And the thing just opened like a week ago right? If we think coins on exchange are low right now wait until this ETF has been around for a couple of months.

https://twitter.com/Davincij15/status/1364613503210975241?s=20LoL nice one... But still my honest thinking is that I have no ambitions for owning a Lambo actually even if it would happen or whatever... its not the car I dream of and surely not the one I would like to drive daily in .... Just the thought of being ripped off in Taxes, yearly things, absurd maintenance, all kind of dumb sh*t.... For the DUTCH among us The cost are so high "het is dweilen met de kraan open" Google translates this to "it is mopping with the tap open". I see your point, and I fully agree! LOL! Haha indeed, in dutch its a common sentence It's probably NOT the car for me either, even if I felt that I had some place that I would want to keep such a car and maybe use it a few times a year. So yeah let's say that the car costs about half a million (of course, you could get a cheaper version, but why?)... and then probably we should calculate another half a million for various costs over a 10 year ownership of the car... Something like that. So, if any of us feel that we have an extra million in wealth that we want to use to consume such a product, then that might not be a problem.. but then a question might be how much wealth should a reasonable person have in order spend around a $million on a nearly complete consumption good - and a show off status piece? Probably $3million minimum.. and maybe above $5million would be preferable... but hey who am I to say.. I am not really very interested in such a car at this time, but never say never. By the way, currently the 208-week moving average is getting close to $9,400, so a person would need to have: BTC == dollar value 106.383 = $1million 319.15 = $3million 531.915 = $5million 1,063.83 = $10million By the way, if I am using the 208-week moving average of my measure of the bitcoin bottom ($9,400) for the intention of long-term considerations regarding my own bitcoin wealth management, I can also consider that any bitcoin that I were to cash in today, at this moment with the BTC price bouncing around $47,000 to $47,500, I get an immediate 5x return.. could feel good to do that, even though I am NOT cashing anything out beyond my normal practices (and system). But if anyone were to feel that they need cash in the coming year or less to consider if there might be an amount of BTC to cash in that makes you feel good in terms of getting a certain locked-in value above the 208-week moving average, then 5x immediate returns cannot really feel bad.. and of course the 2080-week moving average is continuing to move up quite slowly, relatively speaking... but still moving up around $200 per week-ish in these here times. Don't get me wrong, I am not suggesting anyone sell any of their bitcoins, but each person also has personal considerations in term of where they are at and if they believe that they can HODL through these kinds of periods, shave some off or are then in an accumulation stage of ongoingly buying more BTC because they have not yet met their personal BTC accumulation goals. Edit: no offense intended to those who enjoy sucking cock. you do you.
Well, like, have you even tried sucking cock? Don't knock it until you've tried it. Sounds gross. I don't have any desire to try it - but again, never say never, if there might not be some other options out there.

I hope not honestly, I don't want it going parabolic again. If it does though I would prefer it to be closer to the end of the year.

Today is a big day for me. Thanks to BTC, and partially to you all here, I am debt-free today. I quit my job, and I paid off ten years of debt, now I own my house and a few acres in the clear. My wife and I live fairly simply. Old paid-for cars (that I can fix), no cable TeeVee. A large garden and a small shooting range in the back yard. I quit smoking cigarettes, and DCA that amount into BTC. Doing this payoff burned a big chunk of the corn, but it is a better thing to do for myself, now. We won't be wealthy, but this is the American dream for me. YMMV.
This is a very touching post and a great example of what a significant role Bitcoin can play in our life ... For a second I imagined myself in your place, I imagined that I quit smoking and met a girl who adheres to the wedding vow “In wealth and poverty, in illness and health". You are lucky, appreciate it ... BTW, congratulations on your achievement Sr. Member rank, 249+1 (in fact, I get a little euphoric when I send merit to those who, on the cusp of a new rank, publish something heartbreaking).

I hope so, but I think that it is a little early to make that call. The US session, will give us some better direction. The next 24 hours are critical

If I accidentally deposit $1000 to your account, I cannot just say to the bank "I'm sorry, I made a mistake, I want my $1000 back". I have to contact you and kindly ask you to send the money back to me, and you can refuse to do so for whatever reason. Depending on who you are, you certainly can. Hence Bitcoin. Correct. If you have an unexpected windfall at a bank (error transfer) that is classified as "not reasonable" then yes you have to give it back. Sucks, but that's life. Now if you deposit extra money to pay a debt in error then the holder of the debt does NOT have to give it back as it is a payment against the debt. Bitcoin fixes the above issue. That said, if someone dropped 100btc into my account by mistake I would refund it. Because it's the right thing to do and laying claim to something that isn't mine would corrupt my soul. That's worth way more than 100btc to me. I tend to agree with you - in principle, but 100 BTC? I am pretty confident the decision to return that amount would have to age for quite some time with me. But yeah, rather sleep well than keeping something that is not yours.

And giving it back would kill lots of peeps? I guess that would be a bit complicated for the owner of the funds to locate you? So not many chances you'd get contacted by the fatfinger?

@Richy_T, I don't really have a bias against big blockers, I let them be. I understand the situation and we have all been offered a coins with big blocks in the form of forks, as well as altcoins. For most sites that accept BCH or BSV, they sometimes accept LTC and XMR which have different coin parameters (faster block times) and even privacy.
I guess what they don't like is that they would have wanted it to be part of BTC instead of having to go to an altcoin exchange to swap over to a different coin just to spend it.
I think it of it more like the difference between an investment account, a savings account, a checking account and your credit card.
Anyway, this topic has already been discussed, I had just thought you were one of those big blockers come back and try to resurrect an already dead horse. It will one day, but not now.
As for the synthetic meat, I'm wondering about that too, is that how Beyond Meat is made now? They are only marginal more expensive than regular burgers in A&W and other places that server it. There are even competitor synthetic meats. I've always thought they were the next version of tofu or something.
