Jeff Horn has the experienced here and he is a very tough and rugged fighter, if this goes to full 10 rounds, I will have Horn in the scorecard. Tim needs to set the tone of the fight early, otherwise he will be uncomfortable when Horn smothered here with his dirty tactics.
If we take a look at the boxing record of Jeff Horn, his two losses were via knock-out, so if this goes to the distance it would be on Horn's advantage. Tim Tszyu should study the tape of the Horn vs Crawford fight if he wants to knock-out this dirty fighter  . As long as possible he should avoid the clinching of Horn and if possible fight him in the center of the ring. It's easier said than done but the template on how to beat Horn was shown on his fight versus Crawford. |

Im hoping for him to fight much more popular boxers like The tank or manny pacquiao before retiring. It would be a waste if he just retire like that. Especially when manny is looking for opponents right now, if ever they fight it would go down in history as one of the best top boxers of the world competiting against each other.
Like you said, this fight is easy. So its better to pick fighters at his level.
Loma vs Pacman won't happen IMO because Loma is fighting 3 2 division south of 147lbs which Manny is campaigning and this time in their career i think catch weight is not advisable. Loma vs Davis or Loma vs Garcia would be explosive but Loma needs to focus first on Lopez and not take him for granted. Selling of a team is not new in the PBA, it even happened in the NBA, so let's see who would be interested to by the team, maybe the team would improve under the new owner. I guess the owner was offended and at the same time maybe he is not happy with the team anymore as they have been tanking for many years already, so this timing just happen and I wish there would really interest the team and put their passion to improve Blackwater Elite.
I think now that this is an issue of ego. This is some sort of a counter attack to what sanction PBA might to the team for violating the protocol. The owner issued a statement saying he was bullied but with his actions, i think he is the bully. I think @goinmerry is right, this team owner of Blackwater is arrogant. Selling the team around Php150 million is unbelievable. Do someone in his right mind will buy this team at this much with it's current status? |

This could be the scenario but still anything could happen as i think that Lopez is no pushover but i love to see Loma wins so he could fight Ryan Garcia next . Loma only has a couple of fights before he retires. Lomachenko only has a couple of fights before he retires, not heard him mentioning retirement and he is out here to prove that he is the best boxer ever in the history of boxing and he is collecting belts and he has to maintain this level for the next 3 years before he calls it a day rather than fighting two more fights and expect everyone to consider him the greatest is not that easy and for that he needs to have good rivals and he will get that in higher weight divisions. Before the Campbell fight, he floated that idea of retirement as he don't want to fight at 40 if i'm not mistaken. There's no chance that Lomachenko is going to fight Lopez without an audience unless both fighters are willing to take a serious purse cut. The gate is one of the biggest revenue streams for prize fighters like Loma, and although online streams will likely make up for it somewhat, I doubt it will cover the loss.
But with the statement of Arum posted above that this fight will push through with or without a crowd, that means that the camp of both fighters are fully aware that this fight would generate less money for them. Loma is going to make a mockery of Lopez, but he does still have a punchers chance.

If Fury wins, I doubt that he will retire, he has agreed to fight AJ in the future, with all British heavyweight fight, so that's a lot of money as well. As far as his trilogy with Wilder, Arum being the promoter he is, and with his history of making tons of money, he will wait for the perfect time to make this fight happen with fans, as least 3/4 of their targeted revenue can still be achieved and hit even if we are still in the pandemic.
I think retirement is out of the picture when Fury defeat Wilder in their trilogy because the big event awaits, "The Battle of Britain" . Even if it is very far from happening but many people specially the hard core boxing fans are speculating on this and this fight is not hard to promote considering that AJ would win on his next fight convincingly. Pandemic would be over by then, so audience will be present, means more revenue for the promoter. |

What I'm seeing is, the season will officially end if the spreads meet the numbers you have stated. 5-10 people can almost cover the whole people inside the bubble once they will do a contact tracing.
There is no reason at all to continue the league if more than 5 will be infected inside that tight security and well-hygieneated bubble.
At this point in time, 2 weeks before the resumption of NBA games even 1 case is crucial but with the case of Jukic where he tested negative just one week after the announcement that he had the virus, i think those who tested positive could still make it. Hope that the NBA will strictly implement protocols so that this resumption will go on as plan. |

- Surely, PBA players is living in their luxury life.  That's the kind of job security we all like, PBA players deserved that and thanks for bringing that information as I am not aware of it. Just like a regular employee, when the company is temporarily close for due calamities, they are still entitled to get paid, this is just like a holiday for the PBA players with pay, or like the public teachers who are still paid even at vacation or after the school year. Hopefully all this problem that we are facing now will end soon, though they are paid until December but after that, they might not get a new contract when PBA by that time still cannot resume. With regards to the bolded statement above, i'm sure that it's not all the case is like that. That might be true with government employees that even though their government agency is close, they are still being paid. For private firms, it's the discretion of the company whether to pay or not. With regards to PBA player's contract extension, well they can afford as that is already budgeted i think. |

I think we will not miss Rondo a lot as Lebron is always there, he is playing the PG position now and we know that this man can play even with little rest just to make sure he can contribute all he can for the team to win. Rondo is always vital to the team, but he is very limited now as they have a similar position with the KING JAMES. Thanks, I thought I was the only one who see this whole fight as a setup to make Garcia look good again. And they are also good to make Campbell can pull an upset and outsmart Garcia in the ring. But in my opinion, Campbell doesn't have the right tools, that's why I said this is a cherry pick and easy fight for Garcia. But the odds won't be that attractive for us boxing gamblers.

It's not that easy for all physical sports to resume because the current set up of the NBA is very expensive, and if PBA would follow that, they can, because they are a big and profitable organization but for other league, there's no assurance.
Imagine how expensive to rent a venue where at the same time all the players will also live there just to ensure they will not have contact with outsiders even their families. That would cost millions of pesos and other sports are not that popular, so where would they get their revenue to match the expenses?
At first i thought that the PBA will follow the set-up of NBA in their games resumption but as i have read the article, it's not. It's just like an individual working in a company then go straight back home, for me it's still dangerous. I hope the "every 10 days" testing will help in the safety of all the individuals involved. I understand that they can't emulate the NBA bubble because it's so expensive but i hope they can isolate even the players only in a dormitory with their families for a certain period of time. |

I have seen Garcia's three fights and the last two is devastated he shows himself a complete fighter, he has a good trainer and a great promoter I don't see why Garcia will not achieve greatness but he must hurdle Campbell first, it's going to be a very interesting fight and a great build up for a Gervonta fight or Lomachencko fight, this young man has a great future ahead of him.
This kid is a promising boxer and yes, he has a good trainer but i don't think he has a good promoter in Oscar Dela Hoya. In fact there is a recent spat between the two of them and Garcia wants out of the Golden Boy Promotion if Oscar will not give him money fights soon enough.
