3904  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: 5970 energy efficiency on: August 07, 2012, 07:41:30 PM
Yep. I got a slight speed improvement when I dropped memclock to the min value instead 1/3 of the GPU. Freeing myself from that 'requirements let me push the GPU a bit faster. YMMV, but it works for me and runs cooler.
Try 167MHz for memory.  Same power but slightly better MH/s than 150.
3905  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: Macbook Pro Retina 15" *SEALED* - Below Retail - Escrow on: August 06, 2012, 05:39:14 PM
I wonder why the specs of this laptop are different, the same picture.

Because the OP is going to use a stolen CC to purchase a new MBP and have it shipped to your door.  Then he collects his BTC and leaves you on the hook for when the authorities come knocking.

Bye CoinCleaner!  On to your next sock puppet account.
3907  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to buy large quantity in cash on: August 06, 2012, 04:45:33 PM
Why does anyone want 20000 bitcoins?  What can you do with them that is worth that much money?  If I had 20000 bitcoins I would sell them for dollars and pay some bills.

That would buy a lot of AK-47s for some "freedom fighter" group over seas. Just sayin.
3908  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I am pretty confident we are the new wealthy elite, gentlemen. on: August 06, 2012, 04:42:59 PM
I'm not sure where "breaker" comes into it, but "necrobumping" refers to posting in very old threads and bringing them to the top again. It is generally unnecessary; a new topic should be started with a link to the old one.

Very good!

"Combo Breaker, sometimes seen as C-C-C-C-Combo Breaker!, is a phrase usually used on message boards to break a chain of posts. On 4chan, the phrase is used to disrupt a popular pastime known as a Combo, which involves posting a series of partially cropped images to bring out the full picture in a given thread."

It's a blend between the two.

+1 Internets if you can name the video game where "Combo Breaker!" originated.
3909  Economy / Service Discussion / GLBSE Login always fails 1st time? on: August 06, 2012, 04:02:43 PM
Is it just me or does the GLBSE login always fail the first time with 2-factor?  I'm talking about the login screen with all the fields arranged horizontally across the top of the screen.  That always fails the first try, but if I go directly to https://glbse.com/sessions/login it'll work.  Or am I the only one with fat fingers?

Red flag count: 3 5

Can't really elaborate otherwise scammers will adapt.
3912  Economy / Lending / Re: Loan of 20BTC? on: August 05, 2012, 06:25:10 PM
Do NOT loan this guy anything. He's just setting off every kind of red flag I can imagine.
3913  Economy / Securities / Re: (GLBSE) TYGRR.BOND-P 6.8% weekly uninsured pass though bond to BTCST on: August 03, 2012, 05:00:44 AM
Yeah, there's really no point in buying them for 1.02 from Goat when you can just buy them for less than 1.00 on the free market.
3914  Economy / Lending / Re: [Filled] Requesting 1.77 BTC to top off an important purchase. on: August 02, 2012, 02:30:47 PM
Sorry, allow me to clarify.  I see one of two scenarios playing out here:

1. You'll never see your coins again and LDB will disappear from the boards forever. <--This will most likely happen

or

2. The coins will be paid back on time, possibly with more interest than originally stated.  In such case what's most likely going on is that you're a sock puppet of LDB and you're circle jerking yourself in order to build rep for an even bigger scam later on down the road.

So by "HAHA!" I mean go take a hike.

Buyers, be sure to use ESCROW for this one.  If not, I'll be back to laugh at your dumb ass later.
3918  Economy / Securities / Re: [GLBSE] Pirate Pass Through Bonds! on: August 01, 2012, 03:37:46 AM
Announcement for information: Over the last couple of days I have purchased the PPT shares of the five other PPT founders.  Burt is facilitating the change over of the assets on GLBSE with a bit of manual intervention from Nefario.  Otherwise it's business as usual.

Why are they getting out?

Goat, will you be able to issue more bonds next week?
3920  Economy / Securities / Re: (GLBSE) TYGRR.BOND-P 6.8% weekly uninsured pass though bond to BTCST on: July 31, 2012, 09:26:44 PM
There's some nice deals going on for these bonds right now.
