3941  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do not ignore the small profits in Bitcoin investments. on: September 08, 2019, 05:44:43 PM
Let's say you had enough money to buy 1 whole Bitcoin when the price was at it's lowest in Mar '19 <$3000+> and sold in May '19 <$8600>, then you would have more than doubled your initial investment.
I would rather hold for a longer period of time rather than selling out during those spikes as i am in this market for a long time to understand the market sentiments and i am not putting my credit cards amount in bitcoin to sell off fast, you need to have patience when it comes to any form of investment and the strategy you are telling will work but if the market rises after you sell off then there is no way to enter the market yet again. I do ignore small profits and i am here for the long term and hence it works all the time.

Keep an eye on overs remaining in the day : 36
I am hoping that in the last session Starc will proof he is the number one bowler.  Smiley
Tea Now !!!
Australia have the opportunity to wind up the English side within the day as they have plenty of overs left and the tail is exposed, Cummins and Hazlewood  are bowling really well but Hazlewood is yet to pick up the wicket but creating more pressure and Cummins have taken all the wickets, i do not expect anything special from Starc but with the tail exposed he could clean them up with pace.
3943  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: September 07, 2019, 08:46:45 PM
Complete dominance from Khabib and he submitted Dustin Poirier, what a fight, i am watching it in the arena and it is unbelievable, you got to watch it live to feel the presence. I am stoppipng this here and will update when i get home.

EDiT:
Damn, I envy you man, just look at UFC's official twitter account, "Videos are is not available in your location".  Grin.
I don't know who's next on Khabib, he is way above the competition now. I'm sure he will look for money fights now, Conor? Floyd?  Grin
Too much rush and i did not get the time to check anything, back home after a fun time  Smiley.
Tony will be his next opponent, Khabib will not go after money fight and he completely turned down any possible rematch against Conor until he comes back and prove he is a worthy title contender. Justin Gaethje will be on the line after that and it depends upon his match against Donald Cerrone.
3944  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: September 07, 2019, 05:33:12 PM
The big one tonight, I really hope Khabib gets knocked out but realistically it’s not going to happen is it. He’s going to bore his way to a victory like he always does Sad
Dustin Poirier is a really great fighter but he never faced anyone who had a good wrestling base and that will be the issue here, all of Dustin Poirier's prior opponents are strikers and he defeated everyone but Khabib is a different animal and with his dad in his corner he will stick to his basics and will go for take downs rather than strike with him, Poirier is known for his six punch combination and that does not work against a wrestler and that too against a wrestler of Khabib's caliber.
3945  Local / India / Re: What can we do? on: September 07, 2019, 10:05:16 AM
This will happen in every country eventually.
Countries that are ruled by stupid brainless people who lack basic education might come up with a ban for things they do not understand, other than that there are countries who will come up with rules and regulations as they know they cannot ban a market entirely and if that happens the only thing they does is to drive everything underground which will be another headache and the billions that are invested into the market already by companies.
This is the future and there is no point in neglecting that fact.
3946  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: September 06, 2019, 04:30:27 PM
look at floyd, he never got KO'd even after dozens of fights. Khabib seems to have a strong chin and definitely strong mentality, the chances of him getting ko'd randomly are slim but they are still there.
If you are having a great defense then no one will touch your chin, if your chin is exposed anyone can knock you down, most of the time the punches that are not seen can knock you down and that happened with Stipe Miocic when he faced Cormier, an upper cut from the clinch and he was knocked out cold but he does have a great chin as he even absorbed all the punches thrown by Francis Ngannou. Khabib will be having too much pressure as his dad will be in his corner for the first time and all of his relatives will be present in the arena and we will see how he handles that pressure.

My prediction for the day are: Khabib Nurmagomedov, Curtis Blaydes, Ryan Bader, Adam Borics and i am going for a parlay with these fighters. Wink

Davi Ramos and Islam Makhachev is a great fight as both are ground fighter, Ramos is black belt and i expect Ramos to win.

3950  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance hacked again 10k+ KYC (FACEBOOK 2.0 LEAKAGE) on: August 29, 2019, 01:46:36 PM
There are not a lot of options, some exchanges will allow you to trade till certian level is met and only then ask you for your KYC. And BTW Binance has high threshold till they ask for KYC. There are few anonymous  "decentralized"  exchanges out there, but they dont have the liquidity of the large exchanges.
It is true that the liquidity in these decentralized exchanges are not that great and with the regulations coming up we need to have strict actions being taken against exchanges who does not take care of the personal documents we are producing and if the regulatory body start giving out hefty fines like they did with facebook, every exchange will have a better security in taking care of their customer documents.
3951  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Lomachenko-Campbell Unification Fight on: August 29, 2019, 12:09:49 PM
Barely two weeks from now we are going to see the unification bout between Lomachenko and Campbell who were both olympic gold medalist during the 2012 London Olympics.
Loma is the huge favorite on the online bookies but we never knew what would happen in this fight as Campbell is a world champion too.
Vasyl Lomachenko is my favorite fighter of all time and i really do not see any challenge for him until he plans to move to higher weight divisions, he is already a three weight division champion in his 12th professional fight which is another exceptional feat, i have never seen a creative boxer in a very very long time, Prince Naseem Hamed comes to mind who was really impressive during my younger days, in the first rounds Lomachenko will study the range and tendency of the opponent and then he unloads, it is like a chess match and i am rooting for Lomachenko . Smiley
3952  Local / India / Re: Have anyone tried to convert Crypto to INR using Neteller or Skrill? on: August 29, 2019, 10:23:52 AM
But is it safe now? If the bank checks that the transaction is from Skrill and they find that we deposited BTC in Skrill and converted it into INR, it still is against the RBI ban.
I do not think so the government will monitor which method you are depositing money in Skrill or Neteller. I even checked their TOS now to check whether they updated anything regarding that and there is no restriction on that till now and you can still deposit bitcoin with a usual processing fees of 2.5%. Then there is conversion charges and when i did i remember they deducted over 25 k INR when the amount finally reached my account. Never used their service for bitcoin transaction after that.

They sent a letter to my residence which I had to confirm and the process took about 1-2 days for even bank verification. Never withdrew INR though.
I did not went through any lenghty procedure, i got verified without much issues after submitting my documents Passport and proof of address and bank statement, since you said you got letter in your residence, but the address i gave is a Villa i rented in Dubai a long time back, but i never got any letters nor did i update anything after that  Wink.
3953  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: August 28, 2019, 02:52:17 PM
What is wrong with ICC? They act so gullible sometimes. Stokes is a great player, but calling him the greatest of all time is pathetic and an insult to all the legends. Whoever is handling their twitter account is seriously dumb for posting such bullshit.
It is evident that someone from England is handling the twitter account  Cheesy, they tied the world cup but gave that to England and it is the greatest cricketing achievement they had and now in this series after folding to a total of just 67 runs and then went on to chase a total of 359 runs in the final innings is incredible and these two feats by Ben Stokes makes him the greatest contributor in world event when it mattered for England. To call someone the greatest of all time he needs to prove this time and again but the innings he played in both instances are incredible and one of the best i have seen in a very long time.
3954  Local / Press & News from India / Re: Supreme Court disses RBI over crypto ban in India on: August 28, 2019, 01:17:28 PM
I am glad that atleast RBI was made to answer and was questioned by the Judge. Now hope this will be the last hearing before they make the decision but don't want to have high hopes to be crashed later.
Hopefully we will have a verdict soon, the point made by the judge was awesome, if stock exchanges can run why not the crypto exchanges and if the IAMAI can come up with good counters for the arguments made by RBI then the possibility to win the case is really high, not sure what the government will put pressure on the Judiciary to delay the verdict yet again as we are seeing some strange things in the past few years.
3955  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance lost $40.7 million to hackers, which exchange is next!!! on: August 28, 2019, 12:13:52 PM
FYI binance itself have a trigger warning on their security system , ridiculous if such a huge exchange didn't have it.
I never claimed that they did not have any trigger system in place, you can check my post history and you will have my point in this matter. If a trigger system is initiated after loosing $40 million what kind of security measure is that. The trigger system is meant to stop any unusual activities and not after the process is done, if they are sending $40 million dollars per transaction in a block without any verification then no one can help them and that is the point i was trying to make.
Anything online can be hacked if there is a bug, but what happens if the entire wallets are offline and the kYC are not linked to the main application, do you think that the hackers will have any use hacking an exchange again rather than disrupting their service.
My point is there are ways to protect these sort of attacks the only thing is that they need to implement those to avoid these looses.
3956  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Coindesk & Cointelegraph give Fake News on: August 27, 2019, 03:36:56 PM
This is worrying because investors need good information and 2 leading crypto websites aren't delivering. I guess they don't have any journalists.
You might see paid news in these publication and you cannot make any judgement because some publication said so, i have seen your issues with Polo and i am not sure how that will end, lately we are seeing old news being resurfacing in many leading crypto website and it is mainly due to lack of new interesting news to attract their audience and they are simply click baiting with these old news.
3957  Local / India / Re: Where are the founders of Co insecure? on: August 27, 2019, 02:44:11 PM
You know reaching out to him is not that tough. Just mail him on the Coinsecure email and he'll respond to you directly.
As a long time bitcoiner and one of the trusted member i would like to see his response here if he wishes to, i am not planning to bug him with mails about asking about his plans. Smiley

Coinsecure was his baby. When that went down I think he got demotivated. He has a family to take care of and I would not blame him if he chose to stay away from anything that would smear his name unnecessarily.
I know he was a mature individual but trusting a single person to have full access to the company funds was an immature move and i know he never expected that, no one is smearing his name but he is indirectly responsible for the incident as you mentioned coinsecure was his baby.

Hoping to hear a good news from you soon Benson bro.

Hacked exchanges (unlike Binance) never or rarely come back and they always promise to relaunch not to left users disappointed. Unocoin is still managing some how but has removed half or more of their staff. There are more chances of Unocoin and Zebpay relaunching in India but not Coinsecure (IMO). Benson has been really helpful on this forum but it's sad to see how things turned.
That is a hard reality that hacked exchanges rarely come back and with Binance only time will tell what their real future holds.

Unocoin is not functioning like it used to be, even i thought and i moved some funds to see whether i could trade seeing their price a few months back but i was stuck and had to call their customer support to release my coins and they did that in a few days.
3958  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance Lending on: August 27, 2019, 01:27:33 PM
Great addition for the exchange, it seems like they are really focus in improving their exchange that they want to offer everything that are available in different exchanges.
After the hack they need to come up with something and lending is a venture that they started to protect their BNB coin to have some stability in their price while they might be recovering their losses if there is a huge amount of money being used by the users for lending purpose, on the outside it is a great move but i am skeptical on how they can guarantee 15% returns if they cannot have any guarantee that it wont be hacked again  Cheesy. I will never trust an exchange to hold my funds when i am not trading as we have N number of reference in a very short period of time and i am not willing to take any risk.

I'm very interested now because they are a big exchange with good number of traders and they are one of the exchanges I trust.
I am sure how you are evaluating trust here with the signature of livecoin you are wearing  Tongue. Big always does not mean they can be trusted, Mt. Gox is a prime example if you want reference.
3959  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: August 27, 2019, 12:45:40 PM
"I'd like to take this chance to apologise, to absolutely everybody" - Conor

So it looks like a heart felt message to me as well. Anyways maybe people misunderstood his antics specially on that occasion and then as a person he find time to realised that what he did is a total dick moved specially when he found out that it was recorded.
You do not need to be a genius to know that he punched an elderly person and that too for neglecting the offer Conor gave. The only thing he can do is to come out and save his public image and i expected this interview because the backlash he got after the video is published was damaging for his brand. It was not a heart felt message, it was a PR stunt because the incident took place a few months ago and only now the video is out for the public, so you can guess what the truth is  Grin.

I wish the senior citizen files a lawsuit and he wins a million dollars for his dick move. Cheesy
3960  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Amazon Cloud Outage Causing Major Issues at Some Crypto Exchanges on: August 26, 2019, 03:51:36 PM
That is just my assumption though, because I have never witnessed or experienced such thing before for me to know how it is being resolved, I think that it may likely affect the exchanges’ wallet, but I am sure before they get to remove it, the value would have been adjusted back to the real one.
From what i understand it is a software glitch and really bitcoin are not being sold by anyone but the system updates the balance and if the exchange do not identify the issue and the user withdraws the amount then there is nothing they can do, these events happened in the past and some users have filed a complaint because they were unable to withdraw the amount they held in their account. These are rare incidents though to happen and hopefully exchanges will sort these out completely.
