3841  Economy / Economics / Re: Some Company are holding more than 10000 Bitcoin on: December 30, 2020, 11:49:07 AM
The governments will evaluate the impact of the Bitcoin again, they will more seriously this time. Bitcoin is not prohibited, every individual or organization always concerned about it, governments will adopt more progressive policies.
Let's hope it's progressive and not regressive with time. There are institutions which are going on accumulating bitcoin and they are not waiting for government moves but making sure they have the biggest stakes when the te comes for selling.

The ones suffering are those who have kept small stashes and getting prosecuted for that because their government is not willing to be lenient.

I guess much of the control remains in the hands of bigger financial corps which don't like bitcoin or its abilities.

There are problems with every moneytary methods but things need to taken with a positive attitude.
3842  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading mistakes on: December 30, 2020, 11:16:11 AM
If you will learn nothing from the mistakes and bad decisions?then we must not entering trading because this is very strict and risky.
I think this is a wrong statement. Everybody can learn from mistakes but the time taken for that might be different. Of course trading is not for everyone. But most people can learn with time. Still I understand your skepticism here since many people actually get swayed by miscreants.

While bad decisions can be made they can also be a good deterrent to over confidence and help people get a grip on how to trade. Risk taking becomes an addictive thing over time. But keeping a good mix of risk taking and bank management is important.

Be strict about your trades, true. But being prompt about decision making is what I have felt is also important in this market where price swings happen within minutes.
3843  Economy / Securities / Re: Transaction between community members on: December 29, 2020, 07:53:00 AM
why are some btt users merged to be using multi account up to 10 to 15 account
Making more than one account to access the forum is not forbidden. However using more than one account to do something unscrupulous and being caught for that will lead to DT members giving negative trust ratings and flagging that account to prevent further mishaps.

These include things like but not limited to:
1. Multiple accounts enrolled in a campaign which gives payouts in some form of crypto
2. Using your own account as the escrow to scam the buyer party.

Quote
sometimes i kept surprising and wondering how could one single user have such account and don't you think they are likely to be one community who don't know how to trade or person being a novice.
This is not likely possible. Some scam hunters have uncovered cheaters on campaigns from network analysis and in most cases these are correctly caught.

Quote
don't you think any account find 10 to 20 users linking should be a transaction within community members?
Not sure I understand what you are trying to say here.

Quote
after reading multiple information i became afraid of sharing my token to my fellow community member to assist me trade or help me out because i know one might be penalized if not being extremely careful. i know less about trading most of the trading platform are not user friendly this making me not to trade if i don't move with my system to one of the member who may happen to live within my locality.
As long as you are being honest and not trying to cheat anywhere you are not likely to fall into any problem. Use a reputed escrow to do deals when dealing with low ranking/no prior trust rating users on this forum.

Again, using the exchanges that are available is always a better option. Most of them are pretty user friendly and useful for trading in general. However your local authorities might have different opinion about crypto and that might hinder you actions for KYC verification and so on. But many exchanges also have non-kyc users under a limited budget. I would suggest you to go for those in future. P2P exchanges on the forum are more risky.
3844  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Defi Change the People Prospective? on: December 29, 2020, 07:40:42 AM
Before, DeFi Coins mostly people invest in BTC and Other Alts But after the New Entry of Defi Investors/Traders changed the mind. Is it true after Defi People Changed the Prospective of Investment?
Bullshit. Intelligent investors are the ones who observe more and not jump into things as they appear.

See this sector of crypto and its sidelines are filled with plain scams and scummy projects. In order to make them look legitimate the owners put up different names and caricature to fool newbie investors.

For examples of this is altcoins which never had anything backing them up. Passive income schemes which are plain old ponzis. Then came the ICO/IEO/STO/Blah blah offering etc which also never became too big like bitcoin did except few handful.

These trends run this market and you as an investor have to identify this before you get roped in. DeFi is the current scam going on, plainly speaking. You might have some legit ones out there but rest 99% are worthless.

The best way to be safe about this is by following this statement - Bitcoin is the only thing you need. Rest all are a waste of money. Grin
3845  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: want to invest .. on: December 29, 2020, 07:36:38 AM

After seeing the growth in the price of the coin in the past few weeks, it leaves us confused as to which investment to make. I want to invest in all of the coins. but only a little capital owned. what action am i taking right now?
Slow down there. You are seeing the market now meaning you have not been watching it previously and that is the specific reason why you should not invest right now.

You see the price was low for quite some time and the diligent traders stocked up during that time and are now probably selling some at the bull run. You dont follow the market to do what others are doing - that is called being FOMOed. The ones who make profit are the ones who go the opposite way, that is sell during a bull run and buy during a bear run.

With little capital, I would suggest you to wait it out till bitcoin tanks again. With this rise it is possible for huge drops too. Generally speaking, this is the wrong time to buy.
3846  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty and airdrops at the end of 2020 on: December 29, 2020, 07:33:11 AM
Indeed very true. You are just a jr. member and 2000$ quite smart amount for your rank. Quality does matter and it's proved once again as you have chosen some quality projects. Actually those who invest their time to research deserve good return.
Seriously?

I still go with my previous comments that even as 2020 ends, bounties are no longer worth your time. Airdrops have now become less popular. They all follow the trends as I have been watching from one side - once a certain project declares airdrops, every other project comes out with airdrops making it seem as if airdrops are the next big thing.

That the point in this sector. Other than bitcoin if you need to make your project stand out you have to make up a bullshit reason to start following the trend. Lack of mainstream support might be one of the reasons why this has happened.
3847  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM] Omniunit ponzi scheme! on: December 28, 2020, 10:28:07 AM
Haha here comes the scammer with a very angry mood. lol!
It's not new to see them get angry. After all they are little kids with small brains who only lead these forum account but not the masterminds who actually run the scam.

They talk about law when they have completely no idea how the forum's trust system works.

Ponzis like these are not new but people fall for old tricks more often before than new. Hence tagging and flagging the account is necessary to prevent at least some newbies from getting scammed.

"Professional traders" lol my ass.

Professionalism spewing from their account is a good show how poorly knowledgeable they are.
3848  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Best places for Crypto Traders on: December 28, 2020, 10:21:52 AM
Better to use Twitter and Reddit. You can find quality contents in there.
It means you have either never been to the crypto related topics on these social media or you are one of those users who go there with only one purpose: shilling of shitcoins and propaganda topics.

In case you belong to the first group, please know that only shitcoins and its shills breed in reddit and twitter. Their only job in life is to pump their shitcoins mindlessly and bamboozle some newbies about their initial investment ideas.

Please don't visit these places to get investment ideas. You will be badly misled.
3849  Economy / Gambling / Re: Primedice.com | Creators of Dicing 🎲 | 60+ Billion Bets | 113+ BTC Jackpot! on: December 28, 2020, 10:17:34 AM
Oh, I see.

I think the only way PD can rank high in giveaways/promos like stake is for them to change the name to PrimeGames so that it can also harbour more games and consequently more players and profits.
The only reason Stake and its concept was made was because there was a demand for more games other than dice at one time in the primedice community like slots, roulette and so on. At that time most sites had multiple games and thus keeping PD at par meant something new needed to be done.

Now Stake was the solution thought of by its owners and hence launced. Making the same copy of games on PD was probably never their intention so I don't think that would happen.

However keeping completely seperate games sets for PD and Stake could be another option. Cool
3850  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Btc and alts on: December 27, 2020, 06:43:53 AM
Following the basis of supply and demand, Bitcoin gather much higher attention from the eyes of more investors than alts.
Definitely more attention and hence a more liquid market.

Quote
Many people thinks that market will experienced good rise when Bitcoin start to gained more support but as of this moment that's not the case for most alts, some gained but not everyone get the same level of support. Bitcoin already achieve new ath while the entire alts are still far from their previous ath.
In fact the market is filled with so many altcoins that do basically the same thing, it make no sense in putting money in any of them. What people need is a decentralized censorship resistance currency and bitcoin does that completely.

Why altcoins came into existence is because some greedy developers wanted to reach next to bitcoin and started some vaporware to cash grab some investors into their scheme. Today this seems like real but at that time it was a nice money making opportunity.

It would be better for altcoin hodlers to sell at any highs that come in. Dont wait for crossing the previous ATH, just because bitcoin crossed its ATH - because it might never happen again and dump while you are drooling.
3851  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Altcoins Follow BTC Rally? on: December 27, 2020, 06:39:57 AM
some altcoins follow bitcoin rally, for example litecoin or bitcoin cash. but many of them grow just a little bit. maybe all the inflows come to bitcoin and altcoins are not so interesting for big investors.
Litecoin still has some acceptance and usage over the older bitcoin adopters as "silver" to bitcoin. It has only become bigger in price but nothing breaking out in development. It has attempted to grow big with time though and better than BCH which is a shitcoin promoted by a lying maniac.

So if you are looking to buy any of these buy litecoin but only after buying bitcoin. Stay away from any forked coins like BCH and so on. Whales have never been keeping any interest in shitcoins like them but you can buy at low and sell at 10% gains to get some profits instead of leaving money elsewhere too.

Just make sure you sell these shitcoins at the pump and dont keep on holding them.
3852  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Altcoins Follow BTC Rally? on: December 26, 2020, 08:50:39 AM
Hopefully we will see a repeat of altcoin pumps similar to 2018. But there needs so be a correction in btc first.
No I dont think so and it would be better for your portfolio to sell them if a rise happens instead of holding them any more. Altcoins are a waste of time and space in any investors bag. You will never see an altcoin become second to bitcoin or take over the price to lead the market, despite whatever bullshit that project's owner might feed you as koolaid.

Bitcoin is seeing correction anyway right after it crossed 20k USD this month. However the overall trend is bullish and buying pressure is high. I dont think it will be stopping soon so its better to wait it for till it stops rising and then wait for the next bear trend to start. If you have bitcoin, sell some to build some gains which you can use to buy back at dips.

This is the time to be cautious when trading. Dont go all in/all out.
3853  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you think DeFi season is going to be just like Altcoin season? on: December 26, 2020, 08:18:37 AM
I honestly don't feel the De-Fi season, but if it really has happened, I don't think it's bigger than the altcoins season because altcoins season in 2017 was really huge, it made bitcoin's dominance to dropped, but now bitcoin's dominant is really stable and has increased to 68% compared to 35% + during the 2017 altcoins season.
This would be a good time to sell altcoins if you own any. The recent rise in bitcon price also drove the altcoins upwards but didnt quite sustain their price. Very soon they will drop before bitcoin if bitcoin fails to maintain this pumped price and tanks.

Because a rise of this magnitude is difficult to keep on. Selling pressure builds up and sell orders will go thorough because some fools did buy at 20k in 2017 and they were waiting for this rise in price.

Hence the craze of DeFi currently stopped a bit as people changed focus on bitcoin for now. You can get this idea also from the decrease in the forum threads about DeFi and increase in bitcoin price conspiracy theories/bullshit everywhere. Trust me, nobody really know why the price rose, all speculating. But it cooks up nice profits in leverage trading. Cheesy
3854  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Which project should I invest in? on: December 26, 2020, 08:14:42 AM
Crypto space is now full of repetitive projects, to choose good projects nowadays I go with new use cases and ideas that will work for sure, it's easier to avoid repetitive projects, they introduce nothing new but same old use cases that we've seen countless times already
Now? More like from the start when altcoins came in existence there has never been a project that was completely new. Now I dont expect such a thing to happen out of the blue because almost every market out there is saturated by a mainstream project. However there are competitors appearing in every sector too which means there is room for development and growth. This is definitely not the easiest spaces to conquer but altcoin project owners thought of doing it so DeFi also followed suit.

Like I have said in other threads, there will be no success in a new project unless they can build and inherent demand for the coin. Bitcoin is a unique currency now and reaching it is out of question. Rest all end up as pump and dump or plain scams. Same happening with DeFi too.
3855  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM] Imining - Cloud mining promising 692% yearly profit! on: December 25, 2020, 01:46:15 PM
Seriously speaking though, for idiots out there who dont even know what mining is and have not come across ponzi schemes, this will seem lucrative and they will get roped in by someone who is another nutjob into putting in a couple of hundreds. Fact is that hundred might not seem like large to a single user, but the scammer monopolize on this - hundreds coming from hundred people does end up as a big number.

@Insanerman
Hate to say this, but I have seem similar methods in few other websites and it is a shady thing to do. But those are legitimate businesses too but of course here the context is different.
3856  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and cryptocurrency in the spotlight again! on: December 25, 2020, 01:40:19 PM
Mainstream media, multinational corporations and financial experts are at it again!
No, you are having the wrong perception. Media is covering bitcoin always, specially niche crypto news groups. Rest just follow suit when the price tanks or rises. You cant blame them for attempting to bask in the glory.

Quote
Bitcoin and cryptocurrency is all I seem to be reading about recently again and again in verywhere that I look, cryptocurrency and blockchain technology is obviously in the spotlight again
Then stop reading the news. Roll Eyes

Quote
My questions for bitcoiners and financial advisers: Are you advising your friends and clients to invest in cryptocurrencies or are you even just assisting them to get into the asset class?
Already did that when bitcoin was low priced. Now they are rather warned to not buy. Price being high is the time to sell and not buy. Doing this wrong means going FOMO and putting in more risk.

Quote
Alternatively, are you telling them to avoid the tech maybe due to the potential impact of Covid-19?
Pandemic did not have direct impact in the price in my opinion. But no reason can be fully unearthed here. As far as global markets have shown, dont think it to be a reason to think about.
3857  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty and airdrops at the end of 2020 on: December 25, 2020, 01:36:03 PM
More precisely, if OP works hard, bounty will help him make money in this space. I do not encourage OP to focus all of his time on work, it may be difficult at first, but what will get in return will be fun, even though the global economy is difficult at this time. So never refuse the money you can make even a little that is also bringing you material value.
Even if the "money" that you are being given is a stack of shitcoins with no value?

Many of the projects that gave out big payouts with promises of being second to bitcoin in future are nothing but shitcoins now. They either never got listed or even if they did didnt get enough traction as to go bullish not even crossing the ICO price. What else do you expect from shit-cooked projects on a shady sector?

Rather putting more focus on bitcoin paying campaigns, you have a decent chance at gaining enough money every month to stack up.
3858  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin All time High $23k : What is secret of this High . on: December 24, 2020, 06:24:53 AM
In every crypto market movement, I always look the possibility that there is someone behind it, (of course the whales) They do it to manipulate the market and attract more new comers to invest in cryptocurrency, but we never deny the fact that the holders who are bought in a low price will enjoy the benefits of it.
News do move the market. The pump started with the Paypal news of allowing crypto in the marketplace. Now we know this news was being waited for a long time, almost made people anti-paypal because they never took notice of bitcoin or just plain shoved it under the table.

Whales started pumping it after this news sufaced and now we are seeing the biggest all time high after Q4 2017. Price also seems to remain under 23k USD for now so my next prediction would be the 25k USD mark being realistic.

You never know a dump might happen as well. The selling pressure was high before reaching this mark and it is possible that most sell orders got filled and cleaned.
3859  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: the most important thing in the development of a project? on: December 24, 2020, 06:21:02 AM
You nail the points but most of the projects of nowadays rely mostly on the funds raised through the ICO/IEO for project development and the fear of dumping makes investors think twice before investing. This affects most of this projects and they tend to fails.
Fear of "dumping" is something that is present in every public offering. Even the fiat based IPOs see more than 10% drops in the first week because some people make money by developing a fake demand and selling their stash at inflated prices. Do they care for the future of the project? No.

So most teams managing the economics of such projects are well versed, of course I cant say the same for the crypto niche projects. Many of them are wannabes and less knowledgeable about how speculative markets work. Roll Eyes Then again, 99% of these projects are failures so I cant blame them for choosing poorly experienced people for the team.

Important development of a project is something that must be seen if you want to buy an altcoin,
so you have to be really serious, yes, the roadmap and the team must go well.
Roadmaps are made to be delayed. Did you not see that yet? Teams are meant to be the biggest dumpers and they will abandon the project one day before you know it. You want more reasons why you should not invest in coin offerings?
3860  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: KYC for bounty hunters on: December 24, 2020, 06:17:03 AM
starting from last year almost 80% of the bounty required KYC with this rule made it easier for other people to detect multiple accounts in one kyc, on the other hand not all bounty participants like this rule because they have to fill in personal data on people they don't know
Yeah it is a both a boon and bane at the same time. I am one of the opinion that KYC should not be asked here but the reason why they ask is because the forum allows users to make more than one account and there are people who are cheating campaigns by making more than one and using them to participate in that campaign.

Said project would see a decrease in quality of posts/articles or contribution and a lack of being available to other users who might be willing to participate too because someone used their multiple accounts to block all the seats.

From a bounty participants perspective that is bad.
