3861  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Civic Coin.. Anyone else jump on? on: September 06, 2017, 01:55:51 AM
Well they ended their ICO and we are not to get some good pumps and dumps, as I don't see any future of this token. Dump when it's high.
3862  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CHINA!!! on: September 06, 2017, 01:53:30 AM
To be real it won't.
The communist party of China is deeply involved into crypotcurrency.
Proof of that is more than 50% of total hashpower in the world coming from China.
You can't hide that large farms from the party unless the party are building them.
3863  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why to dive into ICO? on: September 05, 2017, 09:27:59 AM
Hello, Crypto-People!

When you get involved with an ICO, you want
- to get a status of the important investor, or
- to get discount from the project, or
- to try out your luck? Smiley

Mostly ICO for me is, buy cheap and sell when listed.
Few ICOs are to hold as they can provide better returns on the share.
3864  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [Discussion] Quo vadis, XCN? on: September 05, 2017, 09:26:43 AM
Mining is just a rewarding method for keeping the network alive.
But mining itself is a heavy energy consuming process.
If we can guarantee same(better) privacy and anonymity, mining could be replaced by better technology.
3865  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How many cryptocurrencies should exist? on: September 04, 2017, 02:36:58 PM
I think it's not about the number but about their fields that matters.
We can't compare/consider Bitcoin and Ethereum as competitor.
Similar is the case with tokens.
3866  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: EOS - Asynchronous Smart Contract Platform - (Dan Larimer of Bitshares/Steem) on: September 03, 2017, 10:08:59 PM
Seems like a promising project. There is going to be tough competition in the sidechain technology, yet, early investors would profit anyway.
3867  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The END of ICO's? on: September 03, 2017, 10:01:32 PM

This won't be happening. Countries can take regulations, but this will never help them regulate the ICO structure barely. This will only a fear factor for ICO conducters that's all.

They can create companies in Singapour, Cayman Islands etc. They keep it anyway.

However, to do this one has to first expatriate money from China, US etc to Signapore, Cayman etc.

I too consider ICOs needed to be regulated one way or other. With the growth in the number of ICOs, we started seeing a lot of ponzis.
Ponzi is a risky investment and it's the government who has to take steps to secure it's citizens.

3869  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: do you use analysis when play gambling? on: August 30, 2017, 12:00:43 PM
Mostly I do analyze, but always end up betting with emotions and anger to lead me to losing all my money. stats, analysis, martingale, none matters.
3870  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling. Is It Wrong? on: August 30, 2017, 11:58:40 AM
I guess it is wrong if excessive already.  If its for fun then its for fun but be careful not hooked with it.

Excess of anything is harmful and gambling is no exception. In fact most of the problems associated with gambling arises when they tend to overdo the same things and end up losing a lot. If they dont chase losses and be happy with whatever wins they have then it does not give rise to any problem other than your greed which one can control. After all gambling is not something profitable for the player and one must gamble for fun to be happy and not greedy.

There are many things in our life that are not right. And I can call gambling to be one of them. You know but you can't get away from it.
3871  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Play with your profit or not? on: August 30, 2017, 11:57:24 AM
Of course i play with my profit, especially on some sites like William Hill and planetwin 365 the gain is proportional to the money you bet with !

Even if the gain is increasing according to the amount of money you put in the house edge is still there and you can get unlucky at any point of time and end up going broke. That said you may be able to exploit this and win big as well. But that needs luck and we all lack some good luck. If you are feeling adventurous then you may try it but playing with profit is something I personally dont like.

I generally don't make any withdrawal from a gambling site. As, I end up everything I've deposited and won losing on some other bets.

3873  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Waves wallet on: August 30, 2017, 10:18:45 AM
How does wallet works? I need to send coins from my exchange to wallet address? So, I have coins still online, in my online Waves wallet.

Is possible to save coins on hardware which is not connected to web? For me it's the same if I have coins on exchange or in online wallet. Everything is not safe.
Just download the dekstop wallet and cut off your connection to the internet and that will be a good way for you. Or you can try to get the seed and save your seed in the safe place and you can open your seed anytime and that gives you a possibility to access your wallet.

Saving your seed is compulsory for waves wallet as they can't get your tokens through private keys.
The synchronization between the wallet and the sidechain is said to be totally encrypted so there would not be any risk unless you compromise your seed.
3874  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: August 30, 2017, 10:15:13 AM
now Bangladesh has proved again they are one of the strongest cricket team after beating Australia. before starting this series couple of Bangladeshi players have declared that they are going to win this series but some cricket experts smiled at them.
so now Tamim and Shakib has reached the first step in order to win this test series. hopefully, they will win this series at Chittagong. but Australia will not take this coming match lightly so let's see what will happen.

Bangladesh always have been a dark horse for large teams.
And they have pretty big wins in their home ground like the Asia Cup trophy.
3875  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Forbes thinks Swarm.Fund can bring crypto into the mainstream on: August 30, 2017, 10:03:17 AM
It's obvious nowadays, the people who are holder are the largest backer of a token.
Forbes have for years influenced the stock market and now they are entering the crypto world.
3876  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi is the Founder of Cryptocurrency? on: August 30, 2017, 10:01:31 AM
Cryptocurrency in the meaning of a currency with some cryptogenic nature is as old as history.
Even there are many online/digital tokens, game credits, that can be considered a cryptocurrency.
Satoshi is the nick of the person/group of person that created bitcoin, the first digital token based on blockchain database.
3877  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Overview of smart contract platforms on: August 30, 2017, 06:55:29 AM
There needs to be a comparative study of all sidechain supporting currencies which would make it easier for token creators as well as investor to decide their choice.
3878  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Transaction unconfirmed for 15+ hours. on: August 29, 2017, 05:59:29 AM
Hey there, I have a transaction that is unconfirmed for a very long time now after transferring from CoinExchange to Bittrex. How long will I have to wait for the BTC to get sent back to my CoinExchange address? Do I have to wait for the other transaction to pass first? Mine is the 0.5 BTC one btw.

55beb61e39fb881da85ba7a9e1945966a686c149fc44c7f31dca58d1b6ba642c - Here is the transaction address.

You've got 19 confirmations already and I hate myself for seeing your transaction get confirmed and you only paid 0.0009911 BTC while I paid more but my transaction is not yet confirmed and I guess it is stuck. I do really need those coins already but there's nothing I can do with it but to with it on how miners will confirm it.

0.0009911 fee is big actually for a transaction, i'm surprised that your transaction is still not confirmed but you pay more fee that him. If you transaction still not confirmed until now, you can try txid accelerator to faster the confirmation on your transaction https://pool.viabtc.com/tools/txaccelerator/, just input your txid.

Yeah it's actually big but with my transaction last time I had x5 - x6 transaction than his so mine is bigger with it. And that's why I said that I hate myself for seeing his lower fee to get confirmed but anyway mine got confirmed too after a long journey, it has been paid off.
Honestly the transaction is still high fee    265.71 sat/B and i think there is worst than that i saw someone sending bitcoin before and the fee is 1 sat per byte but its still confirm but the problem there it takes long journey before he receive it..
That is why we have a choice if we really want our transaction to be faster to receive better to use the default fee in bitcoinfees.21.co so that you can't experience of too delayed transaction..

When I'm not in a hurry, I usually place my fees to 150 sat/Byte (on my electrum wallet). It gets the job done between 3-10 hours.

3880  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Creating an altcoin on: August 29, 2017, 05:40:30 AM
It's better to create your platform first with your own investment (lending from banks, people around you).
Just having a blind idea would not work. You should start working for it.
