3881  Bitcoin / Mining / S1 Miners, Chip heat and sufficent heat displacement. on: July 17, 2014, 01:13:25 PM
So.. I have 4 S1 ant miners.. Ne ways long story short The one in my room the chips are at 55c.. the ones in the TV room were at 68-70c :S :S :O uh oh.. I should check more often.. ne ways the shelf they are on was pressed right against the wall..(BBBAD IDEA) I moved the shelf out from the wall 12" and check the temp an hour later.. all droped to 55c.  F YA no more over heating worries.

That is my story.. give your miners lots of room to displace the heat.
3882  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Rbox Fan failure on: July 17, 2014, 01:11:08 PM
Sweet, it's been running with no issues.  I connected a fan to the second fan port on my Ant miner and sat the Rbox on top of that fan.. LMAO.  I think the fan might of burnt out as it appears the power supply I bought for it (a laptop one) is 20Vdc and not 12Vdc.. It seems it just ties the input voltage to the fan with no filter.. O well.  It's my toy miner ne ways, mining some Joulecoin with it Cheesy.  (I am an Electrical Technologist.. Joulecoin is a cool name Tongue)
3883  Bitcoin / Mining support / Rbox Fan failure on: July 17, 2014, 12:03:08 AM
I bought an Rbox about 2 weeks ago and the Fan has stopped working.. Sad.  Will it be fine without it?  It seems to not be too warm right now.
3884  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Island on: July 16, 2014, 08:28:20 PM
Here is a very good option: a tiny island in the mediterranean with an old fortress on it:
http://www.montenegroinvestments.info/projects/mamula-island

And the best part is that its home country (Montenegro) is very very business friendly, very very low-tax and very cheap. There is possible to get even a banking license at a very cheap price: https://www.offshore-manual.com/europe-montenegro.html or setup an e-gambling business: http://e-gambling.me/en/16/services (or maybe both in one).

Oooh I do like this idea.
3885  Economy / Economics / Re: Any other ways to store value anonymously? on: July 16, 2014, 07:51:34 PM
Booze, coffee, long lasting food.  Food also inflates in price massively.. find stuff that last awhile.

Dec/Jan/Feb

Price rise at night, fall during the day.

Currently,
Price fall at night, rise during the day.

China's influence is vastly deminished..?
3887  Other / Politics & Society / Re: World Economy 'More Fragile than Before 2007 Crash' on: July 16, 2014, 06:27:18 PM
Even if it benefits Bitcoin im scared. Also, in such a dangerious enviorment, would Bitcoin be even accepted? In total chaos the guy with weapons and food is the guy that rules  Sad

Alas this.. not so much to the food as the military might will take it from you.  The #1 form of wealth is armies, armies you control 100% that do not question you.  With that ANYTHING and EVERYTHING is yours.

When things go bad the hired armies of the gov (the police) will come to steal EVERYTHING you own.. EVERYTHING including crypto.  If you do not have the means or people to defend yourself you will be killed and everything taken, or enslaved and everything taken...

Things are just not looking good at all..  I have cop friends.. they are 100% brainwashed.  If asked to go wipe out a city there will be no question just action.

It's rather obvious the gun agenda with a massive decrease in gun violence over the past 15 years but the media going on about how bad it's getting and how we HAVE to fix this issue that is getting worse.. when it's getting better... :S..  In my country you'll face years in prison if you are found with a baton... hopefully I can escape south if/when the time comes.

Doctor needs to scare patient into buying their prescription drug.

Nah they have the ENTIRE "mental illness" industry for that.  Mental illness LMAO.. ooooh we are all such stupid slaves.
3889  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Groceries PLEASE!!! on: July 16, 2014, 04:36:22 PM
im sorry, but arnt YOU the closest person that lives near YOUR grocery store, ..

.. may i suggest YOU talk to YOUR local grocery store to accept bitcoins. as im pretty sure no on else wil travel all th way to YOUR town to talk to YOUR local grocer..

if YOU want a grocery store near YOU to accept bitcoins, then its kind of obvious that YOU need to help YOURSELF to make things in YOUR town change. YOU live there after all..

i am bringing change to my town. so dont sit there and whing on a forum. instead ask for the best way to introduce it, the bst way to get your grocer to accept it. and dont just hope someone else will change your town while you sit on your sofa. get involved, be the change that you want

You're just being a fucking asshole. Shouldn't you be over in /r/Bitcoin instead?

Of course I've talked to the local grocer! Stop being a fucking asswipe. Oh fuck.. I just don't know why I even bother sometimes. Some Bitcoiners are just such cunts sometimes. You're a great example. Please fuck off and stop being a total jackass. I fucking hate people like you. Fuck off and stop being such a douche. Bitcoin doesn't need you constant "hey! let's fucking shit on everyone all the time every chance we get" nonsense.

Don't you love how people assume they are some all knowing super amazing God and all other humans are complete and utter morons that can barely walk or breath.

Whoa.. how the hell did I get four of these...  Perhaps an error cause I am a B1 S3 customer... I chose the refund soo I'm gonna way a day or two to see what happens.
LOL... nice error Smiley.  I'm B1 S3 customer as well and chose the refund option, too.  My S3s are on the way and should be here by Thursday.  No extra coupons for me.  I've got a couple that expired on May 30th, though... hehehe.

Looks like I should check my coupon section more than once ever.. they expired months ago.. Sad.

I'm sure it's a little before most of the people's time on this forum, but way back in the day, people were calling UPS claiming to be the recipient of Avalon miners and requesting they be delivered to addresses other than specified on the packages.

TL;DR:  QUIT POSTING YOUR SHIPPING IDENTIFIERS OR PEOPLE ARE GOING TO TRY AND REDIRECT THEM.

Oh... fak..  Well it's not my tracking number I guess...  Bah I will call UPS ne ways tomorrow.

3898  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What should be taxed? on: July 15, 2014, 04:48:45 PM
Not a god damn thing.
All central banks should be abolished, fractional banking ended, money based on crypto, govs mine for new money to pay for things.

Tax is criminal.
3899  Other / Politics & Society / Re: DEA may be losing the war on marijuana politics on: July 15, 2014, 04:46:50 PM
The DEA, just like the IRS are short-lived agencies that will soon be deemed redundant.

Hopefully these criminal agencies are ended soon.
3900  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: day trading - what's the catch? on: July 15, 2014, 04:44:45 PM
Hello,
I'm just interested if is it possible or there is some catch. I see that price of BTC on stocks is different (of course) but the difference is big enough to make money with just buying on one stock and selling on the other one. So my Q is what's the catch? I already checked fees and still it's should be ok.

I've never trade BTC (yet) so correct me if I'm wrong or there is only classic risks like falling price..

I check price @  http://bitcoincharts.com/markets/currency/USD.html

Thanks in advance for your time.

This is arbitrage not day trading.. 1000's are doing it and with many things.  I know a girl at my work that is pushing products from shevels at a low cost for a higher one on amazon.  It is prefectly legal and the crminals in power will want their tax money.
