3881  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin legalization in India....incoming price inflation! on: June 29, 2017, 07:59:31 AM
idk why does it matter, as people from anywhere can buy and sell bitcoins., making it legal means they are going to tax it.
it would be better if more and more people started using bitcoins, and indian exchanges charges hefty fees for buying bitcoins., while bitstamp's btc price is appropriate.

after cointele published it, the price of BTC weren't pulled up still. my patel friends knew bitcoin but swear won't buy btc. they would rather want to earn btc by providing services in exchange. i have few indian friends and they're good at online marketing and webdesigns, they were aware of btc but not interested on earning. maybe some indians who are into it.
They have lots of sources to make money. Only a certain user group who were in the middle class try hard to earn bitcoin taking much risks. Rest of the get the luxury through different other platforms, mainly through their skills, because India has got all sectors of industry.
3882  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin better or paypal? on: June 28, 2017, 05:34:09 AM
And everyone who is struggling in this forum, i'm sure they prefer bitcoin rather than paypal. I haven't used paypal again as a payment processor, because bitcoin more efficient in my opinion.
to me i personally prefer to bitcoin as compare to paypal. in fact paypal service is not available in my country and that is the only reason i cannot use paypal, but it has become too easy to use bitcoin instead of paypal.
may be for some people paypal is more convenient to use, and therefore they are choosing paypal instead of bitcoin, but for those people where they do not have the facility of paypal like you then for such people bitcoin is a good option because now most of the onlne shopkeepers are accepting bitcoin for shopping. and i think bitcoin is also present everywhere, therefore it is more convenient for everyone to use bitcoin instead of paypal
Some people think that paypal is more convenient for them and they are using it because these people do not know about bitcoin as if they will know about bitcoin then they will also find that none of the payment processor is convenient like bitcoin and they will adopt and will use only bitcoin.
to me i do not think that it is more convenient than bitcoin, you can use bitcoin in any where, while paypal is not present everywhere and therefore i can say that bitcoin is more better than paypal.

No mate the popularity of paypal is higher in compare to bitcoins at a moment as very few people are aware about bitcoins and bitcoin is still not widely accepted either online or offline but if you notice then almost all online sites have an option of paypal and that makes it more popular among the people and it will take time for bitcoin to take over paypal in future.
Agreed, popularity of bitcoin is not that high as PayPal. Bitcoin on a sudden has gained more popularity, PayPal as a payment service has gained good reputation through its transaction accessibility crossing borders which were felt to be difficult in the past. This made its implementation in majority of the websites as an payment gateway. Maybe in future bitcoin too gets a place in the payment section.
3883  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoins rise after the bubble on: June 28, 2017, 05:07:22 AM
Surely it will rise after that huge drop no matter how much does it drop, volatility at its finest, volatility is all around bitcoins. And altcoins going bloody red is just normal when bitcoins drops its a chain reaction i think

It is now rising and for sure the price of bitcoin is going to recover. The bloody market is already done and we are going to expect the real pump for the upcoming days. The month of July is going to be a full blast because of the upcoming split on August 1.
Not only bitcoin, along with this majority of the altcoins that have been dropping gradually has given the signs of retaining the value. The altcoins that I hold in my portfolio have been in the increasing side without even a single coin on the decreasing side. This seems to be the start for next price pumping and let's hope to reach $3000 at the earliest.
3884  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will we ever see bitcoin lower than 1000$? on: June 28, 2017, 04:52:05 AM
It is hardly possible(but don't forget that everything is possible) and i know btc isn't stable. Its value goes up and down every moment but i honestly can't see him dropping under 2000$.
The price will always fluctuate, like it has been for long time. But i agree with you when you say that it is less likely that bitcoin will fall below 2000 dollars. I mean it has grown so fast in last few months, and there are news that it will grow even more, which is great. It is great for all of us who deal with  bitcoin. But everything is possible as you said Cheesy .
We need to understand that where the Bitcoin stands today is a very good positions from its past. In past we have observed that the bitcoin prices fall too much abruptly but now it is a recognized and legalized way of payment in some countries so it can now not fall this much down around $2000 is acceptable but I think not below than that.
When bitcoin is not that popular the price falling down low is quite common. Right now the scenario is different that more Countries have adopted and legalized bitcoin. So a big volatility will surely affect the economic situation within the country. Based on this I believe that the price never goes down to $2000 and the trust is driving the entire system of cryptocurrencies.
3885  Other / Off-topic / Re: Would you give bitcoin as a wedding gift? on: June 28, 2017, 04:20:57 AM
Now this looks little weird, but when days pass people starts gifting bitcoin when the popularity increases, one of my friend already has got bitcoin as a gift during the days of Christmas. But with that both were aware of the digital currency and it's value, but the same makes people think what's this gift with the unknown person. So same as we providing giftcard in future people use bitcoin for gifting purpose.
3886  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Micro Transactions? on: June 27, 2017, 06:05:50 AM
I believe OP has the question whether it's possible to make a Profiting from the fluctuations happening between time. For the same my answer is yes, whether the price is dropping or increasing users can make use of the fluctuations and make money. All that's required is patience to overcome the fear of losing and buy at the some X price and if the price seems dropping continuous at some point it surely strikes back towards increase. We need to make use of this and sell even if the profit is small. All it needs is time to have a close observation on the price variation.
3887  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC sudden price fall? on: June 27, 2017, 05:46:25 AM
The market had been mostly undecided for the last few days, and now as the Judgment day draws nearer, people become nervous and anxious, so it shouldn't surprise anyone that they are looking to cash out. I suspect we should see extreme volatility in July

Thank you Deisik. Judgement day, do you mean Segwit?

I hope the price of BTC did not suddenly fall because the atmosphere is unstable at the moment, maybe a lot of people who feel the doubt to the last second in determining the closer we got to extra patient. and always see the movement of the bitcoin so that at the beginning of July the determination does not occur to disappoint but made many smile seeing him with the price

I just notice that All cryptos are dump starting last Saturday. Is this just a coincidence that some big ICO are starting after price dump happened. I don't read any news related on certain price dump of crypto. Any thoughts?
This doesn't look to be something out of control. The normal growth is happening and the price resistance is taking place, a panic situation has got risen among a certain community. This has made a large scale selling and has caused the price manipulation. Personally I don't think there is a need to relate bitcoin with altcoins as both function on different platforms.
3888  Other / Off-topic / Re: Young people should go all in on bitcoin on: June 27, 2017, 05:14:16 AM
You can start earning with bitcoin at any age, no matter where and with whom you live. This currency is a new generation and you must not miss the opportunity to earn money.

But then if young people go into it the more now then it means we are sowing into them and their generation cryptocurrencies which will be beneficial in the long run because they will grow up knowing how to use it unlike the current generation which have a few computer savvy population.

The current generation is much advanced with the technology related growth, but just the lacking of awareness in digital currency is just because of the negativity it has gained over the past. Every young generation is doesn't have the same thinking, so the spreading need to be effective from us the users. We need to make them understand the good in it and let them too focus on the good. If this is possible then the upcoming generation will be traveling all around with cryts.
3889  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are your plans with your Bitcoin? on: June 27, 2017, 05:05:29 AM
Hi guys Smiley May I know what are your plans on your Bitcoin in the future? Do you plan to keep on investing on Bitcoin related businesses or do plan to convert it into fiat and ventures on new business?

I'm planning to invest more on Bitcoin related companies and convert some of my Bitcoin into fiat and invest it on our local stock market. How about you?

A portion of the bitcoin will be invested and I use it for trading some of it I will use for business capital.

My plan for my bitcoin is to save some of it for long term investment and some is cash-out and some is to brought some alt-coin like etherium and hold it for a long time or the price is right to convert.

Most users prefer the same and I'm not an exception. I've been holding bitcoin as a long term investment without making any sort of investment and has bought little amount of altcoins and invested a small amount into few ICO's. Hoping for a better profiting through the bitcoin holding and regularly used to participate into the altcoins trading to make a small profit.
3890  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading Bitcoin for Altcoins Anonymously? on: June 26, 2017, 07:54:58 AM
trading bitcoin with pair altcoin still anonymous
but if bitcoin trading pair with fiat money need verification ID
As mentioned trading to altcoin pair or altcoin to bitcoin doesn't require any verification. These are found in limited exchnages and for altcoins to fiat there is always a requirement of an verification. So that making trades in an anonymous manner is simply impossible with fiat as banks won't allow such transactions.
3891  Economy / Speculation / Re: Anyone else think "long term" hodlers are idiots? on: June 26, 2017, 05:03:43 AM
your problem is that you don't understand what a long term hodl means!
it is pretty simple. you buy when all the idiots are running around saying bitcoin is dead, in other words you buy when price was ~$200 then when it goes up to $450 you can take the initial invested amount out. this is coincidentally the same time as the same idiots are running around saying bitcoin to the moon.
then price falls down because some bigger idiot said bitcoin is dead and i am leaving bitcoin AKA M.H. and you buy a lot more bitcoin in that dip and put it in your cold storage. rinse and repeat and after 2 years you have more money and bitcoin than the idiots busting their asses risking day trading.
That's the hard reality with the users all around. One may be good to make a low buying, but only the long holding profits the user rather than selling at the price pumping happening in a short time period once after buying low. Op doesn't need to complicate, just think of the early adopters. One who got it for $1 and sold for $10 is not the successful, but just on holding one who grabs the best is the successful. For the same to happen holding is a must without considering the dips and price dumps on different issues.
3892  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is Freedom on: June 26, 2017, 04:32:08 AM
Everyone of course do loves freedom. Anyone who knows the freedom that bitcoin can provide well be now then a part of the freedom community. Then look at us now we are massively growing each day   Grin

We do love freedom and it's like you can do everything with it. And it's one thing why we are growing fast, investors and new adopters are seeing the freedom in bitcoin. No tax, no regulation totally decentralized which we are free from the burden that is being passed to us by the government,so yeah bitcoin is freedom.
Very well said. Bitcoin is freedom in the sense that it is free from the government and the best from it is no tax at all but there's a fee for every transaction but that is not that high so I think if they will abolish the fee in the bitcoin more investors are going to invest with it.
What's been stated is one way of freedom. In the similar manner bitcoin can be considered as freedom for various factors. These days several studies were going on for the implementation of taxation for bitcoin related transactions and when the transaction fee decrease the usage increases and not the investor base, because rather than for transaction people prefer it for long term investment. So fee won't affect them.
3893  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Offline Wallets Vs Online Wallets on: June 26, 2017, 04:14:26 AM
For long term storage, please use offline paper wallet or hardware wallets. Paper wallet must be carefully generated though.

For daily/ frequent use, you can consider one of the mobile wallet- after all you do not bring your computer with you everywhere. Try breadwallet.
I think it's already cleared, based on the purpose and amount of bitcoin obviously.
Small amount of bitcoin and daily transaction - choose online (mobile) wallet.
Huge amount of bitcoin for long term savings - choose offline wallet.
There are a lot of wallets out there, you can research by yourself or read https://99bitcoins.com/best-bitcoin-wallet-2015-bitcoin-wallets-comparison-review/

Yeah simple as that. Always based on purpose like just why did you need a wallet.
This answer is the most accurate so far.
That's inappropriate, because without wallet we cannot save all the bitcoin. Based on the purpose different forms of wallets can be used. In terms of security and for long term holding needs people prefer offline wallets, whereas for anywhere accessing and gambling needs online wallets were the one that's preferred much.
3894  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: DCORP Crowdsale - Democratizing Venture Capitalism on: June 25, 2017, 10:37:13 AM
Few more days left for the end of ICO presale. Already we had reached around 12000eth investment which itself a success for the project. Hope we might reach 15000 ETH by the end sale of ICO as by the last days more investors tend to make a good investment looking it's strength to grow and profit the investors.
3895  Economy / Speculation / Re: should i buy or sell today on: June 25, 2017, 10:21:02 AM
You could buy today as the price has decreased around $100. Same time this is not a constant decrease, just the fluctuation so buying could profit you in a short. If sold the whales will make profit with your bitcoin as the price increase is gonna happen soon as there are several strong reason for a good price rise to take place.
3896  Economy / Speculation / Re: fluctuating btc price on: June 25, 2017, 10:03:41 AM
We can not predict a bitcoin price. Probably the closest is information about segwit. This can have a positive impact on bitcoin prices. So the closest time now is how the results of segwit, we all crave the price increase for sure.
Segwit have been into controversial issue for a long. This time too we don't know what's gonna happen at the end. The price fluctuations were high and it seems the right time to profit involving into trading activities. Even arbitrage trading seems effective, because the price has gone as low as $2500 in some exchanges.
3897  Economy / Economics / Re: How to double your money using BTC? on: June 25, 2017, 05:52:11 AM
Thats a very long time just to double your bitcoins, there are so many ways by now to double or triple your money in such a short period of time, why not try trading it can definitely double your bitcoin in 1-2 months use your strategy..
Yes I prefer to play trading.

Playing trading on some altcoin will double my money faster in quick time.
Yes indeed! Altcoin trading or buying and selling altcoin is the best source of bitcoin or to double our money because if we will just do it right then we can double our bitcoin in just less than a month or even a week because trading altcoin is very easy for people who want to try it and you just need the guts and the capital to do it and after a few days you will see the progress.
Altcoin trading is the great way to double your money but there is no assurance that you'll see the progress in days since altcoin's market is quite stable thus it can take months to see its progress.
As suggested altcoins trading is the best way through which one can multiply his investment. The same cannot be made according to certain time limits. It happens based on the price variation and the next possible method is gambling where you need the strategy making skills 25% and luck 75% then you can double the amount in a days time.
3898  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading Tips On Day Trading and Shorts? on: June 24, 2017, 04:59:16 AM
Day trading is not that easy as people think, it has got lots and lots of complications incorporated into it. Even a small mistake will lead to a major loss. So before deciding yourself to be a day trader analyse well about the market and learn as much possible then decide whether it suits you. Based on that make you involved and then based on your skills you'll be profited.
3899  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to quit Gambling for good? on: June 24, 2017, 04:39:51 AM
In my view there is no need to quit gambling, when you love to be a part of gambling. This is all about fun and excitement, only very few will be successful and the rest just enjoy it and leave it's our fate to loss. So to avoid this stick to limitations and the rest will be happening good, because out of curiosity on winning and frustration on losing people somehow try to make money. This should be stopped and the rest happens in a better way.
3900  Economy / Speculation / Re: fluctuating btc price on: June 24, 2017, 04:21:12 AM
all i can think of is more drama regarding SegWit. so far SegWit2x has gained a huge support from miners (85.4% from the time it started being signaled) but apparently core developers are saying No to it. and that is causing a lot of trouble specially down the road.
We all wait a segwit.  Whatever happens this can change the bitcoin price. Increased or decreased, this will change the situation. We are all looking forward to this.
Agreed, right now majority of the users were expecting the segwit and experience the price increase or decrease happening with it. Long back itself it's speculated that once on segwit the price will peak. Let's wait and see, also the price right now is not varying much. It is fluctuating within certain limits.
