3881  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Advice for Bounty participants on: January 07, 2019, 04:02:58 AM
~snip~
Everyone has their own saturation points, have their respective weak points and have their own boredom. If they just pass it by occasionally it's natural and humane, but if they keep on to miss good projects and only choose projects that don't produce anything, this indicates something is wrong with them.

Being a bounty hunter doesn't only rely on luck, not just obeying the opinions of others that the project is good or the project is bad, it is a mistake that must be corrected. Bounty hunters must have their own position, must have their own way to determine a good or bad project. So when they understand their respective standpoints, they can make an evaluation in every project they have followed, and continue to improve so that they can get a large profit from the previous project.
3882  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is Gambling addiction a disease? on: January 07, 2019, 03:41:34 AM
Gambling addiction is one of the major keys that you should know you are doing wrong, and that is one thing you need to mainly avoid when you are gambling because there's no use if you just kept on losing and losing and by the time you depleted all your money that's the only time you'll start to regret and that is why it is hard when addiction takes you, especially in gambling.
Everyone has a different dose of addict, maybe you can't make sure when someone is gambling but he loses every gamble and he still gambles I guess he has a different dose of addict with the dose of the addict you mean.

Sometimes they will realize that what he did was wrong when he got a win, because he was satisfied with the target he wanted to achieve. I have a friend and he is a gambling addict, privously he got suffered a big loss but he the next day he gambled again and won with a greater amount of money than his previous defeat. I just weird when the next night and a few days later he didn't back to gamble place then I got his answer that he was satisfied with gambling.

3884  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum is the king of all altcoins on: January 06, 2019, 12:17:49 PM
ETH is the most popular altcoin for every investor, some projects have made ETH continue to grow even though previously the ETH position was taken over by Ripple but it can be handled well.

I guess ETH developers have good capacity to make updating systems that are on ETH properly. And now, just counting the days for the hard drive arrives and I'm sure that sooner or later the price of ETH will slowly increase.
3885  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Holding coins on: January 06, 2019, 12:09:53 PM
although many people who say that storing our coins in exchange is risky, I keep them in exchange for reasons that can be easier to trade.
Maybe what was meant by the OP is for investment not for trading. Yeah it's very funny when you trade but you store it in the hardware wallet, this doesn't make sense.

Unless, You choose for long term investment then the best place to store your coins is the hardware wallet. Even though there are only a few exchanges that are hacked but a wary when you intend to investing is very important, you won't know what will happen afterwards.
3886  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [Question] What will happened to Bitcoin if there's no miner? on: January 06, 2019, 04:30:59 AM
Turn off the internet and kill all bitcoin miners then bitcoin will die.

However, this is difficult to hap because every miner already understands the profit that will gets when he becomes a bitcoin miner.

You can imagine when the price of bitcoin is in the range of $1 or $2, there are still bitcoin miners, it doesn't go away.

3887  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Today is the 10th anniversary of Bitcoin on: January 06, 2019, 04:11:29 AM
It has been 10 years since Bitcoin was born, and it remains unclear whether virtual currencies like Bitcoin will become a new currency, a revolution in payments or a change in the global economy. Predict it or not.
For being a new currency, to be honest, it is indeed difficult, if it is intended that bitcoin be used as a legitimate payment instrument and recognized by every country and even being a virtual currency that can replace the function of fiat currency, I guess that is very difficult.

However, bitcoin will be an excuse that everyone will use a virtual currency like E-money to be used for daily life on the grounds that the use of E-money is very practical and safe to use compared to money paper. Nonetheless, it can make bitcoin known by many people, everyone will get used to the virtual currency so as the concept of bitcoin can be easily accepted/be understood by everyone, compared to today everyone still does not believe in virtual currency or digital currency.
3888  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much did you make from gambling in 2018! on: January 06, 2019, 03:43:54 AM
I didn't get much profit from gambling in 2018, except that every money I get will be collected to gamble again. I always separate money to gamble and money for investing as well as the yield of both. This is an anticipation when my wallet is thinned because I lost the gamble so I have to try to win even though in the end luck will decide to win the bet.
My only advice I can give to people is this... don't keep your entire BTC stack on the gambling site. This is due to risky hack risk or simply by hitting the MAX bet button by accident. Or by thinking that the 20th roll won't be a loss on martingale and basically lose another 50% of all your savings in 1 bet trying to break-even.  Many who tried to "break-even" went "broke" instead of "moderate losses".
Also agreed with it, when someone has a lot of capital at the gambling site, the risk of losing will come to him. The risk of hacking and the most damaging is oversee one's passions when gambling, maybe everyone knows how someone behaves when they gamble, most of them will use their desires rather than their minds.
3889  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are some unique advantages of online gambling ? on: January 06, 2019, 03:23:24 AM
I don't see any advantage of the gambling. All of my friends joined and played gambling, but all of them are loss. At the first when play gambling, the profit is high but then is always lose and lose. So that I think gambling is a waste of time and not an advantage, the disadvantage of this is more than the advantage. A lot of families is broken up due to this game.
we are not discussing the essence and benefits of gambling, but we are comparing online gambling with conventional gambling or offline gambling like in casinos. and I think that something online have a function that is simpler and more flexible, thats why online gambling makes you simpler in gambling, you don't need to go to the casino to gamble, you just have to open your gadget and gamble
The fact is will always be like that, there will always be people who aren't on the side of gambling, even though it most likely that he never gambled and only heard from some people about the negative side of gambling. For the problem of online gambling and conventional gambling both have advantages and disadvantages even though this depends on the gambler himself.

When you come to conventional gambling and you lose when gambling, leeway for you will not gamble again on the same day, it may take several days for you to come back again. In other hand, for online gambling I guess when someone meet a loss he will continue to gamble without thinking of the money in his wallet, because it does not take long to gamble again.
3890  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Manny Pacquaio vs. Adrien Broner on: January 06, 2019, 03:03:46 AM
Though it's a lot of anticipation about Manny to win this game, there's always negative side of it. People love watching fight that will give them entertainment and they are expecting a good one coming from this two fighters.
Every fight is business, pac-man will not just give up and so with Broner, they are prodigious and professional fighters. Pac-man continues to practice even though Broner is arrested because he does not have a driving license, because he believes Broner will come in the match later. I guess this fight will present a lot of entertainment, a high gamble to save everyone who sided with him.
3891  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto fell into wrong hands in December 2017 on: January 05, 2019, 06:32:32 PM
Most of the people who joined the crypto community at the later part of 2017, especially December were not any real crypto investors. They just heard about the booming prices and decided to join and also make profit. They don't know the potentials of the blockchain technology and the future it holds and that is why now that prices are down, they have all left the market and its left the real crypto enthusiasts. They are those who are seriously doing panic selling over the markets
Maybe it was one of the reasons why the price of bitcoin and altcoin experienced a very significant increase that year, at least it made many people familiar with cryptocurrency. You can see the other side of the incident, when many people know cryptocurrency even though those who invest get a loss but this can make them come back easily when in the next few years cryptocurrency is well received by each country. Honestly, giving someone an understanding of cryptocurrency so that he wants to buy and invest in it is very difficult, need strong evidence so that they believe that cryptocurrency has a value.
3892  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: the house always win???? on: January 05, 2019, 06:20:03 PM
There seems to be no effective way to beat a house, because the house always wins. Gambling is a business so it won't let gamblers win every game, because if it happens it will definitely suffer losses. We can win several games but overall we will definitely experience defeat. Will go bankrupt if the gambler always wins in gambling. So there will be no way to defeat the house and we have to gamble with limits.
There are several attractions so that every gambler doesn't move when they get a bet. Every gambler only focuses on the gamble/game he does, not to thinking about what will happens if he continues to win every game and then he leaves because he wants to make the house go bankrupt. However, this is only a way for everyone to get gambling, actually no one is harmed just depends on someone's attitude. They are free to choose gambling and misery because they cannot regulate their passions when they gamble.
3893  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The longer you play poker the better you become ? on: January 05, 2019, 05:45:53 PM
Gambling is synonymous with luck, yeah maybe everyone has the same thoughts about it. I have an experience with my friend, he doesn't like to gamble but he knows how to play poker, so one day I invited him to play poker and give him money to make a bet. I don't know what happened but he was able to multiply the money I gave, and I just thought it was just luck.

But he said to me, when you gamble try not to focus too much on the money you spend, even if you have to forget money or win, just focus your mind on the game. That incident made me think, not all gambling was determined by luck. But a skill or a good way of gambling can lead you to get plenty of opportunities for luck.

3894  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you gamble or think it's a waste of money and time? on: January 05, 2019, 05:17:31 PM
I will rather invest my money in altcoin than try my luck in gambling. Not unless they are giving free cash when playing.  Grin
Everyone has their choice, for those of you who don't like gambling, you will choose to invest rather than gamble, as well as gamblers they prefer to choose gambling rather than investing, especially in altcoin.

However, I cannot distinguish between gambling and investing, especially investing in cryptocurrency. After hearing a lot about investors who only rely on lucky when choosing a coin, even most of them only accept suggestions from others when choosing a coin, this is pointed out investing in cryptocurrency only relies on luck for some people, and this makes no difference with gambling.
3895  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: God of winning be with all the gamblers in 2019. on: January 05, 2019, 04:47:20 PM
Hard to said this but we must be truth to ourself.  Gambling is the most risky among all the investments ventures and it is really very difficult for you to continue making profits.  I believe that currently we should not hesitate to make this prayers that God should put his favor on us and for us to keep making many winning trade than 2018.
It sounds interesting if God answer what you want or every prayer is lightened by the gambler.

I'm not sure if gambling is a must thing avoided by everyone, there are many facts that show some gamblers who make their income to provide for their families, that is a noble task.

Maybe if you gambling and intended to provide for your family or to fulfill your daily life, then God will answer every prayer that you want, including win when you are betting.
3896  Other / Meta / Re: Bitcointalk mass hacking... Look at seclog now! on: January 04, 2019, 06:50:07 PM
There are 5,895 accounts woke up in last 30 days. The dead accounts waking up always do not mean that they were hacked. Legit user can login to their accounts after long time. I am not sure how long you need to be inactive to have this woke up log for your account.

Not sure I can call it legit, mate .

this mass comeback is really strange.
maybe somebody found an old dump with PWs and all the old are used now.

somebody should find a similarity between all the accounts.
date of registration?
last login before the comeback?
That's what I mean , strange and insane!
I just want to warn everybody here to be more careful with this unusual activity.

I just can't understand how my unique password got hacked , it must be a phising or something but I do aware about that. Or a Keylogger which I do aware about it too.

3898  Economy / Economics / Re: PREDICTION IS SOMETIMES LIKE A FALSE PROMISE on: January 04, 2019, 04:56:25 PM
Anyone who predicts cryptocurrency prices will see the previous data first, especially an expert.

Most of them believe that history will repeat itself, especially in a market, but keep in mind that every price change is not limited to a prediction or just caused by every trader, but there are many factor that can change price drastically like the various parties review the function/use of cryptocurrency which is they can change their views on previous decision, this problem which caused to the price cryptocurrency fell at 2018.

And maybe there are still many other problems that cannot be predicted with certainty. In other side, cryptocurrency investors still only rely on their appetite to choose investment without looking for detailed information in advance about cryptocurrency, so as when the decline comes they do not have a solid foundation to hold out.
3899  Economy / Speculation / Re: How to BUY BITCOIN at the "right" price on: January 04, 2019, 03:59:10 PM
Only saw an attidude most people in the crypto market that has been acute, especially in this forum.  One thing that will continue to hap in the cryptocurrency market, everyone is confused to decide to buy bitcoin because they are looking for a low price more than that, but when the price reach a lower price like now $3800, maybe you can imagine the decline price from $20.000 to $3800 was a deep decline, but they are still confuse to start buying.

Another thing is HODL, many of them have already gotten a large profit but they are just waiting until the price continues to rise and they forget the price of bitcoin is not as creamy as they want it to be until prices fall back again, eventually they will repent it.

However, an analysis is really needed so everyone has their own target when deciding to buy and sell. Like panic selling, indeed, everyone will see a panic seller is negative but when he decides to buy because he knows the price will go down from that price, then they choose to sell. The point is just to save from a big loss besides that he can buy bitcoin at a price cheap so that it can reduce a loss previously experienced.
