3961  Economy / Economics / Re: Out of Reach on: January 01, 2021, 03:51:10 AM
Not that as you think. No longer our concern if time after time the price hikes and an average joe cannot avail to have 1 whole bitcoin. It is divisible into many decimals and they can still buy it based from the amount that's available on them.

The price has surged a lot and it is still recommended to continuously accumulate through dollar cost averaging. A person that wants his hands and has a goal to have bitcoin, he'll do it consistently.
3962  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: $188 million worth of BTC to unknown address from unknown on: January 01, 2021, 02:49:40 AM
Another whale that just moved a wallet from his other wallet, I guess or the one that you have said that another OTC tx made by an institution. We will never know. This year has started very well @ $29,000. There is still no sign of it going down or we're not going to see $20,000 below prices again. If it does, the chance is little.

Happy new year too and keep hodling!
3963  Economy / Economics / Re: NFL Player Salary Paid in Bitcoin on: December 31, 2020, 03:51:18 PM
AFAIK he's going to be paid in half based on the other article that I've seen a few days ago.

Panthers, NFL shoot down report that Russell Okung is getting half his $13M salary paid in bitcoins

It is a huge amount if he's going to be paid in bitcoin. It's a wise decision as if he's playing and getting paid with an investment. Other athletes might do what he did with their contracts.
3964  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Having trouble verifying account on Coinbase on: December 31, 2020, 11:53:11 AM
A day has passed, are they still reviewing it? They haven't given a timeframe for how long the review shall take. Just like your suspicion, they could probably be preparing for the holiday and there's only a few staff that are on duty.

Better consider the alternatives given above, because I have been waiting for more than a year to get my verification done and access the funds left in my vault. Roll Eyes
more of a year? that's real patience.

3965  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: No 2FA and robbed of 0.097BTC on: December 31, 2020, 10:38:04 AM
Sorry about that loss. Activating 2FA is very important and that message from Gabriel is a fact, scammers are cancer, and can you remember if you ever got into a website which you have the same login details as bitsler's?

Maybe you've bumped into a website that you have the same login details and that guy is following or tracing you through your email? I didn't know or you've got into a phishing website. Sort of something like that happened to you that's why the hacker/scammer stole your deposit.

A very expensive lesson with the surge of bitcoin that 0.097BTC is worth $2818 @ $29052.
3966  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The "rat poison" is worth more than Buffett's company on: December 31, 2020, 09:20:13 AM
I do hope that someday he would realize that he has to adopt the technology and it is an inevitable innovation for which his company might take the benefits and advantage of it once, he initiates to adopt it.

It's a good rebut from his own words with that particular portrayal which is the rat and which is the poison. And someday, the price of bitcoin will be at par or more than the price of his BH stock.
3967  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: looking for good business parners coin developer and exchngers on: December 31, 2020, 08:14:06 AM
But anyway, OP what's with this project now? did it push or not?

Check out his other project.  I don't know why he is stopping at mere billions.   Wink
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5290478.0
Thank you.

I've read the idea of OP and I can say that this was such an ambitious project. It's literally printing money out of thin air. Maybe he got the idea on the stimulus money.

No even capital to start to pay for someone who would like to work for it.
3968  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: looking for good business parners coin developer and exchngers on: December 30, 2020, 07:10:08 PM
the exchange platform is a profit project, so you need a developer team, a future vision, and a lot of details that you do not seem to achieve due to how you write this topic.
And not mentioning the entire security that it has to have. It's the most important matter in building an exchange platform. Because having not such will lead to a huge loss in their entire fund or storage which will be used by their platform.

It would also be great if they can maintain the developers for it. But anyway, OP what's with this project now? did it push or not?
3969  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Price of a new token in USD and USDT is different on: December 30, 2020, 06:07:48 PM
No answer?
That's weird for me if it happened on the same exchange. And if it did happen at two different timeframes, only Binance can give an answer to why they did something like that. But the clue that we can have is about the demand when they've listed it.

In which pair you did trade? did you manage to earn when it's been listed for the first time with those pairs?
3970  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennessee Sports book amazing first month revenue. on: December 30, 2020, 04:57:10 PM
No idea which state could come close to that record and has the potential. What if the money injection has contributed to this? we'll know in the future if the pandemic has been gone or lowered which will make the lives go back to normal.

If the record is still the same and they're generating the same or close to this record, then it means that they're becoming a sports betting hotspot. But if the records become low then the helicopter money and the pandemic has something to do with it.
3971  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: blockchain lost email adress on: December 30, 2020, 01:19:08 PM
Can you login using the wallet id and password?
Even if he can, blockchain.com has already made it a requirement for 2FA-email verification per login.

@OP we couldn't that much in here. You're the only one to solve it by remembering the email. Even if your wallet ID/login details and passwords are right but if you can't access the email's 2FA, you cannot bypass the login.

But blockchain support isn't known to put any extra effort into helping people...
I did email them before and luckily helped me by giving suggestions with the bugs that I've reported to them.
3972  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin climbs the price level to 27k, what do we expect next? on: December 30, 2020, 11:53:00 AM
Just today, it's peak was $28,500. The next expectation would likely to see it correct just as you say OP. And it's been happening but not going down that much as low as $21k which was the lowest that we've seen after it has reached the new ATH.

Some are still not yet convinced that this is all about bitcoin's natural growth. Because they're doubtful that it's still the same bubble that we get.  If there will be corrections after it has hit $27k-$28k. That would be fine if it's still supporting $20k.
3973  Economy / Economics / Re: Second lockdown due to covid19 is painful on: December 29, 2020, 02:21:11 PM
The new series of lockdowns are inevitable. With the new version or strain of the virus, the governments has to do something to lessen the transmission and avoid another huge wave and increase of active cases. And there will be also travel bans from those countries that has the new variant of the virus.

3974  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How much btc do you need to secure your future? on: December 29, 2020, 01:02:29 PM
From those countries, more than 10 would be the ideal for them. The more bitcoin's that they hold and accumulate overtime, the better and more secure future that they have. But what if after 10 years bitcoin's price got into half to a million dollars?

Then obtaining 1 bitcoin as always been suggested would be good. But if you can acquire as much as you can for retirement, do yourself a favor.
That half a million-dollar amount of bitcoin would make many of us so happy. If that's the case, then having 1 btc is more than enough especially when converted to our currency. But considering the current situation having 10 I guess would make my life secure and my future family. I'm still on my way to reaching 1 btc but those little I have allows me to survive every day. Not in a rush tho.
Definitely it will.

It's an entire retirement fund for most of us and if you have ever saved a lot including establishing business for continuous source of income, that would make your life live well.

Just accumulate an entire 1 whole bitcoin if you can and if you can do more and can continue the accumulation, much better.
3975  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Today's info to the World from India - Bitcoin on: December 29, 2020, 10:59:47 AM
18% is a lot of money just for trading, to be honest Indian government needs to take a firm stance on banning or regulating cryptocurrency before imposing taxes.
Just as I'm thinking. I've remembered the issue towards RBI imposing ban and then we get to see an article that they'll be imposing tax on crypto trades.

18% isn't welcoming for the taxation. But does the crypto people of India can do anything with that? none.
3976  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: prediction betting platform pros and cons? on: December 29, 2020, 09:54:21 AM
His term is about to end and that's what the bookies are waiting for before the funds to be released. Just for the official inauguration for Biden. Yeah, I agree to you that they should add some terms towards holding and waiting for the official winner to be proclaimed so that the bettors who supposed to receive their winnings shouldn't worry and doubt it.

The next time, I'm sure some bookies will make an adjustment or modifications to the terms related to election betting events. They will charge this event to their experience.

It's just that, the recent Presidential election associated with lots of issues so it's ended up with some problems or delay settling some bets.

But honestly, I don't know, even one of those bookies, that still not settling the bet till now.
That's for sure, if there's some important events that are like this, they will create a term that won't require them a lot of time to wait which is going to be in favor of them and as well as their bettors. It is nice that they've experience something like this to avoid it in the future as a lesson learn.

The bookies don't want to have trouble just in case they're about to send the winners their money. It's an issue that's understandable for both sides, in the side of casino that don't want to release any amount and makes it pending due to its situation.

While on the bettors who have won and bet for Biden, it's also understandable that they're already a winner and deserves the win that they should receive. It's just only a matter of a few more days/weeks until there's an official turnover in the white house.

It makes sense. They just want to wait until Biden is now sitting on that High-Class Chair before settling all bets.

Since it's just a matter of only a few weeks before the inauguration, then parties should just wait.

Different story now if even after Biden officially claimed the office, there's still a pending bet although unlikely to happen.
If there would be bookies that won't release the bettors payout after the official announcement and inauguration then it's them that has the problem.

3978  Economy / Speculation / Re: Which token do you advise me to invest? on: December 28, 2020, 05:23:07 PM
That's a lot of money to say. But if you have no idea which project you are investing better not do it with a guess. I wouldn't invest to crypto projects that I have no idea with that money.

I'd be better investing that in bitcoin. Although the price is at an all-time high, there's a chance that it will be breaking it by 2021. You looking for crypto with great potential? then that's bitcoin.
3979  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: prediction betting platform pros and cons? on: December 28, 2020, 12:10:34 PM

Anything may happen as days goes by so Casino's are just taking the precaution ,and besides Holding the Funds has 2 Meaning ,Either the Casino is trying to Scam the Winner (things that we commonly read here in forum) or The casino only protecting their Name and also the gamblers.
I don't think that they will scam. Some known bookies who have held the funds of the winners with a certain bet like the US election, just trying to be sure with their step before releasing it. They won't put a stain on their reputation and name just because of it.

While on the bettors who have won and bet for Biden, it's also understandable that they're already a winner and deserves the win that they should receive. It's just only a matter of a few more days/weeks until there's an official turnover in the white house.
The Problem here is the legality ,because technically Biden already Won the Election but the problem is Trump is Still the president  and admit it or not he still has the power before handing the presidency to biden.

Maybe this will serve as lesson and warning to the next election ,and this will be included in the terms before accepting bets ,as there are so many issue coming out because of this uncertainties .

Good thing that Case like this happens in our generation so the Coming Election will be having deals and rules for the benefits of all.
3980  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: checking Ledger Nano S BTC balance on blockchain on: December 28, 2020, 10:33:49 AM
Ledger Live shows the total holdings you have including bitcoin and altcoins that you have stored there. Does your Nano S only contain bitcoin? if there are some other altcoins that have value then it would sum up to the current bitcoin you have and that's why it's not tallying with the balance you're viewing on the network through blockcypher.

I have also noticed that the total balance doesn't show the exact amount when it's still loading up some of the assets that you have until it finally shows up the value of the balance you have for other cryptos. But this is only if you have other cryptos.

And if it's only bitcoin that you have, as you can see below at the "latest operations" it is displaying the amount of bitcoin in USD on the left side during the time you've received/sent it and it won't change even if the price is entirely different in the current time.
