The Russian section needs to do its part in removing spam. You can't expect global moderators who can't even speak Russian to handle all of this. Some moderator will probably have to be chosen, even if he isn't perfect. When it will be the moderator, he will have access to IP users.
Only administrators have access to user IPs. theymos, please choose two of the moderators, me and Balthazar, if he does not mind. I can moderate such topics as politics and below. Balthazar - directly in the sections related to mining. Thank you. Not only Balthazar - he is a scammer! Not only Pivo - he is a double account of Balthazar! For credibility, I suggest to put more exclamation marks ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) I don't want to be involved in this "story" but can I ask you a couple of things : do you know the forum rules? What is your percentage of *report? If you don't want to reply, it is not a problem. Thanks for the attention.

Do you mean instant confirmation? I think you have never heard about greenAddress, it is a web wallet with an instant confirmation (the only rule is that also the other part uses it). Now it can be used for any payment processor.
I used to use green address until after an update it stopped working altogether, another update later and it's back working but slow as to open, it's empty now so i won't be using it again. Has someone got a quick explanation of how instant transactions work. An instant transaction wouldn't really be "instant" it was just be "instantly trusted" by those in the network. It could work like this: A multibillion dollar company establish good rapport in the community and acts as a middle man. Each of us has a "bank account" with them in which we keep some fraction of our bitcoin. This huge/trusted company has 1 well known public address. We walk into a store and use our app that is run by this company, we scan the stores QR code and the bitcoin is sent to the store from that well known public address on our behalf, then the well known company deducts that amount of bitcoin from our "bank account" with them. The store then sees that the payment came from a well known/regulated/large company and that they "are good for it" meaning that they will not try to create any double spends, thus the transaction is still on the bitcoin blockchain and the transaction is "instantly trusted" by the store, allowing the store to then give the customer the goods with confidence that there will be no double spend and thus no need to wait for confirmations. It is the same thing , also greenAddress use an internal instant confirm. but with GA you have a multiSog address, every transaction the change will sent to another address, if they close you will note lose your bitcoin (due the nLockTime). An instant and real confirmation (as you said) will never exist in all the bitcoin blockchain because it disagree with the "basic" rule of decentralization.

I have a odd username and I hope that when we do switch to the new forum that my username will be unaffected but my question is if the username system does change and my username is then made illegal how would we go about fixing that?
I still don't understand the question of the OP, can you reformulate better the question? Thanks for the attention.
I don't think your username will be made "illegal," (I assume what you mean by illegal is no special characters in the username.) but even if it does, the forum probably would either make an exception for you, as you signed up before the new forum came out, or just remove the special character from your name. (In your case, the "~".) I'm not part of making the new forum though, so I can't be completely sure.
riformulareIf the problem is the special characters, I think it will not change anything. The slickage team will move all the entire database from here to the new forum software (and I hope no forum users will lost during the migration).

Ethereum is an platform for decentralized applications.
It means that its an new blockchain for Decentralized applications. Its not an ALTCOIN. There is an "coin" called Ether, that is the cyberfuel that is used to activate an application on the Ethereum network.
The main benefit of Ethereum:
- Removal of third party trust in applications
Actually the Ethereum platform, include a new programming language, that makes it possible to make "contracts" on the Ethereum blockchain. This means its kind of the Crypto-worlds answer to law-systems, with enforcement! As long as its something that can be enforced digically, like money contract that includes Bitcoins.
So forinstance one could make an decentraliced financial marked or casino or something like that, and make the contract on an Blockchain, enfording the results based on mathematics or what ever!
This is just some of what Ethereum can do, I recommend that you read more on Ethereum.org and maybe see the videos.
I believe (if Ethereum will be used widely) that it will transform the economics and computerapplications of human interaction. Its very obviously to build these new decentralized applications in combination of Etherium and Bitcoin, so that's why I think it Etherium can have a huge effect on the Bitcoin use and price. But it meight take time till this information hits the Bitcoin marked, as not many people think about Ethereum at the moment, all thought Ethereum could be just as revolutionary as Bitcoin itself!!!
Happy studying!!
It already exists another project based on orisi that "works" (it is still in beta) on the bitcoin blockchain, it is called "oraclize" , here some slide https://www.oraclize.it/static/wcap_11_02_2015/ Here the official thread (in italian) : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=958619.0

Basically they write that the were intimidated and one of the workers was beaten up, there were loads of bad words, emails and calls with threats. Somebody was not happy that something like Bitcoin Embassy was working. The creators of that embassy got scared and decided to back off and close the place. If this story will be confirmed, I think that bitcoin is working very well. Who has threatened them is scared by bitcoin and want all the bitcoin related "services" shut down, now I hope that the police station will intervene and investigate. That's all bull shit. I haven't followed the story much, but they seem to have had some serious internal conflicts (between founders?) for a long time. There was some heavy dispute about the ownership, lots of accusations etc on Polish bitcoin forum. Some say they decided to close down in to avoid paying their debts: Ebassy stays clear 0 without any debts. Instead of one – of the person who transparently took part of closing Embassy. Anyway, it's probably for the best. We don't know at 100% if it is all BS, maybe someone who lives near their "office" can check what is really happened. Can someone who know the polish language translate all the article in english? ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2FYTooS3u.png&t=663&c=4fA3rxrMQydjaQ) Thanks , it would be very appreciated.

What is the problem if I post 5-10-50 times per day? I do not think the signature campaigns were banned or I am wrong? I post only if I am interested to the thread subject or have something to add (like help an user).
Isn't this a forum for discuss about bitcoin? However thanks for your opinion, maybe the next time can you write from your main account? Thanks again.
Well , I am not further going to argue as that wasn't my intention of the post. I was just commenting on the part " A tendency to make posts in order to boost your post count". I was just asking Badbear how does he react towards people who are making constructive posts and helpful ones but have increased their post count due to the campaign. They should ban all the signature campaigns or try to regulate them, by the way the final decision is of the staff member. Now it is not still against the forum rules "wearing a sig ad" and make 5-10-50 posts per day (them should be only substantial posts and inherent to the discussion). Sorry, if I seem arrogant. Edit: I know it is very annoying to see the same ad in each posts here in the forum, but I can't do nothing, only continue to participate and help the users here in the forum. If someone doesn't like to see the sig ad he can disable them or ignore the user.

A tendency to make posts in order to boost your post count, and you have an ad in your signature, particularly one that pays you per post. There is no secret invisible line that you shouldn't cross in terms of numbers, it's mostly subjective.
There are people who just don't post very well in general, post "too much", or don't really have anything to say, they just like to participate in the community and post. This itself is fine. But when you add an ad to these kinds of posters, it's difficult or impossible to tell if they just aren't quality posters or if they are attempting to boost their post count. I used to err on the side of caution here because I do not want to ban the former, just the latter, but too many of the latter are slipping through the cracks because it's very difficult to gauge someone's intentions. This is the main thing that has changed lately.
Commenting on that, how do you let people like MZ/redsn0w(not that I have any grudge against them) pass through your radar ? Both of them used to post around 4-5 posts a day on average 2 months, and are now posting 30-40 posts a day only because of the sig campaign that pays per post. They have also switched to posting to Meta a lot now, and are making helpful posts, according to me only to evade the bans happening these days What is the problem if I post 5-10-50 times per day? I do not think the signature campaigns were banned or I am wrong? I post only if I am interested to the thread subject or have something to add (like help an user). Ok, I just noticed (very belatedly) that this post is in "new forum software". Does that imply that these changes aren't being suggested for the smf forum that we're currently using but for the proverbial new software that was going to be installed here two years ago? Similarly, does this mean that the myth of new forum software isn't actually dead?
I suppose these changes will be applied in the new forum software (because the thread is here). It will "no-sense" to add this feature on this forum (based on smf) because in a couple of months we will migrate to the new epochtalk forum software, so at the end it will be a "waste" of time.

I'm curious and also interested to know the exploit, but maybe stunna can't reveal it because it will be possible to use it on other dice site.
I am almost sure that if there would be any other dice site that would also be vulnerable to this our huff would also attack the other site. I know the bitcoin is lost "for ever" but maybe we can trace the addresses.
So?Then what? What is the point of doing it? Will you blackmail him to return the coins to stunna?Keep in mind that these coins might now be sitting in someone else's wallet. No of course, I am only curious to know where those bitcoins has been moved (during those days). Why should I blackmail ? It is not his fault, he was a "genius" and he "stole" 2k bitcoin. I have to say, stealing 2k bitcoin and getting away with it. Pretty smart ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) If you are calling cheating bastard and exploit abuser smart then I can see you are envy him. I am not sure if you knew that he was the reason that PrimeDice cancelled Signature Campaign on our forum. So Hufflepuff indirectly robbed us all. At the end he robbed 2'000 bitcoins without any sort of block from stunna or other moderator of primedice.com, they think it was only a "lucky guy". However anyone from you have other proofs I'm also curious to "know" who is/was Hufflepuff but it seems we will never see him again.

When I first saw the bot sale thread, I was very impressed and interested to buy it. But I remember someone pointing out in that thread that th success of the bot greatly depended on how much balance the faucet has. If there are no funds in faucet, the bot isn't of much value. I did not purchase the bot for this single reason.
But the actual reason of failure turned out to be something no one had anticipated. The site owner noticed what was happening (and maybe even saw the thread himself) and blocked the proxies. (or at least that's what it looks like now.)
Glad I didn't buy it.
Yes of course , this is a plausible "theory" *. These types of method should be discussed only in private, the selling thread should never exist because the admin of the site can see it and block all the method in 5-10 minutes. Have you (who bought) used an escrow ? or not? Now he should refund at least a part of the bitcoin, or gives a sort of support. *As I said here : ... The real problem is that the owner of the site is reading this forum, maybe it was better to keep this "method" completely anonymous. However it might function again but I haven't tried the script so I cannot be sure.
EDIT : He has completly emptied that address (1GP9FqAaMqRKuUe6RznWhFSEdnfCYrPfv8): - https://blockchain.info/it/tx/ef6121216188c204922e99f8417f65cdb4ba8f0b27447b64cb49f75928cdd8de- https://blockchain.info/it/tx/6e773f178cc664c7451efd3af95ff7d118f79a177f6ffa5d030e4ae2f25c1bfc

Redsn0w?....He is a very well known scammer.
You are mistaken. It must be someone else. Provide proof when you try to destroy reputation of a legit person. I don't know why Skyenet is trying to cause shit here. He started with me saying that I am not reliable meanwhile I have done 52 successful trades and 1 unsuccessful. And now he accuses redsn0w of being a scammer. He's a newbie that is asking for trouble. No problem guys, if he think that I am a scammer he can open a thread in the scam accusation (but I didn't trade with him or other users in these days) and I am not care about him. I know who I am, and (I suppose) he is only a pathetic troll. We are a little bit off topic here (sorry Roubitte).

RCHumphrey - Was quite right with what he said.
Redsn0w I have already taken up someone for the job. I will sign the address's next time in future. But by me sending the funds when I stated I would that sort of signed it right?
Anyway, Position is closed for now.
Thanks to all the applicants.
Roubitte
Yes I have seen you are in control of the funds, I have asked a signed message only for a security purpose (nothing else). Good luck with your business !

Muhammed Zakir you should resolve this question with "Tlee88" privately , however I do not find correct to pay this "compensation" (I call it ransom, it is more appropriate). The next time you will start to ask a signed message before give a loan, everyone make mistake but everyone should resolve them in the easiest way.

I choosed blockchain and I know it can be confused with the web wallet "blockchain.info". However I find more correct block chain, but it is almost 1,5 year that I'm using the terminology "blockchain" .

@OP: Why did you create a new account? Was it created after the hack or just as an alternative? I bought the account off Muhamed Zakir if you need any proof let me know.
Confirming this. If it is confirmed that the account is hacked, I will give your BTC back and you should give me the account back. Thank you! @shorena: Please remove the feedback untill OP give an evidence. He hasn't came to me approximately for 20 days and then suddenly came and said "my account is hacked". Have you asked to the "Tlee88 " a signed message for prove the ownership of the account? This is the request of the loan : Loan Amount : 0.06 Reason : I'm going to use this money to cover the costs of buying a domain for a new site in development. BTC Address : 1NPuHtNJ81FPDrbwiUNKEJPQQYzdwgeZj6 Term Length : 6 Days
Today is 22 February. I am the real owner of Tlee88 (UID: 371076) and I am giving this account as collateral for the loan provided by Muhammed Zakir (UID: 320943)
This is not a valid proof, you should asked a signed message.

If this is implemented in self-moderated threads, we could extend it to all deleted posts. This would give us an idea if posts of a particular user have been deleted by moderators as well.
I think you can already see this. Don't remember the link thoughAre you implying that this feature is only added into the market sections, or for all moderated threads in general? Also, would it be a good idea to somehow give the public access to these deleted posts?
idk that's for theymos to decide Did you mean the modlog.php? There, you can find a log of all the moderation by the staff member (deleted posts, users banned). This is the link : https://bitcointalk.org/modlog.php
