3881  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: About Snooker Game on: February 09, 2022, 02:22:53 AM
I have hardly seen people discussed about Snooker unlike other games, mostly discussion about Football, Table tennis, poker much others.

my passion for Snooker all started when i was very little then, i follows my uncle to some joint where they plays over it but since i was very tender i never knew it was all for gambling. Anytime i sets eyes on snooker it keeps the memory awakes so gradually i picked interest about it. i can be liken to gamble over it.

please more discussion about snooker can be detailed here if you have any. i really want to gain more knowledge.

The probability that there are professionals in snooker here is quite small, I think if you are interested in knowing about this sport, it would be better to join specialized communities (I think there are corresponding groups in any popular social networks). When discussing snooker in terms of betting, this is the right place, but I have not seen that betting on this sport is popular with bettors and bookmakers and that they offer a wide selection on such sporting events.

This was my first time hearing about this sport, so I did a quick internet search and assumed it was a water game or that it was played on water or ice, but I was mistaken; it is a ball game that is similar to billiards, though I am not familiar with the specific rules of that game. In addition, I agree that there are only a few people on this forum who are familiar with these games; however, I believe that this will pique their interest, and they will watch the games and attempt to place bets as a result of their curiosity.
3882  Economy / Economics / Re: What is better - cryptocurrency trading or investing? on: February 08, 2022, 01:33:59 PM
Cryptos are definitely riskier than stocks etc. but if you know how to use information in your favor and research you can gain from this swingy market. My guess is that about 7% of winning standart traders are profiting long term in crypto markets. Leverage trading is the best tool to pain and gain. You have to be a gambler in other words and starting without good instructors and sources you will end up broke. By investing = hodling you just park a car and look how its get driven. Do you wanna drive?

I have been trading in both markets and I can also  say with certainty based on my experience that crypto is more volatile and riskier but highly rewarding. I know many crypto enthusiasts who made huge amount of money by airdrops, joining bounty campaigns on Bitcointallk without making any investment. Volatility in any market is also an opportunity to make profit if you know how to manage risk and that is the key of success in any market.

Agree with this because it really depends on you as an individual because first others will say that trading is more profitable while others will say that it is not, so what I say is that you should find your own strategy that you can earn from because almost all of the methods that are stated here are all working, some require money and some require effort, so find your own strategy that you can earn from. We are driven insane by the volatility of the coins because we could become wealthy in a single night or lose everything in a single night, depending on the situation.
3883  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are the most important features of an online crypto casino? on: February 08, 2022, 12:06:20 PM
^

I do not think that advertising activity can somehow be correlated with the legality of the gambling site. There are many gambling sites that have a controversial reputation and continue to arrange various bonus programs for users. In my opinion, it is better to pay attention to the reputation as it is quite difficult to earn and very easy to lose even in case of a few small cases of unfair play.

Well, if we are talking about reputation, it is extremely difficult to earn, but reviews are something that can easily be purchased online. Because there are so many reputable sites, reputation is no longer the most important factor to consider. Instead, we should look for new innovations or slightly different features such as bonuses and quick withdrawals. Since those who are new to the gambling site have a lot of benefits to offer its users, reputation alone will not be enough to keep the site afloat.
3884  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: IS it possible to let your BTC work for you ? on: February 08, 2022, 04:51:30 AM
As far as I know, almost all the platforms require KYC, and we can not ignore them. Yes, it is possible for bitcoin to make money for you but only in one condition that you should be secure and active enough to save your coins. Buying and holding aren't enough. You have to be much cleaver when you believe someone in bitcoin's community. We always lose our money when we invest BTC in any company and become scams.

Cases like that might be said to happen often and indeed, even though we are careful, the project or whatever it is becomes a scam,
most importantly do your own research before deciding to invest,
apart from that the scam is really unsettling

Agree to this but as you can see those scam project you can really see in feel that it isnt have an effort well , you can see small errors or grammatical errors which it gives you doubt about it since it should be perfect way since it shouldn't be sound scam. Also they really pump it , there are people that will posting it all over the social media
3885  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casino KYC how it works and to what effect on: February 07, 2022, 08:25:17 AM
It is primarily for the purpose of identification and to prevent attacks such as spamming on their website. It is also an additional layer of security to ensure that you are interacting as a human and not a bot. It is also because of their license that they require the user to complete a KYC. Well, my opinion on this is that I do not want true KYC because I only want to play and have fun without having to worry about my identity, but I believe that this is necessary for the website owner to keep their website safe from spammers.
3886  Economy / Economics / Re: If you don't buy don't come here to complain on: February 07, 2022, 03:42:30 AM
Cryptocurrency is a big gold mine that we should never ignore can those that bought at the top still have good chances to making it in the market because the market is going to get to the top and keep going before making a retracement. Those who bought Bitcoin at the early stage when the price is still $5 or even $100  are already in money which is one of the benefits of early adoption of cryptocurrency.

Moreover, these individuals are not dissatisfied with the current price. As you can see, the majority of newcomers are dissatisfied when the price drops because they are losing money rather than making money. This newbie, like the others, lacks knowledge and experience, and they are not paying attention to the historical chart. They are constantly ranting without providing any solid evidence; if they are ranting, we should suggest that they sell all of their coins instead.
3887  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What happens to my bitcoin if I die today? on: February 07, 2022, 03:35:02 AM
First and foremost, the likelihood of bitcoin dying today is extremely low, but it is still a possibility. If this occurs, we will have nothing to do because it has already died; we will simply have to learn to move on and will lose all of the money we have invested in it. Because the price is currently too high and there are a large number of holders, this is an extremely unlikely scenario at this time. Alternatively, the coin's owner will run the money or all of its holders will sell it so that no buy order will be filled will bring it to an end.
3888  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Still haven't sold a bit of BTC since 2013... if I can do it you can do it too! on: February 06, 2022, 03:42:17 AM
This is not dumb, it is really great since a lot of people now are into bitcoin and also regret that they sold their bitcoin earlier. You have now really enough money to invest more hoping that you can hold it more but i think this is easy on you. I also regret selling my bitcoin earlier but i really in need money so it is still okay
3889  Economy / Economics / Re: If you don't buy don't come here to complain on: February 05, 2022, 01:28:12 PM
Another opportunity has created for new investors to have some good coins listed in their portfolio. Many who bought higher now leave at the mercy of the market but for those who were scared of how high the price flew within a short time now has a better chance of joining the market at a good market value.

My agitation now is no one should come back shouting about missed opportunity in the future I think since late last year the market has been a bit fair to new investors giving them opportunity to join the train. Everyone can be a millionaire in crypto attitude towards market volatility is what makes the clear difference
the best time to buy Bitcoin is during a bear market (last January)...

now the price of Bitcoin has passed $40k and of course it will continue to rise and is predicted to return to $50k in March. until whenever the best time to buy is when the market dips, if you don't buy when the Bitcoin price drops to $32k (a few weeks ago) then you will wait a long time for the Bitcoin price to return to that number.
Hopefully in March the price of Bitcoin can really go back up to $50k,
when the Bitcoin price goes down it's actually an opportunity to buy it but indeed sometimes we hesitate to make a decision,
apart from that maybe we can buy some Bitcoins and the other half we invest in the top altcoins

This has a valid point. Don't put all of your eggs in one basket, so invest in altcoins that aren't necessarily the most popular, but are promising, because we don't know when Bitcoin will continue to drop. Right now, the price of bitcoin is low, making it an excellent investment. I am confident that it will rise in the coming years and reach a new all-time high. So, for the time being, it is best to buy bitcoin while also investing in altcoins.
3890  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A little reminder why Bitcoin is necessary on: February 05, 2022, 12:35:50 PM
This really hit me hard because I don't read user agreements because I think they are useless and time consuming, as others do; we just use their service and then after we get banned, we read their user agreement and figure out why we got banned. On the other hand, Bitcoin was created as an alternative payment method online because the fees were previously prohibitively high, and it also took too long to receive. This is why Bitcoin was created, and this is still its primary purpose. It is also now used as an investment.
3891  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What will be the next big industry move? on: February 03, 2022, 06:58:17 PM
It will end sooner or later, no doubt about that, but I think we can expect around 10 years more for it to last. Will NFT games replace all the other games, is not a question. Surely, it will never happen. The question is, what percentage of the current gamers may switch to NFT games? Will the whole gaming industry be turned on its head because of NFTs, as NFT supporters like to say?

Partially it will roll over (at least I hope so). I see a lot of downsides to NFT, but the situation in traditional games is even worse - I really don't like that when you buy a character/item you don't own it. According to any TOS, this character/item is fully owned by the developer, and you just bought a license to use it. It looks a lot like a scam, but that's the reality of things now. I hope the NFT fixes this.

What is the point of it? I have no idea, but if that is the case, then why are people buying it if you have only purchased it for licensing purposes? I believe you legitimately own it because you purchased it, but if the developer is a con artist, they could easily take it away from you. The way it usually works is if you read the Terms of Service, the dos and don'ts are usually listed there, and owning something is considered publicity because there is a transaction code as proof. Obviously, it isn't worth it if this is the situation.
3892  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Government Really Ban Crypto? on: February 03, 2022, 06:26:24 PM
In my opinion, yes Government can ban cryptocurrency, but it will be limited in the country in which the government bans the crypto.
The government is power, they have the official ad full power to decide any laws in the country. And once the government has banned crypto, they may also make some punishment related to people who are still in the crypto actviities.
But once more, they can ban crypto, but they actually cannot limit every single activity done by the citizens. Because sometimes, some citizens still concern with crypto industry, but of course, it will not be released or revelaed. Because if they notify themselves in the crypto activities, they may get some punsihment.
As long as government or other people don't know that we are doing in the crypto world, it may be safe.
But exactly, this ban officially will limit the activities in the cyrpto world.
I agree with what you said, if the government actually has the power to ban crypto, but I don't think the government will fully be able to do that, because decentralized transactions will be very difficult to stop by anyone, maybe now the government just needs to at least limit its use crypto as an investment, so that the government can also take advantage of crypto for the benefit of improving the economy of its people.

I believe the correct word is limiting, but I also believe it is banning because they will be closing sites on their IP, though this will be solved by VPN, but the point is that they are limiting the movement or process of bitcoin transactions, such as buying online or converting it to own fiat. Only a few countries typically prohibit the use of bitcoin because it could provide them with funds to help improve their economy.
3893  Economy / Economics / Re: Preparing for the future. on: February 03, 2022, 01:22:49 PM
Acquiring more skills is a good thing but finishing studies is an edge. It's better to have a title while doing the things that we enjoy as we earn more than what we expect. If there's a chance to earn more knowledge then we should grab it as long as it would make our future careers better. We're in the modern technology days so we have to deal with every opportunity that it offers
Degree and skills are both has its own importance.. But in my own opinion, skills actually matters.

A person who have much skills doesnt need any degree to succeed but having a degree without skills and lazy is useless. In real life,in order for us to survive we need to be skilled.Just like in business, yes you acquire a lot of information and knowledge but if you dont applied it and dont take any action, you cant make any money. In short, You are just wasting your time.

This has a point because it does not imply that just because you have a degree that you are an expert in everything. The vast majority of the people I know do not have a degree; even CEOs in businesses often do not have degrees at the outset of their careers despite the fact that they are successful and possess excellent skills. I do not have a degree myself, but I believe I possess excellent skills when compared to my classmates who do have degrees because I am more knowledgeable in our field. Now, the degree that matters to me is the position in a company that requires a candidate to have a degree, but in our field, skills are the most important thing to have.
3894  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The difficulty of explaining Bitcoin to people is massive on: February 03, 2022, 12:55:58 PM
Hey guys!

I have noticed that whenever people in real life find out that I use bitcoin, they ask me to explain it to them. For example, some family friends that are my age came over to my house around 2 weeks ago, when they arrived, I was looking at crypto graphs because I had a little bit of money saved up to invest. Bitcoin was on one of the charts, so when they walked into my room, they asked about it, "You do bitcoin? How does it even work?." So I started explaining it to them, but what they didnt get was that it is decentralized. When I was explaining it they asked "Why doesnt bitcoin's creator give himself a billion bitcoin?" I told them that it is impossible for the creator to do so since he doesnt have control over the network, but after I said that, they told me that I was wrong and that since He made it, he can control it, which is incorrect. Do you guys have any suggestions on how to explain coins to non-crypto people?

Oh well, they're a little bit of a basher but not really haha. When I talk to people about bitcoin, or even just open charts, they are amazed and say things like, "I'm sure you're making a lot of money out of that." When I talk to people about bitcoin, their first question is always, "How do we make money out of this?" I'm not sure how to answer because there are so many different ways to partake. I believe you should simply explain it based on your understandings because you already know that they will realize in the future that what you have said to them was correct.
3895  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I was finally able to purchase an iPhone 13 pro max using my Bitcoin on: February 03, 2022, 07:59:18 AM
It was still a good purchase because you paid for it with bitcoin, which is becoming increasingly difficult to find merchants who will accept bitcoin as a payment method. Although you have a valid point that you spent a significant amount of bitcoin to purchase that phone, it is only a charge to experience, so it would be a win-win situation for me. Although the price of Bitcoin is currently falling, it is still a good idea to increase your investment in the cryptocurrency. By the way, congratulations on your new phone; I am hoping to be able to purchase one in the near future.
3896  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are the most important features of an online crypto casino? on: February 03, 2022, 04:12:53 AM
...
I always think that payout speed added a good rating for a gambling site.
...

it doesn't surprise me that much because... I think this is a solved problem for all crypto casinos compared to FIAT casinos which require at least 24 hours or a few days for a payment to be issued. here funds received are definitely confirmed with few blocks...

When it comes to cryptocurrency, I believe that the biggest cryptos take a long time to confirm a payment, which does not imply that it is instant, whereas fiat is instant depending on the payment method, the faster the payment method, the higher the fees, which is a major issue. Unless there is a problem, I do not see any fiat casinos that require a 24-hour waiting period for withdrawals usually this are instant or takes hours , this really depends where you will be sending it
3897  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How will u feel if the price of one bitcoin exceeds $1million by 2030? on: February 03, 2022, 02:42:29 AM
If the price of btc exceeds $1million by 2030 maybe I will feel regretful and likewise many people. This time I use to blame people that met bitcoin 5 years ago why didn't they hodl. But it is not easy to hodl unless you are wealthy. There must be needs to spend the bitcoin at some points.

About countries adopting bitcoin, many countries may not make bitcoin a legal tender, but many countries will make the use of bitcoin lawful in their countries.

Bitcoin price was keep on low for now.The dump market is not a permanent one, we have to wait for the next pump.Holding is the key for the trading, most successful traders use it for the long term to get huge profit. The people who not hold before 5 years was struggling now with the money. The people who had invested and hold for 5 years was the greatest achievers now.Just holding will give you huge profit from the bitcoin.

Yes, they make a lot of money now, but they were still profitable when you invested 3 years ago because the price has doubled since then, so if we are looking for the price you also make money, but to those investors or holders who only invested a few years ago and they bought at ATH that are really not making money, but I do suggest that you are already in that situation, so it is better to keep holding, don't watch the price, just keep scrolling through social media until you saw ATH.
3898  Economy / Economics / Re: 02/02/2022 :( on: February 03, 2022, 01:41:12 AM
Nobody is talking about how greedy this rich people are, what good is a solution that can't make the rich gets richer? I'm saying even if the pandemic and inflation can be avoided rich and powerful people won't let it slide without getting something in favour back to them.

This is the most heartbreaking truth that exists in this world. They will tell you to invest in something and take risks because, before he became wealthy, he was at the bottom of the economic ladder. When it comes to investing, not everyone follows the same path as the wealthy, as most people lose money or invest to start investing. Additionally, if you don't have enough money to invest, you must take out a loan, which is the most difficult problem to overcome if you lose your capital. However, not all wealthy people are greedy; some are, while others are generous and willing to assist others.
3899  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: One Bitcoin on: February 02, 2022, 06:33:57 PM
Well done, OP.

You just unlocked and achievement that many have been craving to reach as their personal goal. While many are whining about how low or expensive bitcoin is.

There goes the people like you that are silently accumulating and achieving their investment goal. That's really one of the attitude of a real investor of knowing what he's doing and have the high level of patience.
Yes indeed some people only pay attention to bitcoin price movements, when bitcoin is expensive they complain because they don't buy it. When bitcoin goes down they also complain because they buy on ATH.
Actually they could do much more than that, if they could invest better, not just looking at the profits. It is true, when we invest profit is what we want to get. But with so much complaining, I'm not sure I'll make a profit.

These individuals are new to the market and are investing without sufficient knowledge because they are afraid of losing their money in small dumps. Whenever something happens with bitcoin, almost everyone is quick to voice their dissatisfaction. What people should do is think about making money in the long run and attempting to predict the future of bitcoin, rather than just looking at things over a short period of time and then complaining about them. Bitcoin's long-term prospects are extremely promising; therefore, don't just look around you; instead, look far ahead.
3900  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are your criteria to go back/sticking with one particular gambling house on: February 02, 2022, 12:59:17 PM
Instant withdrawal, fast support, various of games, mobile friendly and plenty of active players and i think these things can be considered why i always go back or stick to one particular gambling sites and it's common to see it because most people want to see these features available for every gambling sites but besides all of it i think the most important is comfortable that if i feel very comfort playing at particular casinos then i don't mind to go back daily or repeatable

That is an absolutely perfect casino, but they need to work on their withdrawal and customer service speed. As of right now, most websites are mobile friendly, and whether they have a large number of active players or not, as long as they care about their customers, that is fine with me.. Imagine yourself returning to their platform on a daily basis because you enjoy it and because they care about their customers. Oh, and didn't I mention the bonuses?  Grin This makes people coming back to the platform.
