years, Murray is no longer even among the top 100 players in the world and his return to the top of tennis will be very difficult, if not impossible.
What do you think?

Source: https://www.bbc.com/sport/tennis/56408414

Murray for me is pretty much done on tennis and I doubt that he can recover his old self and salvage his tennis career.

Good to see him being awarded a wild card in Miami, and hope that he can perform at least to go past the second round. Maybe we can see some semblance of his old self, but it will be difficult for him to regain because of the injuries, wear and tear in his body.
3844  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Poll Added] FURY vs JOSHUA: A Two Fight Deal Has Already Been Signed !! on: March 17, 2021, 08:32:58 AM
Voted "1st & 2nd Fight: Fury". Despite Joshua looking more athletic, I think that Fury has more speed and power in his fists. Based on wiki info, Tyson fought more experienced guys than Joshua. And he already fought against Joshua-like-boxer - Wilder. Fury just need to repeat his tactics, while Joshua looks to me like a pumped bodybuilder, who trains boxing (despite he has gold in Olympics). Joshua is more Olympics orientated boxer, while Fury is more pro.

Or you can say that Fury is the more technical boxer of the two.

Doesn't matter though about their body composition, maybe Joshua has more muscle. It's how they manage to use it specially fast twist muscles. Look at the Kilistcho's, tall and muscular as well and dominated the boxing scene, until Joshua and Wilder arrived.

But base on the votes, its Fury by a landslide vote. Joshua then needs to prove us wrong.
3845  Economy / Economics / Re: Tesla Bought 1.5 B in Bitcoins on: March 17, 2021, 08:04:50 AM
So that's why cryptocurrency is hyping up so much. I thought it's only Elon Musk. He appeared multiple times in my twitter timeline, but i never really look up about his bitcoin journey. I just know he's such a great influencer for bitcoin, and really able to hype up btc. Well, good thing though, tesla is really trending right now as well, if they're investing bitcoin it will make cryptocurrency even more popular, and maybe many other companies might follow the path and start to adopt cryptocurrency as well like Tesla. This is such a good sign.

Where have you been though?

Even before Elon Musk or his company bought $1.5 billion worth of bitcoin, bitcoin at least have been in hype specially after the halving. Yes, he is a social media influencer, once of the wealthiest man in the world and then tweeting about bitcoin and other cryptos, it will create a lot of noise.

Although most of the time his tweet is somewhat in the borderline of trolling about cryptos. For sure many companies are looking at bitcoin to hold on their balance sheet.
3846  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: March 15, 2021, 10:14:55 AM
From what i hear Lowry is linked to either Miami or Philadelphia, he already sold his house in Toronto so he will be shipped/traded somewhere, not sure how it will work out though as his contract is around $30mil, it's got to be a trade. I could see him in Miami, Dragic has been constantly injured and Nunn inconsistent, Pat Riley has shown over the years that he is not afraid to make trades. Lowry and Butler at backcourt look good to me!

Heat would be a great destination for him, he could be a great point guard and would help the Heat to be better this season. Lowly is always been a good teammate though, he played well with DeRozan so I guess he can play well with Butler as well.

The Heat needs some improve if they want to be a championship contender, though they reach in the Finals last season but there performance is not strong enough to have a chance to beat the Lakers, maybe this addition would help if would happen.

Lowry indeed a good back up, he always supporting his star caliber teammate,

Way back when Derozan was the star of Toronto and when Kawhai went their and bring them the title, Lowry just deal with it and didn't interrupt to any game plan, He's  a star on his own and bringing him either to Miami or Philadelphia he'll bring impact for sure, a very great addition to make the team more competitive.

Yeah, because he knows what he can contribute and he knows that this players needed his help.

And it's just a matter on how he will fit in Miami if ever he will be ship there. But I'm sure Miami will have to give some players too, so it's hard decision for them. In any case, Lowry could be a good additional to any team with his experience and leadership.
3847  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH transaction fee! on: March 15, 2021, 09:51:52 AM
I can feel you mate, Lol, I have tokens worth $200.00, but in order to move them or at least swap, I needed $700,00 gas fees. It doesn't make sense to do that, it's supposedly that we should make money here, not the other way around.

And with that said, it the touted, ETH 2.0 will not solved this problem, BSC or other competitors might take advantage of it. And currently, we have seen projects moving from ETH to BSC because of this main issue, not good for Ethereum.
3848  Economy / Speculation / Re: WoW! 3/13/2020 BTC Lowest Price Was $4,916.78! MOON Shot! HODL! on: March 14, 2021, 11:31:57 AM
It is very hard to answer your poll's question Tongue

I believe that we will see the bubble near the end of 2021 but it could take a couple of months longer and last until February 2022 to get there too.
I also believe that the history of cycles will repeat (maybe even bigger but even with the same size) price reaches $500k. So by March 2022 the bubble may be just starting to burst and price could be $400k and the bubble burst is not going to end that soon, it would take at least 6 months to reach the bottom so by 3/13/22 price could be in $400k still.

Possible, as bitcoin's narrative has change now, and so is the supposedly 4 year cycle?

We might see two big 3 year cycle before blowing the top. But in any case, yes, how time flies, last year was the lowest point for us, $3k-$4k and move forward 12 months, we are now in the $60k.

So the highest high or the top could be in the 6 digits, at least $100k-$150k on the first cycle. So just keep on HODLing.
3849  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin back to $ 10,000? on: March 14, 2021, 10:57:45 AM
What threshold will bitcoin go down this year?

Slim chance that we will see bitcoin at $10k.

We are in the bull run, and as the price obviously goes up, the less chance we might see it even hitting $40k. If we had like a covid-19 news that will really put a big dent not just on bitcoin, but the rest of financial markets, we might see 50%-60%. But that will be around $25k-$30k base on the current market price.
3850  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: March 14, 2021, 10:23:05 AM
What do you think of the totals though? The over 21.5 looks very attractive, anyone taking bets on this finals? I'm also for Agut to win here.
I am on Agut ML here. I watched him in couple matches recently and he is playing maybe the best tennis of his career. H2H is also in his favor. I don't see a way he looses this match. Too bad the odds are not a bit better on him, I feel like he can cover the handicap or maybe 2:0 in sets but that is too risky since Basilashvili is also playing with belief once more.

Lost this one, we don't know what went down, but Agut loses steam here?

Anyhow, no biggie, just part of the game, sometimes this underground can really pull surprises specially a relatively unknown. This pandemic also affected a lot of players mentality. Probably we should read the cue of Basilashvili winning against Federer a sign that he will be the giant killer in this tournament.
3851  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Estrada vs Chocolatito WBC, WBA & Ring Magazine Unification Fight on: March 14, 2021, 10:04:28 AM
Right, I agree that it live up to the hype, more exciting as the fight can go either way. I have Chocolatito winning though, he had more of the telling blows and the hard one, but maybe Estrada beat him on the eyes of the judges because he is the more busier. May rounds in the fights can be candidate for "round of the year", and obviously, this is "fight of the year".

This deserves a third fight, Chocolatito can still throw bombs, immediate rematch is needed, skip the mandatory, let this two warriors duke it out again this year.
3852  Economy / Speculation / Re: Microstrategy keep buying bitcoin. How if they become the biggest BTC HODLer? on: March 13, 2021, 09:50:53 AM
I guess it won't hurt the market if they keep on buying and storing it in the future and this might push the market price. The only question is are they really here for the long term? What if they suddenly dump their holdings?

For average joe, who is a holder, I don't think they care if Microstrategy keeps buying bitcoin, but it's going to be a competition, so everyone needs to be very careful of just dumping their bitcoin because someone is waiting to scoop it up.
3853  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: March 13, 2021, 09:11:37 AM

Thiem could be clay court specialist, heir apparent to Nadal.

So it's going to be Bautista-Agut vs Basilashvili in the finals.

@Juggy777 - it's too early to say that Federer can't win tournaments, he just had this first comeback tournaments, and as I have said, he is just testing his body. He needs to start slowly and not push himself. Maybe in the next 2-3 tournaments that he will enter, we might see a clearer picture of he still has it or not.
Thiem is clay court specialist. About being the heir to Nadal, It seems very likely but I have seen a lot of underwhelming performances from him. Someone like Medvedev, Rublev, Zverev could give him a lot of trouble.
About Federer, I was discussing it with my friend who was convinced that Federer cant win an ATP 500 and above event anymore and is willing to bet on it. I think he still can, but he needs to work on his stamina.. Lets see, if I take the bet or not Tongue

Edit: Agut should win in straight sets vs Basilashvili.

Checking the odds:

What do you think of the totals though? The over 21.5 looks very attractive, anyone taking bets on this finals? I'm also for Agut to win here.

On the contrary, for me Federer can still make a final push to at least win an ATP 500 this year. He has been carefully choosing tournaments he enter to conserved stamina. I think it's more if his body is going to continue to hold and not break into another injury.
3854  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Charity for Gamblers on: March 13, 2021, 08:36:42 AM
It might sounds strange to encourage gambling through this Charity, but my thinking is to give life and hope to overcome the financial stress which is the major reason behind the depression of gamblers. If someone is found losing $5k on gambling and is in frustration. We can support him financially providing $200. Please putforth your opinions and the right way to help Gamblers financially.
This would have been good, but we need to check the other side of it. Assuming I am gambler, I am addicted, I lost all, I borrowed, and I received a support fund. What do you think I will do with the fund? Most likely I will not yet pay my debt but use all or almost all the funds to gamble. Gambling can be so addicting at times, people need to check themselves, what will be best in this case is to just find ways to advice people to not use money they can not afford to lose to gamble, gambling should be for fun. I am so certain the support funds will be used for gambling, only advice is better for addicts so to correct them to gamble appropriately.
What can be done? From the quote it is clear that the aid provided will also gets wasted on gambling. We can't blame the gambling sites, because to keep the users within their own control different features like setting our own limits, vault and so many things are available. Even after this people losing in gambling is the true difficulty. Something need to be done at the earliest, or else we can see more people like me suffering out of financial depression. I wasn't able to think anything, my mind always thinks of making myself free from debt.

I myself was an addicted gambler before, like 2009-2015 lost big amount of money, then I lost my job 2015, but thank God I have my family who help me out. Of course, there's a lot of struggles, lots of problems, and then the adjustment period. And when I was able to find a job, I don't know, I just quit gambling for good or at least now spending my paycheck after paycheck, like before. I guess it's the lesson that I have learn, that help me overcome it. Everyday I always think that I don't want to get back on that life again. I don't want my family to suffer, all I want is to bring food in the table for them. I still have debts but I continue to pay them every month because that is my goal as well this year, to be completely debt free. Not really sure about others, but If I did it, then others can do it as well.

I also think of taking my life, but nah, it will just give problems to those that I will left in this world.
3855  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which cryptocurrencies will be around in 10 years and why? on: March 12, 2021, 10:32:22 AM
Litecoin, Bitcoin, and possibly xrp.

Litecoin is much faster, cheaper to send, way undervalued, and will become scarce as institutions buy it up. It also is easier to evolve with a collaborating development team and foundation.

Litecoin will still be here as long as Bitcoin is on the crypto sphere. Remember that it acts as a sort of "guinea pig", as the code was fork of bitcoin.

Bitcoin, due to being the first one and recognizable, being used as a store of value as insecurity with fiat increases, etc.

Prime mover, enough said.

XRP because if it is adopted by banks, despite having billions of coins, could become a mainstream tool for banks, etc.

They have one big hurdle in their plate, the case against SEC. If they can win then probably it will grow tremendously. But if they lose, the future is uncertain.
3856  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Manny Pacquiao offered $10 million to fight Terence Crawford on: March 12, 2021, 09:32:32 AM
Any Update when this fight be on table?

No update meaning, chances are slim that we are going to see Pacquaio vs Crawford this year.

It has been month when Manny seems telling people in news that is is crawford is the next opponent but now becomes silent again.

I doubt that it is Manny who's making tweets, probably another person on his team, maybe Gibbons is the one teasing us boxing fans that this fight will happen. But still the final say is with Manny here. If Manny insists on fighting Crawford, then definitely this fight could materialised. And I think the ball right now is with Bob Arum and most probably if there is negotiations, that $40M is out of the table, that's why the fight will not push thorough.
3857  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Most Trending ALTs on: March 12, 2021, 08:49:19 AM
Interesting to see that ADA is not on the list of searches though. The price has spike in the last 3-6 months, reaching a new all time high if I'm not mistaken.

The rest I'm not surprised though, usually dominated by Defi, but I expect that those projects hype will die soon? It's just the nature of it, hype then gradually going down as there might be new projects in the horizon trying to compete, and the cycle continues.
3858  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: March 12, 2021, 08:17:03 AM
Anyone heard this news?

Miami Heat's Meyers Leonard fined $50,000, suspended for week for using anti-Semitic slur.

He forgot that Miami Heat, the team that he plays is own Micky Arison, born in Tel Aviv, LMAO. This is disaster for Leonard, and with that said, I don't think he will be renewed by the team.

What's your take on the Raptors vs Hawks on tonights game? ML is too enticing not to bet on them, it's 2.x above.

Sorry mate, it's a heartbreaking lost to the Raptors, I'm sure you are disappointed seeing that last three point shot.

I agree with the Nets win, good them they beat tonight, and Kyrie providing the spark with that big game. I guess we can say that they have blend it well right now. It's either Harden and Irving really pushing hard for this team to win.
3859  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC/USD Price Analysis - $72,000 will be the first target on: March 11, 2021, 10:55:54 AM
I will not trade on these current level price of Bitcoin.
I am afraid if Bitcoin will make a double top bearish pattern from its previous all-time-high.
But on the other hand, if it will manage to break the previous all-time-high I'll be more bullish, and $70,xxx region is gonna be the next level for Bitcoin. Btw, good spot for the ascending triangle pattern, which is a bullish pattern.

I saw the price reaching $57k, but it was short lived though. It was just the first attempt, and I will assume that there will be another one by the bulls within a week and see if we can break $58,300.

The $52k resistance was broken on the second attempt, and then after that the price goes up. It could make the same pattern again, so $70k is not that far. We are still in mid-March, let's see and hope that the bullish pattern will still build and continue.
3860  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: celsius going list in major ex on: March 11, 2021, 10:08:20 AM
Clickbait title, Lol, but I do agree that Celsius seem to be a good project but under the radar and didn't have the support of the community yet.

And as per their tweet, surpassing $10 billion is no joke, it takes a lot of hard work from them to project. So it is going to be interesting to see what the price movement will be in they are going to be listed on such top exchange, i.e. Binance.
