Ronaldo isn't expected to play against Chelsea. He is really an unwanted player for Erik ten Hag right now seemingly. Ronaldo must also be fed up with these choices and he would like to leave the team as soon as possible without doubt. We will see if he will be able to find a team in January.
As for this big game, it feels like Chelsea can win here. Graham Potter is managing the team really nicely in the Premier League now. They haven't lost any game for many weeks and got only one draw. Manchester United have been successful in big games so far maybe but all of them were in Old Trafford. I think they might fail in Stamford Bridge also just as it happened in Etihad. I'm going to bet on Chelsea win @2.12.

Milan are rumoured to be interested in the 21-year-old Chelsea striker Armando Broja these days. However I don't think that Chelsea would be eager to let him go easily for now. Because he has been a part of the lineup since the beginning of the season. As they want to get efficiency from all of their strikers these days it is difficult to expect them to give up on one of their strikers.
He is believed to have a good future also so Chelsea would like to keep him until he reaches his potential. He is still very young of course and he doesn't have impressive stats for now.

New week in the league is starting with an Ajaccio - PSG game today.
They are going to face each other after an eight-year break in the league. Ajaccio are one of the worst teams of the league at the moment. They surprised everyone by winning against Marseille in an away game recently. PSG had better be careful for an unexpected result. However I don't give that chance to Ajaccio at all this time. These things against the biggest teams of a league don't happen very often. I just expect PSG to defeat them by at least two goals.

Arsenal made me worried for a long time as I bet on their win. I was feeling really confident about the win before it started. After seeing that Arsenal was dominating the game completely I was even more relieved about my bet. But the goal was scored by Xhaka really late in the game. Getting stuck at only one goal was really worrying as well but thankfully they didn't give PSV much chance. PSV were really like they weren't on the field today. It was like they accepted the defeat too easily.
Maybe it was due to being comfortable in the group already. We would see their real strength in the next game maybe. It doesn't feel like Arsenal will lose there but maybe it might end in a draw this time.

Barcelona had a very productive day after the really bad loss against Real Madrid. They have improved their performance quite a lot against Villarreal. After dominating the game completely they got an easy 3-0 win in Camp Nou. Villarreal are normally a durable team but things haven't been going on well for them recently. Missing players must have been a big factor in this.
Anyway Barcelona should be able to continue from where they left from now on. Lewandowski was very impressive with two goals. It looks like the Fati choice was right for them as well considering his performance.

Leicester got their second win in the season against Leeds today. This was another important victory to help them improve their form actually. But it is really difficult to make sure of anything now. The Nottingham win didn't help them do so and this might be the same as well.
The next opponent is Wolves. They are in a very similar condition with Leicester now. Maybe the game is in their stadium but I still think that Leicester might be able to use this chance and win. There is some progress with their defense lately and they can maintain it against Wolves as well.

Barcelona - Villarreal is an interesting game tonight.
Barcelona lost a game finally after many weeks. The El Clasico loss might affect them badly maybe but I still expect them to improve their performance against Villarreal. Villarreal are still struggling with injuries and this will make things even more difficult for them here. Barcelona need to win to prevent the point gap with Real Madrid from increasing more. They lost to Villarreal in Camp Nou in their last head-to-head game. But I expect Barcelona to make up for that by getting a win. I've added their win @1.46 to my betslip.

Arsenal have a quite low odd like 1.55 maybe but I'm still expecting a very competitive game today.
PSV are also having a great season in their league and here both just as Arsenal. But playing in Emirates makes things really difficult for them. Arsenal are caring about the Europa League also now and they are keeping a good balance between this tournament and the Premier League. Arsenal would have a starting eleven close to the one in the Premier League I assume. Then I think Arsenal will manage to win this by a solid performance.

Ronaldo might really leave the team earlier than the expectations. Erik ten Hag is still doing the same thing to him. Ronaldo didn't even enter the game against Tottenham which was another big game for the Red Devils. Ronaldo must be closing to be out of patience now. He doesn't get much chance in the Premier League. Being in the starting eleven of the Europa League games isn't enough for him of course.
There are rumours like he might join Chelsea for now but we will see. Aubameyang hasn't played in many games in the league yet so they would like to observe his performance first then decide.

Salah, Firmino and Nunez who in this match they had good chances to score but only 1 was able to score a goal, and I don't think they are unity yet, Nunez's goal being his first at Anfield https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/63224216Nunez was very impressive in this game for sure. He was very eager to score goals in this game and his performance level was quite acceptable. He could have even made a hat-trick if he didn't waste some other big opportunities as well. He is normally a right-footed striker but he was really great with his left foot also. He had a shot which bounced off the goal post. He just needs to be consistent about this performance. Liverpool need him to be very active and productive at the same time. Firmino wasn't very active in this one but he still found two crucial goal chances which he wasted. But this doesn't change the fact that he's been having a great season so far. |

Real Sociedad are still on a great winning streak and it has reached five games now.
They could have lost points against Mallorca actually. Real Sociedad were in full control in the first half but things changed in the other half. Real Sociedad were like they were focused on keeping the 1-0 advantage until the final whistle. This helped Mallorca a lot to fight for the equalizer. The last minutes were really worrying for Real Sociedad but they must be grateful for their goalkeeper especially. Because he made a very critical save which helped them win by 1-0.
Real Madrid also had a solid day as expected. Elche had no chance against them and the final result was a proof for that. Real Madrid had three goals disallowed due to offside as well so the score would have been even worse for Elche.

Liverpool are continuing to rise as they have got another win against West Ham this time. It was another 1-0 victory maybe but these wins are important for them to continue recovering. It looks like their defending is much better these days as they didn't concede any goal in their last two league games. But they need to be able to score multiple goals in a game to get more comfortable wins. West Ham could have really got one point here if they didn't miss that penalty.
But in time I believe that Liverpool will get better at winning games more comfortably. They should be able to finish the season in top 3 even if they don't make it to the title.

Roma couldn't defeat Napoli in their last two head-to-head games. Of course there is a difference now as Roma have improved their performance quite much by this season. There isn't a big gap between these teams in the standings as well.
Napoli are still one step ahead by their impressive performance so far. Bookmakers also favour them by a slight odd difference. But I don't trust any side to bet on for now. Instead I'm thinking of betting on both teams to score which seems more likely to happen. If I bet on the result of this game then my choice would be a draw I guess.

Bayern Munich have an away game against Hoffenheim three days later and their opponent is not much different than Freiburg as well.
I mean that their position in the standings is also quite high which is 4th. However Bayern Munich couldn't beat Hoffenheim in this stadium for two times recently. As Hoffenheim are having a good season now Bayern Munich might not be very comfortable as much as in the Freiburg game. I just see both teams to score as the best option to go with for this one @1.45. Bayern Munich still have weaknesses in offense so Hoffenheim would be able to score at least one goal here. Bayern Munich shouldn't have much problem on scoring with the help of the momentum they got from the Freiburg game.

Real Madrid have quite a tight schedule these days. Because they are playing against Elche away after a two-day break. And their next game after this one is going to be against Sevilla by a two-day break again.
However I still think that this won't be a problem for them tonight. Elche are literally the worst team of the season so far as they are at the last position. They still have no win in the league. I don't think that they can hold Real Madrid off much in this game also. Real Madrid players must be very motivated after defeating Barcelona in Bernabeu as well. I don't expect any mistakes before a tougher game against Sevilla. They had an odd like 1.30 when I made bets so it wasn't good for a single bet of course. But I see it as a reliable choice for a multi.

The new week in the league is going to start with a Juventus - Empoli game two days later.
This is another important game for Juventus to continue improving their performance and form. They managed to defeat Torino last week but it was a very challenging game for them at the same time. Torino also had many chances but Juventus were lucky not to concede a goal. I hope they have learned their lesson from that and they will get prepared better for this game. Empoli are at a similar level with Torino in the standings now. Juventus should be able to win this and I trusted them with my bet as well.

Liverpool are playing a home game against West Ham today and this is an opportunity to maintain a winning streak at the same time.
I really liked Liverpool's performance in the Manchester City game and it made me hopeful about their recovery. But they need to continue to win to prove this. West Ham are one of the disappointing teams of the season so far. They are far away from their last season performance. However Liverpool still had better be careful because West Ham got two wins recently and didn't lose for three weeks. Maybe this could be a sign of a recovery for them as well. But despite that, I still believe in Liverpool to defeat them tonight.

Villarreal have finally put an end to their poor form by defeating Osasuna 2-0 home. Danjuma was the hero in this game by scoring both goals. These were his first goals of the season as well so Osasuna were quite unlucky about that. Actually the game wasn't one-sided for Villarreal but they still managed to get this nice win. I couldn't believe in Villarreal to win this game and preferred both teams to score for betting. I wish I bet on Villarreal.  Osasuna were just clumsy about finding the target mostly. They weren't having much difficulty in scoring on the recent weeks actually but they couldn't this time. |

Roma are one of the teams going forward on the recent weeks. They have improved their form a lot recently. We see them at the 4th position in the standings being only 4 points away from the leader. I really appreciate their pulling themselves together this much quick after having a bad time period for some time. They have scored only 13 goals in 10 games maybe but it is really magical that they still find themselves in top 4.
Roma's target is to finish the season in top 4 and they need to keep up this performance as long as possible to pull away from the teams below.

Manchester United disappointed their fans a lot as well. I was waiting for them to win even if they had a big difficulty in doing so. Because Newcastle were one of the toughest opponents of the season for them. There wasn't a big gap between them in the standings.
However I still trusted Manchester United to get another win after the win over Everton. They had really crucial opportunities in the game especially in the last minutes. But they wasted both of them which caused the game to end in a draw by 0-0. The team still can't find their rhythm in the league fully.
I was not for once angry over the kind of players used especially with the Introduction of Fred in midfied to replace Erikson, he didn't link up well with Bruno Fernandez and also with all other attacking players and winger's. After the first half, Erik Ten Hag should have substituted the Brazilian for me though and could have even brought in one of those youngins. Now getting to the second half of the match, Ten Hag made a wrong substitution, by bringing Rashford on for Cristiano Ronaldo, if you look at the game Sancho wasn't really part of it as he should have been substituted, and since Ronaldo served as a number, that through Ball from Rashford to Fread would have been converted if it was Ronaldo. Fans where expectant of a goal but that didn't come as planned. Don't you think they will either loss to Tottenham Hotspur or end up playing full time draw with the score been leveled. About the Tottenham game I think that it is going to be even more challenging for them obviously. I know that Manchester United defeated Arsenal and Liverpool in Old Trafford before. But this doesn't mean that they can do the same against Tottenham as well. After losing two points two weeks in a row they might not be able to stay strong especially in offense. There is a big improvement in their defense recently but Tottenham attackers can still be deadly for them. They need to be extra careful in defense as a result. It feels like the game might end in a draw and both teams would score. |
