Yeah, activity points not only increased because your activity points will decrease by 14 points every 116 years.
That's not what 'lose out' was supposed to mean.
Rather (as suchmoon pointed out), since every activity period is not exactly 14 days long, but a little bit longer (+ 6 minutes, 40 seconds), you just don't gain that 14 activity.
However, that would not lead to your activity decreasing, but leads to the start of the new activity period slowly shifting further back.

Ofc, there are reasons of activity decreasing, e.g. when you (or someone else) delete all your posts in one period.
Or for potential activity accounts (as pointed out above), when their post count (because of a deleted post) falls under their activity.

Besides there is a chance we might be using the new forum software in 116 years... not so sure about that one though.
Oh, dream on.
3862  Other / Meta / Re: About the whitelist on: April 05, 2016, 10:04:55 PM
No, I just want to upgrade my rank with posts, not with activity.
That's not what whitelisting is for or how it works.
Besides, you have to provide a (damn) good reason for being whitelisted anyway.

If you want to "rank up", there's no need for being whitelisted.
Do it as everyone else does it, over time and with the limits everyone got when they were newbies.

Bitcointalk Escrows - Trade Safely!
3865  Economy / Exchanges / Re: E-coin deposit still pending after 4 days. on: April 04, 2016, 09:04:40 AM
I just thought since he was not buying or selling a service, the META would be a better fit
I would be as wrong as this section, maybe even more misfit.

I know e-coin runs a sig campaign in the bitcointalk forum.
Not for ages. The last round closed in December.

So I figured he/she would get help faster there is all.
It's not about "getting help faster", but rather about posting in the right section, which meta certainly wouldn't be.
3866  Economy / Exchanges / Re: E-coin deposit still pending after 4 days. on: April 04, 2016, 08:55:09 AM
I think you need to post this in the META section, not services.
How exactly is a problem with the service e-coin related to the forum (that's what the meta section is for, discussions about the forum itself in general)?
Service discussion however would be a better fitting section.

None here will be abled to help you much,
you've contacted their support already, best thing you can do now is waiting for them to get back at you.
3867  Economy / Services / Re: BitSupra Signature Campaign on: April 04, 2016, 12:56:00 AM
I thought negative-trusted players aren't allowed to join the campaign? Or are you just wearing the signature because bitsupra is a good website? If so, good on you!
The negative trust rule is probably only regarding feedback from DT1 and DT2,
and since leonwonderful got negative feedback from whywefight (who is only on DT3), it doesn't apply here.
(The reason you see it should be your custom trust settings).
3868  Economy / Services / Re: Signature Design Competition for WWW.GAMEBET.GG on: April 03, 2016, 09:57:56 PM
I'm glad that was clear and understandable. I can't think of anyone better than admin of the site and dev of GBT to escrow such a small amount of coin. Participants can rest assured they will be paid by someone who has a entire project at stake. Thanks for your concern.
That's not how escrowing works, an escrow is supposed to be a trusted third party.
If you don't want to escrow funds, just say so, and say that the payment will be made by your project leader, don't call him escrow, when he is none.
3869  Economy / Services / Re: Signature Design Competition for WWW.GAMEBET.GG on: April 03, 2016, 09:38:23 PM
DailyModo will be escrow for this competition.

I can attest that this thread is for our project. Thank you gamerfan for taking this on.
So your escrow will be someone who is involved with the project aswell and wasn't trusted with a bigger size of coins yet?
3870  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [Is this okay?] Post Scheduler on: April 03, 2016, 09:16:16 PM
Would it be okay if I made a program (and sell it here) which would enable you to schedule posts?
There's a topic for a bot, which automatically bumps your (marketplace) topic, once 24h have passed.

However, the sort of bot you offered, used for farming payments from signature campaigns, certainly is not ok at all.
3871  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🌟2016's Best Bitcoin Gambling Site Award!🌟 on: April 03, 2016, 07:16:18 PM
Most prominent signatures in the poll, happy? Unreal...
YoBit is in the poll...

Can you explain for me why Germans need to have every aspect nailed down or they nit pick it?
Having prejudices, are we?
3872  Economy / Gambling / Re: List of BTC gambling sites with faucets (9) on: April 03, 2016, 06:20:05 PM
999dice is a well known scam, be aware and throw your money if you like.
Did you just bump a 2 year old thread for the sake of your signature?

Have fun reaching OP.

I think you need to visit investor based section there are lots of sites that you can choose to invest to.
That's the best way to lose all your bitcoins in the blink of an eye.

No shocker so far the two most prominent signatures are winning the votes, this just shows how unbiased the voting will be.

3878  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Bitcointalk Account price estimator on: April 03, 2016, 02:06:09 PM
Thanks. Looks like its because of the 26 extra potential activity. The price estimate is only very rough though, not sure if it can be fixed while staying this simple

Code:
bp (base price) = 0.0003 * activity + 0.00015 * epa
final price = bp * pqm * tm

pqm (post quality multiplier) determined by ratio of good posts (>75 characters excluding quoted text) to bad posts (<75 characters excluding quotes)
very poor (<50%) = -1.05 (-5%)

(0.0003*2+0.00015*26)*0.95= 0.004275

As shorena said, the estimate is both very rough and kept simple.
It might bring up too high numbers for newbies, however we don't see newbie accounts sold/bought often anyway,
and for higher ranked users (besides all prices being a little higher than what you can expect to get) it's pretty fine IMO.
