no . hacking does not work that way  . an exchange or almost any websites can get hack no matter how much money it already raised or no matter how much trust/reputation it already gained  . the reason why people still trust exchange with thier money is because they need it to trade or to buy cryptos . hacking incidents like this does not mean that all exchange are indangered now  . of course exchanges also tighten thier  fire walls so that hackers cannot penetrate easily

the op's ask for staking a coin and not just simply storing a coin   . still you still have a plus point here because that is also what i think about . i think staking on a wallet or simply storing a coin on a wallet is more safer than putting it on any exchange because an exchange can collapse or hacked but wallets ?  you have a full control on your wallet as long as it gives you your private key's    . the only difference would be the rate's   . i think exchange has a gooder rate's compare to a wallet staking .

its possible . there are news on the past which claim's to be that bitcoin is like thier daily currency because they use btc more than they use thier own fiat currency  . that happens because they were having a problem financialy or they simply have a problem with thier own currency so they look for alternative's  .

op is a smart guy because he knows that long term hodl is not guarantee  . you will never know if what is waiting for you at the end . there are no signs if the price already reach its limit or not  but calling it a joke is not a proper word anymore because long term hodling still exist  . joke only means if a thing is not true   .  this is why i dont long term hodl but i only do short term hodl which also works good on my side  . i dont regret afterall because i can just buy back again if ever i miss some great opurtunity .

yes i did that before but i dont write my analysis on a paper but i only use online calculators  . i sum up the total of bets would take to hit that high multiplier   .

 i then allocate an amount based on my calculation if i still didnt hit that multiplier and my bankroll already got busted , i will just stop and ill try again next time  .  these experiments of mine sometimes work but sometimes dont , i guess that also depend on my luck  .

it cant be dumped for no reason .  when a coin dump the common reason is there are bad news  . its not bad to ask on here because this is a forum and not all people do have a free time to check every legit crypto sites just to only know the reason of the dump  .  the dump is not also normal because the dumped were getting harder and harder every single day  . normal dump only mean that the the price will only fall a few bucks and will instantly recover after an hour or two
