3901  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Whales questions? on: November 28, 2017, 11:45:53 AM
Well all I can say is most of the whales are all millionaires, maybe not millionaires but billionaires.

Most of them hold a huge number of bitcoins that can really affect the price of bitcoin if they want to do that. I think the term whale is like a big fish in a sea and there are other that is a smaller fish and average fish, I am still in the small fish representation. I think this link can help you. https://www.cryptocoinsnews.com/bitcoin-whale/
3902  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: When do you plan to sell? on: November 28, 2017, 10:49:00 AM
What is your exit point? Where will you sell your coins? How much % of your stack will you sell?
We should all have plans about when we will sell our coins. Planning is really necessary. We can earn more money if we have good plan. Plan is also the key to become successful person.

Not all of the plan may happen though, and when that time comes your skills in deciding will be at work.

And I think that is more important than planning because bitcoin is so volatile you will not know when it will reach a certain price and it might reach that certain price but it might continue the price increase so you have no choice but to make another plan which might not turn well.
3903  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can any government ban Bitcoin? on: November 28, 2017, 03:14:34 AM
there are so many governments have banned bitcoin, because they still not be able to find a ways to control bitcoin, it is anonymmous so it makes governments harder to trace and charge taxes on Bitcoin.

I don't think so. Government are pretty good in such things so you must not underestimate them in terms of tracing even for bitcoin because bitcoin is not that really anonymous as people thinks.

Government can ban bitcoin, that is a given. Some countries banned bitcoin now and some of them do not really banned bitcoin but they can't access the internet because of the censorship in their country.
3904  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 1000 hard forks in 2018 on: November 28, 2017, 02:17:09 AM
Forks are made for the upgrade, the way of development of bitcoin but in these case people are turning that development and upgrade away, making it a way to earn a lot of people.

If they're project or goals are really good, there are a lot of other platforms they can make those tokens. People will still be investing on those if it is really interesting and a very good project. If this will be the case, I can see a lot of people being pissed with every week, you can see a lot of forks out of bitcoin, it will not only affect users and holders but also the price.
3905  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: whats your opinion about roger ver promoting bitcoincash on: November 28, 2017, 01:54:21 AM
Like any other people who made their own crypto currency, I think that is a natural response right? And if you think that it is competitive enough to live in the world of cryptos you will really do your job advertising it.

But other people are taking it negatively and I think it is not that bad because you invested a lot of time and money to that , but they will really misunderstand if they are pushing bitcoin to be the real one even if it's not.
3906  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is selling BTC foolish because there are forks? on: November 28, 2017, 12:18:27 AM
You have a point but it don't really work that way every time. Not all forks give free coin like what must happen in the cancelled fork this month.'

I suggest finding a good altcoin or token or ICO that have a potential to pump in the next few months. Holding altcoins is good and being popular this days because a lot of people are getting big profits out of it.
3907  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 88% of Japanese have heard of bitcoin -- how about your country? -- on: November 27, 2017, 04:34:08 PM
in my country already many people who know bitcoin but many also only know the name only and do not know about the understanding, because the average knowing it is just a few groups and not circulating in general, maybe only people who follow the advancement of technology and internet.
It's the question of legality; bitcoin is not legalised yet in my country, so the number of users is very less. I think mere 1% of the total population may be using it, as we don't get the exact numbers, as bitcoin is not legal here.

Bitcoin is not really popular if you think if this. Bitcoin is legalized in Japan, still there are only 88 percent of the population knows bitcoin? How about the countries that don't even legalize bitcoin.

I think bitcoin is used in our country gaining popularity little by little, I may say it is close to 5 percent to 6 percent of the total population of our country. I think if many more was introduced to these digital currency, bitcoin will be ore popular to our country.
Using this site :
http://www.indexmundi.com/japan/age_structure.html

The population of Japan has 12.97 percent of 14 years old and below in 2016, I think you better be amazed because even there are a lot of young people and some of now what bitcoin is.

Of course we also need to consider that the 12 percent don't really came at that age span, some of that remain of 88 percent comes also from the old people raging their ages at 65 - 75 years old.
3908  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and deep web on: November 27, 2017, 03:57:40 PM
Hello!

so i recently heard about the deep web, how it uses bitcoin and how the transactions made there are anonymus. to my current understanding of bitcoin every transaction is written in the blockchain and is known and can be seen by anyone. so my question is where is the anonymus transaction written? and why can't you see it?

Bitcoin's transaction is not really anonymous as everyone believe. With a good tracer, people who are involved in a transaction can be determined even if it is transacted at a deep web. Most people really need a security before accessing the deep web because with out it, they will be in danger.

And if you don't know, a lot of people we're arrested thinking that they can hide from what they have done in the deep web.
3909  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is making us money while we sleep, people! on: November 27, 2017, 10:52:08 AM
The price is really shocking, never thought that the price will continue to pump despite of some problems the past few days. If this continues the price will reach $10 000 in no time, that will be the first 5-digit price on the history of bitcoin ever.

Though, other altcoins, little by little is increasing.
3910  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin transaction fees.. on: November 27, 2017, 10:31:09 AM
Hi, Do you think is tehre any interest to reduce the transaction fees for bitcoin? Many alts are focusing on speed and low fees while bitcoin has made little effort.

There are a lot of BIP or Bitcoin Improvement Proposals about this and as you can see, some of them are being turned down and not supported. I guess it will take time before this problem is done.
3911  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and Tax? on: November 26, 2017, 11:58:40 PM
Whats the deal with Bitcoin and paying tax? How does it work?

In my place you can't tax bitcoin. The government know of it but they are not having an idea of taxing it all. And I think if my country wants to tax bitcoin, I guess I will not know how because I will be starting to use another crypto currency, I mean that is the best way to avoid paying taxes the reason I like to use it and I don't like it to be taken.
3912  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and the Path of Least Resistance on: November 26, 2017, 10:03:29 AM
Even if you want to invest your money elsewhere, it is very difficult to find a method which would yield returns as high as bitcoin is currently doing. If there were better examples available, I'd agree with you to cash out some of your coins and invest elsewhere, but since bitcoin is still going strong, you'd be hard pressed to find an alternative which is as profitable.

I think this is the point that the OP is pointing out. Path of Least Resistance is talking about how people think these days.

It means that we people just go in a way that is convenient to us, the thing that is easier to do but there are other things that can be done that will result in to a better one. The path of least resistance is the more convenient and easy way with average result and the opposite of it is the full of effort way with the better result.
3913  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi Nakamoto is coming to town! on: November 26, 2017, 07:59:39 AM
I thought there would be some breakthrough news Smiley. You have been waiting for this publication to celebrate. Mice to admit that ingenious.

A lot of us was click baited, though I am not waiting for him to come back, it is that I also want to know him for sure, every one here does.

Though the song is good, it is funny, but I think if I will be one of the Christmas choir that will sing this, this will be really cringy.
3914  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why the bitcoin price doesn't stop rising? on: November 26, 2017, 01:20:48 AM
Hello all.
About my question I think it's because most people believe that bitcoin will become more valuable in the future. That's why whenever the price drops, they buy even more, so the buyi wall will always be bigger than the sell wall. so that's why the price keeps going up and up. If you think about this, please let me know.

Bitcoin's price depends in the what said "demand and supply", as you have said most of the people think that it will become valuable in the future, making them buy this digital currency when it drops that said, the demand of bitcoin is very high.

I am thinking the same and I think it will continue until next year. A lot of people are expecting a $10000 price so expect an unexpected price next year.

That is correct supply and demand and since bitcoin has a limited supply and once the demand increase then the price will increase with it. $10,000 is not too far from now, the only question that I have is until when are we going to enjoy these prices.

You have a point, bitcoin always pumps but whenever we see a pump we are thinking it will pump more, we are not really enjoying the price, we are like, taking advantage of the bitcoin price today.

I think the reason here is the profit other people made from these pumps. When someone told you he has a profit from buying bitcoin at these price and now it is these price gaining himself a profit, we are tend to try that and buy some, more and more people know and you on your side, who bought earlier than others think that it will pump more because of the rising popularity and instead of enjoying the big profits you have, like using them into investment, grab yourself an asset, we are waiting for it to pump and we are so scared to spend it because we are thinking that it will be more expensive.
3915  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think bitcoin has role to play in the future? on: November 25, 2017, 02:15:41 PM
It won't play any role in future. Bitcoin is already a part of our future and part of money system revolution. Yes, it has too many problems now and it can't right now become a currency, but in future it will!
I agree, he can already be said to be part of this future, but that he would still have to go a long way to this

Bitcoin will not only play a big role in the future, it also has the big role in the past. As we all know, bitcoin is the first successful crypto currency ever made in the history, without being invented, crypto currency will not be blooming years from now.

In the future, I think I will not be looking on the role it will play, because I know it will be big, but I will look how it is developed for the greater purpose it will bring to people.
3916  Economy / Economics / Re: Cashless society on: November 25, 2017, 12:35:25 PM
I Think this is not so far away, if you watch futuristic movies they are already implanting a cashless society into our mind. If you guys know what a Martial law its basically the government controlling the entire nation. With this in mind they can create a cashless society instantly.

And do you think that if an entire nation or a country was under a Martial Law the country or that nation will be accepted to pay a decentralized currency? Are you kidding me? If a country is under a Martial Law, it is obvious that people will still use the fiat since they will be suspected like a rebel not using your own currency especially not under the government.

I'd rather use fiat than be under in a Martial Law.
3917  Economy / Economics / Re: How do you budget your money in a day on: November 25, 2017, 02:12:30 AM
For me budgeting money in a day leads to your success in wealth. As a student I budget money in which atleast 50% of my allowance will be part of my savings. So you how do you budget your money? I wanna know your strategy.

Being student is the hardest part of life as a young child. A lot of activities and a lot of home works to do, but I don't think that a money is one of the problem as a student. My family is not that rich but as a student, I've never think of budgeting my money, why? Because I don't have that money to budget.

When I was a student, even in high school, my mom will just give me money exact to how much I need, I cant buy anything with the money, not until I've gone to college where I started to work and gain myself some money. I think as a student, prioritize your money to school, it is not that you need to buy all of the things you need but you must prioritize buying that you need first in school than the things you just want to buy. Try to be contented with what you have because most of your classmates might have something that will make you decide to buy things and affect your savings. Before you think of saving your money, always calculate how much you will be needing for a day so you can distance yourself to things that you might buy without thinking.
3918  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Maybe this is the end of bitcoin on: November 24, 2017, 03:46:59 PM
It's just retracement for Bitcoin and it may drop till 5000$.
Further we should wait for drop of market and then buy the market at strong support near 5000$.

Well, it did not, actually it is having a good price these days after reaching the ATH. But I think many people or investor are waiting for that to happen so they can buy bitcoin, but sadly it did not happen, it pumps immediately at $7000 and then after  some days reach another ATH at $8000. I think these price will stay a while at $8000 for now.
3919  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will BTC be a major in college? on: November 24, 2017, 12:44:19 PM
Not specifically BTC but cryptocurrencies in general. You think it will become a course of study / college degree at some point?

I don't think crypto currency will ever be a major in colleges, all of the informations about it is accessible online so you don't need a teacher to teach it. Rather the crypto currency, why not the blockchain. It has a lot of ways to be developed and be used in a lot of other things that will be very useful in the near future.
3920  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin is like heroin on: November 24, 2017, 11:24:28 AM
It is indeed like heroin people get addicted to it and i think they even want to make it their daily job people made bitcoin their daily job and are so addicted to it they know everything about it and how everything works and they even earn a lot in just a week or two.

I don't get it as an addiction, bitcoin is an asset, a currency mostly accepted online and some countries, it is like you are saying that gold is like a heroin. Bitcoin is addicting if you are using this digital currency in gambling.
