I don't really have any special takeaways from the data above, think it's not shocking to see people who are sig banned to disappear completely and stop posting. It's not going to be shocking again when their bans come to an end and they get back to their usual posting habits aka being extremely active. It is what it is.
I think signature bans are working as intended: giving some users a deserved second chance - ChiBitCTy, redsn0w, WhiteManWhite, perhaps Branko, lovesmayfamilis, and zazarb can also be included in this category since a slow down of ~50% doesn't seem unusual - while at the same time being almost equivalent to a permaban for others. I'm not member of a signature campaign from (honestly I don't remember exactly) 2-3 years or maybe more, so my activity here is not related to my signature ban. Just pointing it out, nothing else.

This probably isn't anything too interesting for other people, but it is for me. I'm leaving my signature campaign and will not join any other ones for some time. Mind you, I've been in a signature campaign constantly since 2014, so it's a pretty big step for me to just walk away from them. I just don't want to deal with the hassle anymore, you know, having to post X amount of times per week... Now, I doubt I will be any less active, but now I can purely post for fun without actually having to post. The campaigns I've been in, were always great, never had any issues with the campaign managers, but after a while the obligation to post starts to wear on you. I've probably spend some time responding to topics I wasn't really interested in, so it's great that I don't have to do that anymore... I just thought this deserved to be put in a topic, hehe, I could almost shed a tear because being in a signature campaign was part of my life for so long. Anyway, this might inspire others to take a break from signature campaigns and just enjoy Bitcointalk for what it is, without expecting payment for it I'll probably have way more time to spend on my Steemit blog now and to participate with interesting projects here on Bitcointalk. Had my first Bitcointalk meetup the other week, plus I'm participating in a very cool project, so I doubt that I'll spend any less time on here. See y'all around and this time you can be 100% sure that whatever I say is because I mean it, instead of upping my post count. (Really, you can never be 100% sure when someone's in a signature campaign, no offence) Well done and good luck for your project!

I just came here because of the title, violent and homosexual do not belong to the same sentence or the same person, gays are weak like pussies and anyone can beat the hell out of them. I would do this for free that is how much I hate homosexuals. Little poll for now, that's pretty much it. Who wrote this?

I'm not sure that you are the first user fortunately unbanned from perma-ban or not, but based on that topic, it seems you are the first one. [TIPS] to avoid plagiarismThere's been no policy change. redsn0w wasn't permanently banned due to several factors which made me think that permabanning him would be a net negative for the forum. Nobody is banned strictly because of "the rules"; it's always handled case-by-case, but almost always, plagiarists deserve to be permabanned.
If you think that a ban should be ended, make your case in a new topic from a "good for the forum as a whole" perspective.
I was never perma-banned, I got a 30 days ban. Btw nice signature (just joking).

I know, that was long time ago . Why report it now? Because it's a serious violation of forum rules. Mods can decide if it's too old or which penalty is appropriate. It seems disingenuous to imply some sort of malice for finding and reporting your transgressions, old or recent, particularly since you got a huge break on it. No big deal because I don't care about signature, just trying to understand the reason).
What do you mean with "Perpetuating Quicksy's fallacies LOL"?
I agree with you when you say "don't plagiarise".
Quickseller is trying to push this conspiracy theory that someone is targeting specific users. Obviously no proof is forthcoming. Don't be like Quickseller. Yeah it sounds logical, thanks suchmoon.

I was banned 30 days + 2 years of signature ban due some posts of more than 3 years ago.... No big deal (I recognize my error) but I don't get why someone started to scrap the whole post history of an user and report to moderators . Maybe just to increase the % of good rep. Perpetuating Quicksy's fallacies LOL You got caught because you have a shitload of plagiarised posts so your chances of getting caught were correspondingly very high. I don't think anybody targets specific users, I certainly don't because that would be a stupid waste of time - the effort that is needed to check 10k posts of one user (and probably end up with nothing) is much better spent to check 10k posts that are likely to be actual plagiarism (and probably end up with 1-2k bans). tl;dr: Don't plagiarise. I know, that was long time ago . Why report it now? No big deal because I don't care about signature, just trying to understand the reason). What do you mean with " Perpetuating Quicksy's fallacies LOL"? I agree with you when you say "don't plagiarise".

I also don't think it's necessary, it's just a forum. Why do you need a bitcoin real-time price when you can just google it (or see it on an exchange)?

Congrats!
