3901  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin bank, Necessary? on: January 27, 2020, 02:52:23 PM
Bitcoin is a decentralized monetary system, while a bank is a centralized institution. The concept of Bitcoin contradicts the concept of banks. But since we live in a capitalist society, I think that there will be attempts to create banks for storing bitcoins. Already, some banks in some countries provide similar services.
Such banks who would allow people to store their bitcoins would only serve as a large scale cold storage. Bank actually means that they would entirely start regulating the transactions which would never keep bitcoin transactions secure. Bitcoins are meant to be decentralized so why do we even want them to enter the mainstream?

I personally hate the banking systems. Bitcoin serves us way better than the banking systems so why do we ever want to co-related them? I would personally oppose this because if banks are trying to start regulating bitcoins than they might even start implying taxes over each and every transaction excluding the transaction fees. This would soon turn out to be ridiculous.
3902  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Lottery In Your Place on: January 27, 2020, 02:20:58 PM
I used to pick some offline lottery tickets few years ago but I never had any luck in them so I left buying any more tickets. I think there are now in-numerous platforms which do offer lottery tickets online and also does display the results online. Lottery really needs a lot of luck on your side as there already are hundreds and thousands of other lottery ticket holders who might even be holding multiple tickets in order to win the game.

In this situation, it is really much hard to stand a chance to win and it made me lose my faith from the lottery tickets. Perhaps in the coming future I would buy some lottery tickets just to test my luck as I strongly believe in the luck factor.
3903  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Anyone here dream of achieving their financial goal in life through gambling? on: January 27, 2020, 01:45:45 PM
For people who does not have enough income to live a comfortable life, we try to find ways to end the struggle, we take big risk to gain big rewards so if we will be successful, we don't need to work anymore and just enjoy the rest of our life doing the things that we can't do due to lack of money.

are you one of the people who dream like this?
Well, I am damn sure there would be plenty of peoples with the same perspective of view. There are people who keep on dreaming big and want to earn huge amount of funds with no hardwork but usually these people do have to work a lot harder in order to fulfill their dreams.

Earning money and achieving our dreams have never been an easy task at least in the current market situations and even going for gambling with huge greed in the core of our minds would never allow us to find a passive income there too. All we would end up on would be huge losses if we did not follow the precautions. There are a lot of things which I personally want to achieve but where I lack is the least capital on hand.
3904  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What are the ways i can cash out Bitcoin in another country? on: January 27, 2020, 09:55:44 AM

If i ever go to another country and try to cash out Bitcoin,

what are the ways?

Only two things i can think of...

1. Make certain bank account where i can cash out Bitcoin

2. In person

1st option may not be possible though at certain country...

Any thought?
Well it is possible depending on the country are you going to visit, if Bitcoin and other cryptocurrency is banned in a certain country then it is really impossible but if it accepted then you won't any have a problem our cashing it out.
Personally, I am not very fond of having a transaction in another person simply because I am the type of person who is cautious and doesn't want to make a deal in person.
This might be a worst case if OP visits a country where bitcoins are already banned and he want's to cashout bitcoins in that country. This might not seem on the side of OP but I am sure this might not be the case. There are plenty of ways to cashout bitcoins directly into the native currency as there have been a number of platforms which does allow us to do the same.

Even, I can understand why you are not willing to cashout bitcoins directly in-person as most of the peoples including me does not feel this a reliable way to trade with bitcoins. I am living in a single country and did never intend to sell my bitcoins over the nation boundaries so until date, I never faced any such issue.
3905  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Newbie looking for some strategic advice on: January 26, 2020, 01:53:18 PM
Medium term trades or the swing/momentum setups are applicable for newbies. They cannot survive if they will first do short term trade because they cannot handle the volatility of the cryptocurrencies. Swing trading is requires only basics of technical analysis. Newbies should find a coin that is only consolidating where they can easily make profit by just buying near support and selling at resistance.
This would really be beneficial for the new traders who recently joined the markets but I do not think that they might find any huge profits in such kind of trading. They do need to take some risk in order to find major profits for themselves but at the initial stage, they need to prepare themselves to bear those risks.

I can find short term trading profitable and also I think that most of the new traders too can find benefits from the short term trading because the price move from the dip to the peak each hour which gives us to opportunity to quickly make profits. Also short term trading gives us immense profits because we can buy and sell constantly each day which would keep on multiplying our profits.
3906  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My dream for bitcoin on: January 26, 2020, 06:21:08 AM
Almost everyone here, including me, would love to see Bitcoin become a primary currency. But, if you look at it you would see that there is no chance for such a thing to happen. Bitcoin is a decentralized currency and due to that there is country or government that can own it. The world prefers a centralized currency like dollar, Euro, pounds, etc. Not being centralized automatically disqualifies it.

I’m guessing that countries will just create their own cryptocurrency, and I have heard of countries with such plans and I am sure all such cryptocurrencies are just another altcoins and nothing more. So, our dream of bitcoin will be hitting mainstream adoption may happen quicker than we are all dreaming.
3907  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How I Crypto on: January 26, 2020, 05:30:08 AM

I use cryptocurrency every single day, I mostly use a middleman like Bitpay to process all of my transactions. So even though I might not be buying bread with USD, I used my Bitcoin to make the purchase. This makes it nice for me since I run my business in the crypto space, I can get paid from someone in China instantly and buy food at the store within 5 minutes. I love that about bitcoin, what about you?
unfortunately in my country there are no stores that accept bitcoin or other crypto as payment options so I can't use bitcoin to buy daily necessities, but I once bought electronic goods online using bitcoin as payment and I think in a very sophisticated era now bitcoin and crypto are very good payment options, especially for large amounts.
Marketplaces which are created on blockchain technology use bitcoins as their payment method but not much of the stores are accepting bitcoins as a payment source. There are very few countries doing so and hence it does not allow each of us here to transact with bitcoins to buy any commodity.

We can ofcourse use bitcoins for online shopping as we can see a number of online stores accepting cryptocurrency payments and it is only possible due to various payment gateways who accept cryptocurrencies like coinspayment, etc. We need more awareness about bitcoins so that peoples could also start accepting bitcoins locally with the lightening networks.
3908  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I lost all my bitcoin on: January 26, 2020, 04:40:40 AM
Are you experienced in investing in stock markets? If yes, than you can go for them if you are intrepid with leverage trading. Reading and understanding you I am sure you are talking about leverage trading to go long and short on the market price to make quick profits. This method is really useful if you have the guts to make some research but price going in opposite direction might give you huge loss so it is also treated as much riskier.

You could move to margin trading if you want to start trading with higher amount than your actual capital is. This might seems interesting for you and you might again turn back to cryptocurrency trading.
3909  Economy / Economics / Re: Today is the first day of notorious Korea/Japan/China new year on: January 26, 2020, 03:45:20 AM
As a married man I can tell you that even if nobody expects you to do anything like that, you feel the pressure just because others can do it and you may not. Not the taxes or bank part, I have been married since I was 23 years old and I have plenty of investments etc etc, yet the part about your wife having expectations and your children having expectations are sort of true, even if they don't say it themselves. When you live long enough, you will always face people who are more successful than you are, you will see worse people as well but you rarely ever focus on those people.

However, when you see people getting super rich, a lawyer friend getting wealthy enough to change cars every year, going vacations to amazing nations every summer and taking snow vacations on skiing places etc etc, even if nobody says anything to you, you wish that you could have offered something like that to your family, you love your kids, you probably love your wife, you want them to live the best life ever possible, you want them to never have to worry about money or health or anything and sometimes it is not possible.

Life is not easy, nobody ever promised you it will be easy, sometimes you will fail in life, not all things you do could be amazing, so in the end there will be down times. Focus on the good times of your life and the people you are fortunate enough to share and you will feel a lot better.
3910  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can one have any expertise in Speculating? on: January 25, 2020, 05:17:10 PM
Of course, anyone can have expertise in speculating, all you have to do is learn how to read charts, learn what indicators are, learn the signals that could be important in crypto space. After you figure all of those out all you would have to do to speculate is to share what you have with people in timely intervals or on important movements that is upcoming according to you.

Like every Sunday sharing next weeks potential movements and on top of that if something major is about to happen share it as well, that way you could become a person who is known as a good expert speculator. I am not saying you will be a successful one, I am not even saying you could be a correct one, maybe you will fail all the time yet if you are good enough you would be at least a respected one.
3911  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading Options is a bit overwhelming for me. Any Suggestions to make it easier? on: January 25, 2020, 01:02:23 PM
Logic of trading is simple, you have to buy something and sell it for profits when you see the profit.Cryptos are too volatile so your asset value can increase or decrease every minute which is good for someone to make profit but all they have to do is keep their profit margin as low as possible or make their trading time more longer.
As he is a beginner, it might sound more simple than to actually practice it. That's the one thing about trading is that it's easier to say it than to make an actual profit from it.
I think his perfect shot is to demo trade for sometimes before actually trading the real coins.

OP, there are so many shitcoins in the market that you can use for that. Trade with them first before jumping into trading with reputable coins.
Demo trade is a good idea for someone to get knowledge about how trading works but choosing shit coins is not really a good idea since it can be easily bumped and dumped so OP as a beginner he may lose his money even if he follows good strategies due to manipulation.

Im with this! Dont know why would someone do practice out with shitcoins but as you read up he do talk about demo trade where you can choose up
established or top coins for you to practice trade and there are platforms that do offer some demos which is great for some start up before you do
consider on going to real trade.Options trading is like deciding if price would go short or long, which means analysis is still needed.
Option trading never seems easy and the factor of risk is always higher in option trading but the amount of profits too would be high in such trading. You have to actually predict the future prices would actually go short of long and this would really need a high research and the ability to understand the graphs much closely.

Demo trading would teach us a lot of new things as we would practically experience trading over there. This would gain us some physical experience which would be a lot useful in our trading career ahead. Trading has been proven to give immense profits but only we are able to bear the loss.
3912  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Suggestion for trading platform on: January 25, 2020, 10:37:11 AM
0.01 BTC is really a very low amount for you to trade in large exchanges, try to increase your balance before you want to trade. You should have at least 0.1 BTC to trade more simply and you will have more profits. In addition, you should not use small exchanges, that exchange cannot help you get profit because most of the altcoins there are only created to pump and dump and it happens very quickly.
Let's not discuss on the amount being used for trading. It is said that we should only invest the amount we are ready to loose and hence the amount might vary for each of us. You might be able to afford loosing 0.1 BTC but it should be a greater amount for OP and hence even 0.01 BTC would be a good amount to start it it is a amount you could afford to loose.

Profits would be smaller investing with smaller capital but at least it would not make us feel uneasy about the money we invested. I personally started with a much smaller amount but now made up myself to afford investing larger amount only because I was able to make profits from the smaller amount I invested initially.c
3913  Economy / Marketplace / Re: I need 5 sources of revenue to generate $200 each per month - Ideas? on: January 25, 2020, 09:31:58 AM
I generate regular income from trading only I do trading in almost all markets and generate decent income I took me some time to make regular income and manage you can find 5 source or a single source and make most on that on source and generate income
But, I always imagine what would happen if your trading is stopped by maybe huge price drop or something like this. Even in the bear markers, you would find least ways to generate a source of income. This would than make us financially unstable and it would really take a lot of time to again stabilize those financial situations in order to get back to routine.

So, it is always better to have multiple sources of income which in case if any of those is stopped we could still be able to generate revenue from the remaining ones. This would keep your financial life stable. If you have a lot of capital to start generating a stable source of income than there are a lot of such sources which would make us generate a stable income. You could launch a number of online businesses also if you search on google.
3914  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: How to Protect Your Crypto Wallet if Someone Searches Your Phone? on: January 25, 2020, 05:13:53 AM
Is this even legal? Can you refuse to give your phone to law enforcement? How can you protect your cryptocurrency wallet?

If the authorities are the ones who will ask you your phone, I guess you can refuse to give it to them. But if they have a search warrant or a court order for you to surrender your phone, then you cannot refuse it. Refusal means something like obstruction of justice or not cooperating to a lawful search or investigation. So the best way to safe keep your important information is not to store them in your phone.

That would be the case but we don't need to worry if we don't have any case since for sure we are still safe, but I don't think it's safe to store the details on our wallet and best to separate it the more safer place like putting it on desktop or maybe send it to another mail where people cannot reach it up.
Mails can usually prove dangerous in case of storing our wallet backups as mails could be leaked and it would directly endanger our wallets. Most secure way to store our cryptocurrencies is on offline storage so that they would always be safe. We can use only the amount we use for maybe trading or anything similar and store rest in our offline storage.

It is not necessary for the authorities to know our involvement in the cryptocurrencies or the blockchain technology as it might case some legal problems as involvement in cryptocurrencies is not yet legalized by most of the countries and it might seem like an illegal act so it is better we hide it from them.
3915  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: January 24, 2020, 05:06:29 PM
CJ would of course make a big difference, I mean we are talking about the second best player on that team. However Blazers have already been good for the recent weeks considering they are lacking their second best player and as a team that nobody really expected much from anyway, they started bad but gradually became better.

With Melo coming in and maybe this Ariza deal, and CJ coming back I am sure they will make a lot of changes in the west as well. I really wish they didn't because I wouldn't want Pop to miss his playoff streak this year, but if it means Spurs AND blazers coming back I wouldn't mind it Cheesy. I really don't want OKC up there anyway, they were suppose to tank this year yet they managed to still stay in the first round territory, its neither good for them nor good for other teams to gain experience.
3916  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: The future of bounty looks uncertain on: January 24, 2020, 03:17:30 PM
Bounty has no future since the ICO and IEO disappeared from this market. No more successful new projects so no successful bounty. I expect that ICO or IEO can revive and help the bounty situation to improve better, if the situation continues to be as bad as the present, surely the bounty hunter will not make money in this market.
Nah, that’s not true, there are still some good ICO. The problem is that there are scam projects and these scammers are the ones that keeps making a lot of people feel that there isn’t any good projects left. That’s why you have to be careful and not fall for their stupid tricks.

@OP
I don’t think that ICO is dead, there are still ICOs that are up and running. The only ones that have become weak are IEO and STO, seriously I have stopped seeing anyone mention these two and the hype for IEO just died overnight and it has come to an end. There’s still going to be bounties and it’s not going to end.
3917  Economy / Gambling / Re: bustabit – The original crash game on: January 24, 2020, 09:56:11 AM
Not to forget the fact that bustabit has been around for YEARS compared to almost all other places, even tho we look like we are just in page 53 and not much has been written on this topic very frequently, the topic started at 2018 so people assume thats when it all started but reality is this game goes even further back with RHavar as well, it was just purchased by devans in 2018, in a couple of weeks it will be on its second year just with devans. There has been zero problems so far, zero hacks, zero scam attempts, zero issues that caused investors any problems. Hell even when there was an issue, devans basically paid out of pocket when he could have just divided the problem between investors instead. So long story short, this place has been proving why you should trust them for years now.
3918  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: January 23, 2020, 05:56:47 PM
What really shocked me is that, Spurs have been playing amazingly in the last 10-15 games but all their losses came from not being able to close out games, watch the last 10 minutes of last nights game and you will see that they actually found ways to score no matter how hard it got, if Spurs can actually close out games like this for the rest of the year I think 7th spot is not really out of question just yet.

Right now they are back on 8th seed, it is really a huge fight between Memphis, spurs and even Portland for a while there, so all 3 teams trying their best to get that 8th seed and be in playoffs but at the same time only one of them can get in. I can't wait to see how Pop reacts to their last minutes this time around and if he will change anything to keep this up. Playing Derozan at PF was really a marginal decision but it looks like it is actually working out for them.
3919  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: January 21, 2020, 05:31:43 PM
Lazio are the favorites for this clash in coppa italia but at the same time the game is very close to each other, like both teams could win this and I wouldn't be shocked.  For some reason I am not entirely sure Napoli is 2.45 and Lazio is 2.85 on sportsbet.io, lazio is 3rd in the league and Napoli is 11th in the league.

There must be something I am not aware, I do agree that two teams are not too far off each other in talents and Napoli maybe having some rough time in the league and quite talented but I am %99 sure Lazio should be at least given the better odds right? I mean 3rd of the league versus 11th of the league facing each other in the cup looks like 3rd in the league would be at worst 2.00 and not 2.85 and expected to lose. I will wager on Lazio to win this just because of the odds even tho I think anything could happen.
3920  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: January 21, 2020, 04:44:44 PM
Players who complain about their pay check could still be good players, I mean at the end of the day if you deserve to be paid, you deserve to be paid. Kevin Durant took a pay cut to play at warriors and he wasn't a "professional", sure he played amazingly and he probably practices very hard but his professionalism is basically his twitter feuds with everyone in the world. Kyrie never wanted more money, he is happy to share the spotlight with Kevin Durant for example and yet dude basically is the craziest player ever known in NBA history.

You can ask for money if you really think you deserve it, just go out there and give your best every single night and work hard at practices and listen to your coaches, basically do all you have to do and then ask for a good contract if you feel like it, nobody would blame if. Asking for a good contract is only bad if you are a bad player who doesn't deserve a good contract.
