looks like we've discussed it here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5324134.0... it looks like the news about this will last for the next few days 'lol'. I personally don't think the title 'master of coin' deserves to be pinned on Zach Kirkhorn. Oh sorry, I did not drop by the BTC discussion section so thanks for pointing out. Anyway, there is a point on having this on the economy section, since this prank looks more of an statement towards the Wallstreet suits than to bitcoin itself.

When you think of the Hamptons in USA, you are likely to picture a leafy area, close to the beach with nice uber-houses of the well-to-do and wealthy people of NY. However the sacred land of the Shinnecock Nation lays right around the corner, 90 miles from Manhattan and with an extension of 365 hectare (900 acres if you prefer) and they are about to open a casino by the road. Gaming is a major source of income for Indians living in reservations and has provided an increase in income for them, however this development is - as it could not be otherwise - controversial due to the opposition of the locals. The American Gaming Association estimates a positive impact of 100 Billion a year as of today with a constant growth in the past decades.![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.insider.com%2F513a8122ecad04e912000001%3Fwidth%3D1300%26format%3Djpeg%26auto%3Dwebp&t=663&c=4n1_kR85mdjzOg) Have you ever been on an Indian casino? Good experience?

Name: Grin Reference implementation (source code on GitHub): https://github.com/mimblewimble/grinIs the link above original code (as opposed to copying/forking another project such as bitcoin core with minimal change)? (yes/no): Yes (IMO) Is it truly decentralized? (yes/no): Yes (GPU mining, ASIC resistant) Does it have any premine, instamine, shadowmine, ICO fund raising, etc? Nope Can any individual mine this altcoin? Mention the mining algorithm. Yes, anyone with a GPU with 6GB or more. Grin’s consensus model is an iteration of proof-of-work Can any individual run the full verification node (or equivalent e.g. witness nodes in DAG based coins) capable of enforcing consensus rules of this altcoin? Mention some of the requirements. Yes see hereA short (max 100 words) summary describing the cryptocurrency: A privacy oriented coin, implementing the "MimbleWimble" protocol by (pseudonim) Tom Elvis Jedusor that allows anonymous exchanges with low fees. Mimblewimble math base is the Pedersen commitment based on using the difficulty of factoring large numbers to hide the details of the transactions. What makes this altcoin different from bitcoin as a decentralized currency? Privacy oriented and, as of today, cheap. Non ASIC. What is the innovation in this project? Protocol basically. How is that new innovation used in real world? What real world problem does it solve? It solves privacy in a quite elegant an cheap manner. No absolutely unique on that, but still good. It obviously solves the need to transfer value without the rest of the world knowing it, which is useful when you do not want to let others know of your wealth, spending habits or earning. Most important of all Have you ever used this altcoin? It is a privacy oriented coin, so I am sure you understand I won't answer that question What wallet are you using for this coin (full node, web wallet, hardware wallet, custodial such as exchanges)? https://grin.mw/downloadAre you running or have you ran this coin's full node? Why not? No, I do not have the hardware to spare for that.

(why would Dorsey try to make money in such a way for himself? Why not? If it was me I wouldn't give any penny Because his time is actually more valuable. I do not know your circumstances, maybe for you (or me for that matter) that sum means something, not for him.

As published by BBC, Elon Musk know for his mental and twitterial stability (wink wink), has now decided to crown himself under the title of "Technoking of Tesla". His chief financial officer will now be the "Master of the Coin", just like in GoT. This would be absolutely normal if they were playing a role game, however this is actually a SEC (Securities and Exchange Commision) filling, so him founding a new dynasty is official. If you are wondering WTF is this about, so is a Tesla investor that has sued Elon for "erratic and unlawful tweets". He is just probably investing in the wrong company anyway. This guy now holds a decent bag of bitcoin so my take is that these news, and what can be inferred insofar his brain functions, means even more volatility. But don't worry, volatility and inflation are both good... or so they say. ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fimages.theconversation.com%2Ffiles%2F219191%2Foriginal%2Ffile-20180516-155558-h6czth.jpg%3Fixlib%3Drb-1.1.0%26q%3D45%26auto%3Dformat%26w%3D320%26h%3D498%26fit%3Dcrop&t=663&c=3tT4-HlpzILSuw) Elon, immersed into his new role? Let the memes games begin.

(perdon, no tengo enie)

You are reading your situation in terms of wealth. Why don't you change your paradigm?
Firstly, money multiplies what you are. People say that it may change you, but that is not true, it just reveals what you are. The key to survive is to make money help you become your best you.
Second, money is not the scarce resource, time is the resource you actually own. The most difficult decision in life is what do you do with your time that means something to you, so for that firstly you need to understand what is that matter to you. Your family? Friends? A cause? Wisdom? Your choice.
So sure, you are living frugal, but that could be just fine if what matters to you does not require buying stuff. Close your eyes, think for 5 minutes how the perfect world would look for you. It may be a house in Ibiza full of ladies (or boys) but I would rather think of something that you can do for many years and would give you a sense of fulfilment and that is rarely "living la vida loca".
I guess that you need to figure out what life means to you.

Great to see Leo Messi having fun again. Huesca couldn't do anything yesterday to even try to avoid this defeat when facing this kind of Barcelona! Good to see also that now Atlético Madrid has got a real contestant until the end of the Liga. Without playing in Champions League, Barcelona doesn't have much else to do too ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) Of course they do! Paying the bills ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) I can picture a very large stack of t-shirt laying somewhere in a closed shop waiting for a vaccine and win that will never happen. But that's all right because... ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Felcirculo.com.ar%2Fwp-content%2Fuploads%2F2020%2F09%2Fmessi_dinero_millonario.jpg&t=663&c=X8pxOZAWsXIjEA)

I see YOLOdice is still on your list, you might want to update your list. YOLOdice is suspending its operation starting march 1 and its website will be online until March 15 to let their gamblers withdraw their funds/investment from the gambling site.
What happened to their operation, I thought that they just stopped doing signature campaigns. They are a really good website until the end by letting people get their money out of their website, it was closed yesterday, hopefully they will go back someday. Faucets seem to be a risky business. Firstly you have to make sure that people do not abuse the system, which is not that difficult. Then you have to calibrate carefully between keeping the "customer" but not spending too much on doing so. And on top you have to spend to promote. Perhaps not that great from the owner's view.

¿Qué me estoy perdiendo?
![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Flucasrockerocp.files.wordpress.com%2F2015%2F03%2Fpesca-en-hielo-tip-de-juego.png&t=663&c=n_CKstxxE75Gog)

Bother to read if you want to argue. Hint: I don't. I recall this a little different, 2011 bought you p0rn passes, 2013 bought you good weed, 2014 made you go bald due to stress.
That could be. As you can see the graphic says "what 100 bitcoin could buy you", so at some point of 2013 that would be enough weed to fill a bath-tube. Not that I am an expert I rekon. I have also edited the title as it seems that people skip over the 00s. I would really love to do business with you guys.

Following on my previous post on the auction of a NFT, Dorsey has decided to donate all the money for income support across a number of cities. Twitter boss Jack Dorsey has donated $15m (£11.2m) to fund universal basic income programmes in the US. The donation, his second in support of the initiative, will help cities send cheques to more than 1,500 families.
While I am not surprised (why would Dorsey try to make money in such a way for himself?), and I am sure it will help many families, I find contradictory that the managers of companies that scrap the las bit of the tax law and setup complex structures in fiscal heavens, then decide to "give back" in such a publicly notorious way. It is just and exercise of PR and it is lame.

... As they should, because how do you break monopolistic platforms of such huge companies besides creating better products and compete against them? ...
That is easy to say and difficult to do: - Firstly, the law against monopolies is wrongly assumed to be against any monopoly. However, surprise surprise, it is not. At least not in the USA. As long as the public interest is preserved, the monopoly in itself is not a problem. - Second, in the add business, where the monopoly could lay, there is actually competence and it is one click away. You can use Bing, Duck Duck Go and many others. There are also many opportunities to advertise not using google. - Lastly, how would you break Google's monopoly? You cannot break it "by region", so at most you would do so by line of products, which would probably create more value for the owners. It is a difficult case.

Yes I saw it on pancakeswap Official Twitter and Telegram. What happened to pancakeswap? Has pancakeswap hijacked?
📣 Please don't Give seed phrase or private key to anyone .
Looks similar to the infamous etherdelta hack, a similar style of attack that is based on the likely only vulnerability of the chain: the endpoint interface. I wonder how many funds have been stolen. Etherdelta was a very small DEX, but breaking into a BSC established project is a different animal.

Edit - I see there's a similar post. I am keeping this as it includes further details. From the official twitter This is now confirmed.
DO NOT go to the Pancakeswap site until we confirm it is all clear.
NEVER EVER input your seed phrase or private keys on a website.
We are working on recovery now.
Sorry for the trouble.
Be aware and stay cryptosafe. From Binance as well..
