3881  Economy / Speculation / Re: ARE WE STILL BULLISH OR BEARISH ? on: February 28, 2021, 11:32:29 AM
Bullish for long-term: In an interview with CNN, Minerd said, "If you look at the supply of Bitcoin in relation to the supply of gold in the world and the total value of gold, you would be talking from $ 400,000 to $ 600,000 per Bitcoin if Bitcoin hit such numbers".

In March 2020, the Bitcoin price dropped to a low of 3,956 US dollars during the Corona crisis. Since then, however, has increased significantly. The recovery picked up speed especially from autumn 2020, when PayPal announced that it would enable buying, selling and payments with Bitcoin. In December, Bitcoin cracked its previous record high from 2017, at the beginning of January it passed the 30,000 dollar hurdle and rose to more than 40,000 US dollars during the month. After a temporary decline, the popular cryptocurrency surged to more than $ 55,000 in February, to an all-time high of $ 58,313. That shows me that we have to be patient and trust in Bitcoin over the long term. In the short term it will always go up and down

Here I can share my view on some topics and read what others have to say.

Here you are among like-minded people. we have similar interests and we want to live with bitcoin. If I write something here, I am sure that someone will understand. In real life you tend to feel aversion or not be understood. I also like a certain amount of discretion. The style of the forum can stay the same, i like it old school.

3885  Economy / Speculation / Re: btc dump today and yesterday on: February 27, 2021, 10:40:17 AM
I think there were seven 14-35% "dips" before the final crash in 2017.
Here is an image of the 2017 Bitcoin bubble before reaching the top.
Probably it will be something like this again in 2021. Time will tell.
https://ibb.co/q9vmnsZ

here the picture in direct view. and yes, these charts are currently very strong across all media. somehow we are no longer impressed by the drops and are seeing even higher prices at the moment. So trust in bitcoin is stronger than ever. a strong bullish sign.

i hear that many see the months of february and march as a correction. partly i think so, but we should include the development of corona and when the easing starts, i see an upswing here.

3887  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: who controls the bitcoin price? on: February 27, 2021, 08:49:33 AM
well, i been thinking for a while about who actually controls the bitcoin price.
among the following below, which one do you think has the major influence regarding the bitcoin price?

i. bitcoin whales
ii. the banks
iii. wall street
iv. hedge funds
v. crypto exchanges
vi. crypto influencers

if there is a sharp decline in the share price, the news "whale sells xxx bitcoin" comes shortly afterwards, or in the event of a sharp rise you often hear "companies or institutional investors have bought xxx bitcoin". the two groups will have a certain power, but I strongly suspect that the exchanges / stock markets have greater power. similar to eibe bank in real life. If you look at the btc wallets, you can see the size of stocks on many exchanges. an interplay between i. and v. and maybe also iv.

I want to add something.

Big investors are also driving the price up. Analysts of large banks and funds tell Bloomberg that they assume that these investors have already met several times to push the price up. This is legal as long as they don't, for example, spread rumors online that encourage others to buy or sell. That would then also count as fraud with Bitcoins. Coordinated buying and selling are fine with currencies - and as such, Bitcoin is legally treated. That puts the few major investors in a comfortable position. If you drive the price up in a coordinated manner, you will grow your wealth quickly. In the past three months alone, the exchange rate has almost quadrupled against the dollar.
3888  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin crashed below $48K, is the bull market in danger? on: February 27, 2021, 08:42:20 AM
Very interesting analysis, so it's a pull between the $37k level and the $63k level, based on the movement, it again proves that the month of February and March is the months of correction, so we'll see how things will turn up in the coming days and weeks, I am hoping that it will end up in the $63k level, not only me but we all are.

If the area between $42,000 and $44,000 holds, upward continuation is likely. In that case, the point of interest at $63,000 is still on the table.

- I think that's hard to say. Whether it's between $ 42,000-63,000 or we go beyond that. PlanB and its calculation of the stock to flow also shows 4 phases of a bull run and 3 corrections can be seen there. But i don't want to make a big analysis of it, but rather show you something.

For a better assessment of a correction like today, the past price developments in earlier bullish phases of Bitcoin should be pointed out again. Both in the first strong phase of the price increase around 2013 and in the hype year 2017, several strong corrections of up to 40 percent took place. In view of the fact that almost all of the invested parties are currently enormously positive, profit-taking must inevitably be taken into account
3889  Local / Trading und Spekulation / Re: Der Aktuelle Kursverlauf on: February 27, 2021, 08:34:58 AM

Was ein extrem positives Bild.
3890  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 1INCH Speculation/Discussion Thread on: February 27, 2021, 08:23:59 AM
do i understand this information means death of eth exchange?

No. So the possibility to swap the coins / tokens via eth remains. It is now much cheaper to trade or swap them via Binance Chain. You have probably seen in the last few weeks what happens when Ethereum is so extremely hyped and the gas fees soar and you are annoyed to pay so much for a trade. This has been optimized thanks to the low fees at the BSC.
Look here:

The 1INCH token on Binance Smart Chain will be used for a bridge between the Binance and Ethereum networks. When a user sends 1INCH tokens to BSC, they will be locked in Binance Bridge, and a corresponding value in 1INCH tokens on Binance will be consequently unlocked. 1inch users will get access to PancakeSwap, BurgerSwap, StreetSwap, Venus, StableSwap, JulSwap, BakerySwap and other Binance-based DEXes and lending protocols.

3891  Local / Altcoins (Deutsch) / Re: Hot Coins on: February 25, 2021, 06:18:38 PM

3892  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 1INCH Speculation/Discussion Thread on: February 25, 2021, 05:10:03 PM
The implementation in BSC was only a logical step and will lead to increasing sales of the 1inch protocol.

As a result, users will be able to switch quickly and easily between Ethereum and Binance Smart Chain - keyword “cross-chain”. In the meantime, all functions of the liquidity log, the aggregation log and all staking functions will be available to BSC users. 10 million 1INCH tokens have already been issued on BSC and are now provided as liquidity in the Binance Bridge for transactions between Ethereum and Binance Smart Chain. The maximum number of possible tokens is not increased.
3893  Economy / Speculation / Re: Predicts $100k before end of the year on: February 25, 2021, 03:35:41 PM
$100k price is posible at the end of the year, i think it will reach that point because we are now at the first quarter of the year and btc price rise up o $51k so i think if bitcoin will continue to rise it will maybe touch $100k at the end of the year. But this was only a prediction after all market will always depend on supply and demand.

2021 must be the year of Bitcoin: The $ 50,000 mark has been cracked A pattern of the past is setting itself, the price still up to $ 100,000. Even so, with the rally you also gain weight on the largest. Against the background of rising inflation rates, Bitcoin could start a run towards 100,000 dollars due to its limitation to 21 million coins. The coins would become a serious competitor for the fiat money and thus call the central bankers on the scene. Whether the mark will be achieved must at least be doubted. In the media, the crypto currencies have been decorating the headlines again for weeks if you ignore the 4 day drop. The mood is good - and urges caution.

3895  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you have a Bitcoin exit strategy? on: February 24, 2021, 06:28:26 PM
Yeah my strategy is never sell all your BTC. HODLer!

The call for a strategy to get out comes again and again with such courses. But one thing should be clear, never sell everything! always at least 1 bitcoin hodln. Just to never really be gone, but to stay loyal to the community and to innovation. Even with a higher rate like now, bitcoin remains and lives on. Selling a portion is okay, but hey ... not all.
@virtualdn: good man. great decision.

I want to give my family bitcoin and do not want them to say in the future: would you have bought btc earlier than you could.

Also ungewaschen versteht sich  Grin

3898  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Tesla Bitcoin purchase on: February 23, 2021, 10:25:03 PM
Tesla was in a hurry, I hope you understand this. Although the price has increased, but for how long?

Elon could have equipped Starman with a BTC and sent him on his way to Mars. Crazy idea, but a tesla in space is also crazy.

SpaceX engineers and Elon Musk wrote space history when the Falcon Heavy went into space. The Falcon Heavy is the most powerful rocket since Saturn V, which belonged to astronauts on the moon almost 50 years ago. The red Tesla of the eccentric multibillionaire Musk, a luxury vehicle costing 100,000 US dollars, feels on board the super rocket. Six hours after the start of the car and its passenger - an empty SpaceX astronaut suit named "Starman" - course to Mars.

3900  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin crashed below $48K, is the bull market in danger? on: February 23, 2021, 08:19:56 PM
i think if bitcoin dips below 30k mark then we will be in trouble. for the time being bull market run is not in danger its just doing some correction and then it will go and recover to much higher levels.
im going to watch the market for little more wait for it to drop little bit more before start buying.

I don't think then we will be in trouble, there is heavy demand „The normal bitcoin madness“

What at first glance looks like a massive slump is almost normal with Bitcoin. Slumps of ten percent and more are not uncommon, at the same time the price of the crypto currency can quickly go through the roof when the news is right. Allianz boss Oliver Bäte put it this way at the company's annual press conference last week: "Some celebrity buys some Bitcoin and then the prices for these assets explode," says the Allianz boss. "That's pretty crazy, we really have to be careful."

Yes, it is really crazy. But in the end it is just the consequence of the huge amount of cheap money that central banks around the world are pumping into the markets. It has to go somewhere, and more and more investors and especially more and more Big investors are investing it in Bitcoin.
