3921  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Copy Trading... on: December 03, 2020, 06:48:49 AM
I think copy trading is one of the coolest things that will be found on a trading platform/exchange, because it’s not easy for some of us who already had works that we are doing and are interested in trading cryptocurrencies, but since we are very busy we can’t do it.
If I divide day trading and long term hold as two ends of the spectrum, for the second group being busy with work will not affect much since they are doing it for the long term and they will mostly be buying only at the lows. For the first group or daytraders, it would be more like a day job for them otherwise it is impossible to run the thing.

However, copy trading does not mean you are doing either, maybe some what close to daytrading but a non-logical one. Read on.

Quote
Although I know some people who prefers to hire managers to trade for them, for me I think it’s best that you create an account on one of those exchanges that will allow you to copy trade and that way you will know that you’re still in charge of your money and everything, all you have to do is just choose one good trader to be copying after you have gone through their history.
Hiring a manager for trades is a different thing. Also you wont get a trader who always makes profits. Just manage your money on your own - all the "financial advisors" are nothing but shills for altcoins which are going to worthless and useless anyway.

Most copy trading platforms are no different than bots running algorithms for trading. You will be ripped off your money if you go down that route.
3922  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the biggest threat to Bitcoin? on: December 03, 2020, 06:44:24 AM
More investors are even interested in bitcoin despite of the current pandemic.
No. This is a wrong concept being common in this forum because this is a bitcoin forum. People in the pandemic needed liquid money and thus liquidated a number of assets, Not venture into more sectors. Use your logic and think of the situation and you will also understand.

Now why this concept is common here, because people here are always going to bullish on bitcoin. Fact is being bullish is not wrong but being blind without logic is fatal - let that not happen to you too.

A lot of people lost their jobs in the crisis, you cant expect them to go around buying some shitcoins or even bitcoin with the last few reserves they have, at least in a country where bitcoin is not even recognized well. Roll Eyes
3923  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: bounty hunter on: December 03, 2020, 06:40:28 AM
That's not it! blaming the hunter was incorrect when the project failed. But i think the problem will be with the BM and project team, because BM is the person who will be responsible for the process of bringing the project to the hunter, if the project is scam then part of the responsibility.
The manager is also not responsible. The team is the only group who could be held responsible but even they are not accountable since this is not a legally traded security. These projects are thus having all the possibility of going exit scam or just fail because you cannot sue them on any legal grounds.

This problem of non-legal securities with ICOs DeFi tokens has been well debated over and over and the consensus is that people who are taking part in them either by investing their money (investors) or investing their time/work (bounty hunters) are only responsible for their own losses.

There is nothing criminal to this on the hunters. They are taking a risk and they have their own self to blame if they waste it.
3924  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM Alert] Investmenow.com Ponzi scheme offering 500% hourly for 59 hours! on: December 02, 2020, 10:44:00 AM
Why are they offering this much to clients instead of about earn themselves? HAHA Old tricks using again and again.
Old tricks but it works on every newbie you encounter on the internet. Broke people everywhere willing to put in money and get rich quick without questioning themselves about the legitimacy of such schemes is the reason why these scams get propagated time and again.

At least the users of this forum are diligent enough to not give any importance to such nonsense and warn others not to entertain them. So good catch by the OP, but as we can see, the domain is new and more such domains open up every day and sold off to the scammers bidding for them who will use them for deceiving others.
3925  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [WARNING] DiceNode (DNO) - Fake Team on: December 02, 2020, 10:40:26 AM
@Rikafip

There might be a link between the two but my guess would be someone trying to use the name to spread an SEO coverage for these links. Probably something similar like what happened with Yearn and scams that happened after it but following its name.

Seriously though these stock images make it look like alpha-male fashion dudes to be team members which makes them a laughing stock, talk about crypto startups. Who in the world keeps their name "Silver Fang" Cheesy

But still some people will fall for that, hopefully not if they find this thread.

Flag supported.
3926  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the biggest threat to Bitcoin? on: December 02, 2020, 10:36:58 AM
Perhaps, the biggest threat to Bitcoin is governments around the world. Because when Bitcoin prices so high and it attracts more and more investors to join and transact through government banks can using laws to limit or prohibit Bitcoin. I don't like this situation.
We think like that because that is what is the problem to us as bitcoin users. But think deeply is that everything that is holding back bitcoin from mainstream coverage in a more positive approach? I think there are bigger institutions that have seen potential in bitcoin and thus demeaning it in order to stock up their own stashes of bitcoin, so that in future when price rises they make a profit.

Many banking institutions have also incorporated blockchain technology into their software and services. With this, I believe the future is bright for bitcoin. If things become better governments might also become lenient about crypto.
3927  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty managers can do better on: December 01, 2020, 05:56:11 AM
if all bounty managers are going to unite and make it a requirement that will be good for both bounty hunters and bounty managers.
I mean like who does not want that? But making up such a "guild" is very difficult to maintain a clean cult and there will be others willing to work solo.

As you know being a part of a group means someone is going to be like a leading manager there and others will complain that they are taking up all the work. It is possible, though only hypothetical for now.

Previously Lauda, yahoo,Lutpin tried to grow such a system but those days are long over now. Still the well known managers are following suit.

Quote
we have so many projects using fake accounts coming from photo sharing sites, some of them are even using fake people with fake credentials, they get random people on social media, promising big payment just to use their profile, if they have that requirement scamming will be minimized
You forgot about some specific country managers who keep on complaining about "predatory" tactics by other managers? Its baseless and false but there was a thread in "Reputation" about it a couple of months back.

It is strange how childish these "professional" people can become instead of focusing on their work.
3928  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to get VIP Signals? on: December 01, 2020, 05:50:57 AM
I have searched a lot. And also watched many videos but still didn't get any legit VIP Signals group.
Stop watching those videos. You are giving them free view counts for nothing. Roll Eyes

Quote
Some are those which are asking for the fee. I want to submit the fee but afraid they will grab and will not give the correct signals.
Your inner feeling is correct. These are disguised scams. They will take your money and simply run away or they could give you some "signals" but they are not actually basing that on any studies but random stuff that they can say so that they get the money.

Quote
Want help If there is anyone who knows any good crypto VIP signals group. So please share.
Maybe you are new to these things, let me tell you there is nothing like a legitimate signals groups. All of them, I repeat "All" of them are scams.

You will get ripped off for some bunch of fake signals and then may or may not get a profit.

But people go for them because they are lazy enough to not do their own TA and studies before trading. TA is not essential if you are going for a long term hold but good if you are day trading. They are fools and thus separated from their money quickly. Tongue
3929  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What do you think about this service ? on: December 01, 2020, 05:44:53 AM
This "francis" guy is well known on the Stake community to be a scammer for several years now. Not sure if you are new to Stake but probably you stayed off the drama chats and thus never came to know about it.

Of course this is a scam, remember that making an account on stake is free and upgrading that account to higher VIP statuses takes wagering to reach so this creates the demand/supply for aged accounts just like older members accounts on this forum and others.

But the team behind Stake is very cautious about stolen accounts and so and thus you only risk your money if the person saying so is legit and trying to sell it. Either way you will be at risk.

Be careful of such PMs and it is best to block them without even wasting a single moment over it.
3930  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Stake or nitrogen my point of view on: November 30, 2020, 11:00:08 AM
I have used both bookies and none of the mentioned gambling websites are able to cover my needs as a professional service. The Stake has the lowest odds and the house edge per bet is higher compared to the alternative betting websites. Scam accusations are solved by the Stake team but the same is not true for Nitrogen, AFAIK. Maybe this is the main reason why the popularity of Pinnacle increases every year among high rollers.
See the OP here is biased about their own decisions. They have used NS previously, did not like them and moved on to Stake. That does not mean that NS is bad and Stake is good - totally incorrect. This is a personal choice based on many factors and one does not make the verdict.

What will suit your playing habit, withdrawal delays, support issues will depend on your experience and thus making up your mind before using the site is a wrong approach.

Every gambler willing to take their chances should use more than one bookie to play on. Stake is still new in the sports betting department while NS is older in sports betting.
3931  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you believe support and resistance still work in crypto? on: November 30, 2020, 10:57:34 AM
As long as humans are trading the markets, emotions will be involved.
Bots have become very much prevalent in the markets now.

Quote
Support and resistances are in fact areas of interest where , in the past, have been accompanied by a lot of buying/selling pressure.
Essentially making these points worth keeping note of. A diligent trader would not swipe away the possibility that an older support level can still be active after several years and place buy orders around that to buy before the bull pump occurs from that level. This can be tricky but this is the calculated guessing behind placing of orders.

Quote
I don't see why would this indicator won't work in any kind of market.
These are not indicators but levels that have been historically known.
3932  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty and airdrops at the end of 2020 on: November 30, 2020, 10:52:43 AM
The bottom line is that I am a poor student with a small dream that requires an investment of money and time.
Your dream needs investment? Are you aiming for some entrepreneur like thing? I would suggest you to re-think your current position and focus on more studies and the mainstream market instead of crypto.

Quote
And it is very difficult to earn money during a pandemic and with living conditions in the village-like city.
But your "village" still has access to internet and electronic devices otherwise you would not be posting here. So I guess you can take in the forums campaigns that pay in bitcoin.

Quote
So I have a question. Is it realistic to make money on bounties and airdrops at the moment? How long will it take me, with my current status on forum, the lack of a three-digit number of subscribers on social networks and other experience. If possible, I would be very grateful for any advice, because I have no experience other than participating in airdrops in 2017.
Honestly speaking, No. You would be wasting time on them more than you can spend time to work on your studies and skills.

Bounties were good at one time back in 2017 and now they are nothing but shitcoins, failed teams forcing people to submit KYCs and plain scams being propagated like wildfire.

Its a vicious cycle of despair and frustration and trust me as a student you will not want to become a part of this.

What you can do is go for the bitcoin paying signature campaigns. They will be worth your time.
3933  Other / Meta / Re: Where to Post? on: November 29, 2020, 06:50:06 AM
I'm currently starting a business with my wife ( selling some local bags - enough to be considered as Good Quality )
First of all good luck in this new venture, hope it sustains and becomes successful in future both locally and on the forum.

Quote
My question is, aside from my Local Thread, I want to start business with having transactions via foreign money so where can I post it?
If accepting fiat, then this forum's "Goods" would not be the right place for this. Bitcoin and altcoins as payment should be the way to go here. If you think bitcoin fees are being high and making your customers move away, accept altcoins for the time being.

What my suggestion is that you should accept fiat in the facebook page, because that follows the order (facebook and fiat Grin) and Bitcoin for customers from the forum. Make sure to get some more social media pages opened too, they are the basis of today's marketing.
3934  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Why do people invest in DeFi tokens with unaudited smart contracts? on: November 29, 2020, 06:40:08 AM
I would give a lot of importance to craze and hype that surrounds all these names. One project doing good leads to a lot of similar projects coming up but the truth is that they are copying and less likely to get anything good in terms of development. But what they get is fundraising and many investors will join in to support the next project with a similar name because they care about the way to make money and not the long term goal.

So they join the hype even if their contract is unaudited which would mean possible bugs and exploits still exist. Or it could be a reverse scamming method used by the owners to raise money and then hack their own code and show that they have been robbed. Roll Eyes You cant trust anybody.

In fact other than bitcoin, everything else in this sector is a short term gain vision. Long term has gone back to traditional markets where you have legit companies running legit projects at least making some real earnings.
3935  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Copy Trading... on: November 28, 2020, 09:56:07 AM
I'm very skeptical about copy trading as well. I've lost trades many times and I can't remember hitting big since 2018. All I want is to earn big every week but who should I copy and for a pro trader, would he want someone leeching over his trading activity and making money just copying him?
Hah, just think over it, if such a thing was even possible would every copy trader not become equally rich as the "pro trader"? Logically yes, provided the "pro" is a real pro and not a fake one, which in many cases is the problem.

You see the world is filled with such people coming up with methods to make it seem they make it easy for you to make money, in reality the person selling it is the one actually getting rich. It is a type of a scam you can say. Copy trading is one, MLM is another.

Quote
I wouldn't expect a yes to that question. I haven't heard someone really earning big with copy trading. Did Baldwin really do rely on it?
Trust yourself mate. Dont ask that question which you know you would not get an answer to. Wink
3936  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: bounty hunter on: November 28, 2020, 09:49:48 AM
A fraudulent project will get caught at some time and exposed by other members of this forum. Now bounty hunters are knowledgeable about their payment, if they see a scam project they will stop supporting it and move on to another one.

They are not responsible for the scam, then we would have endless pages of user accounts who need to be red tagged and then forgiven after a few months to come clean. Thats not how this trust system on this forum works. They may be punished with a red tag temporarily by some DT member, still they will get PM spam regularly begging to remove that rating very soon.

Most bounty hunters are expected to do their own research on a project before investing but that does not completely remove the scams nor to-be-failures.
3937  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: I suggest raising the topic of bounty companies!!! on: November 27, 2020, 06:55:30 AM
You can't demand that to the bounty owners. Their bounty, their rules.
Honestly this is so true. Cheesy

Quote
The solution for your demand is only to look for those bounties with a reputable manager that holds a guaranteed payment. They have at least a good choice upon managing a bounty.
Guaranteed payment is also 99% never going to happen thing. Escrowed tokens can be a thing but very few I have seen in the past and most of those were of course run by well known managers.

The intention of these projects is to raise money and not to pay people who promote them so of course bounty hunters get less attention than what investors get. Also teams know well how to screw its hunters by not delaying token distribution while advisors sell of their profits and exit and the bounty hunters get their shitcoins and prices -100%  of ICO price.

Sad but true, the entire bounty system is a mess worsened by its own participants.
3938  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bitcoin Transactioin Time on: November 27, 2020, 06:52:02 AM
exactly i don't paid any fees, I am currently trying to understand the working of crypto. Therefore, I deposited only almost $5 without any fees.
You cant send out any x$ without fees. Either you are missing it or were too new to notice.

How much time takes to complete a bitcoin transaction in binance? I am new in Crypto and buy bitcoin but after 30 minutes, I did not receive anything in my wallet  Undecided Undecided
Did you buy the coins on Binance?

If so there should be a transaction history page where you can check your transactions, deposits and withdrawals. I suppose you are trying to withdraw to your wallet what you bought on the exchange.

Assuming you did everything correctly and used your personal wallet address for the withdrawal, you should get a transaction ID and also a new entry on the wallet address page of your personal wallet where all unconfirmed/confirmed transactions get listed - best way to check your wallet balance is to go to any online block explorer website and put in the wallet address in the search.
3939  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: US people are buying LTC while the other world is avoiding it on: November 27, 2020, 06:44:58 AM
US adoption maybe good for LTC but investors knows what to do for sure and since there’s no great news with LTC aside from their previous halving, I don’t think this will become big again. Looking on its price from the last uptrend, the volume is indeed not that high compare to others, good prices will still come by next year maybe.
Thats all that is to LTC, sadly. There are developments occurring like I said, but how much is really making a move on the market is doubtful. Maybe there will be a long term growth through developments but we might not see it during our lifetime, so better to move on from the LTC bubble of thought to BTC.

The last halving of LTC saw some good dumping action. My guess is that every hodler of LTC is secretly waiting to sell their stash because they are getting tired of holding it for such long periods of time.

If you hold LTC, good luck attempting to sell it. If you are not holding LTC, dont think about buying it. Dont get greedy buying coins that have no future, practically speaking.
3940  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty managers can do better on: November 26, 2020, 07:10:55 AM
The problem is sometimes newbie managers are willing to risk just for them to have added in their portfolio and this is the competition tighten ,the older managers has no option either to stop managing or go with the flow, because even how denial they do new Bounty manager are willing to shoulder the risk and Scammer team knew about this.
Correct, the teams know that their "scam" will be marketed by someone. That is also why there is a need of a managers' group which can reach a consensus about new projects and assign the project to someone in that group on a turn-by-turn basis - my opinion. Anyone who is not a certified member of this group could be marked as a manager whose projects are to be handled with caution by hunters.

However creating such a system will generate a lot of uproar from unscrupulous managers like it always has happened in the past.

Quote
So in all ways you must admit as Bounty hunter that the Bounty ways will remain like this as it started like this also.
Sadly it is a vicious never ending cycle. Stop hunting bounties is what I have to say.
