Because the SEC is another extension of the government and many already do not trust the government already. Many private investors are not really concerned about whatever the SEC has against XRP. So far transactions with XRP is fast and transaction fee fairly affordable, who wouldn't want that?

Well I originally had a plan where I was going to save up 4,000.00 USD as "money that I would use to invest in crypto that is also money I can afford to lose". That way I can invest in a big way and it's not the end of the world for me if I fail and lose it all. I spent months researching what crypto was, how it works, asking a gazillion questions on this forum, etc.
But when I finally had 2,000.00 USD saved up, I decided to not wait till I have 4,000.00 to start investing and I've been scalp trading for the last few days with dogecoin.
Just a few minutes ago, I took the 2,000.00 USD that I spent investing and withdrew it and put it back into my bank account. The money I now have in my portfolio on binance.us is now the profit that I'm trading with. ....and my balance is 2,782.87. Yes, that's right. I made 2,782.87 in just a few days by scalp trading on dogecoin! My original 2,000.00 dollars is back in my bank account (well, I have to wait 2 business days before it's OFFICIALLY back in my bank account because of the proccessing time I have to wait)....and now I'm just using my profits to trade with.
This is awesome! Just wanted to post this here and say thank you to everybody who answered my gazillion rookie trader questions. I put the stuff I learned on my own and stuff I learned in this forum to good use! WOOT

A common idealogy behind bitcoin is that many now see it as a get rich scheme and a means to invest your money long term, although it has been beneficial to everyone in their own terms, I believe the original ideology behind the creation of bitcoin was for the simple purpose of giving freedom to people in different locations to get money across to themselves without interference and tampering from the government.

Long time hodlers really are those who enjoy the real beauty of cryptocurrency indeed. Long term hodling has turned many who never envisaged themselves as millionaires into millionaires. A very good example is the case of the Winklevoss twins who were crazy enough to buy $10m worth of btc when it was $8 and were able to hodl through the good and bad times till it got better. Today they are billionaires and are reaping the fruits of long term hodling.

Regardless of the fact that they had to be rich to have $10m to gamble with as at 2012 (that is buy an asset they were not sure of), they are true visionaries and the true definition of investors and they have to be applauded for that. Many during that period who were exposed to information and had same opportunity as the twins, maybe even in a better financial position did not consider it an option to invest so much as $10m into.
The risk takers in society, are really the ones that make it big. Sometimes playing safe and thinking through investment opportunities is wise, but when one plays it too safe and overthinks some investment opportunities, he or she may never make it big.

Man Utd today showed a lot of team spirit and team work, they dominated possession and showed that they really wanted the win and it was evident in that Fred's second goal for the club. Pogba was particularly instrumental in that midfield area and deserves a thumbs up for his performance. Cavani as well has been fire this season and is really doing wonders and scoring goals with that his head.
I really hope Man Utd can sustain this form till the end of the season, they might just win the league.

They are going to enhanced every good news so they can further pump Ripple's price. the news although positive did not guaranty that Ripple is winning the case, it is still up in the air and this is going to be a long battle that will take months and expect a lot of dip and pumps for every news that comes along the way.
In my opinion, XRP is good to buy if you have the money to gamble.This is a big week for XRP because this new ATH is the highest it has been in 3 years. The increment hodlers of XRP are enjoying now is as a result of the few key cases they have won against the SEC. Elon musk's announcement that Tesla will start accepting payment in cryptocurrency was blown all over the media, making it seem like they were the first to many and to me to do such. This is probably because the company's CEO (that is Elon Musk) is one who is known to be very influential and a futurist with a very large fan base. Another reason to consider as well is that in 2015, twitter (the chief hype media responsible for many markets shift like we see) did not have as much users as it has now. If it did, maybe a tweet from their official Twitter handle would have went viral.
Another very interesting reason to consider why this information was not widespread is that in 2015, many were not conversant with the term cryptocurrency, there was little acceptance and adoption, hence many were uninterested unlike now when the percentage of people with crypto currency knowledge has greatly increased.
