Im just hoping when Bitcoin starts becoming more mainstream the concept of "becoming your own bank" arises and starts making banking as we know it effectively obsolete. Once we can store everything we need at home and all over the internet safely and decentralized, then who the hell is going to handle their stuff to others? I guess there will always be people that want that but a big % of people don't want to, but they don't know any better.

This is NOT the Coinbase that operates www.coinbase.com. This is at best a Ponzi scam that is using the coinbase name and email spam to trick foolish greedy people into giving away their bitcoins. More than likely, it's just a straight up send us your bitcoins so we can immediately disappear with them scam, and not even a ponzi. Thanks for clarification. Before I ended reading I was already thinking "obvious ponzi is obvious" and hoping it wasn't a legitimate Coinbase offer, since as far as I know I respect that brand a lot.

Nice idea. You need moderation tho, in case some trolls take the site with stupid answers/questions. Also, unless im doing something wrong, it didn't properly load on my phone (Android with default browser). Can you make a mobile version? for old ass phones like mine would help.

I don't know where do you live but I don't think 1.2m$ is enough for retirement in anywhere. I would wait for at least 10 millions.
1M is enough to retire in Medellin, Colombia 1 million is enough, i dont know what kinda lives you guys live, its only not enough if you become completely unproductive and sit a on a beach, i guess that could be the definition of retire but i'll never do nothing, being productive is too much fun, even if that means growing your own food. Being productive is usually working in something you don't like. Leissure time is fun and is not "doing nothing" by definition.

do you save a screenshot of every prediction so people can not change it afterwards?
i think it will be $650
In the original post he said that you can "edit your post until june 1" which is kinda pointless since a day earlier everyone will edit the post. But any way my prediction is going to be 1192.25 USD

One of the main reasons or positive points for a transparent public blockchain is double spending. In case something goes wrong it can be seen with blockchain.info, im not sure how that would work if it happens, let alone if it happens in a obscured blockchain like XMR tho.

I would donate some BTCs to the man, unfortunately im as broke as ever so I can't donate to literally anything that isn't paying my own bills and food.

2013: - Largest exchanges getting "hacked" (Mtgox) - Largest Bitcoin mining companies scamming users (BFL) - Online black markets scamming users, losing money, and getting shut down (Silk Road)
2015: -The largest exchanges are still getting hacked (Bitstamp, Bter) -Largest Bitcoin mining companies scamming users (ASICMiner) -Online black markets scamming users, losing money, and getting shut down in the same exact fucking way (SR 2, Evolution)
Still no multi-sig in use. Still no use of decentralized platforms like Mycelium Trader and Open Transactions. Is this still 2013? We're walking into the same wall over and over and we don't know how to get past it. Are we praying for Ben Lawsky's Bitlicense (which seems to be dragging on into eternity) to come save us? Are we waiting for Satoshi to come back and say "Guys, cloud mining is bullshit. What are you doing?" I look at coinmarketcap.com and there's a blatant scam (Paycoin) in the top 10.
How do we get past the year 2013?
Lol we are way past 2013, do you even check the news? ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=http%3A%2F%2Fbtcfeed.net%2Fwp-content%2Fuploads%2F2015%2F03%2Fbitcoinq4141.jpg&t=663&c=DYWVpClwWhZNXw)

I imagine the chances of it making you a millionaire is quite high, at some POINT before 2020. But it might fluctuate a lot still, and perhaps you won't remain a millionaire.
In fact, I believe that if you trade smartly (luckily) you can probably become a multi-millionaire (maybe even a low-decamillionaire) by 2020.
True, chances are we'll have peaks of really super high prices.. but who has the balls to sell? you may percieve it as the top, but maybe its the tip of the iceberg and you sell at 10K when it was going 20K so to speak.

Well, the community is still quite small. I can easily imagine that people just loose interest, one after the other. And if the community shrinks quickly, many people will sell because they are afraid the experiment is over. At that point, it can not be stopped..
Pure speculation, though..
There's exciting stuff happening daily and VC capital is only going higher. Unless you are one of the braindead guys that only stare at bitcoinwisdom.com 24/7 chances are you'll not get bored of riding this one.

Looks like we can ignore just about anyone stating they own more than 1 million bitcoins. Perhaps the remaining numbers are more accurate in that the liars may tend to enjoy the opportunity to exaggerate.
Agreed. Most people own 0-10 coins 0-5 id say 0-1 is more like it. Yeah, most people are still trying to reach the "I just made an entire BTC" milestone moment. Even tho a lot of people at least have 1 and something.

Bitcoins are confiscated due to a failure to comprehend the importance of secure bitcoin storage.
A plain text paper cold storage wallet is not enough I'm afraid.
I recommend M of N wallet pieces stored in multiple physical locations.
This, why is it so difficult? even if you encrypt the wallet itself within bitcoin qt it should be enough to block it, unless the feds can force you to say the pass which i have no idea how all of that works.

Bitcoin day? Yay ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) Wait why 15 April theres something big? Some guy in here did an excellent market analysis on the all time chart and it all pointed in about half april for something to happen, in other words to either break or start a rally. Other than that I have no idea.
|
|

It's no longer April's 1st. Funny though. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) April fools runs all the way through april as far as I know. You can't fool blockchain.info tho, unless satoshi himself found a way to trick us lol.

Let's put it this way right: If by 2020 you aren't near a millonaire, something wrong happened. If by 2025 you aren't a confirmed millonaire, civilization collapsed.

It is almost impossible for money to crash (During a crisis, everyone is looking for money), and USD is obviously regarded as the most stable form of money. However, if many powerful people are getting tired by being robbed by FED, they might start some action, a currency war might be the first step It can crash, but its the last to go. USD is still the world currency reserve, it's still the king. Sort of like the Bitcoin of fiats.

I would avoid paypal unless you are on a hurry, then you could go Virwox (FIAT->SSL->BTC route) but like has been said before, fees are a bit of a joke.

Your opinions and thoughts as to whether girls should use Bitcoin on webcam sites:
Like twister said chaturbate has bitcoin option, I dont view cams but I know enough about them to know a lot run on currency like credits, you buy then give then sell credits. Girls wont actually recive bitcoin however the viewers can buy credits with it HAD this option.. I don't know exactly but they ran into some issues. Tokens/credits does seems to be model though. I don't get why these cams sites removed bitcoin if thats what you are saying? it seems like a perfect couple, instant money transactions anonymously... if I was a girl and a good looking one I would know what to do to get really easy money from home, but I would be too paranoid to do it if it wasn't under bitcoin.

Like you said its only intelligent people that get into Bitcoin now because they get it, just like in the early days only intelligent people understood the power of the internet. Let those dumb fucks adapt. It will take 10 years or so, enjoy the ride.
