3921  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Floyd Mayweather vs Curtis Jackson (50 Cent) on: February 05, 2021, 07:55:59 AM
Very clever of Floyd Mayweather to call Curtis Jackson for an exhibition match.

This is obvious win-win situation for him, and it's a winner take all, and now that this is out in the public, the ball is now on 50 Cent. If he backs out then Floyd will go and call him a chicken for not wanting to fight him. If he accepts and we all know that he will lose, then he will have no money in return plus his ego is going to hurt big time.
3922  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Trust your gut on: February 05, 2021, 07:34:05 AM
Congratulations on that buy and congratulations on that profit you are sitting on right now. There might be a lot of new investors nowadays but only a few invested in that dip, most of them even panicked when they saw the price like that. Investors should really learn a thing from you because this is how we should be.

Newbie investors will really have to learn their lessons here in a very expensive way, specially then they panic and push the sell button and then the price goes on the next day or two. I think most of has experienced this sort of thingy, but it makes us stronger and knows what to do next.

As for others telling us what to do, nah, not good, so it's better to make our decision. Besides, is our money anyways so regardless of what they are going to say, don't allow yourself to be influence by others, just saying.
3923  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Canelo Alvarez vs. Avni Yildirim - February 27 on: February 04, 2021, 09:25:52 AM
But if you are aiming for the huge price and deal with risks then go bet on Avni so that your betting will be much worth it, we don't know what if Avni wins. Avni's long rest or break in boxing world will really become a huge factor in this match up, while Canelo is being consistent with his career and he is really focus in defeating his future opponents.
Canelo Alvarez fights at a different level altogether and i wont risk a penny to bet in the match against Canelo Alvarez, i am yet to watch the fights of Avni Yildirim to see how he fights and how he will counter the heavy punches to understand how long he can last so that i can predict how many rounds he can face Canelo Alvarez Cheesy.

My prediction is Canelo Alvarez and i need to do some research before placing the final bet.

Canelo Alvarez here by a knock-out, similar to Amir Khan. Probably 6-7 max rounds before Canelo hit that home run and Avni Yildirim. It will be competitive though, Alvarez will go for the body early and then unexpectedly hit that knock out punch.

It was a mismatch by all means, so Amir Khan is asking for a knock out when he fought Canelo back then, plus he has a china chin, that when someone touches, it's easily broken.

In case of Yildirim, probably Canelo will go for a knock out if he think Yildirim is shielding himself. And we don't know how Yildirim chin as well, if he is tough as nail then the fight can go to distance. But if Canelo is in a target practice the night might end early with a knockout by Alvarez.
3924  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cryptos are coming to physical Slot Machines - IGT received the patent! on: February 04, 2021, 08:38:15 AM
Gambling industry though is the first to really adopt crypto so it make sense that after a couple of years, physical casino's are going to want to compete with online crypto casinos. So now that one of the biggest game provider IGT has received a patent then it will just be a matter of time.

I haven't went to physical casino's though in this pandemic and just chooses to play from time to time. And I think this is better if somewhat the covid-9 pandemic has been controlled. Anyhow, I will still consider this a welcoming news for crypto gamblers, whether online or offline.
3925  Economy / Speculation / Re: Don't be surprise to see price of btc drop this week on: February 04, 2021, 08:13:04 AM
What surprises me the most is how many people still wish for the price to drop and mask it as speculation! Some even take one step further and place a lot of shorts and end up losing a ton of money for their mistake. At least those who are just hoping for the drop to buy in aren't losing money just opportunity.

As we have said before, people who shorts in a bull run will get REKT.

It has been proven already so we really don't know why they continue to go against the sentiments of most traders. And now the market has a good bounce after the Elon Musk tweet, it looks like this is going to be the natural path of bitcoin this February.

Currently sitting at $37.9k...

$38,0k'ish now. Edit: $38,4xx.
3926  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ethereum performance, what do you think? on: February 04, 2021, 07:45:27 AM
Ethereums performance today is quite impressive!  + 26%!  surpassing AMD, Blackrock, Square and American Express when compared by Market Cap.

 Full list: https://8marketcap.com/

It's look overdue, I think ETH by now should be in the $2k region as bitcoin has broken $40k barrier already. The current spike though was due to MicroStrategy's latest investing on ETH as well, so it was well taken news that's why the price just surpasses another all time high.

So there's no surprises here, at least in my case, this should happen last year. But we are all good, so $2k will be the next obvious target for ETH and it's just a matter of time before it can breach it. And with regards to the Market Cap, not a fan of it though, good to compare with other companies but crypto is very different though, it is very much volatile.
3927  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Broner vs Santiago Feb 20 on: February 04, 2021, 07:03:26 AM
I have never heard of this opponent and it is honestly not an interesting fight when compared to Berchelt vs. Valdez on the same night. Broner is not the fighter he once was and his value as an entertainer is diminished by his recent poor performances. I don't see a 31 year old fighter with limited experience and short notice beating him but I will definitely be rooting for the upset.

Actually all the names that have bee thrown on Broner was a no name fighter, sure they could pull an upset, but I highly doubt it. All cherry pick fight for him and onwards, as others have speculated, they just want Broner an easy fight and earn some money, get busy fights. People are going to watch though, just to see Broner loss to an unknown fighter, hehehe.

You guess it right, what I want to see here is on how Santiago will beat Broner's ass.

Broner seems already out of his prime, but this fight of him should be a win for him if he still like to get big fights, if he can't beat a non caliber boxer, then he has no right to fight popular boxers, no one would promote him to that, unless like what you said, fans will come to see how Broner will loss.

Broner though said that in one interview that he is not yet out of his prime, he said that he is just 31 years old still young to still compete with the best. But in his recent fights, he has more losses, so maybe when he steps up on opposition, he usually doesn't perform very well.

So me may be still in his prime, but I would say that he is just a B-level fighter right now. And they try to have him a 'gimme fight', to bring his confidence again in the ring.

His mouth is a level A boxer but his boxing skills is already in the level B, and will soon be in level C if he lose this fight.

He has not won a fight for 3 years already, it's kinda hard to prove again as for sure he loss some confidence after having 3 consecutive loses.
I don't want to judge but this is all what I think based on his fight history.

Meanwhile Santiago is not a champion but he is an undefeated boxer, both can use this chance as a great opportunity to create some buzz.

Hahaha, nicely put mate, yes, his mouth was his downfall, specially in the Maidana fight. We understand that they need to hype the fight and to promote it, but most of the times, Broner went over board with his trash talking and when he lost he became an internet meme sensation and I think it has affected him negatively after that.

So a B fighter fighting a C fighter, it's gonna be close but I think Broner has still the advantage here and could be favourite.

3929  Economy / Speculation / Re: Price correction btc 6-12 months on: February 03, 2021, 09:03:23 AM
There could be a significant correction for sure, knowing that the span of increase with the price of BTC is significantly too fast. I always have read in some trading books that the quicker you rise, the quicker you fall. Maybe in a few months, it would recall back. What I'm thinking of is, should I cash-out some of my BTC before it happens? I might regret it again because I cashed out around $22k back then but still. It makes someone wonder what to do within this timeframe.

Correction had happen already, from $41k-$28k, and that is huge already so I don't think that we can fall even deep. Right now the price seems to be on a good bounce back again, $36k, so it has broken the resistance around $35k which is a big wall.

No need to cash out though, as we might go to $40k again if not then we are going to hover around $36k-$38k. So let the market flow on it's normal course and just be a HODLer.
3930  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum now on the 55th spot of top asset by Market Cap on: February 03, 2021, 08:28:07 AM
nice to see crypto reaching more and more mainstream adaption 🚀

Exactly, and with Ethereum breaking into the 55th spot, we might see more crypto's getting into this exclusive list lead by Bitcoin. And mainstream adoption as more and more people are either trading it an assets or companies using crypto as somewhat a hedge to their reserved treasury.

I think Bitcoin though will break into the top 10 if it reaches at least $50k, and so is Ethereum going into the 50th spot if the price rose to $2k-$3k.
3931  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: February 03, 2021, 07:59:37 AM
Is he going to play tomorrow against the Clippers? This is hell of a match and we'll see a match between two good teams.

Hard to decide where I'll be if Nets is complete tomorrow.
It's confirmed that Harden should be ready for game tonight, but even with him back my money will be on the Clippers. I do expect tough game though, best offensive vs one of the best defensive teams.
I agree with you here, Nets has been struggling with their defense and I think that's what the Clippers are going to abuse tonight.
More inside points and they can easily win this game.

Good luck mate, let's hope for our win.

On the contrary, it was a close game, Nets was able to pull through, 124-120.

it was Kyrie with a big game, 39 points to lead the big 3. Really hard to guard the 3 All-Star, specially that Pat Bev is not on the floor. He could have make Kyrie or Harden work very hard bringing the ball down.

Paul George though wasn't able to get the call as he is limited to 1 free throw in the game.
3932  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: May-Pac 2, will it finally happen? on: February 03, 2021, 07:33:24 AM
Even if it happens I doubt that it will be all-out boxing since we know what Mayweather did on their first fight. It can happen only because of public demand. Their win would be useless if they won't give a satisfying fight to their audiences. Pacquiao is an aggressive fighter so people are expecting that his opponent would also give a good fight too. We can say that's the strategy of Mayweather since then but those who watch the fight won't enjoy it.

Meaning this no longer for the legacy of both fighters, but simply to please the fans and obviously, for them to make a lot of money again. In the first first everyone has very hype, two of the best boxers in our generations and Pacman is the closest that can take Mayweather's 0.

Unfortunately, the fight didn't live to it's hype, Mayweather didn't engage while Pacman was a tad slower already.
3933  Economy / Speculation / Re: Price correction btc 6-12 months on: February 01, 2021, 11:15:49 AM
I really don't understand why we have several threads comparing the 2017/2018 bullish/bearish market to today's 2020/2021. Are there really similarities or some coincidence? And then we have other side of the spectrum, telling us that this is just the start of the bull run so normally so might see some dips along the way before we can go to $50k or even more at the end of the year.

I guess everyone can make their wild, free and educated guess here.

We also failed to see that bitcoin's narrative has change a bit since the bull run in 2017 and the eventual bearish trend after that. So I don't think we can compare the two.
3934  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: February 01, 2021, 10:02:54 AM
Yes, yes, yes!
Denver Nuggets broke the winning streak of Utah Jazz.
I never doubted them. The good part? Jazz had Mitchell back on their roster and still made a win.
47 points for Jokic to tie his career-high.
We witnessed the difference between Gobert and Jokic here. One specialized in defense and the other with offense and playmaking.
Jazz tried to get near the Nuggets lead but it was not enough.

It was bound to happen eventually. The Nuggets are a good team so there’s no shame in losing one to them. They still played great so I think they’ll be back to winning again in no time. Jokic really is a special talent. If he can continue working his body into playing shape he will only get better.

Yes, sooner or later that streak will have to come to an end, specially how some teams have superstars that in any given day that really explode like what Jokic have in the game. Indeed, it was a monster game from the Joker, with 12 rebounds and 4 assists. Nothing can be taken against Gobert though, he play good defense, but Jokic doing a floater on him? Really hard to stop that.
3935  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Why Does Every Exchange Need To Have Its Own Token? on: January 31, 2021, 12:47:09 PM
Mostly though, exchanges issue their own token for traders. Meaning that you can take advantage for example, BNB for trading fee in their platform plus other incentives like staking or even rebate.

So it's a win win situation for us traders and the platform itself. It's just a matter on how we are going to take advantage of the self issued token by many top exchanges out there.
3936  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Stake.com announces Israel Adesanya as their Global branded ambassador on: January 31, 2021, 09:53:17 AM
I'm just watching Israel Adesanya and I would say that Stake.com has chosen the right fighter to represent them globally. Israel is one of a kind fighter cross breed between Jones and Anderson Silva but he takes striking to the next level.

So kudos for both Stake and Adesanya, it's a win-win situation as it could attract fans and MMA bettors to see what Stake can offer to them.
3937  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Canelo Alvarez vs. Avni Yildirim - February 27 on: January 31, 2021, 09:10:17 AM
Canelo is good and fresh from the fight while Avni was absence from the ring for a year or so, so I think this will become hard for Avni to get on track easily but if you are just looking at their records, I can say that they have the same result and an interesting fighting strategy, nevertheless I’ll go for Canelo on this match just to have a safe bet.

Canelo will win this without a sweat. Don't know why Team Canelo entertained this so called "mandatory fights" when they can go for a bigger fight. Maybe this is just a way for them to have Canelo a tune-up fight.

Cinco de Mayo, Canelo always fights on this date and so far a name already floats as who he will be fighting next. Saunders could could pose more threat than this one.

Yes, its really hard to understand why team Canelo chooses Avni Yildirim instead of chasing a big fight. And the question is how big the money is in the table for them to accept this fight. So it become pretty obvious that this is just a tune up fight for him.

Saunders is a bigger threat than Callum Smith and Avni Yildirim that will be a good match specially if it happen this Cinco de Mayo.

I would agree that it's a bigger fight, but I like to see the biggest fight which is the GGG trilogy which I don't know if it will still happen.
After this fight, Canelo will again fight this year, and hopefully it's a bigger right and I know Canelo would still win and dominate like what he has been doing.

maybe the reason why they havent opted for bigger fight right now is because people are limited to go inside the arena. or are they accepting now live audience? it seems not. so not really worth choosing big fights for now. it is better to have live audience on bigger fights. they will earn more if they have. maybe after a year, we will see good boxing matches again.

Yes, this could be one reason why Canelo is not looking for big fight this year because he wanted to have fans in the ring side to see him live. There is also this option that him fighting in his native Mexico. And we all know that Mexicans love him so if fans are not allowed then it's not worth for now.

So easy fight for him, then maybe Saunders to see if there is improvement as far as the health and safety protocols and maybe allow fans then in the latter part of the year.
3938  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Caleb Plant vs Caleb Truax IBF Super Middleweight Title on: January 31, 2021, 08:34:13 AM
Ok so that is the reason why he didn't go for a knock out because he has a brittle hands. Here are some of the highlights:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=59GTj0630aY
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hr2jCc10AxI

Plant looks very fast and strong, but we all know that is fight is a mismatch and that's why he really looks good, Truax is a journey man and old. And I don't think that is enough to beat Canelo if they fight this year.
3939  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Altcoin's loss become Bitcoin's gain? on: January 31, 2021, 08:04:19 AM
Really hard to say at this point though, there are a lot of players who have their intention specially in the altcoin market, pump and dump groups, manipulators, and now WSB. Look at Doge latest pump, and then it went down hard as well, we really don't know if those who profited move to bitcoin or not.

So no one can tell if there is a direct correlation now, the whole crypto market's narrative has change a bit as well. So I would say that there is no relation whatsoever.
