3881  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin donation vs Bank donations on: June 05, 2020, 02:19:25 PM
They don't need to be force but for transparency purposes, they can publish their bank statement if those who donate will request for it, doing so will add some confidence to the people who donate that they also have a right to audit. I know for charity purposes most people who give donations does not ask for liquidation, but a per or institution who accept donation has the responsibility to be black and white.
Possible but not sure if anyone will bother to ask for it. I used to have a monthly direct debit with an organization who were looking after children in Africa. Every once in a while I used to receive thank you card from the children with the copies of the creative art works they were doing, a letter from the organization to thank me and other updates.

I never bothered to ask them for more. Those regular updates were enough for me to have this feeling that they are working know that the organization also runs with the money we donate.

That's because you trust them, you don't bother to verify how the ask are being spent, I understand, most people who make donations just give their full trust without a lot of questions, but mind you, even the church could be a corrupt institution, and in our country, a church already has a set of officers including the auditors which would verify the cash in/cash out of funds that the church own, and these are more trusted than those who are seeking for donation.
3882  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Manny Pacquiao Might Fight Golovkin on: June 05, 2020, 02:03:46 PM
What a coincidence.

I am just reading the Top 10 boxers of all time and Pacquiao is second in it.

https://www.spin.ph/boxing/mayweather-pacquiao-go-1-2-in-top-10-greatest-boxers-of-all-time-a793-20200603

Either way, I think Manny Pacquiao really showed how strong he is and he is not just considered one of the best, he already is one of the best boxers all time. He is the pound for pound king, and the funny thing is that Coach FR talking about Pacman running for Presidency which I don't think will happen.

Floyd rank at number 1 is unarguable, he was an undefeated champion, but I know most fans would choose Manny over him as Mayweather is boring to watch, he just love to run and score, he is a kind of boxer that knows how to manage the risk inside the ring, he called himself the money because he generates money, but I believe fans are buying tickets or paying PPV just to see him lose. Grin

If this fight happen, who is your bet?

Obviously my vote goes for Manny.
3883  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum (ETH) prediction | June 1 on: June 05, 2020, 11:50:30 AM
Thanks for your analysis, I believe they are preparing for the ETH 2.0 hype and some are buying at least 32 ETH to qualify the staking requirement. If indeed the launch will happen next month, then this month whales will start accumulating ETH to prepare for the hype.I believe it's good for short term investment at the moment, ETH has been stable so far and I'm expecting the price will significantly rise this month.
3884  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin donation vs Bank donations on: June 05, 2020, 11:27:09 AM
Bitcoin donation is more secure when it comes to accounting, but majority of the people trust banks than blockchain as only few of us are educated with crypto, and also, they will always consider the volatility of crypto which is risky if the price will go down, if there is a stable coin, then probably that is the best choice.
With crypto, we still have few decades to go if not centuries for everyone to recognize crypto like they do fiat these days. And when we are talking about a charity it really is the trust you put to the organization with the good faith that the donations you are making will be given to the purpose they are raising the funds. I do not think anyone will be forced to show you their bank statements.

3885  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The best device for online gambling. on: June 05, 2020, 11:01:01 AM
It depends on what kind of gaming you enjoy.

Exactly, if I play dice I use my computer but if I play sports betting, I use both as it does not require constant effort to bet, one click is enough when you bet in sports, the time spent to analyze is more time consuming than betting, and whenever I am on the go and I feel like putting my bet on live betting, I'm always comfortable with my cellular phone.

3887  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: June 04, 2020, 11:46:08 PM
Though this is really a good thing for I have think that NBA might not yet comeback this year or may have on December 2020.

They can't afford that, their will be a lot of people working under the organization that will struggle because of no income, and this would not gonna help the economy of the US which has been struggling now due to the big number of cases on covid-19.

I believe they will really push NBA to resume, but of course with proper measures since they will not get the approval if they have no safety measures in place just to ensure no transmission of covid-19 is going to happen again.

As per post above, the NBA season will reason late July or early August, that gives them a lot of time to prepare and I think they have been practicing already by now. (information) NBA is a big organization, they will not mess up this opportunity given to them, so I believe they will succeed on resuming the games, and we will once again start to make conversation here regarding the actual games we watched.

3888  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you gamble to escape your problem? on: June 04, 2020, 11:02:52 PM
Gambling is not a solution to the problem (whatever it is) but instead, it will fuel to become it worsen.
Yep, gambling while having a problem will be too risky and probably has a bigger chance to lose than in normal conditions. A person who has a problem shouldn't in a good mood and hard to control emotion. Also, he probably can't focus to play because still thinking that problem. In my view, it is better to hang out, take a vacation, or sharing with best friends/family if you have a problem. That's much better than forcing ourselves to have fun in gambling.
If you have a mindset about having fun only when going to the casino, you can still have fun because you will certainly just spend money allocated to gambling, just think that you are paying for that entertainment if you lose, and the good thing here is you have a chance to win. Compared to going out for vacation, that's a complete expenditure, you'll never have a chance to win,  Grin
3889  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: DEX's with MILLIONS in volume, COULD make you stinking rich, here's why. on: June 04, 2020, 10:42:19 PM
Decentralized exchanges are non profitable exchanges so users trade between themselves without any third party like service provider so you are not going to pay any fees but do you think which could make you a millionaire?

And many newbies shilling for Blocknet recently. Roll Eyes

ALL exchanges has fees, prove me wrong. DEX's is no expeption  to this, the difference is that the fees is collected by investors owning nodes on the network, and not a centralized entity such as Coinbase, or Binance.

If you run a node on the Blocknet plaform, you can take parts in thousands of dollars worth of fees every month. If we talk millions in volume, and only 200-400 active nodes on the network (due to a high entry barrier) it could be EXTREMELY profitable long term.

Of course that would be possible, but the question is if people are going to adopt the DEX like Blocknet plaform.
I can always see this in some of the post here in bitcoin,  I'm wondering if this project is already successful and running, sorry, I haven't been trading in DEX for a long time, but if this is what you are talking (https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/blocknet/), I think the volume is still small, it needs to improve.
3890  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you keep track of your gambling? how? on: June 04, 2020, 10:17:17 PM
I had to stop it when I noticed that the rate of loosing was kind of much more than the rate of winning, this makes me tense and since there was just a slight change in the record I discarded it because it's not adding to my winning strategy, I think record tracking ain't really important what's important is to know what strategy that is working for you

Perhaps I misunderstood you, but I want to clarify - if you do not record, then how do you understand which strategy works and which doesn't? From the point of view of common sense and mathematics, this can only be seen at some distance.

That is correct, because we like to see ourselves to be consistent with that strategy and that we can use it for long term. We can't just say that when we are gambling now and our strategy works, we will conclude that it's gonna work forever, that's wrong, we need to observed it if it would really bring us some consistent win too.
3891  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your Choice To Stay Longer Online Or Casinos on: June 04, 2020, 12:04:17 PM
Physical casinos still dominate gambling choices because they enjoy full gambling spaces and things like sexy women and loans.
LOL, this is the reason why people are addicted with gambling, with a chance to borrow money when you lose, that would only aggravate your loses since you will certainly enjoy with the sexy women around you. So, when you are in a casino, just learn to accept loses so you will not chase for your loses, that way you will enjoy and you won't go beyond your limitation.

We have a different opinion here and can't be denied when lockdowns all turn to online gambling.

Not all since there are gamblers who illegally to to casinos which are illegally operating, and not everyone knows how to gamble online.
3892  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you keep track of your gambling? how? on: June 03, 2020, 10:14:49 PM
I use Google spreadsheets to track my wins or losses on soccer bets..

snip..
So I stopped tracking and just gamble whenever I feel like. No track of wins or losses!
if you are a dice, crash or spin gambler (Pure gambling games rely on luck) it will hurt your heart if you track every losses and wins you get from gambling..  playing without weights is a wonderful feeling, people who play with weights (because the loss is greater than the win based on the monthly track) will only continue to incur losses..
This kind of games, it's not necessary to track it as you can never be consistent with it, the name it self that it's a luck based games, you'll only win when you are lucky and luck is not consistent in the first place.

Quote
but, if you are a skill-based gambler (poker & sports betting) then your losing and winning tracking are a good habit, why do you have to track every loss or win in that skill-based gamble, so you can know the flow of funds in and out of you and your able to manage your finances well..

I am only doing for sports betting, it's a long list since there are plenty of games offered in a daily basis, it just stopped when the virus hits the world.
3893  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stop blaming bounty hunters on: June 03, 2020, 09:55:37 PM
The main reason why a project becomes a landfill is that the project is not attractive to investors, they feel the project has no future and withdraw from it.
Besides, the rewards of the bonus program account for very little of the total coins sold, so it cannot be concluded that the bounty hunter affects the price of the project.
Exactly, it's the team members responsibility to attract investors and ensure that the coin will not dump because of the bounty hunters.
They are the one who set the bounty reward so they have a better picture on what will possibly happen in the future.

What I noticed is that, legit bounty project offers very little reward while bad projects offers big bounty rewards, it looks like the opposite is happening.
3894  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tyson vs Holyfield Charity Fight on: June 03, 2020, 12:36:19 PM
Fighters are mellowed by time and Tyson and Holyfield are two fighters that can prove this, I don't think they will throw away their friendship they've nourished that over the years and besides charity events should be as friendly as possible and there should be absent of competitiveness to the point that they can harm each other

And what's the point then?

But seriously, what's the point if they are not going to fight for real? People remember Tyson as a ferocious fighter with ears bitten off and opponents brought down, and they expect that from him. People know Holyfield as a dirty player, and, unsurprisingly, they hope to see even more foul from him in the ring. Personally, I'm not interested in a Tyson vs Holyfield fight where they don't live up to these expectations. Otherwise, they could just stay at home and keep posing on camera and posting their training routines. Let's get real here

Though they have already retired in boxing but they were once both professional, and they know how to do their job in the ring, while outside the right they can still maintain their friendship. There is no assurance yet that this fight but be a success but expect this one is not gonna be expensive as its just a short fight and the purpose is just for charity.
3895  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your Choice To Stay Longer Online Or Casinos on: June 03, 2020, 12:09:13 PM
Now that we are in Pandemic gamblers have no option but to stay more on online gambling

that is if the gambler are versatile or can be able to play on both online and offline but if a gambler is only capable on one environment then he will not engage in online gambling but he will only wait till the local gambling resume on thier place   .

there is also no reason to be bore because we have now many forms of entertainment whether its online or offline   .  on ofline , he can play sports like basketball or also soccer and  running if thier background is wide   .

There are gamblers who would go out to play because they don't know online gambling, in country where only few people know about online gambling, a lot of gamblers will certainly go out and look for a place to gamble. One example is the cock fighting, watching it in a arena is more fun than just betting on it live watching through live streaming, since when you are physically in a location, you can make better a better judgement.
3896  Economy / Reputation / Re: multi account questions on: June 02, 2020, 11:37:40 PM
Having multiple accounts is not against the forum rules, some accounts are given negative trust because they are found that they are cheating, most particularly in bounty campaigns. Tagging your altcoin account marking "it's your alt" is good because you are being honest, and if your main account or altcoin cheated, both accounts will be tag accordingly.

Members have different reason why they create an alt accounts, but as long as it never violate a forum rules, it should not be a problem for the owner.
3897  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: an important reminder: don't get killed in this bull run and protect yourself. on: June 02, 2020, 11:15:31 PM
If this is a bull run, I know I can do better this time, I've here during the last bull run and I have learned a lot.
This bull run would not only make us profitable on our bitcoin investment, but it would also help us to recover on our loses in altcoins if it will result to an altcoin season. But as we can see, bitcoin dump after it hit $10K, so are we set for a bounce back?
3898  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stop blaming bounty hunters on: June 02, 2020, 10:57:23 PM
If you are a bounty hunter, you should get used to it, investors can say whatever they want, so as the bounty hunters as we are in the free world.
They are blaming the bounty hunters but in reality they just want to see the price to dump more so they could accumulate, and there is no room for sensitive people in the crypto space as we are dealing with risk here and we should have enough control with our emotion.

as a bounty hunter, you can do whatever you want,  let them blame you by whatever their words are but once your job is over, you deserve to get paid.

So DUMP and don't look back.
3899  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Vaccine against Covid-19 should be made before sports events will take place? on: June 01, 2020, 10:47:27 PM
It's on the talks and rumors we have heard that some sports were already preparing themselves to get back on track. Just follow this section and you will see how many sports are in the talks of making a comeback. Some were already set and have schedule so there will be or no vaccine, they will go back in action. As long as they have certain rules to follow regards to the prevention of covid 19, they will be granted to be back again by their sports organizations and governments.

Some national championships have already resumed competitions. For example, the German Bundesliga in football. I think the rating of these competitions after such a break and deficit is huge for the fans. But for now they can enjoy the game on TV - if I understand correctly, the games are held without spectators in the stands.

Watching sports live in the venue nowadays is not fun, you like to enjoy watching your favorite game and yet you have the worries that you might get infected with the covid-19, I guess that is not good, you'll never have 100% enjoyment with what you are doing, as for me, I'd rather watch on TV and grab some beer and feel safe.
3900  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do not follow every market wave on: June 01, 2020, 10:30:11 PM
And I think I need to monitor the market, for every rise and fall. This is the only way to see the full picture. Of course, if the nerves are out of order. It’s better to invest and look at the situation once a month. But a lot can happen in a month.

Instead of monitoring the market, why not follow the basics of market by definitely studying the market
Study the market waves, market trends and do your own research too.

Studying the market includes monitoring the market, that would give you  a clear picture of what has been happening, you don't need to be an expert to determine what's going on, if you are actively monitoring the market, you can see it's behavior and there you can make a good decision.

By simply buying at dip and selling at peak, I think one can do that with good timing.
