3861  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Announcement] Avalon ASIC Development Status [Batch #1] on: January 14, 2013, 10:20:43 AM
I also noticed in my order 200000504:

That my address was doubled in the registration. I corrected it in my account settings but do not know if you guys will process them from the website or some kind of paper work that was generated a while back. Please check on this and let me know if the address line isn't doubled in the paperwork for shipping.

Good luck on being the first to release!
3862  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Announcement] Avalon ASIC Development Status [Batch #1] on: January 14, 2013, 10:14:32 AM

I used to send scanned documents to pay warrants 200,000,846.
Status of the order has not changed, the letters from the scans or who did not reply, sent to the address: info@avalon-asic.com, yifu.guo @ avalon-asic.com

Order #    Date    Ship To    Order Total    Status
200000846    11/24/12    ---------   $8,159.94    Pending Wire    View Order

The wire came in on the 11th of this month, a month plus late... I'm aware of this order, but due to it's nature being two wire transfers it did not complete automatically. This matter will be addressed.
@ Yifu

Could you add --> info@avalon-asic.com, yifu.guo @ avalon-asic.com <--- these contact addresses to your signature?

It would make it easier to know who and how to contact.

-----------------------

Second, I know you aren't going to look at a gift horse in the mouth. But why is this guys wire so damn late? This month it was recieved?

Are you sure he didn't make a "ghost order" and then paid for it after all the ASIC drama was said and done? I thought there was a definite time limit to wire transfers being accepted?

You should look into this issue as there are probably folks right now who are going to send in wire transfers this late and claim order numbers which they never actually intended to pay for before the deadline in early October 2012.

If you don't look into it you might find out you'll get more than 300 orders to fulfill.

You amuse easily, like a circus monkey.

Turns out I must apologize. The Box of Fans isn't a Box of Fans at all as this new picture shows

It's a box of fans and space(rs).

He won't actually answer the questions being asked.

People have asked (myself included) when the re spins occurred and when each batch was scheduled and finally tested.

It would really frame what the issues actually were and what each delay was actually about and what they knew...when they knew it.

This is the problem that Josh doesn't see. The fact that the update has to be so complex and in-depth is a HUGE sign that they are either not going to deliver for a very long time and knew this in advance or they are scrambling because they got scammed by say the FAB etc.

Updates don't need much thought, unless you are trying/needing to convince people to "HANG ON JUST A LITTLE LONGER".  Cheesy
Bingo! You hit the nail on the head like a tomahawk missile.

If BFL becomes the next bASIC they might as well run for Mexico or Cuba.

What do you say in moments like that? I really don't know what one could possible say. It is a bad situation no matter how much you type or say.

Honestly, I almost feel sorry for BFL.

I just wish Avalon would say something positive at the same time they (BFL) releases bad news.
3866  Bitcoin / Hardware / [Archive] BFL trolling museum on: January 14, 2013, 01:38:51 AM

Just like your head.  Of course, you're incapable of reading "Discussion thread" tacked on the end there, but let's not quibble about details, shall we?  I needed a link to the discussion thread to put in the update.  I can't very well do that without having the thread now can I?  Once again, you show what an incredible idiot you are.

After you survive your customers....we will discuss that. LOL

I know right? How long does it take to write an update?

Let me guess he is having the Management of BFL roof read it and make sure that all the lies and excuses are well strung together as to maximize stringing along BFL customers and allow for more customer preorders to take place until the next update (in 30 days).
Or, he did as his customers asked and took out all the bashing of other vendors....then there was nothing left but what you see..?

An update that is...empty....

Inaba,

According to a couple of your posts in the BFL forums, there was going to be some kind of announcement from BFL, either today or tomorrow which should add some clarity to the current situation. Is this still true?

Thanks!

Yep, I've been working on it this afternoon.  It's almost done and will be posted soon.  I've tried to answer all the questions that have been asked so far and I don't think I've missed anything.

Please do, I am already bored.

You know the feeling when a episode ends with a cliffhanger, that's the one. I am always available for suggestion on how to archive the maximal possible dramatization.
Some free pointers: Make sure to mention bASIC and the Chinese.
<Cue BGM music>
Next time on "BFL: Undercover"

Narrator: "Josh is caught with his pants between his ankles. There was a video released of him berating a potential customer about his "box with fans".

<Cue video clip>

Narrator: Now he has to write up <cue of pic of Inaba looking stressed> a letter addressed to his customers about his company and its future in Bitcoin. <Insert dramatic sound effect here>.

Narrator: Tom has gone missing and some suspect he is AWOL or in Mexico.

<Cue picture of Tom in distress>
<hold for 10 seconds>
<Cue picture of Inaba looking confident>

Narrator: Now Inaba must find the right words to describe his healthy future with BFL. Will fate deal him a deadly blow or will he find the words that suit the bad news? Stay tuned as we find out.

<Cue intro for BFL:Undercover>

Don't listen to the angry trolls here, please keep us updated as much as possible Inaba! This is good.
I just hope you are real and not scammers.
Your two sentence post by supporting Inaba against "trolls"...but ended it by posting something "trollish".

I am confused as to what you think trolls are and why you are doing it yourself?
3871  Bitcoin / Hardware / [Archive] BFL trolling museum on: January 13, 2013, 11:36:40 PM
Were they even penalized for the last 5 or so delays?

One post by Josh on BFL forums makes it sound like they are not going to raise their hashrate now that bASIC is toast.
3872  Bitcoin / Hardware / [Archive] BFL trolling museum on: January 13, 2013, 11:32:09 PM
What is the point of "hard dates" without a penalty for missing it?
3873  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: bad news for bASIC - not shipping til mid Jan at best on: January 13, 2013, 08:52:23 PM
You can think whatever you want.
Thanks, I will.
I really dont have to explain myself.
That's true, you don't.
Good luck with your scammer buddy Tom.
Thanks, good luck with your super duper 100% guaranteed fund.

Looks like you will be able to pay your buddy Tom a visit in Jail now.

1. The chances of Tom ending up in jail over a failed BTC venture when outright scammers like Pirate, Hashking, Andrew Nolan, BTC Guy, etc etc haven't been prosecuted.
2. Tom is not my buddy, I'm a former customer of his. I just disprove of morons and scammers, of which I believe you are one.

Tom took credit cards for payment if those do not get refunded under US law that is wire fraud a federal crime that is frowned upon, BTC they don't give a tinkers damn about it...
[Serious Question:

Will Visa and Mastercard actually pay out all those huge sums of money for each individual customer?

If the merchant account is dry then I can only assume they will have to pick up the tab.
3874  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Maybe everyone here will learn a lesson about pre-orders on: January 13, 2013, 08:49:52 PM
private venture capital = Bitcoin community.
Ummm no? The announcement was posted before they started taking pre-orders, so that cant' be right. Try again.
You don't have anything but someones word that they actually had any VC.

Now I am not posting that as anything more than a joke. But that is what it comes down to.

You'll get your hard date as soon as you provide evidence of a working product.  So there's your answer.  Provide a working product today and I will give you a hard date, today.

So following that logic, I can expect shipping hard date on the 20th?

Absolutely. I might even give it to you before that, too.  Cause I'm just a nice guy like that.

20th?
of this month?

even kano and yochdog haven't been flown in yet.

lol.

i guess people will be shipped out empty boxes with fans and spacers.
asic devices later on, 3-4 months later.
BFL will no doubt send a bullet train to gather them up.

Oops.

LMAO!

Inaba doesnt have much of a choice does he?

As soon as Avalon pictures crop up of the devices in actual customers hands, BFL will start to panic as people berate them for answers. Then go right to checkout. The cruelest thing will be when Avalon opens their next batch. I suspect with bASIC (unfortunately) gone and BFL delaying with another "ball of smoke" the banter will be coming from BFL customers and not from Inaba.

I am pretty sure he will be as quiet as a mouse...and sketchy on solid details.

Wasn't he dead sure of October?
What about November (2 times)?
What about December?
Then Mid January?
What date on the 14th? I never said that nor implied it!? --Inaba paraphrased
3877  Bitcoin / Hardware / [Archive] BFL trolling museum on: January 13, 2013, 08:11:05 PM
What did I just read?  Shocked

Seems to me, if you had a working test product, you'd have shown it by now, but maybe not.  Seems silly, though... if you wanted to be the first, you would show your working prototype, that would qualify you as first at this point.  What possible reason could you have for not showing a working unit 6 days before you are scheduled to ship?

I don't care.  You are here, in the BFL thread trolling and you won't even demo a working product 5 days before you are shipping.  Seems like a crazy way go about things, but whatever man.

Like I said, if you're delayed, your project is dead and I believe you know this.  I hope you aren't rushing things just to be first and shipping a brick in a box that fails to perform or breaks in a month.

"And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?"

Jesus quoted words just put Inaba in his place.

Moving beyond that, Inaba isn't even following his own critical views.

------------------

He hasn't shown any proof of concept, he also isn't displaying working prototypes either. What he does have on hand are boxes of parts. What a great accomplishment?

Then he has the cojones to talk to a competitor about a delay "killing them" right before he announces like the 3rd or 4th delay in a row.

Christs words apply wonderfully in this situation.

Nice taking things out of context again PuertoLibre, you really are a skilled liar.  The 4 - 6 weeks comment was for ALL preorders to be shipped and done.  And I didn't even say it!  It's like, literally in the text you screen captured and you can't even read it. Idiot.

Can you stop replying to that guy please?
It would make my ignore on him more effective.
kthnx.

I admit, I cannot:

Get serious sums of cash and keep people separated from it for months on end. No, perhaps for a half year or more.

To do that it takes serious skill that I cannot muster. I am inferior to you my king of lies. (just kidding)

I am thinking of converting into an Inaba. I might just have to bump heads or something so I can become a shill. I will even say it in thee most sarcastic ways humanly possible.

<Cough Cough>

----------------

I have known Inaba for all of 3 months. I have never found that man to lie. He is a saint. His customers are just terrible at reading! You see, they confuse easily.

Surely this man has been more forthcoming than any Vendor!

I will now change my avatar to an BFL one. For I loathe those "Avalon" guys who take the glory and wind out of Inabas sails. How dare they even bother to ship ahead of schedule? People like that should know that none can be first to market except for BFL.

Nay, they are all scammers! They are going to rob you blind. Get your refunds immediately.
