Does anybody buy the CoinURL vouchers ?

What do you do with the vouchers if you happen to get one from DailyBitcoins.org ?

Spend them with referral links.

Didn't you say you would buy them?

Prove any of your wild claims, take your pick.

Still waiting to see you prove any of 'your' wild claims.
MM is right, the burden of proof is upon you.

How can he prove a negative?

He also isn't taking pre-orders on some product no one, as far as I can tell, has yet held in their hand and tried out.

So there you go, when pressed for proof... poof!  Nothing shows up...

LOL

The irony is delicious...

Yup, we'll see.    Cheesy

I miss the other captcha  Cry

Everyone does, including me and bots.
Its possible to add "remaining prizes for the rest of the day" counter? like the one on dailybitcoins.

It's possible, but I don't think it's a good ideia.

Why not?  It would certainly make a better experience for people using your site.
I don't see how it would hurt you... in fact, like I said before, it would perhaps cause
more users to keep coming back.

3904  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Where do I get free Bitcoins? on: November 07, 2012, 08:18:33 PM
BitVisitor really needs to handle incorrect captcha submissions better.   Sad

I found this link where one can send feedback etc.

http://www.bitvisitor.com/contact.php

They are the same people who run cointube.tv as well so one can probably send feedback for that site as well using that link.
3905  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Free Bitcoins Listing on: November 07, 2012, 08:17:54 PM
It seems to take longer and longer for bitcrate to get refilled...  currently empty.
3906  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Websites to Earn Bitcoins II on: November 07, 2012, 08:12:53 PM

3909  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: namecoin none on: November 07, 2012, 02:24:56 AM
Hey everybody,

Just noticed lately, not that namecoin is worth that much, that I've been getting alot of none on blocks solved.Seems like a lot more lately,is something different?

Zero namecoin rewards in the last 4 rounds?
That seems extremely odd.

Stratum pool don't have support for Namecoin (yet), so around 30% of hashpower isn't mining for Namecoin. Still you should have higher namecoin income than on other pools, because quite a lot people didn't filled NMC address...

I'm considering to drop of NMC support, because this project is basically dead and current merged mining sources are incompatible with latest bitcoin development (no support for merged mining over getblocktemplate etc). There's no project development since merged mining has been introduced in last October...

more follows later in that thread...

no mail adresses or anything on the site so i guess sorting it out is out of the question.

I tend to avoid sending money to sites like that.   Wink

But if you want to try and get in touch with them...

is dailybtc.com bugged out or? the last 3 bets ive put in never showed up, and for prob a week or two there was only 1 adress betting / winning, and im guessing thats the site bot...

Myself, I've never made a bet on the lottery there. It has been scratched off this list for a while when they stopped doing their free daily scratch-off.

3914  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Canadian Online Bank Transfer & Mt. Gox on: November 05, 2012, 06:28:18 PM
Hi,

Can any kind soul suggest the easiest way (or a number of options) whereby one can complete an online bank transfer from a Canadian Bank (Royal Bank of Canada) in CAD$ to my new Mt. Gox account please?  Or is an electronic bank transfer not a preferred method at all?  Apparently BitInstant is unable to process these types of transactions until at least next month (December) according to one of their kind reps.

Thanks from a florescent green n00b!

Why not start an account at the Canadian exchange VirtEx?
You will be able to transfer funds to it from RBC with no fees using the online bill payment option.

Okay, this is really puzzling to me........

Maybe I should have just given it in this thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=22126.400

Looking at Portnoy threads , some people were not getting enough BTC and complaining sites like bitcrate.net being empty quickly , so I offered 0.03 BTC direct here instead of putting it in bitcoins.so wallet for newbies

Maybe newbies are just so happy to get out of the newbies section they don't come back.

I think so too , you can change the subject now

Okay, changed back.  Thanks for the giveaway... the response was... interesting...   Cheesy

Btw, to any newbies reading this, feel free to include your bitcoin address if you make any comment in this thread.
You never know when someone might send a little BTC to it.   Wink

I may randomly copy one to use in my daily check of these faucet sites.
3917  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Free Bitcoins Listing *NEWBIE 0.01 BTC GIVEAWAY - 1st come 1st served* on: November 04, 2012, 03:56:19 PM
last chance to get 0.01 BTC x 1 for newbie , else goes to wallet in my signature in 3 hours

Okay, this is really puzzling to me.  How can the faucets like bitcrate and Ori's bitcoins.so get hit so hard that they are often empty and yet .01 go begging?

I think there were four other newbies who asked for the .01 but did not have the post count Ori was asking for, but even taking that into consideration that is not a lot of people asking for what is a lot more BTC than hitting the faucets would net you.  Are the faucets just dominated by bots or what?

Anyway, Ori I think what you are trying to do is very generous and this thread is great but I'm really baffled by this.

+1

It is odd. I was thinking maybe most newbies just go to the first post and don't bother reading the latest post in the thread, but then I put that notice at the top of the OP
and still no newbies are showing up to get the 0.01 BTC.  I don't know why those newbies who have posted already with too few posts don't just create a few more posts to
qualify.  Maybe newbies are just so happy to get out of the newbies section they don't come back.

There is still a chance for a newbie to get in on the 0.01 BTC giveaway.

BitVisitor is not new.

It is already listed in the free bitcoins list.

This is referral spam.
3920  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin = cash or commodity on: November 03, 2012, 04:30:09 PM
Yes commodities are often used as currency.  Heck back in the wild west they used to use playing cards as money in some places.

It would be better, legally speaking, if the powers-that-be 'did' just consider it to be something like trading cards or game tokens,
but it seems that it has already been self-defined as a currency in Satoshi's white paper.
