I received an email from support saying I was trying to withdraw from an alternative IP address and i need to make a deposit into my account to confirm the new IP address
I have the same issue right now. DGEX seems to be oblivious on the fact many people might be depositing BTC from other exchanges so it would be highly unlikely addresses used with previous deposits will be used again. It is a serious issue if merely replying on DGEX support email is not enough to verify account ownership. BTC-e, Cryptsy, Poloniex and possibly more exchanges are fine once withdraw is confirmed over email but DGEX is not. At the same time and contrary to mentioned exchanges, when it comes to DGEX there are delays everywhere except with trade execution. So what will happen if DGEX user can't deposit any more BTC from address or addresses used with previous deposits?

Buying 10 GoxBTC for my real 3 BTC but only the following way (since I do not have Gox account or wanna make one):
1. Only very known forum users matter, anyone who just joined or is not highly active do not bother contacting me, thanks! 2. There will be no Gox > Gox transfer of BTC, coins you owe me will be paid out to me only if Gox enables BTC withdrawals. 3. I will post my BTC address here so anyone can check if I received 10 BTC or not (if not, scammer accusation is guaranteed).
Now 10 GoxBTC for my real 2.5 BTC

Snailbrain, is there any chance to reduce the number of writings the wallet is doing on SSD?
I have SSD, but it does not help. Today's impossible to play, this problem should be solved. http://www.softperfect.com/products/ramdiskOnce you create RAMDISK, shutdown Huntercoin and copy it's whole data directory to RAMDISK. Then use -datadir command to tell it location of data directory on RAMDISK, for example if it is drive X and directory name is HUC than use -datadir=X:\HUC to start wallet. Size of RAMDISK should be at least 1.5 GB I'm using both RAMDISK and high-performance SSD and Huntercoin still occassionaly freezes but not for long, around 1 minute maximum. You and others can thank me on HGkEyaxqEKSPH9dVUzZAiYWa9DkfhWHcsk ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) 0.00000000 HUC received ... no one feels like sending some or even just reply with "Thanks", really? Community all time low, it seems. ![Undecided](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/undecided.gif)

My red lamp is almost fully lit which means it is highly likely a scam. Highly unlikely they will open an exchange, do not send them BTC!

SuperStake eligible in 30 days 40%+/-
40% +/- what exactly? The way it is written one could asume he might actualy lose up to 40% coins upon generating PoS block! Another thing not mentioned anywhere is how PoS mining works, is it different than PPC or all it takes is: 1. have unspent inputs (coins) older then 30 days 2. tekcoin.conf server=1 rpcuser=someusername rpcpassword=somepassword 3. walletpassphrase pwd 9999999 true (in case wallet is encrypted and locked). ![Huh](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/huh.gif) I'll respond to myself since no one else seems to care or know. PoS works, got 2 blocks overnight each returning over 40% coins, FTW! ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2F7L9p9PE.png&t=663&c=7MG6Uv_0jZe6kw) Block explorer is down, any replacement?

You also might try mcxnow. They recently added Max coin due to all the hype and had issues, but I like their interface and all the transfers are really fast. I think they have fixed their previous issues due to the big Max launch too.
Do not deal with anything that has to do with RealSolid (mcxnow included), guy is scammer or at least very untrustworthy person! You guys playing on his exchange or dealing with him are asking for troubles and I do not doubt you will get them, sooner or later. Anyway, what is exchange rate for MED? I'm looking to buy USB Erupter for MED but not sure if 700 MED is the right price, any help? I asked guys selling those devices for MED what colors are available so here it goes, a picture showing all colors available right now. ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2FxRNm2ME.jpg&t=663&c=QAqmhSTdV57sHw) Faucet is not working, I can't recall when it was last time I received some MED. For at least few weeks all I got was "result: null" ![Embarrassed](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/embarrassed.gif)

Cryptsy is big exchange but lags badly. Cryptocoiners coined a word "Craptsy" not without a good reason, you know. I suggest you to check with guys at Poloniex, their platform is stable, fast and runs with no major issues. They seem to be very open to innovative cryptocoins so why not? So far I have deposited and withdrew various cryptocoins there in excess of 10 BTC total, no issues at all. https://poloniex.comCheck their FAQ.

Ljudi nece dozvoliti da DOGE nestane.
Postoji vec veliki community koji je iza tog coin-a.
A cuj, ako si zaista uvjeren u to onda prodaj sve sto imas i stavi u DOGE, sta drugo da ti preporucim ...

If asics/gpus go out of the mining business?? that would mean bitcoin also dies ? not sure what you mean tbh
I'm not sure if it makes sense to debate with people who belive major dropout of miners for a very long period of time can't happen. read my post again.. i don't think you understand.

Hes obv trolling.. I'm trolling yet no one can move HUC to Poloniex in case of a major shit happening right now. Yes, I have no clue and I'm troll, LOL! All your coins are belong to dev:null ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif)

thanks, we looked at it, but think it could have some vulnerabilities or need a lot of work..
once more than 1 pool is mining, and daemon is fixed, i think it will be ok
It will not be OK unless there is a mechanic used to insure cryptocoin does not "pause" once major hashpower drop happens. All you developers are playing with fire and it will end up in dissaster sooner or later. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) mate.. don't worry - do you know the reason why we implemented dual algo? ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Ain't gonna help if majority of both ASICs and GPUs go out the mining business. Most people think cryptocoins are super cool and resistant to anything but I know of few flaws that are real killers, if any of them happen right now it would be a game over for sure. I would really like to know why no one is working on those major issues. This feature, that feature, well check Huntercoin now, it is so dead! The next block in ... few days? Imagine if HUC becomes widely used as currency, it would practically "pause" civilization!

looks like pool stop mining.. probably daemon crash (this will be the next bug to fix.. hopefully the last major one ) .. maybe something else... investigating
That is partial solution. If you find time please check artificial downward difficulty retarget implemented with Bitcoin Testnet and artificial difficulty halving that was implemented in older version of Terracoin. Former one works perfectly but it temporaly drops difficulty to 1. Once block is found it then rises difficulty back to previous value and retargets in classic way every 2016 blocks. Dropping difficulty to 1 with Huntercoin would probably be overkill in terms of orphans though. Terracoin had it a bit different, it was artificially halving difficulty but an error there was it was doing it permanently so smart guys with a lot of hashrate exploited the mechanic and later Terracoin developer changed the code. Combination of mentioned two mechanics should be added to any and all cryptocoins and I still wonder why developers are stuborn there. Code already exists, it just need a minor adjustments. 1. Artificialy halve difficulty if block is not found within X minutes. 2. Halve it again if block is still not found after X + Y minutes. 3. Drop difficulty to 1 in the worst case scenario (no block found within some tolerable period of time). 4. Once block is finaly found retarget the usual way. X = 1 minute, Y = 1.5 minute, the worst case scenario = 5 minutes or any other values you think would best suit Huntercoin. v1.00.04 rocks, keep up the great work! ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

I have like 14k ZET stucked somewhere in a black hole or something, transaction was never broadcasted to network yet 14k ZET were never returned to my balance. Incident happened like a week ago, can I have some help?

the only people that CAN do a 51% attack is f2pool, who have the most coins - so that would be extremely unlikely ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) otherwise their own coins (they have the most, 40k+) would become worthless well.. it's possible to add insane amount of sha256, then do selfish mining(?), and try to prevent scrypt getting in.. I know, just writting stuff without much rethinking. I have edited my previous post, check it above. Suggestion for people who use slower computers, especially if HDD is going nuts, is to add printtoconsole=1 to your huntercoin.conf file of start Huntercoin wallet with -printtoconsole=1 option. It prevents writting any new data to debug.log file. If that file does not exist it won't be created so the result is much less writting to HDD which equalls better performance. Donation welcomed to HGkEyaxqEKSPH9dVUzZAiYWa9DkfhWHcsk thanks matey It still makes me go hmmm why no debug output is printed to console though. I though option will redirect data from debug.log to Help > Debug window > Console but that is not the case.
