Will there be a refund?

yes, we are presently involved in the refund process. there are technical problems i don´t fully understand. conflicting versions of software since it was all put together almost a year ago and now newer versions of software are not compatible anymore. we have a 3 way multisig application but three different guys with different computer skills in different locations (from zero to expert; me counting as zero) with three different pc/mac setups in different upgrade versions. on top of that we never seem to find a time spot where we all can get together, since we all moved on with other projects, jobs - we are all busy like hell.

we are working on it. if we fail i refund from personal stash.

no
3924  Economy / Speculation / Re: rpietila Wall Observer - the Quality TA Thread ;) on: November 20, 2014, 01:28:31 PM
It would be great if they sold all at once because we are not gong anywhere... it will only bring more money in in a frenzy to buy the bottom. Sadly they wouldn't do this.. they would rather sell slowly and keep the market from rising similar to gold... however once they are done.. buying pressure will take them over and we will rise regardless of their efforts.. actually its good they sell now and not later when btc is $10k

What happened when US ran out of gold?

Yes: they wage war and take it from Saddam, Gadhaffi, Ukraine and everywhere else there is some.

Maybe we don't want those crazies with big guns run out of bitcoins?

Loading tonnes and tonnes of gold onto cargo planes in the middle of the night headed straight to America. In retrospect, it seems sort of... unseemly?

unseemly? surely you know the US is an extraordinary nation. Hence, they don't have to play by the rules. They have extraordinary privileges given by god. Since printing USD doesn't work so well any more, clearly they are entitled to taking other peoples gold. What I don't understand, though: since they're gods nation, why don't they just take the vast quantities of gold from the Vatican?

3927  Economy / Speculation / Re: SecondMarket Bitcoin Investment Trust Observer on: November 19, 2014, 02:20:28 PM

In principle, yes. That's why I've said for a while now, in opposition to some of the uberbulls, that if truly big capital wants to enter, they will probably do so off-exchange, by contractually binding large mining operations' outputs to themselves. That might still leave traces in the overall supply situation and have some effect on on-exchange prices, but probably be less of an impact than if they'd outright buy the same amounts on-exchange.

Anyway, the above is conjecture: it's only to point out why it is possible that big capital is entering a substantial position without us noticing directly that this is happening.

SecondMarket buys are publicly visible (or at least: the outcome is visible publicly, we don't know where and how they're getting their orders filled), that much is clear. So the psychological effect (if it exists) does apply.

But maybe I misunderstood the question?

*insulting garbage*

dont mess with oda. he is smarter than you by several orders of magnitude.
3928  Bitcoin / Meetups / Re: announcement: the international "when-bitcoin-reaches 1000,- $ party" on: November 19, 2014, 11:54:51 AM
Honestly, I don't care much what the official reason for the party will be, as long as it's a party and it's excessive! ;-)

Ente

the excessive part we took care of long ago. first thing we did is to order coke for all 1000 attendants. now with the party being cancelled, we have to live with the consequences...  Cool
3929  Economy / Speculation / Re: POLL: Next rally's ATH on: November 19, 2014, 11:48:38 AM
November 2013 - $1200
May/June 2014 - $680
November 2014 - $450

It gets weaker and weaker...

you should change "Coin" to "Brain"

this would somewhat tighten the gap between your name and your posting

In some ways it is delightful we don't have as many full on trolls in here. At the same time, this has turned into a total echo chamber of delusion, again.
Agreed, this place (and others) has become an echo chamber for bitter ex-bulls (well, pigs) who have been burnt and are now constantly decrying Bitcoin because of their inability to realistically evaluate risks beforehand.

like the risk of gettin rich while hodling a few years ?

those who got burnt sold too early.

It is funny because they are treating the page number like the price of Bitcoin. /Ralph

My theory is that there's a warped character out there whose heart is set on either $1000 or $10,000 on the 10,000th page. If that is the case then we could be floating around for rather a long time.

had to have a lot of posts, prior.... how many posts per page? or is it variable to size of posts? could just divide your post count in the thread vs post per page limit

the manipulators will soon run out of posts that they can dump.

this thread is backed by nothing. this giant blah-blah bubble will crash hard. lawsky will put some stiff regulation on it, china has plans to ban it and adam will pull a karpeles and steal all your posts. centralized wall observer threads are history, you bulltards just don't want to see the truth.

I'm planning to delete all my posts as soon as we hit 12000 pages, take my profits, and only start posting again at ~5000 pages,

man, dont let shrooms know that you are a "fkn" post trader....
3937  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: November 17, 2014, 09:42:11 PM
Adam should lock this thread in 10000. page and start new one. 1.5 years passed.
Nah, we need to go for 100k posts next.
