3941  Economy / Economics / Re: Possible market crash in the near future? on: November 16, 2021, 11:12:53 AM
There are (as of  now) 14029 cryptocurrencies listed in coinmarketcap.com.
A case has been made (repeatedly) for  the existence of a bubble in the cryptocurrency market.
Yeah, I understand cryptocurrencies are volatile, high risk investments. But, are you guys expecting a market crash anytime soon?
Yes and I know that many are also expecting for a market crash anytime.

Since the start of the pandemic, we've seen cryptocurrency going up and up though we almost saw the market going to a bear market when Bitcoin went below the $30,000 price. I believe that the next crash of the market will be the start of the bear market. When it will happen? We don't know when it will happen but just be ready because when it happens most of the investors aren't ready for it (including me when I'm still starting).
3942  Economy / Speculation / Re: Which one gonna come true ??? on: November 16, 2021, 10:25:36 AM
TBH, I'm not a fan of those Bitcoin predictions coming from these so-called analysts.

An influential person can say his/her prediction with regards to Bitcoin price next year on in X amount of months. An Average Joe can share his prediction. A beggar can share his prediction too. A rich person can share his. My point is anybody can share his own prediction at any amount of time.

Now with regards to the 3 predictions, it seems that Tom Lee's prediction of $168,000 before 2022 will not happen. We have seen many many price increase of Bitcoin in a short amount of time but to increase more than 2x in just 2 months is just insane and almost impossible. I'm not saying though that it will not happen but many of us think that it will not happen right?

Now it comes to the 2 predictions. Tim Draper's prediction of $250,000 by 2022 seems possible but what are the chances of it to happen. For me I think its low at least for now. Maybe if we see Bitcoin at at least $100,000 at the 1st quarter of 2022 then it might happen but the chances of this to happen is very low. Winkelvoss' prediction has a huge time horizon thus they predicted a higher price and with this, their prediction might actually happen. In the last decade of Bitcoin, we've seen massive gains and price spikes and it went up high that nobody expected it to happen. $500,000 in a decade seems to me that it will happen though the chances of it to happen is still low for me.
3943  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is your opinion on recent bull market, will it be over soon? on: November 16, 2021, 08:29:22 AM
Markets are moving in cycles.
After a bull market, a big correction will happen.
The only question is when it will happen.

The bull market is a great opportunity for those long time holders to take profit. The bull market is a great opportunity for the traders to get profit as well. We all know that this bull market that we are experiencing right now will end up. Its only a matter of when it will happen. Many are saying that the bull market will end up next year and many are saying that it might be extended until next year. My opinion about the recent bull market? Well, I hope that many took profits already but what I'm feeling is this bull market will end up possible next year. Take note its my opinion and if it will not happen then good for us Smiley.
3944  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: November 16, 2021, 07:37:16 AM
That Bulls vs Lakers game looked like one hell of a game. Lonzo shot the lights out with one of his best games and Derozan was unstoppable. The Lakers again looked average and just couldn’t compete with the Bulls shooting as everything was going in for them. Nice to see a moment between LeBron and Caruso, but Lakers fans definitely are ready to see the King back on the floor.
Alex Caruso tribute. I thought he is going to cry while watching all his highlights on the big screen. He didn't but the Lakers fans appreciated him with a long round of applause. He is a champion, there is no doubt and he ain't stopping just yet.
We know the style of Lebron. Whenever his team has a bad performance last season, they will reshuffle and trade other players and it doesn't matter if you won a champ or not. If you didn't perform well last season then you're out.

The Laker fans appreciated how Caruso entertained them and he will not be called "Caru-show" for nothing. Its an appreciation for the fans that he is in the building again and its always good to see fans that are appreciating you when you come back. What I don't like though is those fans who are chanting "BOO" to some players who they've hated. I still remember Kawhi being boo'ed at the Spurs building when he joined the Raptors Cheesy.

Well, AC is better now in Chicago and they are 2nd in the Eastern Conference tied with the Nets with 10-3. I'm a bit surprised seeing Wizards at the top though and the defending champs Bucks who didn't have that much trades this off-season are in the 11th.
3945  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: November 16, 2021, 05:23:26 AM
As a fan of SMB, I want to see them get Greg Slaughter out of NorthPort and let him play alongside Junemar Fajardo. Some will say that this is too much but considering that these two towers are not in their peak in the next few years, this could happen.
Knowing how controversial SMB are with regards to their trades, this might actually happen.
The question is will it be beneficial for the team? Another one is, will the commissioner allow this trade?

Will it be beneficial for the team? I don't think so and I don't think too that NorthPort will allow to trade Slaughter after getting him. Trading CStan for Slaughter is a gamble for the NorthPort at first because they don't know how Slaughter changed after his training or will it be beneficial for the team to get him for CStan. Turns out that they won the trade and I don't think that NP will allow Slaughter to go to SMB "unless" SMB will trade Fajardo for Slaughter then that would be an equal trade IMO.

Will the commissioner allow the trade? NO for me. I know that the competition of the league is decreasing and this trade will further decrease it. Just think how will other teams respond to this if Fajardo and Slaughter will be in one team.

IMO, it's better if Ginebra will take back Greg as they were a great team with him while they struggle with C. Stand being their big man.
Isn't it shameful for Ginebra to get the player that they've traded again?
I mean Greg chose to not play in PBA to train and then Ginebra signed him again just to trade him to get CStan and then they will get him again just because it turns out that it didn't favored with them. I don't think that this will happen and I don't think that NP will allow it as well.

Overall, these 2 trades might happen since we know how SMC is doing in terms of trades and they even have the controversial trades as well. I just hope that both the NP and Commissioner will not allow to trade Slaughter unless it will be an equal trade and both teams will benefit from it.
3946  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: November 13, 2021, 12:54:44 PM

I didn't expect this trade though I already know that the "Death 5" will be breaking as they are old already. What are your thoughts with this?

Nothing personal here, it's just a business and we have to accept that it happened.

I'm also surprised at first knowing there's another trade from the SMB roster, and Cabagnot being a clutch guy is traded for Enciso, I guess the SMB are looking for youth that's why they traded their older players.

Cabagnot is 38 years old and Arwind Santos is 40, they are already veterans, so we can understand the decision of the management.
Yeah TBH I already expected this as well and I think that they themselves also expected this too since they are old already and we know how SMB works with regards to trading.
They've made controversial trades back in the years. The likes of Danny Siegle, Danny I, Caidic are some of the players that they traded even though they have great contribution to the team.

I will not be surprised too if Ross and Lassiter will be traded to other teams as well. I'm not expecting Fajardo to be traded as he can still play for at least 2-3 years with the team.
3947  Economy / Economics / Re: Credit cards | A scam or a tool? on: November 13, 2021, 12:06:55 PM
What's your thought about credit cards? Do you consider them a banking fraud, just to trick you to spend money you don't have, or a useful tool if used correctly? Do you have one yourself?
Credit cards are either a good thing or a bad thing depending on how you will use it.
I'm from a country where people mostly using credit cards to buy some stuffs either online or in malls. I myself don't have one and I'm not planning to have one too. I don't know the exact reason but I don't want to have credit card ever since.

The trick on credit cards is to use them wisely, not spending more than you can afford, always pay in time, otherwise you'll get a huge interest on your balance, while at the same time, you're building a credit score.
One word. Discipline.
Your trick will work only with the people who have discipline on themselves. I know somebody who are using credit card whenever he goes to a mall. Now come this pandemic and he lost his job and can't pay his credit card debt. Luckily there is somebody who let him pay his debt and then he will pay that person monthly with a lower interest. Like I said, having discipline is the key if you want your credit card to be a tool that will help you.

What's your take on this? Are you against credit card usage?
Well like I said, credit cards are either a good thing or a bad thing depending on the user using it. If the user doesn't have discipline and he just uses his credit cards and don't know how to pay in time then it will be a burden for him and vice versa.
3948  Economy / Speculation / Re: What if $70k was Bitcoin ATH for the year? on: November 13, 2021, 11:30:05 AM
Will you be satisfied if 2021  ends with an ATH of $70k for Bitcoin.
I would be. Who would not? I mean many are waiting for Bitcoin to be at $70,000 right?
Ohhh I forgot, there is no such thing as satisfaction with the people. What I mean is that if we see Bitcoin at $70,000 some will say "Ohhh it will go up more to $80,000 or even higher blah blah".

Will it make you more richer or it wouldn't add any value to your intial capital.
I bought my Bitcoin since 2019 and I'm holding it so it will make me richer.

Will you regret you joined the trend late or  would you be glad you bought when the  market did a retracement? Or you are still staring at Bitcoin with some sentiment
I will feel more regret if I joined with the hype of Bitcoin. I would rather wait for a retracement before buying. I might feel regret if I joined or bought late but it seems that I'm not doing it Cheesy.
3949  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Top 5 NFT Games You Should Be Looking Forward To on: November 13, 2021, 11:09:11 AM
Axie Infinity, Plants Vs. Undead and Lost Relics are the ones that I've played already with the 5 games that OP has shared.

With NFT hype, there are new games that are being created every single day. I always see a video on Youtube regarding new games that are being created every day (sponsored). Different games, different genres, some of them are inspired with different games and characters like Axie Infinity, Monsta Infinite and Illuvium which is inspired by Pokemon. Bombcrypto which is inspired by Bomberman. Mir4 and Lost Relics are inspired by some other MMORPG's out there and Diablo as well.

TBH, its hard to invest into NFT's right now because of too much NFT games. I suggest that investing into some games that has a huge daily active users and has a huge communities.
3950  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: November 13, 2021, 09:46:56 AM
^^ It is living up to the expectations right now, the game is very close.

Bulls takes the lead early, but GSW comes back, now the score is 41-40 for GSW. But the Warriors are missing a lot of shot specially 3 point shot.

Curry though is still in the bench, but let's see who the game will turn out to be.
GSW now in a big lead at the third quarter. A big turnaround when Steph Curry acquires his hot hands.
Bulls having a difficult time to see the plays made by Steve Kerr, I just wish they reviewed some clips about it or this game will be over if no one will figure out how to stop it.

Yeah, another big game for Steph and the Golden State Warriors.

They've almost score 40 points again in the 3rd quarter, I like Payton Jr play though, he has his father's quick hands, not sure how many steal he got but I count at least 2.

Bulls has no answer, they are just playing horrendously. Not sure if they can even score 100 points in this game.
I want to say that the 3rd quarter dominance of the Warriors lead them to victory but it seems like they've outscored Bulls since the 2nd quarter already.

If you will see the Box Score at the official website of the NBA, you will see that all of the Warriors' players have contribution to the team either offensively (points and assists) or defensively (steals and blocks). All of them played to this game as well maybe because they got a huge lead at the 3rd quarter already. Still this just shows that the Warriors are very unpredictable because you don't know who will be their go-to guy that will shoot and shoot. Curry is always their go-to guy but a second shooter or a 3rd shooter that will help the team score if he is on the bench.

GP2 is a great addition to the team. His athleticism and his defensive skills makes the Warriors better defensively. Add also his highlight dunks (at least one per game). The Warriors are lucky to have him.
3951  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: November 13, 2021, 09:19:07 AM
After trading Arwind Santos to NorthPort for Vic Manuel, here is another bigtime trade coming from SMB.
They traded Alex Cabagnot, one of the "Death 5" to TerraFirma for Simon Enciso.

https://cnnphilippines.com/sports/2021/11/13/Cabagnot-Enciso-trade.html
Quote
League powerhouse San Miguel Beermen parted ways with another veteran player as they shipped guard Alex Cabagnot to Terrafirma Dyip in exchange for Simon Enciso.

The Philippine Basketball Association Commissioner’s Office approved the trade on Saturday.

Who is the winner with this trade? Its hard to know at least for me since both of the teams have benefits with this trade. For TerraFirma, we know how good Cabagnot is in terms of leadership. He can share his experience to the young players of Dyip and can be a good leader to them as well like what he is doing when he is still in SMB. While for Enciso, he will be a good bench shooter like Pessumal. He will be a good addition since they have many 3point shooters already.

I didn't expect this trade though I already know that the "Death 5" will be breaking as they are old already. What are your thoughts with this?

I can still remember that time where my account also got hacked by this stupid Phoenix Miner shits. I don't even know what that means or at least I just know that it is a miner that's all.

They've said already the way to retrieve your account and I already sent you a PM into what I've done when I experienced the same thing. Sending a signed and verified message here is the best thing and if you still have that (which is I think you have) then you're good. I still can't forget what I did after seeing the my account got locked. I needed to get my 8 yr old laptop with a broken screen just to recover my signed Bitcoin address there Cheesy.

Just wait for at least 2 weeks I think because that is the number of weeks I waited before I got my account back. You will get yours so no worries Smiley. Thanks again for those who helped me back then Smiley.

Whenever I see those posts, most come from low-rankers but once in a blue moon would see Legendaries. One spotted earlier today. I'd always be wondering if they would actually be bought over or something because some even bear signatures from previous campaigns.

Did you install any malicious browser extension or had your credentials leaked by any chance? HaveIbeenPwned is a good place to start.
I didn't install any malicious browser extension whatsoever. The mistake that I did is that, I only used one email account in all of my accounts that is related to crypto including my Bitcointalk account. Maybe its because of that mistake I did that lead to my account getting locked.

I just tried putting my email address into HaveIbeenPwned and it seems like there is a problem with my email since this is what appeared.
Quote
Pwned in 3 data breaches and found 3 pastes
Since its my main email account, maybe I saved some of my credentials out there that caused my account to get compromised. Is there a way to remove this breaches and paste that I got from my email account? Thanks for sharing too Smiley.
Right now, I'm not using that email anymore when I'm creating accounts that are related to crypto since I have may emails that I'm using right now. Gladly that I used a different email address in some of my important accounts that are related to crypto.
3953  Economy / Economics / Re: Banks will die crypto will take over in 5-10 years on: November 12, 2021, 02:49:39 PM
Most of the people out there are using banks to save their money and because they trust the banks because it is the place where they store their money, they aren't afraid to share their personal information to them. Its almost the same as Binance users sharing their personal information to them just to have access to their services. Banks need your information if you want to access their services as well.

Now with regards to banks dying in 5-10 years, I don't think that it will happen but I think what they will do is just they will adopt to what is happening to the financial industry. If crypto will change the financial industry then the banks must adopt if they want to stay or else, they will end up useless (at least for some). Overall, I think that banks will adopt if something will change especially if crypto will change how we are right now. They will not die because its their business and they need to adopt or they will lose their money.
3954  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: November 12, 2021, 01:02:59 PM
I guess most of them played in the NBA but does not have a good career in the NBA. Justin Brownlee AFAIK did not play in the NBA but as we saw in the past conferences, he is still very competitive with the imports. What worries me now is that with some of the imports that are bigger than Brownlee, how would the Ginebra be able to defend the paint when they don't have a tall Center.
Physicality and Ginebra still has Aguilar and CStan which is I think still a good defender in the paint though I'm not pretty sure if they can defend and stop those imports especially the big ones knowing how big and strong some are. I'm thinking that Brownlee will let the local players of Ginebra defend the paint and he will just score and score like what he is doing back in the years.

I guess I just missed Slaughter, you know, they struggled when they traded him and the Northport who receives him gets better, so maybe the Ginebra this new conference will not be the same team. Yes, Brownlee will score but we also have the opposing team who has an import that could score, so I can't be too confident now to see the same Ginebra team that won championships in the past.
When we first saw the trade, we taught that Ginebra is the winner here because of how CStan played in NorthPort and in SMB as well compare to how Slaughter played in Ginebra where he is just a 2nd unit there.

When the Filipino Cup started, we saw the huge improvements of Slaughter when he is in NorthPort. He is more agile now, stronger and a better big than he is when he is in Ginebra. Overall, he improved when he got his training in other country. I also missed Slaughter but he improved when he got traded and that is a good thing for NorthPort. Lets see how Ginebra will adjust on their inside defense again now that they got CStan instead of Slaughter and its Governor's Cup.

Gobert and Turner has this scuffle with multiple ejections. Just a couple of days ago we have the Jokic vs Morris incident and now this one.
Gobert don't usually fight even if he was beaten up below the rim but this one is different when Turner intentionally used his shoulder while running down.
Mitchell should also not overreact for those kind of fights that will cost them the entire game. There's still a lot of time there and its a waste for them to lose just because of that.
I watched the short video and it looks like Gobert is just frustrated because of the no foul call and he just pulled Turner's shorts and that is the start of it.
With that short scuffle between Gobert and Turner, correct me but Gobert didn't spoke at all while Turner is just throwing words at him.

I also saw a red-hot Mitchell which is overreacting like you said. Maybe its also because they are down 10 with 4 minutes left and possible no foul calls as well that cause them him to react like that. Anyway, they lost at their home. Well, fights are pretty normal already in NBA.
3956  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Chika Inu on: November 12, 2021, 11:49:58 AM
Well, another memecoin and a shitcoin as well has emerged again Cheesy.
Coins with Inu's and Moon in the ending are quite popular to the point that this is what devs are using to ride the hype of shitcoins.
Overall, nobody cares about this new coin.

3%
Scarcity
In the long run, cryptocurrencies are valued for their scarcity. Hence, it is important to maintain value and a deflationary trend for Chika Inu. To do this, 3% of every transaction is burned
I'm a bit curious about this feature not only this coin but some coins out there such as Safemoon.
Ok lets say that in every transaction, 3% of the total tokens will be burned. Will there be a time that this coin's supply will go to 0 because of this feature? Well either way, I will ignore this coin and other meme coins as well. I'm just curious Cheesy.
3957  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: November 12, 2021, 03:46:40 AM
I'm a bit happy that some of you shared your opinions into which team will you think will dominate this upcoming Governor's Cup.

How about Henry Walker, you still remember this guy? I guess this guy is really good when he played as an import before and ROS is so lucky to have him as he is a good big man.
Correct me but I think he was the import of Blackwater back then when they are still a stronger team that they are right now. Good to see him once again but in a new team already.

I'm thinking that Brownlee will let the local players of Ginebra defend the paint and he will just score and score like what he is doing back in the years.

Still hard to have that guess not until we already have seen the full roster change for most of the teams. Since there's already the list of imports for every team, we can have an idea who amongst them has nice stats as part of their history and if you're someone who does a lot of research and background checking. But to look at the entire teams with its full roster, I guess at this point, we can just guess that it's going to be the top teams as the usual.
With or without imports, we are always choosing those top teams like SMB, Ginebra, TNT Cheesy. That is how unbalance the league is right now. Some teams are just farming teams of these top teams which is kinda disappointing since they are removing the competitiveness of the league.

User LogitechMouse encountered the similar issue back in September, which was also about this Phoenix Mining stuffs in this thread.
Your best shot is signing a message from your staked address in here.

I saw the post you're referring to from one of the scraped post from LoyceV's Search Tool, but I am not sure if I should refer it in here as it contains the direct download link from Github. It's basically the changelog of the software, if that was indeed what you're referring to.

Big thanks for this! Yes, it's the same case that happened to me a while ago. The unauthorized post that Logitechmouse did (https://archive.fo/8Xb0A) is identical to what I remember on the post I deleted. I already sent an email to the email address provided at the ban noticed. I hope I will get an update.

I can provide a signed message in ETH. The address I always used when asking loan for DarkStar. I hope it will consider as enough and strong proof.

......and Wiggins who got 35 points and its his new season high.

I guess Wiggins was really big after all, they literally have the big 3 now because Curry, Poole, and Wiggins could drop a huge number in a single game. I like that they are very unpredictable now, it's not always Curry but other players are stepping up when they are needed.

Of course, another good win by the Warriors and their win streak continues.
While Klay is recovering from his injuries, I think that they are considered the Big 3 right now or maybe we might add Green as well since he is also a part of the Big 3 when the Warriors are dominating. Big 3 + 1 would be better Cheesy.

TBH, these Warriors team are more deadly and unpredictable right now compare to where it was years ago when they are still dominating the league. They have more three point shooters now, another thing is that most of the teams are focusing on Curry that they are forgetting other players. Because he attracts players with his running around, there are times that somebody will be open and they will be the one to shoot. Curry is like a bait and that works.

On another note, Anthony Edwards is just simply a beast. Dude's unstoppable with his drives and shooting ability but they were no match against the whole bench and squad of Warriors.
With another superstar beside Edwards and Towns and some better players around them, they might become a playoff contender. Edwards has the potential to be a superstar. Its just that he doesn't have enough help coming from the team. This kid is unstoppable and its not surprising knowing that he is the top pick in the draft last 2020.
3960  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: November 11, 2021, 11:50:29 AM
They already have shared the full list of imports of all of the teams in the PBA.
Quote
Brgy. Ginebra - Justin Brownlee
Meralco Bolts - Shabazz Muhammad
TNT Tropang Giga - McKenzie Moore
NorthPort Batang Pier - Cameron Forte
NLEX Road Warriors - KJ McDaniels
San Miguel Beermen - Brandon Brown
Magnolia Hotshots - Mike Harris
Alaska Aces - Olu Ashaolu
Rain or Shine - Henry Walker
TerraFirma Dyip - Antonio Hester
Phoenix Fuel Masters - Paul Harris
Blackwater Bossing - Jaylen Bond

One of the imports that we must look at is the import of Meralco Bolts, Shabazz Muhammad. He is a former NBA player and he played in CBA where he averaged more or less 30 PPG in one season. I think that Meralco is one team that other teams might want to watch this conference (IMO). They have legit import that is a shooter/scorer and they also have a good roster and we've seen it in the Filipino Cup where they are 2nd in elimination round. Which team do you think will dominate this Governor's Cup?
