3921  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: NMX Nominex token on: October 31, 2021, 06:11:23 PM
Have only traded NMX on the exchange and did not observe any fake trading, there are possibilities with other coin. The interphase may be dull. The order book are right and trade engage immediately with the sell button but if you have a different definition of fake trading lets know.

Take a look at the buys and sells of NMX again and compare the action to buy and sell walls, it's happening slowly with rather big sales/buys but it's obvious. I don't understand why they bother to do that but i guess they have their reasons. It doesn't affect to the price anyway.
3922  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will cat coins 1000x next? on: October 31, 2021, 05:49:03 PM
This has happened before. First dogs, then cats, only thing is that you can't predict which cats. And look at $catz for example.

There are trends, like at some point every cannabis related token and coin will pump like there was no tomorrow, and obviously dump after that.
3923  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Good news through Mastercard. on: October 28, 2021, 12:52:55 PM
This news will surely shock the world very much if it does happen.
Bitcoin, I think, will burst upward in its price tag, it will be an unattainable asset for a low class, because its value will not be attractive to small investors. In general, this news from the master card is a step into the future of transactions.

It's cool and good for the whole crypto adoption (unless you are those old cryptopunk anarchists that would like to keep cryptos seperate from current financial system), but it doesn't shock anyone. There already are companies that issue visa and mastercard crypto debit cards, only difference is that now they are partnering with Bakkt. And only reason i haven't taken the mastercard yet is because my free visa crypto debt card works just fine in everywhere.
3924  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The president of El Salvador just bout 420 BTC! on: October 28, 2021, 11:13:16 AM
You can't really say this is a dictator, can you?

They bought 420 BTC, but I can't understand how they're so sure it'll go upwards. It's a whole country in the central America; their behavior seems like a teenager's who just learnt about the magic of Bitcoin in 2011 and bought bunch. I can't say Bitcoin is the least fluctuating asset at the moment and hence, the greatest investment strategy for a country.

Of course he can't trust that it goes upwards. It's the matter of probability, but are you are thinking that Nayib would act like a sensible human being in this area? He is being seriously irresponsible that sadly is in in parallel to his personality.

Also, why would a dictator want to promote Bitcoin, a currency which is against their polity?

Because they fail to create a stable fiat currency of their own and this is a big middle finger to places like usa. And it tells a lot what they think about using usd as an alternative currency of their own.

3925  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Help me understand BTC pricing on: October 28, 2021, 10:58:20 AM
Am I correct in thinking that as the price of bitcoin goes up, it will take a lot more money to raise the price? Here’s an example…when bitcoin was $10,000 if 10 people bought $10,000 each, that meant 10 coins that we’re taken out of circulation driving the value of bitcoin up much more than if the price of bitcoin was $100,000 and 10 people bought $10,000 each of bitcoin that’s taking only one bitcoin out of circulation. So as the price of bitcoin goes up it will take a lot more cash inflow to raise the price. So is it safe to say that we will not see rapid gains like we had a few years ago where a bitcoin would go from 1000 to 10,000? I don’t see how so much money can come into the market to make it rise from 100,000 to 1,000,000 in an equivalent time span

You are talking about marketcap. Bitcoin has rised to where it is really fast because the marketcap has been undervalued. Valuation has nothing to with price of a single coin, everything is about the marketcap and bitcoin marketcap started from veery low to where it is now.

But still it's hard to speak about future gains of it, as when bitcoin started there was only few altcoins alongside with it, but now the whole crypto marketcap has sparked at the same time and saturated itself with random shitcoins.
3926  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What’s the fastest way to grow wealth in our present world of digital currency? on: October 28, 2021, 10:48:53 AM
Altcoins and NFTs, without a shred of doubt.

We have entered the age of digital transformation and the digital economy.
Boomers were able to get rich by simply buying a house in the 80s and sprinkling their savings across low risk stocks, which netted them a 45x.

Now, crypto was the chance for us get rich with a 100x in Bitcoin since 2015 at $500, another 100x for those who invested last year and probably another 50x for those who invested this month.
Everything is digital now.

Don’t get left behind.

Don't think of investing in a past tense. People who say that they woud be rich if they only invested in cryptos in 2015 are lying to themselves. Why i know this? Because not a one of them did invest into it!. It took balls to invest in 2015 when EVERYONE of your friends told not to do it and the market sentiment looked like crap.

These people will fail miserably because they they will always be late, investing on the hype phase, they will not invest EVER in the bottom. To be rich they have to learn entirely different ballgame, you need to find something (of real value) that looks like it has hit a bottom in terms of TA and no one in your feed has yet found and after that you control the game. You will be the whale.
3927  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Shiba INU tokens continue to rise? on: October 28, 2021, 10:21:11 AM
In the long run, SHIB is going to go to zero.

There is no doubt about that. There is virtually no utility for the token, no infrastructure etc. Community engagement admittedly is fantastic but that in itself shouldn't give any coin a valuation within the realms of Top 10 cryptos.

But you shouldn't short it either, especially not with leverage. Markets will stay irrational longer than you can stay solvent.

I'd just sit it out honestly. You've missed the easy money in this pump, just let it go.

I seriously doubt that it dies, even in next bear run it will get just more bagholders shilling it even more aggressively. In the altcoin bullrun a product doesn't need an use case, it needs hype, community and the attention of idiots. Even if we think that projects need to solve something to be valued, majority if people are idiots and they will invest too. Shit projects will always ride alongside of good projects.

I mean hell, most of these people still think that one single coin/token price matters. They don't know what marketcap is for, nor do they care. Saddest truth is that we need to understand these people to understand market movements.
3928  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Safely invest in crypto, what do you think? on: October 20, 2021, 10:24:42 AM
Can you hint anything about those upcoming premium features? Because right now it seems i won't be gaining any benefits from this as an utility token. Well except staking but the token itself is kind of far apart from the product you have and without any use case it's just meaningless.
3929  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What are you prediction to the Cardano top price in this Bull run ? on: October 19, 2021, 08:26:16 PM
I want to buy Ada to pair BTC what do u think about that, its aint late to invest ?
Good Bless yall Smiley

Ada/btc pair is most likely making a death cross if you take a look technical analysis so i would definitely stay in btc right now. Also cardano's fundamentals are a bit shaky compared to eth 2.0 imho. I wish them good luck but i would find it weird if they managed to stole developers / builders from eth side.

3930  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Price vs Iphone Price at launch on: October 19, 2021, 02:10:27 PM
Damn, i phone 5 turned to be very expensive, sadly they don't raise in value when they get older. I sometimes count how much my spendings were in 2015 when i was using bitcoin to take my kids to swimming and buying stuff. I really don't care that i spended that because i didn't have a clue bitcoin would moon so hard anyway. And i was living from hand to mouth anyway so it would be harder for me to save it.
3931  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Privacy vs. anonymity on: October 19, 2021, 01:57:22 PM
They want it so bots can't front run their buys/sells, and they want it because it sells, way more then transparent transactions on the chain
That's an interesting point of view. Indeed, centralized exchanges have this downside in which they know when you want to sell or buy. They can approach what the majority wants and take advantage of it. They don't just hold your coins; they hold your interests.

I don't trade, but if I ever want to buy a cryptocurrency, I'll use a decentralized exchange instead. I highly doubt the majority will do either, but at least I'll feel alright with myself.

It doesn't only apply to centralized exchanges, i mean that your transaction history will be literally public forever on the blockchain when you use dex. Then it's only matter of doxxing the account, and in any point you need to change it to cash, it will be a weak point what comes to your ID, even if you would do it face to face, some people will see your face.

Really depends on various things but i feel it could peak on $10 and come crashing down. Just because round numbers are a good psychological barrier and people don't have a clue how valuation even works or what marketcap means so weak hands and newbies will buy ath, and panic sell after losing a lot, triggering some bots selling too.
3933  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How can I grow my Crypto Bag without trading on: October 18, 2021, 08:12:07 PM
I wouldn't say airdrops, faucets or other ways to earn tiny amounts of Bitcoin cause that is no way to increase your stash as you earn little or nothing from them, and many a times they end up being a scam. If you want to increase the Bitcoins you have, then tbh, the best way is to earn money in RL and use it to buy more Bitcoin, you can adopt a strategy that works for you and maybe buy at intervals as you gradually increase your Bitcoins.

Having said that, another way is you have a skill and can render a service that pays in Bitcoin, that way you get to earn in Bitcoin and can hodl the coins you earn.

Best airdrops you can get is by using/supporting some new tech when it's just starting. As revolutionary tech seems to reward the people who were using it. (Uniswap, Paint, Immutable, etc). Of course it can be waste of time but like in cases of uniswap... Well we all know that went well.
3934  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin > Gold on: October 18, 2021, 08:08:46 PM

Government can literally take your private keys as easily as your hidden physical gold if they want, i mean good luck hidding that private key and if it's only in some physical device, it doesn't matter if officials can decrypt it or not if they confiscate it. Also btc wallet isn't an anonymous wallet, it's pseudonymous. You might feel that's nitpicking, but it makes all the difference since EVERYTHING can be tracked. That comes problematic when you try to cash out a bigger sum and your id will go to that mix.
3935  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Interest on Bitcoin on: October 18, 2021, 08:01:10 PM
Wondering how many of you earn interest on your Bitcoin?

Do you feel this is risky, whoever owns the private key owns the BTC ?

Also any resources for a high interest rate I think around 6% is the highest, these are some I have seen Liquity, Blockbank, Voyager, Nexo

thanks!

As risky as just keeping it in an exchange. Personally i trust only few of them and those are not even on the list. The ones i trust don't offer any interest for my holdings. But they are well regulated and trusted among the community. For some reason i am getting scammy vibes from anything that offers interest to btc.
3936  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: if country has fully adopted crypto and they are releasing their own stablecoin on: October 18, 2021, 07:07:50 PM

You need to understand the basics first, if a government legalized the decentralized cryptos then they will not implement another thing called their own cryptocurrency aka CBDC. Basically the central banks tokens are here to fight with the decentralized cryptos and just wanted to ensure there will be no freedom to use our own money.

I honestly don't see that even as a fight. As long as price stability is pegged it's just too centralized, and anything too decentralized doesn't have a fighting change against Fiat money as they are not designed for same use cases. Inlfation in fiat money is acting like a buffer to the whole country stable. While cryptocurrencies are not designed to befenefit a one country. Also the scarcity could influence our economic behaviour how we currently are spending money.
3937  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Crypto Stocks on: October 18, 2021, 06:58:48 PM
I'm in a few interesting projects right now. But it dawned on me and so I started searching...is anyone also trading cryptocurrency stocks? There are plenty of penny stocks (https://pennystocks.com/featured/2021/10/11/best-penny-stocks-under-1-to-watch-bitcoin-cracks-58000/) that are dubbed as such. There are even a few handfuls of major index-listed companies that, for the most part, appear to be solely focused on mining. Just wondering if anyone else is diversifying their strategy to include crypto and crypto stocks.

I honestly rather buy low cap coins/tokens with good fundamentals. I seem them having better risk/reward ratio. And we have seen what has happened to every ico/ieo/ido etc that has anything to do with mining. Either they scam people or don't know what they are doing. And list of stuff that can go wrong with mining is just too long for me.
3938  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Privacy vs. anonymity on: October 17, 2021, 10:42:55 PM
Anonymity is a pipe dream imho, i mean best we have not is pseudonymity anyway. Privacy on the other hand is something that big players want. They want it so bots can't front run their buys/sells, and they want it because it sells, way more then transparent transactions on the chain
3939  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The rise of Axie Infinity on: October 17, 2021, 07:58:46 PM
When you talk about "price prediction", the most common advise that someone will give you is that it's quite impossible to predict which coin is about to make massive gains, and it's true, even with a lot of research people struggle to find those "gems".

But now that we have seen such a massive move from Axie, we could at least try to find out some triggering factors that could have caused this massive rise, because we have more info right now.

What do you believe to be the key factors that could have made this price movement possible?

Timing. Axie was one of the first in in nft gaming. And one of the few i didn't invest into. One of my biggest mistakes. But i still think there's nothing interesting in it, but i forgot that people invest also to things that are not interesting or revolutionary. They just liked those stupid blobs.
3940  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Regulations for crypto currencies on: October 17, 2021, 03:13:51 PM
Regulatory issues for cryptocurrency have actually been around for a long time.  In fact, it was several years ago.  But it seems, in the past year or so, it has become a serious topic of discussion in several countries.  And it seems, some countries will soon implement it.  What I personally think is, if true, many countries start implementing regulations for crypto currency, will this change the nature of crypto, namely decentralization to not being fully decentralized?  What do your friends think here?  Please share, hopefully this can add insight for all of us 😊🙏

It almost seems like people don't know what decentralization in cryptocurrencies mean... We still have permissionless transactions with many coins, that hasn't gone away. Real world  has just catched up. Decentralization is ONLY for permissionless transactions, you can't just apply it irl and say that real world rules won't apply because you are hodling crypto, because dealing with stablecoins or fiat money have nothing to do with true decentralization... When you are giving your bitcoins to third party, like any exchange or you want to cash out, or buy anything via btc visa debit you are far from any decentralization.
