Here are all the transactions between OgNastys known addresses wallet and Pirateats starting on 4/10/12. It's a filtered list. Only when Og sends or receives from a known Pirateat address from April 2012 and later. (There were a few small ones from earlier in the year for less than BTC2 each, but pass-through didn't start till April, so they don't matter.)

General Election: Trump vs. Biden: Biden 51, Trump 42 General Election: Trump vs. Sanders: Sanders 51, Trump 43 General Election: Trump vs. Warren: Warren 50, Trump 43 General Election: Trump vs. Buttigieg: Buttigieg 48, Trump 43 General Election: Trump vs. Bloomberg: Bloomberg 48, Trump 42 General Election: Trump vs. Klobuchar: Klobuchar 47, Trump 43 https://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/latest_polls/general_election/It's a bad bet going on Trump for 1:1. You should have done better odds. The democratic nominee isn't even announced yet and and Amy Klobuchar, a candidate polling at less than 1 in democratic primaries percent beats Trump by 4 points. Like we haven't heard that before.. Most of the polls conducted for the 2016 election were within the statistical margin of error, so it's not like the polls were necessarily wrong. Also, Trump won by a total of ~50k in a handful of battleground states. Something that would happen in about 8 out of 100 election cycles, per the 92 percent chance of Clinton winning. I'd prefer Trump over any democratic the DNC will put up but let's not act like Trump isn't in a whole lot of trouble here. If you're counting on a replication of what happened in 2016 where Trump's margin of victory will be the totality of 50k votes across 3 states, I got a bridge to sell you. With the economic numbers Trump is putting up right now, he should be up 10 points against any democratic candidate and his approval rating shouldn't be down 10 points. Yeah. Eddie is also confusing polls with models. A poll doesn't spit out the odds of each candidate to win the electoral college. It just tells you what people responded to the poll, and then some simple math gives you the margin of error. There's a weird 'fuck the polls' mentality among some Trump supporters, which, I assume stems from Trump actually taking a negative poll as a personal insult from the people that conducted the poll....which seems insane to me. These polling companies conduct thousands of polls a year. You can look up their records, if they have consistent outliers they lose funding.

Things were different back then
What does that mean? It means this community was young and still developing without established norms and copious amount of FUD, and for people to point back with perfect hindsight and pretend everything was crystal clear is absolute horse shit. TECSHARE either isn't aware of what's actually going on in this thread, or he's actively trying to protect OgN by making it seem like he's "only" being accused of getting involved with a big ponzi scheme. Analogy: John goes to a party with some friends. Lots of drugs at party. Party gets robbed. John stands between robber and his friends to protect them! Robber makes off with ~$1.5 million in cash. John and his friends go home broke and sad, but they are glad John protected him. 7 years later evidence is found that shows John stealing $15k from his friends while they think John is protecting them from the robber. TECSHARE is Johns friend now though, so he defends him. TECSHARE: "We didn't know those drugs were bad and illegal! Things were different back then! Leave John alone! WITCH HUNT!!!!"

I think the relevant point here, is there is nothing here to make fun of Trump about
Except that he said Americans have to flush the toilet 10-15 times a day. Except that that is factually true, with the fraction of toilets installed that really don't work on the low flow standard. Please consider that a guy running huge hotel chain would actually know stuff like this. Really? It's factually True because Trump said it or because there is some sort of statistical evidence? All the data I can find says the number is 4-8 times a day. Don't be ridiculous. Those rules passed by Al Gore were essentially pushing beta testing of low flow devices on the American people. A lot of junk was sold and had to be replaced, and a lot of it is still out there. The law was simply a restriction in water flow per flush. There was NO requirement the devices had to work to a standard of quality. I just don't think 'I heard people have to flush the toilets 10-15 times a day', or anything else he said about it is really relevant. A decision like that should be based on data and the opinions of environmental scientists. What are the pros, what are the cons. These aren't the kind of things you can just figure out on your own. I did a little research and this doesn't really seem to have been an issue until recently. A lot of contractor and plumbing blogs praising the latest version. Definitely didn't see any trend of outrage over having to flush the toilet a lot, as long as I filtered out the past few days. It's typical of progressive liberalism they want to get their ideas into your life. They want to control the individual, every aspect of his life.
I think the relevant point here, is there is nothing here to make fun of Trump about, rather you could make fun of the ridiculous crap devices forced on the American public by Al Gore, and the legislation that he pushed.
The low flow toilet regulations are from The Energy Policy Act of 1992. Bush was president, and it had bipartisan support in both house and Senate. Passed the House on May 27, 1992 (381-37) Passed the Senate on July 30, 1992 (93-3 ) I think 'being green' didn't used to be nearly as partisan as it is today. NO, OF COURSE THaT WOULD NOT BE RELEVANT TO A THReAD ENTITLED... Re: Trump has declared war on water saving toilets and it’s hilarious (15 times) ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Relevant to the thread. Not relevant when considering federal regulations. I just think water conservation is a pretty complicated subject - the kind of thing society should turn to data, collected by environmental scientists, when making a decision like this. Has your opinion on anything changed at all after realizing it was Bush and nearly every member of Congress that signed the 92 EPA Energy act (with the toilet regulations), and not some liberal assault on our rights by Gore and Clinton?

I'm not reading more than the first page, I liked the seats and I thought the profits will be invested towards mining till it simply stops doing it for any reason, besides that being all my insight I claim lauda tman and the group are themselves a bully group that abuse the trust rating system and their influence so would have no say in that context against ognasty. Ofcourse If their claims deemed true, but I still don't see it as a sustainable mining operation at long term and everyone should be aware that it would cease in a moment and should be happy with what they get, the mining competency is too damn huge. The seats are a fun investment but obviously not serious and not something to do big deal about since one knows what one is getting in. Edit: I'm not sure what I am reading on this last page of the thread but, 2012? what was btc worth by then? Wasn't he supposedly buying the miners for the operation or it didn't happen yet? I should shut up here but i enjoy writting and disagreeing with the subjects mentioned up.
This post and this post will catch you up. Not directly related to Nasty Fans though.

Things were different back then, and if you want to condemn everyone involved with shady dealings in any way, maybe you want to start picking thru Theymo's turds too since he ran BFL ads on the forum.
If Pirateat paid OG his balance in August, and then OG just kept the money and told investors Pirate scammed him, you think that would be ok because things were different back then? I don't. If you just string together a bunch of allegations, suspicions, and speculation carefully crafted to insinuate guilt while providing no actual evidence to give yourself an out to claim you were just "scambusting" and not targeting a user for personal reasons, do you think that would be ok? I don't. No, I definitely don't think that would be ok.

What I wasn't aware of was OgNasty's involvement in it.
I insured user deposits so they didn't lose all their money when BS&T went belly up. Everyone was happy that was involved. I had no insider information or special relationship with pirate. This necro-bump is the result of another wave of trolling me with lies as payback for my outing Vod's recent behavior. It probably should be deleted by mods, but who am I to try and stop the endless forum drama that has made this place such an entertaining soap opera. The 'insurance' you keep mentioning was somewhere around BTC60- BTC80 you set aside for more than BTC2,600 invested. It was nothing more than a marketing gimmick for you to milk before, during and for the last 7 years anytime your mentioned being involved with a ponzi. It didn't make you a scammer though, imo, and I've always made that clear. The court document I stumbled on last week, looking at transactions from your wallet during the time frame, and the fact that you posted detailed logs of prompt payments on the first or second of every month from April - July, but nothing for August, and you attack whoever asks about it, makes me pretty sure you stole between BTC400 and BTC1400 from 2-5 investors in August of 2012, and then payed out the paltry reserve on Sept 1. (I won't make any more posts about it in this thread, if anyone is interested in helping to dig through some 2012 bitcoin txs come on over to the thread or pm me, start with this post if you're not caught up) Side Note: Pretty ironic I have to keep telling people to go read the transcript and they keep saying WitchHunt! and calling me names without addressing any of the actual issues lol

Crazy bet my friend suchmoon, I remember when casinos offer x5 if trump wins the elections, in that moment i place a bet and people were crazy saying i was wating my money. But it has a happy end. The problem with this bet is the odds, as you can see in nitro if donal trumps win the house pays x2.125 https://nitrogensports.eu/sport/specials/u.s.-presidential-electionThis way if eddie13 places a bet on that site he could warrants a win. If trump wins he get 0.0125 and if trump loses he gets zero but he doesn't lose the risked 0.1 You've got it backwards. (I think) Nitrogen is offering 2.125x (+115) On Trump Eddie took 2.0x with Suchmoon (+100) On Trump

I don't.

the 1000 traces to being paid to investors . I did not check the 68.8 or the 38 It looks like he kept over BTC300 of it. ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.gyazo.com%2Ff4657310b04ccb84cbf5166267d34fd5.png&t=663&c=5j8Q0zvJ_zwa5g) Shouldn't the 99f address be part of his wallet? I'm not quite sure what happened at 16:11:44. C) pirate may have misstated he fully paid Ognasty during statements quoted in the thread.
Yeah, this would have to be true for Og to be innocent.

How is this guy not in jail yet ?
Tbh it's not that simple. We don't even know 100% for certain what really happened (even though we have strong indications); all we have from his side, so far, is a reply that he lost his BTC with BS&T, like anyone else, too. But no information about what happened to users' BTC. So, if there's that little public information out there, I don't see how anyone would go to jail for that. Also, it's not like prosecuting authorities get to know about such cases and just throw people right into jail. Such events usually precede a conduction of criminal investigation and then, they will decide 1) if the material is enough to prove if someone's even guilty and 2) what kind of punishment is chosen. It's not like every egg thief (or even worse) goes right into jail, even though this seems to be a pretty common expectation among users in Cryptoland. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Also: - It really wasn't enough money to warrant the feds getting involved (I'm guessing OG made $8k-$15k, I think Pirateat got 18 months for $1.5 million) - Anyone who sent OG their money had it stolen assume the guy who stole it went to prison for it.
Did a little more blockchain digging. Between April 10 and August 17 Og sent BTC12351.01614 to Pireateat. BTC5673.310835 were received. I need to go through and look at all the transactions during the time period to and from Ogs wallet though. These are just Og <==> Pirateat transactions.

Trump is currently favored to win the election, but the specific odds reflect that he will lose. Based on the above, suchmoon could take this bet payout out even money, and bet on Trump to win the election on a reputable gambling site, and profit regardless of who wins the election, provided both counter-parties pay out. If Trump to win at +125 is accurate it means Suchmoon will win the bet 55.6 % of the time and the BTC0.1 is now worth BTC0.125 I've seen it bouncing around from +110 - +130 on a few other offshore books. Congrats Suchmoon! Although, in politics the books just set the prices based on where the money is going, so it's much less of an indicator than any professional sporting event where they analyze huge amounts of data. Also, most of the money is probably coming from non-US residents. I had to use a vpn just to access that site.

This is all great and everything, but at this point I think this bet should have its own thread.
I don't mind them keeping this thread in view. I want to see the votes continue to roll in. I like the idea of people putting their coins with their mouth is on the subject too. It's refreshing when actual blockchain activity results from a thread here. Keeping the thread on topic by it having its own thread doesn't stop any of those things. Calm down. They were making a bet was on whether or not Trump will be elected to a second term, which is the topic of this thread.

He had a court hearing last monday. They decided there's enough evidence to charge him, but the judge is going to let him out on bail, so he should be out in a few days - although we surely won't learn anything from him for a very long time. His lawyer, same lawyer that Charlie Sherm and MalwareTech used, made a statement: "We are very pleased that today the judge found that Virgil should be released from jail pending trial. We dispute the untested allegations in the criminal complaint. Virgil looks forward to his day in court, when the full story can come out." They also unsealed the complaint. The talk was called "Blockchain and Peace." and during it he "began formulating plans to facilitate the exchange of Cryptocurrency-1 between the DPRK and South Korea," Also, in May (a month before he was arrested, he voluntarily met with the FBI, without a lawyer, and told them everything. His friend said he left the meeting under the impression everything was cool: https://twitter.com/emmangoldstein/status/1200516493823430657Going to the FBI without a lawyer was probably an even worse decision than going to North Korea. https://www.nytimes.com/2019/12/02/nyregion/north-korea-virgil-griffin-cyptocurrency-arrest.htmlhttps://www.coindesk.com/ethereum-developer-virgil-griffith-to-be-released-from-jail-pending-trialIt's seems like he may have had good intentions and just didn't realize the possible consequences of what he was doing.

When Bitcoin Savings & Loan disappeared, I lost my funds along with everyone else. I had no special relationship with pirate. I was trying to protect users from losing everything if he disappeared, which I did successfully and everyone I interacted with was satisfied.
I'm glad you're willing to address this. How many BTC did your investors lose when they disappeared? Any theories on why you were one of the eight people Pirate told the feds he paid out in full at the time of the shut down in August 2012? Do you remember if this is the last transaction you ever received from Pirateat? (August 2, 2012)
