3881  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Please refrain from depositing from Blockchain.info if you want fast deposits on: February 04, 2017, 08:58:07 AM
Please refrain from depositing from Blockchain.info if you want fast deposits to gaming sites.
This goes for depositing to any gaming site.
Many users are experiencing long confirmations and are left to wait extended periods of times when using Blockchain.info.

as a legendary member who has been around for a couple of years you have to already know that it is not blockchain.info's fault that confirmations are taking too long but the fact that people include smaller fees in their transactions than they should based on the fact that fees have gone up a lot. and also the fact that blocks are full and there are lots of transactions waiting in queue!

and in blockchain.info you can easily click on button (i think it is called more or detailed transaction) and set the fees manually yourself. and the fees that site suggests is not that far off or that different from using other wallets. you can however click that easily and increase the amount by a little. for example if it suggested 32000 satoshi increase it to 35000 satoshi.

again this is what's going to happen with all wallets not just blockchain.info even if you use core and include lower fees it will take more time.
3882  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is the maximum price in the next 12-18 mo? on: February 04, 2017, 08:51:48 AM
$1200 - $1500 Will be the price range for the whole year, like I said thousand times. $25000-26000, what are you smoking? Bitcoin at that price would mean a 412 BILLIONS marketcap, almost the Microsoft marketcap.

I agree with $1200-1500 range. When we talk about bitcoin price, we need to be realistic and rational, it is obvious that $25000 is impossible, maybe is possible in year 2030, at that time, everything is 5X expensive than now. In 2017, $25000 is absolutely impossible, $2500 is a little possible.

nothing is impossible. i think the correct term is improbable meaning the possibility of that happening is low.
and besides i disagree with the $1200-$1500 for the whole year. you are thinking in numbers not percentages. and bitcoin is not yet at the max adoption to have a stable price. a $1200 rise is 18% and $1500 is 48% rise. and this amount of rise in a whole year is too small for bitcoin, check the history and you can see how small it is.
3883  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: is LTC dead ? on: February 04, 2017, 08:44:46 AM
litecoin is stable price, coin is good and the best stable price, is litecoin and dogecoin
all altcoin can down price if bitcoin price incraese high
but if you want disscus litecoin price, is good and right place in speculation altcoin section
but last days it down much .. it was 0.0043 and now its just 0.00396 !!!
and what you think about bitcoin. will be up more or will happened like first of month and down much ?!

it is the bitcoin effect!
whenever price of bitcoin goes up, all of the altcoins that have been traded against USD and Bitcoin at the same time will go down. and it is a simple logical reason. 0.00396BTC is worth more than 0.0043BTC used to worth a couple of days ago! because when price was 0.0043BTC bitcoin price was $910 and now that it is worth 0.00396BTC, bitcoin is worth $1010
do the multiplications or find a chart that is reporting price in LTC/USD not LTC/BTC and you will see the change.
3884  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why is there an increased number of newbies wanting to create a new altcoin? on: February 04, 2017, 08:39:36 AM
recently i keep seeing new people, having no knowledge of what counts, wanting to start a new cryptocurrency (an altcoin) of their own.
these people that i am talking about
have little to no knowledge of programming.
have no knowledge of cryptography.
have no knowledge of economics.
and more importantly they have zero experience.

so why do they want to create a new altcoin? is this market turning into such a crappy place that they can make their own altcoin and list it somewhere to even be exchanged against bitcoin?!

my theory is that it is mostly the fault of crappy exchanges such as yobit that list literary anything on their exchange allowing these types of altcoin to live.
It's great. The more coins the better. Soon schoolkids will have them. Every town will have one. They will be everywhere  Smiley

Soon you will be easily able to make your own coin, with much better specs than we have today. It's going to get better and better and easier and easier to create decentralised networks of all styles.

only if it were true....

what is happening in reality, and in the world we live in is that kids are clicking a button to clone a project and then change the name to have a brand new altcoin and then some of them even go as far as scam others with pre mine and ICO.
in the end we see a shit coin with nothing new, and no development.
and such coins die withing a very short amount of time.

so how do you think it is getting better and better? there is no improvement, only back track.
3885  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: current cost of a pizza in bitcoins <.036086 on: February 04, 2017, 08:34:43 AM
actually the pizza story is not about how much spent to get what but the main purpose of that story is that bitcoin was spent as a currency and it was a direct purchase not going through third parties, not using fiat in the end in the process, not selling bitcoin getting fiat and then buying pizza.
he directly offered bitcoin in exchange for pizza.

and that is where we should go. it doesn't matter if you can buy 1 pizza with 1BTC or 100,000 of them.
3886  Economy / Speculation / Re: Price climbing fast again on: February 02, 2017, 06:56:41 AM
This climb isn't fast in comparison to what I'm used too, but maybe that is because I'm watching the charts more. But honestly Bitcoin breaking $1,000 is really possible in a month. The fact it has held its ground at these prices aside from the China scare is very promising. I do wish the Segwit/Scaling thing was resolved, as I feel that is where a lot of uncertainty lies. Get Segwit [or any scaling solution!] and we will see the market choose a direction.

Indeed it was not fast like last January, though it is a surprice that after breaking the $950 wall, it breaks  $970 wall almost touching $980, a $20 in a day after a several day being almost idle.  Anyway, I still can't see any bull trap here LOL unless it touches $1100 tomorrow, just in case I will be cashing out at $990.  Tongue

there wasn't much of a wall to begin with.
and also you are forgetting the fact that when price rises like this (or technically when it drops too) these walls are mostly removed.
for example when price was stable, and you bought at $910 you place a sell order on higher price creating a wall or contributing to one, but after you see rise you may remove that order and make other decisions to wait and sell higher.

also when rises happen, many other traders and FOMOs join in breaking any kind of wall so fast (as in the initial sudden jump that you can see on the charts)
3887  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why is there an increased number of newbies wanting to create a new altcoin? on: February 02, 2017, 06:49:49 AM
If I could say it all in one phrase: easy money without working hard.  Smiley

There are several ways to achive that phrase
  • Dump the premine
  • Run away after getting ICO/IPO money
  • Etc

that's the thing though. they can't make money!
what you say works for those who have created at least one altcoin before or done the same scam on 2 different ones before.
someone who i described in my OP has no idea what he is doing, someone who doesn't even know how to fork can not ask for ICO, and be sure that he will mess up the premine and price will be 1 satoshi even before hitting the exchange.
3888  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Investing in casinos on: February 02, 2017, 06:43:14 AM
Hi. I'm not sure if this is the right place to start a topic but I really want some answers and it's connected to gambling in a way. I'm thinking about picking a casino and investing in it, so that I can have some small income every month (if everything goes okay). What I wanted to ask is if that is possible to see the information about casinos' income per day or month for now or is it private information nobod really gives that easily? And do you think investing in casino is a good idea, by the way? Thank you.

most of them don't give much information about their income which is really weird since they are asking for investments. but the only thing you can do is to see the history and read some feedback about that site, or find someone else that has been investing in the site you have in mind. one example of these is gamblingcasinoreviews guy that numanoid gave the link to his topic.

but you should always remember that no matter what happened in the past, in the future you are still investing in a gambling site and in gambling, if the site is  fair it means there is a chance a whale wins a big amount and you lost profit.

3890  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How To Make Bitcoin A Better Stable Currency ? on: February 02, 2017, 06:24:00 AM
I have a magical plan to expand the Bitcoin market with price stability and scaling Bitcoin transaction without breaking the rules. I need some assistance from Bitcoin community. This is the forecast: if you own 10,000 BTC it has m.arket value xyz. If people stop buying Bitcoin means your Bitcoin holding value will be xyz - can, you will loose money. So let us work shoulders to shoulders to implement Bitcoin market development strategy. It will definitely increase the value of Bitcoin up to 150% to 200% percentage. This will increase the value of your Bitcoin holding. You will gain a lot. Contact me.
I-Am-Not-Anonymous; Am I ?

care to explain your thoughts a little bit here? most of your sentenses doesn't make any sense! i don't know if your English is bad or mine or if you are rushing to post something, forgetting you have lots of comas, dashes, dots,... in wrong places!

how can you own 10,000BTC it is worth 9.8 million dollars if you start today and you are saying nothing more about what you plan to do with this amount! how can having this much bitcoin make price of bitcoin stable!

and as it was pointed out how can it be stable and still rise 200%!
3891  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Looking to talk to the LTC developers on: February 01, 2017, 07:58:20 AM
Any bug report for any altcoin should be submitted through their repository on github: https://github.com/litecoin-project/litecoin
go to issues https://github.com/litecoin-project/litecoin/issues and open up a new one adding and explanation of your bug. and if you are familiar with the code enough and know how to fix it then fork, fix the bug and make a pull request.

3892  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Favorite type of gambling? on: February 01, 2017, 07:37:04 AM
Give your vote to any kind of gambling, is that the betting on soccer games, playing poker, roulette, online gaming, live gaming....??

it mostly depends on my mood and the situation i am in Smiley
for instance most of the time, anywhere i am and any device i have (PC, Phone,...) i can play dice games easily and with a fast speed.
but there are times that i enjoy playing poker games, but those times are usually offline and with my friends face to face so there is a big limitation on it.
3893  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bitcoin address: 38HNkYJSPDbNXdxmotJVzjstR7rfG5gDGj on: February 01, 2017, 07:30:03 AM
sorry to tell you this but it is your own mistake for using an "unknown" blending service. your bitcoins are possible stolen now.
the only thing you can do is to contact the support and discuss your issue with them and next time try to use a reputable mixing service instead of a random place. also make sure to read some feedback about that service you choose before sending your coins there.

check out bitmixer.io it has been around for many years and it is well trusted now.
3894  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Could BTC ever become fast enough to function as a single world currency? on: February 01, 2017, 07:25:29 AM
BTC just does not have enough coins for worldwide adoption.

there are 2,100,000,000,000,000 coins (units) going to be available at maximum.
right now there are more than 1,600,000,000,000,000 units available for people to use.

wait but if there are only 7,000,000,000,000,000,000 people on earth will this be enough?

the population is 7.5 billion and it is said in short scale (not the European long scale) meaning it has 9 zeros which looks like this 7,500,000,000
see it here: http://www.worldometers.info/world-population/

also who said every single person in the world is supposed to or even going to use bitcoin? are they all using USD, are they all invested in Gold? ....
3895  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Could BTC ever become fast enough to function as a single world currency? on: February 01, 2017, 07:16:05 AM
There is a thought I've had. If BTC were to go past the moon and crush all fiat currency it would undergo far more transactions than it does now, more than SegWit could account for. Is there any way that BTC could become fast enough to function as a single or primary international currency through further updates yet to be determined without upping the block size to 1 TB per block someday?

yeap, that is why we need scaling. and at some point things will become bad enough that we will be forced to accept it. but it doesn't have to be a huge amount.
and by the way transactions are super fast. when you send a transaction it takes second to reach everyone. the confirmation takes time.

BTC just does not have enough coins for worldwide adoption.

there are 2,100,000,000,000,000 coins (units) going to be available at maximum.

3896  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Mass Adoption even possible.. on: January 30, 2017, 07:46:19 AM
Cryptos are almost like stocks and most people have no interest in learning stocks even though the stock exchange is trusted platform.

Thoughts?

I think that mass adoption is possible only if bitcoin becomes a more "offline" currency.
By "offline" i mean that you won`t always need electricity and internet in order to use bitcoins.
The purpose of bitcoin is to be a digital currency,so mass digital adoption is impossible,i guess.

Casascius coins or paper wallets (notes) accomplish this.

then what is the point of using bitcoin?!
using paper wallets (notes) or physical coin or anything like that means trusting a centralized place to print them honestly and that everyone trusts them. this sounds so similar to fiat (paper money printed by government) then we are better of using fiat then.
3897  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are you Rich from Gambling? on: January 30, 2017, 07:40:07 AM
- I'm not sure but I think to get rich from gambling is a crazy thoughts, Gambling can make you rich quickly, but it can also make you lose all the money
- Want to be rich are forced to take risks, but the risks of gambling is so big and I'm not brave enough to test

Usually many people have crazy thoughts, to get rich from gambling. Even many time, i also thought. But reality is always different from our thoughts,, and gambling has a big difference. Because when ever we did first bet than all inexperience persons always have one thing in the mind, may be gambling could help to get rich, but after the passing time, gambling touch us a big lessons.

well making profit from gambling is possible and also losing money in gambling is also possible but becoming rich or poor from gambling is a whole different story. to get rich you need to make a very huge profit from gambling or you have to make a very huge bet and make a normal profit on that. and both of these are impossible in my opinion because of how gambling works. you can't really take risks that big and get away with it.
3898  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Losses on: January 30, 2017, 07:35:41 AM
Gambling losses usually happens when you are about to play gambling into extreme activities, all of your investments is always at risk lossing in an instance. One thing that you can consider is that time you play and lose then you bet again for lucky winning, but you failed in a long round that's why it resulted to lossing in the gambling game.
With extreme feeling, you forgot to play it right. It will usually happen as there are people who really cannot control themselves when it comes to gambling, it is risking your money and when you see your money is losing while you still have something to bet, you will continue until you get back what you lose. The only stupid decision we are doing is when we do not realize that every bet we make has a disadvantage on our part so in the long run we lose.

that is where gambling bots come in, because when you use a bot which is a computer program that you tell it what to do before with a sound mind, that bot is never going to get out of its way to make bets for you. so in case you get emotional or make a mistake in gambling that bot eliminates all of that with automation.
3899  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What determines the price of Altcoins? on: January 30, 2017, 07:27:17 AM
In general, what are the reasons that determine the price of altcoins? Does it change according to the bitcoin?

the only thing that can always determine the price of anything is supply and demand, the demand in altcoins is traders wanting to buy it or not, meaning if they are accumulating for a pump or if we are experiencing a pump.

and price of altcoins with bitcoin, depends on which altcoin we are talking about. a handful of them are affected by bitcoin price but the rest are moving independently.
3900  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [FACTS] There is NO Innovation. on: January 30, 2017, 07:21:39 AM
there are lots of innovations!
there are new ways to make a shitcoin look like a legit coin,
new ways to scam people out of their money,
new ways of pumping the coin,
new ways of premining, ICO, controlling all the supply yourself as a dev whale,.... and they find newer ways each day.
the most recent one which was big is the marketcap manipulation that i keep saying and coins like ETH do (huge supply, control all the coins, price goes up, marketcap grows, rank goes up, hype goes up, price rises, dump and become a millionaire overnight Grin)
