My friend mined his first bitcoins on video cards in 2011 but sold bitcoin ilishkom cheap. If the memory is not changed when he sold them for 300 dollars.
Also in these years he collected sotoshi from different cranes, and accumulated about 0.5-0.5 bitcoin, but immediately sold for about$100-150 Wow imagine if he continued to mine and save the btcs instead. That could be a serious amount of money right now. Few of us who were exposed to btc early imagined that it would come to this. Perhaps an ico or an alt that has less value today may follow suit :p |

Golden State Warriors had the bigger percentage than Houston Rockets to win it all this season specially now that Stephen Curry is set to come back in the next round of the playoffs. The Warriors are just too strong and seems to me a well oiled machine. Likely a repeat especially if steph returns but this season's a bit different. With teams like the bucks, boston and the wolves surprising, matchups have become more exciting. I wouldn't count the eastern teams out for the title as well here. The top four teams are capable of pulling one off over the warriors. |

A tremendous increase occurred over the past few days, I am increasingly optimistic that the Bitcoin price could reach a much higher level. I've seen this as an improvement, where bitcoin prices have been spared from stable prices that have lasted long enough. A lot of positive news has made bitcoin prices rise, this is a way to make trust in Bitcoin increasing. We need change and change to something much more in the way that Bitcoin views become the key to everything that happens today.
Yeah i am also surprised to see a big change in the price in just in a few days. People are waiting for a big jump in the price in a short time. But the current situation is not too good for bitcoin, and I am not sure that the price will increase too much in the coming days. To see this we will have to wait for some more time. Lose and gain is part of business. Its a good sign of recovery, if it continues to be this way without fuds and any banning, we might be able to earn a good profit now, holding is indeed worth waiting. Imagine what holding for a year or two can give you. I'm pretty sure there will still be challenges coming our way since this is just a small spike but you have to look at the bigger picture here. I used to use bitcoin, I know how it feels to go down in price and I also know how it feels to go up in price, so I will never leave bitcoin until if bitcoin is really extinct, because I believe that someday the price will recover even up...
Well it's a possibility that btc may lose value but crypto is much broader than btc itself. In the future, eth or ltc or even alts like xlm and trx may step up to be a major player in the market. Crypto will continue even without btc because of the technology that runs it. |

People always think for the worse,they convinced that it's not possible that the price pattern will be the same as the last year,but the reality proved them wrong.While the fact that we can't predict the exact price movement is true,there's nothing wrong to believe the prediction based on statistic,it's the most logical action that we could take.
Well there's nothing wrong about expecting the worse since you'll be a lot more prepared for whatever may happen. It will make you look a couple of steps ahead and be cautious with your decisions. Of course btc will always recover but what if it doesn't? You need to always have a fall back. |

That's undecided for me because for now, bitcoin is in a constant fall of its market price. It can only be a stable bitcoin market price if it will not rise or fall drastically for a couple of weeks, IMO.
Bitcoin can never ever have a stable market price and the reason is crystal clear. It is the part of crypto currencies and these digital currencies are attributed with volatile nature. They are not able to stay at one price for a long time span. Bitcoin is going to get an exciting ride to moon in a month or two which means the prices that it is showing currently are not stable at all. Stability is not for virtual coins. Traders use this volatility to get profits, and the biggest players are interested in non-stable prices of Bitcoins. BTC will be always flexible: we have to live with it. That's right. Well not at this point though and the next few years. Until the last satoshi has been mined then we'll probably see all these spikes upward and downwards every now and then. |

That is a very good progress. If we continue this way, April will be the first month of this year to finish with positive BTC's results. More investors are investing hard in Crypto-Currency in general. As World Cup approaches even more I think Bitcoin's price will continue rising. Maybe some little corrections meanwhile, but the currency will show its strength in the end.

I think no one knows what will be the exact things to happen after 5 years of bitcoin in crypto world. Bitcoin sometimes like a magic in the sky. It crash for few days then after crash it will recover and back again. Sometimes it goes beyond from its price before it crash. So in my opinion it will raise even it will crash.
That's one thing that i'm also confident about and i'm wondering why a lot of people find it hard to see it. Even if the price plunges, you just have to look back to previous drops and that would give you confidence that btc will eventually recover |

As we all know that all other cryptocurrencies prices tend to follow the fluctuation of Bitcoin. Today morning BTC price went up by $1000 only just within an hour. It's been a while since this big jumps. What do you guys think? Is it a good signal for all of us? This jump increase is due to good news about Bitcoin and some investors from wallstreet who will enter the market, we should be positive that after this quarter the bull trend will continue to run. I don't think it can be considered as a bulltrend yet at this point. Yeah the price increased quite a lot in a short time but it's not an indication of an actual bull reversal. Not yet. A lot can still happen and even now a few corrections are shaping up. I'm positive about this year but i'm keeping my expectations modest |

Hey ya'll, curious question from a newbie here. I was wondering what would really happen to everything if ever bitcoin does pop and lose a huge part of its value.

It is right you have curious question as a newbie, because when i was new in bitcoin then most of the strange questions come on my mind. But when i entered in bitcoin then my curious has been finished. I tell you only one thing that coming time is for crypto currencies time. In future people like to use online currency and in it, bitcoin will be best. We can't say that it won't happen since anything can happen. Bitcoin may reach it's end value or completely depreciate but i don't think that will be the downfall of crypto. There are far too many alts now that can step up in btc's place. |

Part of the reason for the crash and the current low price for Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies is lack of confidence of investors.
This is the result of all the factors you mentioned but this goes in cycles. There will be good news and at times there will be a series of good news coming out. Then investor confidence will increase, buying and demand will increase, and the price will rise.
One of the factor that people loses hope in bitcoin is that they are expecting more without even doing something, we should be able to do something for good that will benefit us so we can meet our expectations and not only complaining all the time. That's really true the complications are coming from people aren't trying their best to make bitcoin works. Losing confidence is a challenge for you to overcome. Because of that,you fear to accept critics and that triggers you to have lost the confidence in bitcoin. So better yet try yourself to calm down and all the things follows. They lose confidence because they know very little about where they're putting their money into. If you expect to make big profit in a short time and end up 50% down, of course you'll lose confidence though you can't blame anyone but yourself for that |

Well your scenario is more likely to happen than a 5k plunge. Great analysis. I think that the $8.3k resistance is a level to watch for. We've now tested this level twice, and we'll see if BTC can breach it today as well. If BTC reaches or exceeds that level, it will most likely signal much greater growth upwards to the $9k resistance.
I don't think that we'll be looking at a regression back to under $7k any time soon, however, it's possible come correction of this pump that BTC does go that low.
I personally expect this rally to go to around $10k, then see a big correction due to downward selling pressure of the bears, before another period of bearish market activity. The main recovery isn't underway yet and probably won't be for a while.
Well it did touch the 9k resitance point but then as expected, a correction came in. We probably won't be seeing a 10k run just yet but who knows. At the moment, the run that started a few days back may have halted for a while. |

Well, very simple: This shows how easy the price of bitcoin can be pumped if there is FOMO. So imagine that big pockets move small amounts of their portfolios into bitcoin. Even without a ETF, we would be in $10,000+ in DAYS with continued FOMO.
People forget the marketcap for bitcoin is tiny, and rises can look like massive green candles easily.
This is a sign that recovery from dip is not difficult because we are not going to see more push before we see a good progress. The market is completely drive by emotions and you should hold in other to makes good profit in future. Fomo is a big push for bull runs like this and yeah i get your point on how a whale can start manipulating the price with a snap. Especially now that we're coming from a draining red first quarter of the year. People will have their hopes high in an instant with a little "pump". |
