3921  Economy / Speculation / Re: Any relation between market dump and Biden's win? on: November 07, 2020, 07:52:19 PM
Already a video of Trump leaving the White House is getting viral around the internet. Here he has been moving from White House to his golf club. When there is change in the world power ruler, surely it'll cause little disturbance in the market. That's what we're experiencing with our cryptocurrency market. Right now it has fallen low to $15000.
3922  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: American election is nothing to do with BTC on: November 07, 2020, 04:51:33 PM
During the previous US election time too there is growth with the price of bitcoin. By that time price of bitcoin was found to be around $550 - $600. This showed gradual rise making the price reach around $800. This time bitcoin price seems to peak high and at the same time there is good stability. We've been experiencing better days of 2020, on the other side people who have invested on other things were feeling bad of their choices.
3923  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CAN WE STILL GET THE 2017 BULL IN THIS 2020? on: November 07, 2020, 12:26:53 AM
There is more possible chances of experiencing a bull run same as 2017, because right now we've been seeing continued price rally. Several predictions were out relating the market movements with different things. Some state as the impact of USA election results, while some mention it as the after effects of bitcoin halving. We don't know how far is the reality, anyhow if this year turns to be 2017 more DEFI is gonna benefit out of it. Cheesy Cool
3924  Economy / Economics / Re: "Humans will not be replaced by robots very soon" --- yeah right !!! on: November 06, 2020, 11:57:16 PM
However we innovate robots through artificial intelligence, it is quite hard to have the same of intelligence as human. Maybe this will do the tasks as and perform in a much efficient way than human beings, but there needs a person to give tasks and programs it according to the work assigned. Scientists were into deep research to create robots same as human, those are innovation to be recorded.

Right now most of the middle class people are getting turned to be robots, because they weren't able to think beyond work and personal life. A man wakes at the morning, gets ready and moves to the office. Once the office gets over he returns back takes rest and the routine goes on. To live they are supposed to act in such a way.
3925  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: State-Issued Digital Currencies - Why do you need to sell all your bitcoin on: November 06, 2020, 11:32:35 PM
Whatever might the fact, you write the article. Go through it and understand what does these state backed digital currencies do. Simply you can write about the traditional currency, because these state issued digital currencies were just a digital cash backed with stablecoins. This shouldn't be compared against bitcoin. One who sell bitcoin for these state issued digital currencies will be the uneducated politicians.
3926  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Another 2017 kinda year is already around the corner on: November 05, 2020, 10:51:46 PM
Don't know how far is the close move happening with bitcoin by the year 2017 and the present. However there is significant growth in the price of bitcoin, followed by the bitcoin is the growth of altcoins. In the past when the market grew bullish, ICO were much hyped. To the hype it gave good profit to the users who cashed it out by that time. Now we're in the DEFI hype, so we've got much close connection between the two years.
3927  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Have you received a call/text recently from a friend/fam asking about Bitcoin? on: November 05, 2020, 09:57:24 PM
Recently it happened with one of my cousin. He volunteered to know about bitcoin while we're into discussion about education. He opened up about so many mechanical engineering related topics as he's pursuing his professional course on Mechanical Engineering. I was listening to it, and on random conversation he requested to know about bitcoin. I started to brief it in a simple way about its virtual presence and value fluctuation.

After few minutes I got disturbed, because he should believe or else he needs to know through different services available to know the legitimacy. I need to brief further, but his words weren't so comfy. Most of the time I prefer to give basic and request them to learn by themselves which is better.
3928  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The main driving force behind bitcoin rally on: November 05, 2020, 03:34:56 PM
That's true, the effects of halving is felt now. This isn't the first time, during the previous bull run the market reacted after a long time from halving. This too looks something similar to that. By that time more inflow of money took place which kept the market grow higher and higher.

Right now we've got more large scale companies investing on bitcoin. Few companies have already recorded their profit out of the investment. This time the gradual growth is happening due to the halving, and the further growth is happening as a result of more large scale investment.
3929  Economy / Gambling / Re: Find out about the Best Bitcoin Casinos or any other Casinos ;) on: November 04, 2020, 11:59:39 PM
You can make an announcement thread for the review site. This will let your site visited by more users. As of now we've got more such review platforms giving detailed difference between different sites. I find most of these services have sites that aren't more familiar. Good is to add sites that are being much used by the forum members.
3930  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why Bitcoin price are decreasing? on: November 04, 2020, 11:25:20 PM
Price has been reacting positively since the weekend, I thought it would be more neutral to negative.  However we have regained the weekly and 2 day average for quite positive momentum, Im not sure if thats just following the main markets blindly or not.

Im finding it hard to judge right now, I guess the news is making for murky price prediction but we cant say its acting negatively and in fact there are high expectations presently.   I always take over expectation as a danger somewhat.
As for market is concerned now we've crossed $14000. This has happened with a slow and steady manner, but the market itself gets connected with the US election counting. This is being done as the market pumping has taken place today, particularly the price is stabilizing above $14000 rather than falling low in a short time period.

As in the above quote by @STT, the growth seems to be positive and gaining momentum. For these days it is always good to be prepared with immediate plans if you're into trading as the market deviation could happen anytime.
3931  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Payments Giant Paypal Says Its Customers Can Now Buy and Sell Bitcoin on: November 04, 2020, 04:26:57 PM
As of now what paypal does is just an addition of service for bitcoin. The same has been taken to discussion on different dimensions. As per my knowledge about paypal and bitcoin, there is more chances of interconnected functioning but the same won't help with large scale adoption. What's been happening with the PayPal acceptance is a promotion for bitcoin. Yesterday paypal too increased the buying/selling limit to $15000 as large scale individual investors are showing interest.
3932  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: dollar vs bitcoin on: November 02, 2020, 11:20:09 PM
if dollar goes strong agianst btc then btc goes down?

Grin can donate btc to federal reserve to make them not make dollar strong again and keep printing:D Cheesy Cheesy
those bankers like money i think if crypto users will donate to them it will keep btc price good  Grin
Thats a wrong assumption, just because people donating bitcoin to the federal reserve USD won't get stronger. USD is tied up with various factors. The financial system isn't prepared to operate along with bitcoin, maybe in the future we can see co-existence.

To stop printing of money is not a possible factor, because the economic need on each day is increasing and not decreasing. Right now Bulgaria is the only country that has begun to consider bitcoin as a reserve and holds more volume than gold. USA hasn't come to that state, and bitcoin being manipulative if there happens a price drop how will be the money printed. So, in practical terms it isn't possible.
3933  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is it enough for YFI or are you still waiting for a magical pump? on: November 02, 2020, 09:22:19 PM
Um,,, you do know that investors did not prove him wrong at all right? Just because they pumped the coin from $3 to $40 does not prove him wrong in fact,,, it kind of proves that the coin ultimately has no value like regular money but speculatory value like 99% of altcoins and tulipmania like assets.
The coin isn't pumped to $40, its been pumped to reach $40k+ from mere $3 which is something very very big in the history of cryptocurrency. Such a high price pumping happened in two months of time. Though it doesn't have any value, it has created a market through this hard pumping.

Once after price reaching $40k+ more investors and traders gave preference, because of the profitability. Slowly the money flow had got lowered as the price dropped low. However on the other side people seems to keep investing expecting the magical pump as mentioned in the thread title. Myself too believe in such a pump in the coming days.
3934  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does Bitcoin price rise affect your gameplay? on: November 02, 2020, 02:33:40 PM
Whether the price is low or it is in the peak, people continue to gamble once they tasted it. The growth won't make any cause with the gambling sites, because unlike the betting value or the cryptocurrency the revenue is out of the house edge. Only thing that varies when there is growth and decline in the price of bitcoin is the betting value. When the price keeps increasing people prefer spending in USD and when it is low the same is spend in terms of bitcoin or other cryptocurrency.
3935  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will bitcoin co-exist with the current financial system on: November 02, 2020, 12:45:05 PM
More large companies are getting into bitcoin for investment purpose and as reserve to back the company. The recent involvement of paypal into bitcoin business is an example of bitcoin co-existing with the financial services.

Already we've got more such ventures functioning along with bitcoin. One of the UK based venture Cashaa is partnering with UNICAS of India to provide user friendly cryptocurrency buying and selling through savings bank account. Initially it has planned for 34 branches within India. Likewise the co-existence of bitcoin with current financial system has begun.
3936  Economy / Economics / Re: Second lockdown in Europe can their economy survive this?. on: November 02, 2020, 04:34:02 AM
Right now people are prepared to face the crisis. When it is new, there is more fear and the impact was very severe. By that time governments were also unable to tackle the situation as the spreading is quite fast compared to the present days. Now people have made precautions and majority of the people have started to wear mask and avoid touch. The second lockdown is imposed out of second wave of virus spreading.

Germany being highly technology dependent and manufacturing focused it will be a blow to the economy when there lacks production. France is combined of the fashion industry which also contributes to a massive amount to the economy. The country operates with better precaution, this lockdown will not have a big blow over the economy as the past.
3937  Economy / Economics / Re: In COVID-19 everyone needs motivation on: November 02, 2020, 03:31:42 AM
I think this is every worst situation for all, especially those who are suffering from the pandemic, so we have one option that is to find a way to turn it into positive.
Many died as well, lost our jobs, our businesses and everything, so we really couldn't say it's a blessing. But in this condition, we should just look forward and think about of next-generation future. otherwise, our upcoming generation will also suffer as now we are facing

Even before Corona Virus is labeled as a Pandemic Crisis, most people in third world countries are suffering from the loss of jobs and food to eat. This pandemic further crushes these people who already had it bad. Motivation is not enough (i guess?) for most people since what they need is help from someone or even from the government. Lets just hope that most governments would follow the example of New Zealand since they are one of the best countries that has mitigated the outbreak.
That's true, motivation is not enough but it can help everyone to move forward and think positive that there is a bright tomorrow waiting for everyone. About the help from the government, I think it is provided, it is just not enough to help each and every one of their citizen. The same in our country, that is one of the problem since not anyone received help from the government due to not having enough funds for that program.
Yes, motivation is part of life. Obstacles need to be overcome, but at situation it isn't an easy task when the doors on all the sides were closed. By the time if we keep ourselves motivated it'll make us hopeful. More such scenario has prevailed in the past, people have overcome it. Likewise this time the world will heal soon.

Every government tries to help the people, but the execution sometimes fail due to the shortage of economy. This is being realised by the common public, but in certain countries even at the worse governments are trying to make money out of the people which is ridiculous act.
3938  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC can reach $ 20000 after PayPal, Venmo accept payments in BTC, ETH? on: November 02, 2020, 01:51:05 AM
All this covid news around the world may make the situation worse, unfortunately. However, we still have a chance for a 15k+ price
But, the price is moving nice and steady now so I believe this is because of a lot of factors and even the virus is slowing down now if the news is to be trusted so I guess the economy has started to recover for every country and investments in bitcoins are now coming in.

The paypal news has certainly helped but I am sure if not even the Paypal news we would still see a rise as we always see at the end of year and yeah the price has started to increase sooner because usually the pump starts to happen around December mid or early December. I am hopeful the next year we can see at least 16k if not the ATH and hence 20k but that said I am not going to get too hopeful because the hike in prices are usually followed by small drops as traders call them correction.
The virus isn't slowing down, everyday more new cases are getting reported than the previous day. The governments have begun to go normal without any form of restrictions as they weren't able to manage the economy. As a part governments have begun the plans of revealing data regarding corona cases with manipulation. This is why it looks like corona got slowed down.

Even at this worse situation we've been travelling good. This is the goodness of bitcoin, and the same can't be attributed with the PayPal and Venmo accepting bitcoin. Even in the past whenever there happens growth it automatically gets related with the news that rolls connecting a firm and bitcoin. From my view what we see is slow and steady growth. It could've been the impact of paypal if the price was found declining during the previous months of corona and started to grow on PayPal's decision.
3939  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How can we stop bitcoin scammers? on: November 02, 2020, 01:07:15 AM
Nowhere it is possible to develop a cent percent efficient systematic process where it is repellent to scammers. The first think that can restrict scammers is through education and particularly about the technical parameters associated with bitcoin.

Most commonly we used to mention bitcoin is risky, here we need to brief why it is risky. Further we need to give the explanation, how this risk factors can be overcome. Next we need to elaborate about the way bitcoin can be kept secure. Make people understand the private key and the way a transaction can be handled. It isn't an overnight process. People have a thinking of making money overnight which is the major cause for getting into the hands of scammers. Step by step we need to make people know the truth about bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies which is how getting scammed can be avoided to certain point.
