3903  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Home Court advantage = Not an advantage now because of no-live audience? on: July 10, 2020, 11:04:54 AM
Yes, that is hard to tell but on the other hand players are aware that there is no live audience so feeling isn't the same and thus sport doesn't have its full purpose
All kinds of sports also entered into this new normal but I'm not sure I like that. I hope that sooner or later we'lll get back to real normal, as it was before.

The Brisbane Broncos Rugby League team have now lost six in a row even though they have the "home town" advantage against the southern teams that are billeted here in Queensland Hotels while Victoria is in lockdown.  It's quite likely that they are going to loose one, two or even three more games in a row.  I don't know any sites that I can put a bet on - they are playing the Sydney Bulldogs tomorrow night, so it's odds on the Broncos will loose.

(Lang Park is playing to 25% spectator capacity and I think there is talk of going up to 50% spectator capacity in the next few weeks)
3904  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Las Vegas Casinos are open - end of the Pandemic era. on: July 10, 2020, 10:55:29 AM
Does anyone have fresh stats on the state by state breakdown of the Covid's spread across the US over the last couple of weeks?  From what I've seen of the nationwide upsurge of cases, it's quite likely Nevada will have no choice but to go back into lockdown.

Here in Australia the state of Victoria has seen a level three lockdown of the capital (Melbourne) and to the immediate north shire of Mitchell due to a daily increase that's now at 288 cases (far fewer than Nevada's).  The Crown Casino along with the rest of Melbourne has been locked down for the next six weeks.  It's only a matter of time before similar happens over there.

While you are at it, would you fix the invest tab as well?

  • It doesn't show the site's bankroll, not sure if it was intended or not
  • Because there is no bankroll shown, It will show that if I put 0.001 btc on the site , I will own 100% site profit and thats kinda wrong

This should be just some simple error on the site about the bankroll/invest feature. I haven't really tested the invest feature yet buf if there isnt anyone that tried to invest 0.001 yet perhaps that feature hasnt been open to public yet. Best option would be to 'remove' the invest feature shown on the main page for now because that really shows up bad image for the site  Smiley

Was this fixed and what is the current amount of "ownership" of the site for the amount shown in the screen grab?  How easy is it to cash out and what are the returns?
3906  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are there any successful and relatively new casinos? on: July 10, 2020, 10:17:19 AM
The only online Casinos that I get to hear about are quite literally the ones that have or have had signature campaigns.  As to whether or not they are any good, the fact that they can continue to pay for Campaigns should in itself be an indicator of the Casino's success - unless of course they had a pre-launch budget they are committed to with a Campaign Manager/Escrow who is holding the funds for them, no matter what.

(I'm surprised you didn't give your own Signature a plug while you were at it)
3907  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Slots are better than Dice. on: July 10, 2020, 09:53:29 AM
With Slots you can bet multiple lines unlike dice where the results are usually win or loose.  Some people want to just watch the images flash around, others have a "feel" for the next roll of the dice and work on the statistics for how many times the various results come up.  The payouts for slots can certainly be high, but there are some that will double up on dice and win big too.
3908  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is it beneficial for the crypto casinos to add stable coins? on: July 10, 2020, 09:46:52 AM
USDT is used on a wide number of exchanges as a go between fiat to crypto.  That said, ETH opens up a whole new scope of traders with ERC-20 crypto that can be tapped into.  Just about any crypto's that have been around a couple of years have multiple exchanges and block-chain explorers/stable block-chain should also be considered.

Games such as Dice would probably be the first cabs off the rank in that case due to their widespread popularity.
3909  Other / Meta / Re: Merit & new rank requirements on: July 08, 2020, 08:51:07 AM
Wait, if the thread you had created and received many merits gets deleted, do you lose them?
It is stated merits can't be deleted or reversed once given out. Even if your posts/topics gets deleted your earned merits can't be removed. There is a FAQ about Merits @Hilariousandco pointed out this in this thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2766177.0

I think @LoyceV did a one off post that was merited and deleted and the merits are still attributed.  (my apologies if I recall incorrectly who did the experiment)
3910  Other / Meta / Re: Customized Trust Network – Interactive tool to see who we trust/distrust on: July 08, 2020, 08:47:53 AM
Greetings,

I've just been told about this thread and was wondering if you might be willing to do a one-off update of the information provided given that six months have now elapsed since your last update?

Thanks for reading.
3911  Other / Meta / Re: Merit Backscratchers: who scratched who's back the most? on: July 08, 2020, 08:38:03 AM
Here you go:

See https://loyce.club/other/Backscratchers7.html for the full list (21495 entries).

Hey thanks for doing this - it's going to take me a couple of days to familiarise myself with these entries.

If a users' top three merit fans they then back scratch, does that mean the user in question is gaming the system?  (If not, then when? 3of5 ?? 3of10?  5of12?? 7of9?)
I'd say "it depends" on the situation.

I have some investigations that are in the research stage, but I'm hoping to compare the information you've provided to some historic cases so that I can get an understanding of how to apply this information in future research.

Quote
Can you show an example of a user who you think is gaming the system?

Unfortunately, just saying something appears to be suspicious has resulted in those persons giving me negative trust/distrust (which is a form of default trust abuse), so for the moment, if you are more than passingly curious, PM me and I will provide some of my recent studies.

If a cluster of say a half dozen UID's all default trust each other *and* they are all back scratching via merits swapping/back scratching, which does that prove?  They are a voting block?  Or, they are alts/some are alts/mix of alts and a voting block?
Or they all make good posts, read each other's posts, and trust each other's judgment.

That should have read in part "via merit swapping/back-scratching" - I have amended the quote to give context.  Basically I am asking does it make it more compelling that trust abuse is occurring when both merits *and* default trust back-scratching occurs if that makes sense?

Quote
Quote
Is there a thread for default trust back-scratching?
There's this:
In addition, I've detected the Profiles that all trust each other:

-   7 members where all trust all: 5 cases (complete graph networks)
-   6 members where all trust all: 39 cases (complete graph networks)
-   5 members where all trust all: 179 cases (complete graph networks)
-   4 members where all trust all: 563 cases (complete graph networks)
-   3 members where all trust all: 1.118 cases (complete graph networks)
-   2 members where all trust all: 2.369 cases (complete graph networks)

I’ve listed them in the last tab ("All trust All circles") of the Base File.

Thanks, will check it out.

Can I request an update of this Merit Back-scratching information please?

Just a couple of quick questions:  (Please note: The two questions are concerning distinctly separate investigations).

  • If a users' top three merit fans they then back scratch, does that mean the user in question is gaming the system?  (If not, then when? 3of5 ?? 3of10?  5of12?? 7of9?)
  • If a cluster of say a half dozen UID's all default trust each other *and* they are all back scratching, which does that prove?  They are a voting block?  Or, they are alts/some are alts/mix of alts and a voting block?

Is there a thread for default trust back-scratching?
3913  Other / Meta / Re: Trust Feature idea: give DT1 the ability to remove specific feedbacks from DT on: July 06, 2020, 04:44:20 PM
Those on DT1 that have given me negative / distrust are mostly the ones who have peddled in account sales or trades, lending using UID's as collateral etc so I can only imagine it would be more of the childish, retaliatory, wild west bile that fills my trust feedback wall.
3914  Economy / Reputation / Re: Known Alts of any-one - A User Generated List Mk III (2020 Q3) on: July 06, 2020, 04:31:35 PM
Nice work everyone, I appreciate those new people taking the time to use the Submission Form and just a reminder that the OP and next couple of posts also have tools to help people getting started with Resources and Additional Resources.  Be sure to check out the Google Spread Sheet which SFR10 has been working on (118 entries for 2019 so far!).

Stay safe and don't allow yourselves to be intimidated by anyone who is likely an alt with a financial interest in an investigation.

This is my post number 5,900.  Grin

3915  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Loan Default - theyoungmillionaire u=1180530 on: July 06, 2020, 08:54:00 AM
In a thread named "Timelord2067's Investigation" opened to freely attack him? Is it a joke?
The case is not about Timelord2067, it's about TYM and his Filipino network.
Why are you trying to reverse the case?

I don't normally give a running commentary on an investigation in progress, but my thanks to Golgolth for your words of encouragement and support.

I've managed to have a quick look this afternoon at the OP TX and there is independent evidence to confirm the wallet address that the funds were sent to was coin.ph Wallet [00000dd86b] as confirmed by @coinlocket$ amongst others

Both TX funds went into and straight back out of that wallet address with 155 transactions which would have suggested that one wallet address assigned per user was how they traded, but the next TX out https://www.walletexplorer.com/txid/8ffe093e83cba2a84668a5df9fc8cb9afdabdee20b386d19ae62b667b5e38a0e was from four wallet addresses going to just two other wallet addresses, so although the one wallet address, one user is probably how the site operated, the operators were able to pool funds for withdrawals.
3916  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Loan Default - theyoungmillionaire u=1180530 on: July 06, 2020, 12:52:30 AM
Interestingly enough finaleshot2016 does not come here to this scam accusation to answer questions concerning their apparent merit & Default trust abuse with theyoungmillionaire, instead removes their trust of theyoungmillionaire (but being DT1 does not go so far as to distrust theyoungmillionaire as that would push him to DT2 (-11) )

3917  Economy / Reputation / Re: Merit begging or complain on: July 05, 2020, 03:19:05 PM
I have responded this user in a thread of bitcoin discussion and instantly after the response, I received the following PM from him. He is looking for merit, but indirectly.
Bitcoin is one of the best platforms in the world. I've been working there for a long time, but I didn't get a merit.😥
Would you say this begging for merits? However, I have checked his post to merit but got nothing.

Recent exposing of scammers have left a few users high and dry and they are now scrambling to build new alts to restart their SigCamp/Currency Exchange etc scamming activities.
3918  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I am looking for merits...Let see how many will react violently... on: July 05, 2020, 03:13:12 PM
What are the odds?  Here you are begging for merits and you're implicated as being part of a DT/merit abuse group over in this thread.

I was advised from others not to ask for merit on these forums. I was wondering why there is such a stigma against this, I have heard it is is very difficult to earn merit especially as new users such as ourselves. Hopefully as our post quality improves, the merit will come naturally.

The OP gifted their merits in the past to bump up theyoungmillionaire propelling them into DT1.  Now that TYM has been exposed as a scammer, the OP ( jademaxsuy ) wants to do the same with another UID.
3919  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Loan Default - theyoungmillionaire u=1180530 on: July 05, 2020, 09:52:11 AM
Perhaps you should leave the alt investigation to the rest of us, after all, why would you *just now* distrust a user who has been banned since the 13th of February 2020:

This thread is supposed to be about theyoungmillionaire (user=1180530) defaulting on his loan, everything unrealted should be discussed in different thread.

Good Point.

How are your own investigations into theyoungmillionaire going?  Turned up anything yet?
