Tomorrow there is a match between Tottenham vs Everton, after the previous match in the Premier League Tottenham could win a landslide against Leeds. I didn't have much expectation from Manchester United in this derby game. And they didn't surprise me.    Maybe things would have been much different if they maintained their eager-to-win look during the whole game but they were very inconsistent about that. And it brought their end by a 4-1 score. And this result helped Arsenal keep their place in the standings. They are the new owner of the fourth place now. And they can pull away from Manchester United as they have three games missing too. But it depends on their consistency.

It's painful for Sir. Alex to watch the derby where Manchester United players did not show their best ability and efforts. They gave up too soon and easily beaten by Manchester City. Manchester United will have to sacrifice a few seasons and begin (again) with a new strategic plan to rebuild their team, with young and gifted players. Maybe Manchester United heyday is really sinking. Yes, I agree that both Mourinho and Van Gaal are top coaches, but with a very complex character. Apparently both of them could not find a common language with the players, especially Van Gaal.
Zidane was an excellent option, a good coach who did not seem to enter into conflicts with the players regularly. He won the Champions League and the La Liga. They could try to hire Simeone, for example.
As an interim coach, Carrick would be good choice, he knows the club from the inside. Well, or give it to Solskjaer to finalize, maybe they could take the 3rd place.
But Rangnick is a real mystery.

He should not refuse to play, I remember Arjen Robben in Bayern Munich, he was not getting younger and it came to a time he did not use to start any match Bayern wants to play, but he can come in as Bayern is not playing well or at the second half of the match to score more. Can you remember the Champions League final between Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid? The main man of the match was a substitute, but he was a key player too at that time though. A manager would have to strategize and do what is possible for the betterment of a club.  It is not about being one of the best player but about a club playing good.

After yesterday game, I believe the United players do not want to play for Ralf Rangnick. I saw their body language in the game the way they handled the ball it was as if they were trying to send a message to management. No shots on target in the entire second half. In my opinion, Arsenal has more chance of getting a Champions League ticket next season than Man United because Arsenal is in good shape, and their form looks consistent. So even though Man United can improve their performance, but on the other hand Arsenal can maintain their current form then it will be difficult for Man United to snatch the 4th position. Besides that, Arsenal also has a chance to take 3rd place from Chelsea. They are currently 5 points behind Chelsea but they have 1 game less than Chelsea.
