oracle should have some secure deposit based on game theory.

Ethereum is planning to do so in Casper, interesting, if Byteball uses this anti-cheat measure.

casper goes a little far away, but for a decentralized network, it's hard to find a way to restraint nodes behavior.

bitcoin only use reward structure for good nodes, no punishment for bad nodes.  Wink

metropolis will come first.

here is a good article:

Hello, i updated my full wallet to v. 0.18 and made a full encrypted backup while it was synching (synch took over 24h) and tried to make another one now and it doesnt work, I get a red backup failed message... Why would this happen?
Am i good just copying byteball.sqlite manually? Is the first backup OK (i havent received yet all my coins at the moment of backup)?

u can make a full backup manually by copying the whole folder C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local\byteball (Win10).
3903  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [PASC] PascalCoin, deletable blockchain & bank account system [PASA] on: April 25, 2017, 11:16:06 AM
PASA market was closed due to timeout issues as one user deposited 46000 accounts. By the way 46000 operations were successfully carried out in block 86293. I think fist blockchain to handle such huge number of operations in a single block.

i told it before and i'm telling it again – PASA market should accept btc payments for pasc accounts – it's the easiest way for new adopters to get an account.

also it would be pefrect to implement accounts trading inside the pasc wallet.

just imho.
PASA market does not accept any other crypto. Only pascal coins are received. If you want to buy PASA you have to buy Pascal coins in exchange first thank you. POLONIEX exchange recommendations. link --->> poloniex.com

Because everyone is entitled to get the best cryptocurrency. I think the PASC (pascal coin)/PASA (pascal account) is not comparable to any cryptocurrency. Pascal coin is special, like real money in your own bank account. The account number, the wallet is very quickly synchronized unlike the other takes weeks, the community is very fast growing. I predict the pascal coin will be the main crypto.

Poloniex has an issue with sending Pascal coins. I sent PASC to another member here over six days ago and the coins have not been sent. Poloniex shows a tx hash and the coins were deducted from my account, but the coins were not sent and the tx hash does not show in the block explorer. I have been waiting over six days for Poloniex to respond to my service request. I suggest people use another exchange to send coins for PASA, not Poloniex as there is a chance you will lose your coins.

I do not understand your problem with poloniex. But I am always fluent when withdrawing to my wallet. Is there other than you having problem with poloniex during withdrawal?

Yes some other members here had the same issue and the same lack of response from Poloniex. Almost been a full week now. Coins not sent and no response from customer support.

it seeme that polo has some huge depo/withdrawals issues not only with pasc.

hope they will fix it soon.

any news about pasa market launching again?
3906  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: BYTEBALL: Totally new consensus algorithm + private untraceable payments on: April 25, 2017, 08:27:46 AM
This is highest stable price is fiat for any altcoin, I am not referring at temporary fabricated price which couldn't be sustained for long time so far, as long as I know in my active period. Byteball is looking much more stable and good than ever before even at these high prices. Next round is going to being more people on board without ant talk about it.

don't forget about one man management of entire system + only 16 % of total amount are distributed + we can't be sure about large scale implementation.

Can you someone tell me ethermine.org how long it takes after mining 20 coins until you get the PASA award? I have been paid out over 20 coins but I have not been given a PASA yet.

definitely u can't mine pasc at ethermine.org

at this time there is only one pool – https://pasc.nanopool.org

and u get 1 pasa for every mined 20 pasc.

PASA Market registration is open, help spread the word

https://www.pascwallet.com

good to hear that , i want to buy a account just like my phone number or QQ number..

it would be great to add btc payments into the market.

If you are not in the slack channel, I have posted a prerelease walkthrough video of the PASA Market I have built. It is ready for beta testing and a few slack community members will be testing in the next coming days.

https://youtu.be/m_hej5ZmbPI

Testing is looking good. Everything is working as intended so far. I have a few more testers banging on the app, so once they approve, I'll be opening registration.

https support added, still in closed beta testing - https://www.pascwallet.com

well done but there is a bad need to implement this accounts trading inside the wallet.

How would you predict PASC & PASA prices one year ahead?  Roll Eyes

who knows... but i can say for sure that during next 3-5 years there will be huge pumps and dumps. ☺
3912  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [PASC] PascalCoin, deletable blockchain & bank account system [PASA] on: April 18, 2017, 01:18:48 PM
Selling accounts for 25-30 PASC is only hurting the coin not making it better.

This is exactly the kind of mentality that holds this coin back.

let's agree to disagree.

25-30 – is quite resonable value.

u can't trade 'em just for the mining price.

besides at this time 30 pasc is no such a big money.

we need only one thing – good market (inside the wallet or another comfy way).

I would like an account also. PM'd the dev but he did not respond. My public key is

Thanks in advance for anyone that can spare one.

Account is more expensive than coin! So maybe you should think about to buy one

I have tried to buy one but everyone I have PM'd that have mentioned they have them for sale have not responded. Only one person responded and he said he sells them in bulk only. He mentioned the DEV gives them away upon request but the DEV has not replied to my PM either. I will have one in a work mining anyway, but wanted to get one with an easy to remember account number.
everyone waits it open a new market PASA (PASCAL ACCOUNT) for selling and buying PASA. Therefore for the time being all held to sell the PASA in order to get a reasonable price.

imho the reasonable price should be 25-30 pasc for each account.
That's been the going rate I've been selling them at the past few months. :-)

so we've got theory and practice meeting. ☺
3916  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [PASC] PascalCoin, deletable blockchain & bank account system [PASA] on: April 17, 2017, 04:38:27 PM
imho the reasonable price should be 25-30 pasc for each account.

Why do you think so?
I don't think price should be that high. Because then, it would mean that you're mining account and not coin anymore since i get more from account in a mined block :/

cause there is should be a bigger price than just mineable value.

so if someone can't mine → he must pay a some fee (5-10 pasc) to miners.

it's just my opinion. ☺

Why is Byteball rising? I thought that after airdrop people will sell their byteballs...

Is Byteball really good?

big dump will hapen soon (it's usual after such rising).

without any doubt byteball is definitely good.

Hello everybody. Tell me please what is the maximum number of PASC coins and in what year will their number be the maximum? Smiley

Would be cool if you can read the first post instead of writing useless comments.

I read it before asking the question. I wanted to clarify some points. Why are there so few accounts? Developers do not count on the great popularity of the coin?

Accounts are created on the blockchain. There are five new accounts every block created. You can have a payload sub account under an exchange's account, such as Poloniex. If you mine on Nano pool they will award you an account every 20 coins you earn mining. You need to install the wallet and export your wallet's public key. Without an account the wallet cannot receive coins.

According to the first page
http://Https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1583719.0
After 4 years, 42 million coins will be mined, and 2.1 million accounts for a personal wallet will be available? Did I understand correctly?
Thanks for the answer Smiley

u got it right.

this follows from the pic:
