3861  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Having problems still with solo mining in GUIMiner on: January 10, 2013, 10:57:36 AM
Okay, I've just run into another problem now, I've left the client on overnight and so far I have generated no bitcoins at all and GUIMiner is reading I'm generating around 300khash/s even though I have a 6970 Sad
I would be amazed if you got a block with a sole 6970. The 300khash's definitely something wrong, though.

You're a couple months too late. I still have some remaining, though.. Cry

Dont know how cumsharing site works and what is the profit from it but this site is legit: http://www.bitvisitor.com/
where did you come up with cumsharing?Huh
so does anyone know of a good site for this? Also what is a mBTC=?
Yep, bitvisitor is the bitcoin equivalent to profitsharing. mBTC is mili-btc or 0.001.
ok last question for this topic from me, when using that site i see they don't close windows can i keep more than one open like click on next to earn more or the system will only do one so i should close the other windows?
Not sure, I've never used the site before. You'll either have to test and see or see if anyone else have used it too.

3866  Other / Meta / Re: What is the Written Declaration of Received Documents ? on: January 10, 2013, 05:32:38 AM
It could be anything...

That being said, because it's essentially a pre-announcement, I think that it shouldn't belong there until the company is revealed.
Yep +1. I'm still waiting for a reply from him though - it could be a placeholder for an announcement soon.

Why is it in Important Messages? (where I can't comment on the thread)

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=135643.0

I'm wondering the same thing too.
3869  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: MAJOR SCREW UP - 100 BTC AS FEES (don't do raw tx's when you're tired) on: January 10, 2013, 04:13:57 AM

I won't let me send it (it has already seen it) - 2 confirmations now so too late for that attempt:

Block #333825 (BTC Guild) - is there someone on Bitcointalk that is a contact for them?

Get eleuthria here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=pm;sa=send;u=9119
He's a great guy, and I'm sure he can offer you help.

I'll finish the remaining 30% then. Sorry, finway.

For God's sake, anything concerning the life of another should not be taken lightly. Dank, please think it over and relax - you need your family beside you for the love you speak of.

Kind of puts us all in a quagmire, John. (this is a serious post) If we do nothing and the worse happens, then we all here could be charged with a crime. If we act, and his life is saved, great! If we act, but learn it's a hoax and he's here tomorrow, that wouldn't bode well either.

That said, the best course of action I see is somebody to act and make the call, posting that they've done so. If it turns out to be a hoax, Dank will not be posting here any longer.

Is that fair?
Fair and square. I've experienced a past event somewhat like this, and the girl did do something stupid after all. I'd like just to be on the safe side.

Guys, for what humanity is worth now - stop egging him on.
3874  Other / Off-topic / Re: Tonight, I will die on: January 10, 2013, 03:01:23 AM
We'll need to start calling the police again to prevent dank from suiciding or doing any silly shit. Anyone knows his address?

fgervaise received a PM which supposedly included his phone number and that of one of his friends.  He's given ID to a couple of his lenders in the past (fuck knows if it's really his ID), I believe senbonzakura was one of them.

Presumably, if you call the Raleigh police department and give them the information dank's posted about events involving police and the dates they happened, they might be able to work out where his parents live.  He says his name is Sean Martin and that he turned 19 a few days ago so if he's been arrested (which he says he has) previously there should be an address on record for him/his parents.
Yawn. We should get someone to check on him, to say the least. I don't want any Bitcoin-related suicides, even though it's just for the sake of another deranged human.

I'll claim the Simplified Chinese Translation bounty.   https://github.com/blockchain/Blockchain-Translations/pull/19

*facepalm* I thought I was the only one working at it, as piuk said?
Now I'm 70% through and wasted the time on it... Undecided

No.
3878  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How Can I Specify Which Input Addresses? on: January 09, 2013, 04:10:10 PM
. . .
this is not supported by the Qt client (as of today).

However, the following clients do support this feature (each with their own way):

Electrum (see the Prioritize context menu in the receive tab)
Armory
Blockchain.info

Or, depending on your skills, I suppose you can create a raw transaction and paste it into the [ Help->Debug window->Console ] in Bitcoin-Qt.
+1. Use createrawtransaction, signrawtransaction, and pushrawtransaction. A huge hassle though - I learnt this the hard way a couple days ago.  Wink

PS: You could hold a ritual against anyone - we're not stopping that. Why don't you curse him too?

Muddy waters is also an effect of my coven curse.
