Proof of Concept: TEKcoin is now in its second year. There have been modest changes to coding and wallets during that time as with all evolving concepts. With one more planned change to code for fairer distribution and to control inflation we feel we have reached a milestone we consider to be the Proof of Concept Era. For TEKcoin holders and early adopters this means a very bright future which will be constantly updated on our website.

Proof of Stake: TEKcoin pays supporting coin holders using Super Stake Eco-minting. TEKcoin pays a high % variable rate  interest on coins in your wallet that have not been moved for over 30 days. The Super Stake payment rate varies depending on Proof of Stake(PoS) mining difficulty. PoS diff can change quickly, if you mint when the difficulty is high your payment can be less.

Exciting new updates are coming for TEKcoin. The future looks bright for TEKcoin. Stock up now and ensure yourself a nice profit in 30 days with 40% stake.  If you want to play with the numbers try this calculator and select compound interest. http://ncalculators.com/interest/monthly-interest-calculator.htm

SuperStake eligible in 30 days 40%+/-

40% +/- what exactly? The way it is written one could asume he might actualy lose up to 40% coins upon generating PoS block! Another
thing not mentioned anywhere is how PoS mining works, is it different than PPC or all it takes is:

1. have unspent inputs (coins) older then 30 days

2. tekcoin.conf
Code:
server=1
rpcuser=someusername
rpcpassword=somepassword

3. walletpassphrase pwd 9999999 true (in case wallet is encrypted and locked).

Huh

theres nothing here. message me if you want to put something here.

I'll respond to myself since no one else seems to care or know. PoS works, got 2 blocks overnight each returning over 40% coins, FTW!

The custom font link isn't working for me...  the site seems to use a different download url format or something (new? like http://cooltext.com/Download-Font-Millennia ) and since I don't know what the font looks like or what it's called, I can't search for it.

Happily stake mining by just adding reservebalance=1 to config.

POFMined <- what's the F?

TEKcoin drying up fast.. people  pulling it off the market for stake.  20k  is all on the  sale side at cryptsy now.

Can you tell us more about how TEK wallet selects unspent inputs when user sends coins? Does it checks if such input is far or close to become a
stake for PoS block? In other words, if user has 2 unspent inputs 100 TEK each, first one 28 days old and second one 20 days old, will TEK wallet
pick second one when user sends 100 TEK? It should do that, picking first unspent input is not in an user's interest. Please check source code and
provide some more info.

theres nothing here. message me if you want to put something here.

As i understand and as seems evident from experience, the wallet will spend the youngest coins first and work its way back. So if you have 100 old send in 100 new.. then send out 100 .. it sends the younger ones out and the older ones will still stay in and keep the coin age. you could have a core stake amount and transfer new funds in and out , it only uses the newest coins it can first.

TEK block explorer
http://107.170.10.137:2750/

Ugly, but functional. It is on the current block - thanks to the blockchain from thundertoe.
I had a lot of trouble getting Abe to work with tek - so there are bugs that I'll be trying to clean up... if only mullick would let us know his secrets used on altexplorer.
No coins are kept on the server. I will try to make it pretty as time allows. And the JTeam said they may try to pull it onto their site...

Don't click on Tekcoin...an error I'm still working on.
But you can search or click on the block....

Hey StakeHunter...

We just got ours up and running.
http://explorer.jtcpools.org/tek/

You can find what altexplorer is using here: https://github.com/CallMeJake/BlockCrawler
Sorry for all your trouble! This one was easy - straight php. But you have to use an rpc to run it. So ours is empty as well.

Woo hoo tek block explorer!
Now all we need is a website and we can go to CMC. I think once its on there we'll see a jump in activity.

OK - I'll take mine down to tinker with it some more.
I think Abe is more feature rich - you can select a wallet addr and see the balances, and just see more...

But at least one is up.
As you said, the next step is the web and then I agree - CMC.
