3961  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Quora Bengali is killing bitcoin on: January 15, 2022, 07:24:55 AM
Building people's opinions depends largely on the voice of the majority, for example, if the first comments (especially from famous people) are negative, you will find most of the responses below them are negative, and so on.
Some people criticize many things, the last of which is the issue of vaccination, but spreading awareness requires more time.

I remember that many years ago Bitcoin was associated with dark activities and the Ponzi model today most of the discussions are about it being a bad investment.
3962  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: crypto payment gateway with usdt on all protocols(trc20,bep20,erc20) on: January 15, 2022, 07:08:50 AM
https://payid19.com is new crypto payment gateway support usdt and bitcoin.
it supports usd tether on erc20, bep20 and trc20 chains.
%1 fee, no any hidden fee.
Many  crypto payment gateway provide the possibility to pay with stablecoins on more than one blockchain, and thus the focus on Bitcoin, one of the stable currencies, has not become as valuable as it was in the past.

The site is new and needs some confidence, but my question is about bitcoin, does it include a rule of "No withdrawal fees or Any hidden fees"?
Also, no Any hidden fees may be offset by changing the price of USDT to be .97 to .99
3963  Other / Meta / Re: Cybersecurity subforum on: January 15, 2022, 06:50:27 AM
Regardless of the nature of the board and its importance, unless there are enough topics and discussions about it, a new board will not be created.

In other words, if there are not many topics in the main menu, and there are many discussions about them, a subforum/board dedicated to them will not be created.

Let's take the Lightning Network as an actual example, although there are many topics and many discussions about them, no dedicated subforum/board has been created for them. Therefore, general terms such as "cybersecurity" will be impossible to create a dedicated board for it.
3964  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Tether is centralized, is it worth holding on: January 14, 2022, 10:49:37 AM
Tether is a central currency for a while, and they also failed to prove that they are a pegged currency, meaning every existing dollar equals a dollar from the company, so that all their assets are less than 4%.

As a normal user, I don't expect your account to be frozen, but they can.

If you are afraid, there are some alternatives:

 - USDC: It is centralized but better than Tether and is well listed in many exchanges.
 - DAI: Central currency but cannot be frozen and listed in some exchanges.
 - BUSD: many be better than Tether ?!
3965  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BlockChain and Bitcoin on: January 14, 2022, 10:07:59 AM
I recommend you to stay away from getting information from magazines, TV channels, Binance academy, paid topics, news bulletins, non-specialized forums, and telegram channels.
If you want to learn, books, Wikipedia and some good YouTube channels[1] are the starting point, but you should always ask questions and try to get convincing answers.

So according to Wiki:

A blockchain is a growing list of records, called blocks, that are linked together using cryptography.
Each block contains a cryptographic hash of the previous block, a timestamp, and transaction data (generally represented as a Merkle tree).

By reading sources above, you will find more information.

3966  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bank Of America Cuts Overdraft Fees, Eliminates Insufficient Funds Fees on: January 14, 2022, 09:40:33 AM
If people don't change their financial behavior, banks will find another way to give people more free money (a loan) which users will fail to repay.

I do not think that the reason is the competition of cryptos, but perhaps pressure from the political parties in the US administration, especially since the Biden administration is trying to win over some voters.

Banks will not enter into competition with cryptocurrencies soon, and therefore you will not need to worry about this.
3967  Economy / Exchanges / Re: [Oxchanger.com] Deposit Any Coin to forward Other Coin on: January 14, 2022, 09:25:49 AM
Hello
We worked hard. In our system, infrastructure improvements were made.
Now, pages have been added. Live support added. Tracking code page is being added. The Twitter communication path was activated.
The telephone support line will be activated soon.
Changing the site template and studying the addition of new coins and tokens is underway.

It is a mistake to launch your site and some policies are not present in it, this indicates:

 - Unprofessionalism: If the team is professional, they will try to do everything and make sure of it.
 - Budget issues: Limited developer team.
 - Future issues: I can't complain because you don't have terms of service and it will be easy to hack the platform because you don't have enough resources to check all the vulnerabilities.

All of these things will be used against you in the future so it is best to close the site until you are ready.
3968  Economy / Exchanges / Re: A KYC question on: January 14, 2022, 09:03:44 AM

Or use these services
https://changelly.com/
https://changenow.io/

But I tell everyone that this will not save you from KYC. If you carefully read the user agreement, then the exchange may request a KYC from you at any time.

These options are the worst and changelly & changenow are scammers and should be avoided at all cuz of:

 - Based on their TOS: changelly (changenow) ask for KYC[1] but they only do that when problems start to occur.
 - Selective scammers: There are many scam cases[2] [3] [4] against them.
 - They may blocked you because you use VPN service.
 - Hidden fees: The platform deducts hidden fees that may be different from what appears on the site.
 - They use a third party to conduct transactions.
 - Your transaction may be frozen for several hours and then you can make it at a different rate.

I can list more reasons, but in any case you should avoid changelly & changenow.

3969  Economy / Exchanges / Re: does anyone know the catex exchange team could get help on: January 14, 2022, 08:54:25 AM
Apart from the content of the topic, how long do the platforms keep your money and the data they collected about you after they are closed? I used to think they do it for a few months or a year and then the data gets deleted or loses X% of its value after every month.
In general, do not expect anything good because they do not have a reputation that they are afraid of losing and therefore it is better to contact the local authorities if you do not find an answer from them.
3970  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: P2P without KYC (high values) on: January 14, 2022, 08:29:39 AM
However, what is lower transaction fee? I don't understand that part. As I know, exchanges or Peer-to-peer exchanges will charge you fix trading fee which is in percent of your trade value. Your trade partners no matter they are newbies, VIP or trusted ones, don't affect transaction fee or trading fees of your trades with them.
When you gain the trust of a party you eliminate the need to pay third party fees and when you do more transactions with the same person the fees will be lower instead of trying to find a new trusted member.
For example, when you deal with a legendary member with moderate trust, you will initially need to use escrow (additional fees) and then they can make weekly transfers of medium amounts without being afraid of scam.

In addition, for example, in my country, when you receive a transfer from an unknown person and then receive a fixed amount of transfers every period, the bank rarely considers this activity suspicious, but when you make several transfers with unknown persons and from multiple countries, your account will be frozen and you will be asked for more fees to verify transactions.
3971  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Northwest Arkansas is offering $10k worth of ₿ and a bike to attract talent on: January 13, 2022, 11:19:15 AM
Is $10,000 good to start a life there?it's kinda good for those looking for a new experience, but the positive point is that Bitcoin is starting to be used as a currency that has value and not as a speculative asset, which is a good thing on the way to total adoption.

I see some kind of paradox as the bike symbolizes a clean environment but some mediums are trying to link Bitcoin with the destruction of the environment and the consumption of electricity in something worthless.
3972  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: P2P without KYC (high values) on: January 13, 2022, 11:01:25 AM
Peer-to-peer trading depends mainly on the number of traders and the method of trading. When you find a reliable person, the transaction will be faster and the fees will be lower, and the platform will provide the necessary guarantee to complete the process smoothly, but again without mentioning your country and payments method, members’ experiences will not help you much.

I have a bad experience with a member from Localcryptos.com, the positive side is that I was not scammed and the other party dealt well with me, but I lost some money as fees and I could not complete the process due to the restrictions of the third party imposed by banking services.

So keep in mind that some of these people's bank accounts may have some red lines in your country (because they do a lot of transfers)

Generally, as I mentioned above, the experience will differ from one user to another, but it is better to start with amounts less than 1,000 until you master enough experience.
3973  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Want To Ask - Crypto Arbitrage Scanner on: January 13, 2022, 10:35:17 AM
You can get data from some sites like ----> http://cryptowat.ch/ that offer trading pairs such as between Bitcoin/Altcoins pairs[1] and then compare the prices to choose the buying and selling service, but I think you have to do it manually.

You can pay a developer to create a bot on Telegram and get notifications based on that, but I see that the arbitrage benefit has become small, especially since the price of Bitcoin is currently unstable and therefore you may lose part of your money/earnings.

Finally, the levels of liquidity determine the amount of risk and often the price differences between platforms with high liquidity are low.

Generally there are many options for buying bitcoin and definitely buying from an anonymous person/website is not one of them.
3975  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: BitPay is slowly dying? on: January 13, 2022, 09:50:06 AM
Payment processors like BitPay is preferred by governments as they have all the data and they keep collecting more information so such services will not die because of the information they collect but users will find better options.

I also think that if services such as Visa or PayPal add an option to pay in bitcoin directly without verifying identity or creating an account, then we will not need services like Bitpay and we will rely on open source applications for those who do not want to pay to a third party.

KYC for all users has made them lose some popularity and might make sense if they were as powerful as Binance.
3976  Other / Meta / Re: Official Bitcointalk NFTs that can be used as avatars? on: January 13, 2022, 09:25:03 AM
AFAIK, the intellectual property rights of literary texts belong to individuals and not to the sites on which they are published, meaning that the user (for example, Laszlo Hanyecz) can sell his bitcoin pizza topic (just as happened with Jack and the first tweet), but @theymos cannot do it.
Thus the word "official" has no value because the site administrator cannot sell this data as NFTs.

If you mean something like Introducing NFTs for forum members then read that topic.

3977  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Don't panicked if bitcoin illegal in your country. on: January 13, 2022, 08:56:06 AM
Violating the law is a crime, regardless of your position of that law, and therefore if the government bans Bitcoin in your country, you are legally prohibited from using those currencies.

Sometimes the government does not have a comprehensive control of cryptocurrencies, but this does not mean that it is a permission to use them, especially if a problem occurs and it is discovered that you have Bitcoins.

Perhaps the best scenario would be buying and storing until it becomes legal, or traveling to another country and selling it and returning to the original country with legal currency.
3978  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Underrated Trading resources on: January 12, 2022, 12:42:13 PM
Thanks for sharing the educational resources above, bookmarked it and will review it later, but personally I do the following:

 - Avoid any paid channel that gives recommendations or tries to analyze the current market situation.
 - Avoid any channel aims for views: they will give the market what it wants, if it is optimistic you will get positive videos.
 - Avoid any channel that has a link on Telegram or asks users to join a group.
 - Avoid any channel that says its recommendations are accurate or that it has never been wrong.
 - Avoid any channel that brings in people who say they "succeeded in predicting XXX craunch".

If the educational media does not contain the things above then by looking at the content you can choose whether to watch or avoid them.
3979  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: LooksRare NFT marketplace token is pumping on: January 12, 2022, 12:23:42 PM
Pumping and dumping is not the only problem, but rather the continuity of liquidity, gas fees, market decentralization, service regulations and continuous development.

In the end, you need a market that provides enough liquidity and people's interest, manages NFTs and you get many options available for withdrawal.

I do not want to be disappointed, but Opensea does not excel in trading volumes, but for many reasons, and therefore competitors must provide reasonable liquidity in addition to integrating multiple blockchains, effective gas management, decentralization and others.
3980  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Should There Be A Metaverse Constitution? on: January 12, 2022, 12:09:41 PM
The concepts contained in the metaverse are an additional layer above the social network based entirely on 3D modelling and therefore will work on central servers, which in turn will be subject to some service regulations, just as in social media.

Some centralized portals can be connected, and then whoever has the ability to manage these resources will set the laws, and then it is like the Internet.

It is not fully decentralized, but rather distributed so that each country sets certain conditions for metaverses, and companies in certain countries may create their own metaverses.
