Yes they are dropping points against teams they should be beating but that is the excitement of the Premier League. Any team on their day can beat their opponent  Grin

The early kick-off game has ended with a draw at Old Trafford. Everton are steadily improving under their new manager Benitez on a small budget but Manchester United should have been more established by now under their manager with the money he has spent. Even though they are in 2nd place in the Premier League table Manchester United look vulnerable.
Manchester is losing points in too many games, they do it in the Premier League and in the Champions League. Today, if it were not the VAR, United could have lost the game. I still expect from the team when they start to defeat everyone, scoring a lot of goals, but in fact Manchester United is barely bringing the match to a draw. Maybe in this match, it is the merit of Benitez and Everton?

3923  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [ BOXING POLL ADDED ] JOSHUA vs USYK on: October 02, 2021, 10:28:05 AM
At the end of the fight Usyk hit Joshua so much so that Joshua lowered his hands and was sitting on the ropes waiting to be battered and floored, he thought a KO was coming but Usyk was also out of stream by that point and was waiting to get his breath back to begin his final flurry of punches but the bell was sounded - it was round 12 after all.

Had it been 19 seconds remaining instead of 9 then Usyk would have won by knockout because Joshua would not have risen before the count of 10.

The defeats to Ruiz and Usyk proved how technically inept Joshua really is. With that body frame and physical aesthetics he should be bullying opponents and being on the front foot but he is incapable of doing that against dangerous opponents. The more worrying thing for team Joshua and the fighter himself would be the manner in which his victories came against fighters that he should have defeated within 3-4 rounds such as Povetkin (7 rounds) and Pulev (9 rounds) when both fighters around 39 years old. Even the victory against Wladimir Klitschko was a close call because Joshua was floored for the first time in his career but he ended up defeating 41 year old Klitschko in 11 rounds.

Those statistics do not provide reason to be enthusiastic about Joshua vs Usyk II. If Joshua loses to Usyk then his career is effectively over but if he manages to defeat Usyk he will probably be beaten by the winner of Fury vs Wilder III because on current he will be demolished by Fury and would not stand much of a chance against Wilder either.

For Joshua if he really wants redemption and he really wants to be taken seriously then he needs an emphatic victory against Usyk by a KO because there is no way he can outbox or outlast Usyk over 12 rounds. Joshua needs a new game plan otherwise he will face the consequences of his inaction when he meets Usyk for the re-match.

In any case, if there is a rematch, I would bet Joshua. This might only be another Ruiz moment, I reckon.
Nah, I don't think so. The Ruiz fight Joshua was winning the fight prior to being caught when they were exchanging back, and forth. In fact, I believe he had already knocked down Ruiz a few times prior to being knocked down himself. However, this fight was completely different, he was never winning in this fight, and it didn't even look close. Unfortunately, the score cards by the judges make it closer than it actually was, and probably because of the British bias, but I had Joshua winning maybe 4 rounds maximum, but probably more like 3 rounds at a push.

He was outworked, out skilled, and looked like he got wobbled quite a few times, and not just the once in the last few seconds of the last round. He would need to significantly improve, and probably revert back to his old ways, and go for the knockout quickly. Otherwise, Usyk will do more of the same in the rematch.

All I can say is for all those reading this thread to stay away from the 1xbit scammers otherwise the inevitability is that you will end having your funds and winnings confiscated without any reason except them citing it was conducted under their nonsensical terms and conditions.

3926  Economy / Reputation / Re: iv4n: Looking for feedback - should the negative tag remain? on: October 01, 2021, 09:32:05 PM
Should DT be tagging members for leaving anything other than negatively-worded reviews for what are in all likelihood scam services?

Sometimes yes if the scam element is obvious, however, it someone realizes what they did wasn't worth it and is unlikely to do it again, I think the negs should be removed or at least downgraded to neutrals.
He has mentioned he sees nothing wrong with his post but also says that he should have been aware of scam accusations so that is a much better position he is in now than before therefore the feedback will be changed to neutral.

I have no problems with my post but looks like I should be a lot more aware of scam accusations around (and there are plenty of them for almost all services) and act accordingly! So before writing my own opinion and about my own experience, I should mention all scam accusations around and possible risks when dealing with a specific service!
It is nice to know you reflected on this and are aware that your posts can have an impact. Thank you iv4n, the feedback will be changed to neutral.

Jolly I think you should really stop this drama and change his negative feedback to neutral, that was also suggested by majority of DT members here in this topic including me.

We can all agree that his post for 1xbit has zero value, but I think that he learned his lesson and he will think twice before writing something similar in future.
I hope he has learned from this experience, it certainly seems he has from what he wrote.

Thank you to all who commented in this thread, I appreciate any input regardless of where you stood on the issue. The feedback will be changed to neutral therefore it is time to lock this thread.
3927  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [ BOXING POLL ADDED ] JOSHUA vs USYK on: October 01, 2021, 09:18:01 PM
Usyk will have a game plan but I have no doubt when Fury lands a few punches his agenda will change and he will try to adapt to cope with Fury. Fury will do to Usyk what Usyk did to Joshua by landing a few punches in the first round and then unsettling the opponent. In some way I would like to see Fury vs Joshua fight for the unification of all the belts but so far Usyk has earned the right to be there in the ring with Fury but Wilder and Joshua will still be wanting to write their own history and have a say.

I feel like even at this age, Fury has got one of the better powerful hands, to be honest. Yes, Usyk is very agile, but how long will that help him, once he gets those hands on him, he will be trying to back off and only then Fury will overpower him and try to finish the game. But before that, in the rematch, I'm hoping that Usyk will win over Joshua as he seems like he can counter Joshua pretty well from what I have seen. And Fury also should be winning, with Wilder in the rematch.
3928  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [ BOXING POLL ADDED ] JOSHUA vs USYK on: October 01, 2021, 03:55:29 PM
If they fight, Fury will overpower Usyk just as he did with Wilder by being on the front foot and getting Wilder to walk back. I think you are spot on when you say speed will not help Usyk because when Fury hits him he will feel the impact. Not many would give Usyk any chance of beating Usyk but before that fight can take place he needs to defeat Joshua in the re-match and also Fury must defeat Wilder in their re-match.

I still see Fury being the one who walks away from this as the unified undisputed heavyweight champion before the end of 2022. Maybe a fight or two in 2023 before he retires.

There's only so much weight someone can put on before it becomes a hinderance as bodybuilders often don't make good fighters and are too bulky. Usyk obviously isn't a true heavyweight and I think he would struggle to get much bigger than he is right now but he should just do what he did against AJ and try outbox him and dodge whatever Fury throws at him. Easier said than done though and I think Fury is a better boxer than AJ.

Indeed Usyk is not a heavyweight. Joshua weight was 8kg more than Oleksanders. And Tyson Fury is (or was) 16kg heavier than Joshua.
Btw, comparing Fury and Joshua, Fury is more faster. I think this is due to Anthony being a heavyweight because he has pumped his muscles, which hinder more than help. While Fury has a lot of weight in his "life buoy ring". But frankly, Fury is to big for Usyk. Speed wont help him to avoid Fury's bombs.

You are mistaken, the impression you were under is misguided I did not lock the thread to avoid reading views against the tag.

Thread unlocked for the time being: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5361695.0

Well, how's it going with iv4n's negative tag? I ask about this here because a specially created thread was blocked ... and I get the impression that the thread was blocked so that no longer listen to those who are against this tag.

I will not be scattered with words, but I also think that the list of mistrust of 3000 names is also 99% meaningless, (except for slowing down pages with bpip logs).
3930  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [ BOXING POLL ADDED ]: Fury vs Wilder III - THE TRILOGY IS BACK ON !!! on: October 01, 2021, 12:24:04 PM
Fury beat Wladimir Klitschko in 2015 to become IBF, IBO, WBA, WBO, Lineal and The Ring heavyweight champion but he gave up the belts after being mentally unwell in 2016 for the re-match. From that point until he beat Wilder to gain the WBC belt I think Fury did not hold any titles.

I think you are right, re-match clauses are there for champions to defend their interest and Wilder was champion going in to the first fight. If Wilder wins there will not be an immediate 4th fight because Fury will not be in a negotiating position. In that case the only way Fury vs Wilder 4 can go ahead is if Wilder wins fight III and if Fury becomes WBC number one contender again.

All these ifs and buts aside, Fury should win the fight then line up to be unified undisputed world heavyweight champion and to be honest he deserves to hold all the belts, make at least one defence then retire. I think having Wilder as his next fight then the winner of Joshua vs Usyk II as his penultimate opponent tu unify the belts then make one defence before retiring undefeated it would a great end to his career.

After that Fury can go in to broadcasting because all the sports and media channels around the world will be lining up to have him as their presenter.

When they fought the first and second time Wilder was WBC champion at the time but Fury to my knowledge had no titles. Can you clarify which title Fury held at the time?

I agree about adding re-match clauses, they always favour the champion as it gives an opportunity for them to regain their titles in the event of a loss. The way Lennox Lewis punished and defeated Hasim Rahman in the re-match was a perfect example of how a superior fighter can get caught by a perfect punch and get knocked out then come back and just show the world how great a fighter he is by winning the re-match in perfect style.
I guess I was mistaken. I thought he had several belts on the line going into that fight but I guess they were vacated? I think only the current champion's can have rematch clauses. Otherwise the challenger would just invoke them after a loss.

I might have this wrong but I think the original fight had a re-match clause which would have allowed Wilder to have a re-match had he lost but that fight was declared a draw.

Later when they fought Fury vs Wilder II they had the same contract as the original fight because Wilder was WBC champion and Fury had zero belts.

The re-match has only been inserted once in any contract and that was in favour of Wilder because he was the WBC belt holder and that re-match clause has been activated once which has resulted in Fury vs Wilder II taking place.

If Wilder wins the third fight Fury has no way of forcing Wilder in to another fight because Fury had no way to negotiate that in to the contract as they are following the original clause in the original contract.

Maybe, or they just had the rematch because it was the logical thing to do with no winner being declared. They both had belts though at the time so they both probably had rematch clauses in their contracts. It's wise to put them in even if you don't plan to evoke them but the loser always will 99% of the time. Silly not to even if you were beat by a mile.

There's a good little documentary on the Fury's by BT Sports here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qm5G6-DECG0

It's more about his father though.

Considering they were beaten in their previous Premier League game by Manchester City and also that they were beaten in the Champions League by Juventus yesterday, Chelsea need a win to keep morale up. They should have a win against Southampton but playing away will not be easy.

Chelsea are going to play a match against Southampton home this weekend. Southampton are one of the loser teams this season as they still don't have any win in 6 matches. But they got a draw four times and one of them was against Manchester City away. This should be enough to be a warning for Chelsea. They should work hard to make their fans forget about the Manchester City loss. And they must win this to do that.
3939  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [ BOXING POLL ADDED ] JOSHUA vs USYK on: September 30, 2021, 11:13:03 AM
You are right there was always a chance a big hitter like Joshua could have caused damaged to Fury if not by KO then by at least getting him on the canvas for a count of 5 or 6 and hurting his pride but he must definitely prefer to fight Usyk.

I am sure Fury will beat Wilder because Wilder has shown signs he is not mentally prepared and should not even be boxing for the time being. With that right hand sure he is a potential banana skin for Fury but overall how many of us actually see Wilder winning?

We all know what Fury is capable of doing in the ring but now he has the added motivation of being a unified undisputed heavyweight champion if he can get past Wilder again and if can beat the winner of Joshua vs Usyk II. Even if Usyk defeated Joshua again then managed to put on weight, he will be no match for Fury.
Surely Fury is relishing the idea of fighting Usyk instead of Joshua for the belts too, since I would like to think there would be less risk of getting knock out, although I don't think it'll be any easier for Fury, however he'll probably get a kick out of fighting someone as technical as Usyk, since throughout his career he seems to the one with the better technical ability. I don't see how Joshua wins the rematch, Usyk moves his head constantly, and Joshua isn't exactly the most accurate with his big punches, and seems to struggle with fighters that are quick, and have good footwork.

This Fury fight against Wilder is going to be nerve wracking, I just have a feeling there's a potential banana skin here for Fury, he can't be caught napping otherwise he'll be literally napping on the canvas. I don't think it's going to go like round two vs Wilder, I actually think it'll be slightly more competitive like the first bout, though I personally had Fury winning that despite the late knock down.

I think that in order to be able to seriously talk about the Fury - Usyk fight as a competitive one, it is necessary that Usyk gain at least a little weight (can he, given that he has already moved to a new weight category for himself?). Now Usyk weighs 100 kg, and Fury 123 (or already more) - 23 kilograms of difference, in fact, they are in different weight categories.
