3921  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Using crypto to trade crude oil or broker necessary on: March 09, 2022, 01:47:50 PM
Although I never tried this process myself, you should be able to do that with eToro since they support both Oil and BTC trading on their platform.
Thank you very much, I saw eToro when I was searching online too but I thought the exchange is not supporting my country, I checked it now and it supports my country. I will like this thread to remain active, I will make use of eToro and see if the exchange offer excellent trading experience.
3922  Economy / Trading Discussion / Using crypto to trade crude oil or broker necessary on: March 09, 2022, 01:26:56 PM
I am not a forex person, I prefer crypto because I am use to crypto. I have noticed on some exchanges about cryptocurrencies backed by gold which you can trade on crypto exchanges. Recently, I am interested to trade crude oil, but I will prefer to trade crude oil on crypto exchange, which it can be a crude oil backed cryptocurrency. I checked online for any available crude oil backed cryptocurrency but I found none.

If there is non as I believe there will be none according to my research, I may like to make use of a broker instead of using an exchange for this but I have little information about forex brokers. Like in crypto, we can easily know exchanges by trading volume and know the type of cryptocurrencies each are supporting, is there any legit site like that about forex which I can know their trading volume and how reputable they are.

You can also list some brokers you use to trade crude oil to know if I can find it easy and reputable to use after I make my further research about the broker.
3923  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Scalpers and day traders - Never lie, be realistic. on: March 09, 2022, 12:20:26 PM
Day trading is capital intensive while scalping is based on the level of greed control no matter the capital. Day traders might have a good analysis but most times retracement could trigger stop loss or blow than a trading account with a small capital. While scalping takes advantage of immediate volatility one can make profit both ways it all boils down to discipline
Scalping and day trading are not capital intensive, it depends on the amount you as a trader use to trade but the shorter the time the lower the amount to be used to trade by traders. Assuming you have $1000 for trading, experienced traders can use it to trade and hold like this:

$100 or less for scalping
$100 or less for day trading
$300 for swing trading
$500 or more for holding.

Both day trading and scalping are very risky, very low amount of money should be used it for it. It is not only also about greed control, you can be able to control your greed but enter market or position at the wrong price that will go against your profit making side. Trading should be well learned before starting and using what you can afford to lose are all part of trading strategy.
3924  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread -- 2021/22 Round of 16! on: March 09, 2022, 12:03:49 PM
Bayern Munich evaporated their opponent last night.  Grin  I was expecting them to crush Salzburg but this result was more than I expected.
Don't you know if history repeats itself, we should still expect more goals from Bayern, when Salzburg played draw with Bayern in the first match make people know that the second match will not be easy. Bayern like to trash some clubs in UCL. Only what I was surprised about was that Inter scored and won Liverpool in their second match, I was expecting Liverpool to at least score a single goal but Liverpool score none, if not for the first match, it would have been tough for Liverpool to qualify for the next round. Inter Milan will now have more focus on Seria A.
3925  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The paradox of arbitrage betting (and how to make money on it) on: March 09, 2022, 11:45:35 AM
I prefer to bet on sport, most especially football where arbitrage betting or what you call it is not possible. If you take win for match bet A and you take win for match bet B, if the end result is draw, the person will both lose on both matches and have minimum losses. I am not a person that take betting special, I bet on what I can afford to lose and either win or lose. I will prefer to go for a single bet rathe than complicating the whole thing.
3926  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin $40000 resistance on: March 09, 2022, 09:33:33 AM
If the bitcoin price can drop below $40,000, it's time to buy bitcoin but not buy ALL-IN because it's too risky.
I don't have accurate information because we can't predict where bitcoin will move.
We can only get ready to set a buy or sell target based on our analysis.
Right now is probably a good time to sell some of the bitcoins we have and if you can sell your bitcoin at a high price, you can place a buy for under $40,000.
I understand your strategy, it is a good one, buying at $40000, but not with all investment capital, it can be 1/4 of your investment capital, to be able to prepare if the market dip more below and buy more at certain price. But what I am just thinking is that bitcoin will fall below $40000, the price has started increasing since 10 hours ago as now at $42100 and still increasing, but I still think the resistance at $40000 is strong as it is also more likely the price will fall below $40000 again. You have a good investment advice.
3927  Economy / Speculation / Bitcoin $40000 resistance on: March 08, 2022, 07:08:23 PM
I am thinking history is repeating itself, bitcoin reach ATH of $69000, as of that time till now, bitcoin price has been with net decrease. Bitcoin price reach $50000 and later falled below $40000. $40000 is now the present resistance as the price increased above $40000 and decrease below again. What I am thinking right now is that bitcoin market will not favor the buy side and we do not yet know the extent the downturn can be.

What are you people suggesting, is this time to buy bitcoin or a time to just to have sold and wait for another bull market because this time will be more of the bears than bulls while the bulls are turning to bears making the market not to favor the upside.

Please, give accurate information as you are think it can be, we all still know that bitcoin price will rise and reach ATH again.
3928  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: It seems that more people taking crypto trading as full time job on: March 07, 2022, 06:57:26 PM
Future trading is one of the most popular ways to make full time income.
Means of making income? It can be means of losing (all your) income too. Newbies can like to go for high leverage like 10x to 100x, 5x leverage is even still high but what do comes to the mind of newbies is to try to use high leverage and thinking they will gain than lose. Newbies do not even trade, they are gambling with market, they will lose and depressed.

You can read this topcic:
What Can Happen If You Want to Trade Cryptocurrencies, but You Don’t Know How?

The best advice you can be given is to use the amount of money you can afford to lose. Make use of low amount of money to trade. Beginners are always losing, it takes time before you will be able to make profit. Some people will trade and make losses than profit even irrespective of how old they are in trading.

Do not see trading as investment or as a means of making income, this can even create a poor mindset in a way you will be setting goals that may not be achieved.

Be patient, if you scalp and day trade and continue to lose, you should know it is high time to swing trades or just hold. Avoid shit coins.
3929  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: March 07, 2022, 02:14:04 PM
I really don't blame Christiano Ronaldo if he refuses to play, Rangnick should be blamed. Even at his age Ronaldo is still arguably one of the best in that team and you want him to start from bench in a big game as of that against the top dogs in the league Manchester City? That is really disrespectful to Ronaldo to be honest.
He should not refuse to play, I remember Arjen Robben in Bayern Munich, he was not getting younger and it came to a time he did not use to start any match Bayern wants to play, but he can come in as Bayern is not playing well or at the second half of the match to score more. Can you remember the Champions League final between Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid? The main man of the match was a substitute, but he was a key player too at that time though. A manager would have to strategize and do what is possible for the betterment of a club.  It is not about being one of the best player but about a club playing good.

3931  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Scalpers and day traders - Never lie, be realistic. on: March 07, 2022, 07:07:55 AM
I know forum people who sold bitcoins around $50k by last May month with the plans of swing trading but market disappointed them when it tested $64k and some of them bought back around $61k with the target of $95k levels. It means long term holding may get you any kind of frustrations like this.
What if when bitcoin price rose to $50000, a trader open a short (sell) position with 1x leverage. The liquidation price will be around $100000. Bitcoin reach ATH of $69000 and dropped back. If the person did not sell as of this time, the person is gaining already. I understood you though, you mean spot trading that when converted to fiat or coins like USDT, the person is no more gain or lose.
3932  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto Currency Game on: March 07, 2022, 06:57:14 AM
The game is different from the traditional game in which the programmer ( the producer) own the products (items) and give it to the players.
I do not know what you are talking about but I will like to make this clear for you, the major difference between the traditional gambling and crypto gambling is the method of paying, traditional gambling sites accept fiat while crypto gambling accepts cryptocurrencies, but some crypto gambling sites accept both cryptocurrencies and fiat which is most common. So there is no much difference between them, if you know how to gambling using fiat on gambling sites, you can easily know how to gamble if using cryptocurrencies too, just that one is fiat and the other is crypto.

Edit:
Actually I was trying to know if such game exist. I like to play such game if it exist. I have seen other bet games but not seen the Bitcoin game.

And I was referring to a game called "Crypto currencies Game".
The difference is what we have mentioned above, but almost all other services are the same on gambling sites, just that fiat is for traditional gambling sites and cryptocurrencies for crypto gambling sites, but there are many gambling sites that accepts both fiat and cryptocurrencies.
3933  Economy / Gambling / Re: What's the new big Cryptocasino to use for a UK player on: March 07, 2022, 06:49:16 AM
I used to use Stake.com Allot, but this a while ago, wonder if there's any good competitors for a UK player using a VPN. Haven't gambled in a while and want to use a new site!
Any new good competitors? I also have a swedish passport so i managed to do one of the KYC's for Stake and it was never an issue.
If you are from UK, you should be able to access as many as possible gambling sites because gambling is allowed in UK, you can try some sites on this forum like https://duelbits.com/ or sportbet.io, you should be able to access those sites, also you can see some other gambling sites on this gambling board on this forum, only 1xbit is not reputable among them.

The use of VPN is not illegal. And while it is a case to case basis, gambling casinos do not completely ban VPN use. By using VPN services, gamblers are not automatically violating casino terms and conditions. I guess in most cases it becomes a violation because VPN is being used to avoid being detected that a gambler is playing from a blacklisted or restricted country. The latter is the violation, not the use of VPN.
I have not be reading about VPN use on gambling sites but I know it is better to avoid VPN than to be suspicious, I have preferred to just use IP address which is better. I have noticed some sites, like if you are from USA or you use a VPN that is USA connection, the gambling site will automatically disallow you to to access its services.
3934  Economy / Gambling / Re: How To Access Sportsbet.io or any kind of gambling without VPN on: March 06, 2022, 09:02:54 AM
Right, even Binance doesn’t allow to use multiple account at the same time from the same ip. So there are no way to think they will be tolerate if who using fake information. Undoubtedly for that Binance will go to restrict for such users accounts due to violating their rules and regulation. I think who have make sense then will never use false things in KYC.
People can request for sub account if they meet the requirement, I have not bothered about this before though. But I have not noticed on binance that two accounts with one ID verification can not be verified, but this will not even make any sense, better to go for sub account which binance made difficult other than many other exchanges that you can open sub account easily. Using false KYC will be highly inappropriate but the OP is not talking about using fake KYC but some people can go to the extent of using fake KYC and this will lead to freezing of account if known.
3935  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: An advice for newbies and plebs on: March 06, 2022, 08:55:35 AM
Do you have any calculations or graphic analyzes that prove what you are trying to say here? I don't know, but many are still optimistic about 100K USD before the end of this year, and given the current situation, we still have promises of good volatility.
I do not think bitcoin can rise to $10000 before 2024. What I think can cause this is next halving fomo. If it happens like that, then history still repeats itself.

So far we have not seen a correction of 80% and therefore it is difficult to rely on historical data.
Yes, the market is still having around 24% correction, there should still be more.

Day traders can make money too especially the swing traders who wait for the right time and execute their trades because market is swinging at particular price range so if you simply hold until the price dip or bump means you are wasting the time from a traders point of view.

Also Bitcoin is gaining more popularity due to the war situations which already made people to dump their money into something decentralized.
Day trading and swing trading are different but I understand what you are trying to say but we should make new traders to be clear of what we are saying for them not to make mistake.

Ukraine bought bitcoin, the price increased. Ukriane wants exchanges to freeze Russian accounts, bitcoin price decrease a little as some Russians sold their coins.
3936  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: March 06, 2022, 08:36:27 AM
Man City and Manchester United are both equally strong teams, but this season Man City has played more consistently than MU so it is possible that Man City will come out victorious in this match and Man City players will certainly try their best to win this match. in order to keep the points away from the Liverpool team who are currently only three points adrift after Liverpool beat West Ham.
Machester United might be richer than Manchester City but they are not equal teams this season, Manchester City is superior in term of players and matches played. Manchester City will have most energy to play today and it is also Manchester City's home, I am not expecting anything more than Manchester United to be defeated today.

Liverpool now hopes that Manchester United can become their hero indirectly, with the hope that Manchester United can stop the move from Manchester City. Yes, although it's a bit difficult, because Manchester City is the team that has the most consistent performance.
Very difficult and the reason Manchester City will win today again. I also go for Arsenal.
3937  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: An advice for newbies and plebs on: March 05, 2022, 11:46:58 AM
You are very right, but this period can be an advantage for swing traders. For illustration, using 1x leverage to open a position, waiting for dip and when bitcoin price increase.

For example, waiting for $30000 dip and buy for swing trading, but some swing traders can try $35000.

At $35000
Using 1x leverage
No borrowing
Long position liquidation at a price bitcoin price will far not decrease below
Short position liquidation at $70000

Swing traders still always have tendency to make profit because bitcoin will increase and decrease to predicted price but which can take days to weeks.

Short position will be better at $45000. But this can change depending on the market.

Your advice is very good also, buying when bitcoin want to halve will make bitcoin and many coins in the market to increase in price.
3938  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: looking for: exchanges fastest withdrawing on: March 05, 2022, 08:34:05 AM
Based on my experience, FTX and Kucoin have been the fastest, with the slowest being Binance. The speed difference isn't that substantial though, and the withdrawal speed of these exchanges(the time it takes before the withdrawal becomes confirmed off-chain) can vary from time to time based on my experience.
I remember the last time I use binance which was 5 days ago, it was fast, but not for bitcoin but for USDT TRC20. What can cause delay is when an exchange will process the transaction, binance was very fast about it. I did not check the time, but OKX sent me notification for a confirmation transaction in less than 2 or 3 minutes (or less than 5 minutes) which was from binance. What I have noticed is that the exchanges I have used almost have the same processing time, they are all fast with just little differences.
3939  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Scalpers and day traders - Never lie, be realistic. on: March 05, 2022, 07:44:33 AM
I never had experienced day trading but I think its very risky. There is no good and bad trading strategy you need to study the market and do some test before you trade. I do mostly holding coins for a week before I trade because I can save more trading fee compared on day trading.
There were few times I wanted to scalp but later resulted to day trading because I have lost already in scalping, I also noticed the greater the losses are most likely to be. I have lost this ways as usual, but I have recently noticed when I turned it into swing trading, I will still later gain. Like what happened recently, bitcoin increased from $34300 to over $41000, I opened short position at $41000 for the market to fall so that I will make profit. But bitcoin increased to $45000 and I lose the more, I left the it alone unlike before that I will close the trade and lose, it took 5 days which was yesterday and the market falled below $40000 and I gained. I gained from swing trading while losing in scalping and day trading.

That's the problem there are many projects out there but most of them are bluff they promise that they will grow but after a few months their gone and no promises are fulfilled.
So investing in new projects is more risky than trading.

However, if you are lucky that you invested in a real project then yeah you will gain a great profit holding their token/coins.
I prefer to invest in existing coin or token which I know is legit and having good marketcap already, some of this coins can still be able to go 5x or 10x in the coming years. New projects can be very risky and I am not the type of person that invest in such new projects, but there are some that increased very well but just few of them while many resulted to losses.
3940  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The Emirates FA Cup - Season 2021/2022 on: March 05, 2022, 07:30:46 AM
It's the first time both teams are meeting and predicting based on their respective league might even be more difficult. However having both teams to score in the first half can be another bet option because this first encounter both teams will love to represent. I might no know why the papers choose Everton as the favorite but I am sure goals will come from both teams
I have never heard about Boreham Wood before, I checked Championship and I did not see the club, I heard it is non-league, it was surprising to see the club gotten to that level, but as worse as Everton can be or the remaining clubs that are playing, Boreham Wood will be a club of their joice all because they know it is the simplest to win. Everton played well but I do not consider it as stress or big deal for Everton. It is not difficult to predict who will win, Everton is far more better than Boreham Wood, I expect the goal to be more than that, but Boreham Wood really tried, it is not easy to get to round of 8.
