3981  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin will replace oil and Gold on: October 22, 2020, 03:49:01 PM
Growth of bitcoin is tremendous, for the same we can't expect the natural resources be replaced by technology assets. Gold and oil has been serving as the revenue generator for more countries. The dependence level on oil and gold in economic development is very big in comparison to bitcoin.

Maybe in the future situation can change when more number of people prefer cryptocurrency for day to day needs. Maybe as bitcoin is co-existing with banking and large network firms we can expect mutual growth than replacement.
3982  Economy / Reputation / Re: [Interviews] with Bitcointalk members on: October 22, 2020, 02:11:27 AM
Hello.
I want to interview you. I hope for your consent.

Questions:

1. When and why did you become interested in cryptocurrencies?

During the year 2014 got much interested into cryptocurrency. This happened surfing through internet.

2. When and why did you buy your first bitcoin?

On an article read about the assured growth of bitcoin to happen in the starting years. When I bought it was around $300

3. How did you get on the forum?

The continued search and the spending to buy made me try earning. Finally got landed on our forum.

4.1. What prevents mass adoption of cryptocurrencies?

Lack of knowledge and the true reason behind the innovation/lack of support from governments. Mass adoption is taking place in specific regions where the local currency is under inflation. As they're supposed to carry large currencies people prefer using cryptocurrencies. This is found much on few African countries.

4.2. How do you think mass advertising of gambling projects has a positive effect on the development of the forum or harms the community?

Almost every gambling site promotion through the forum is functioning with legitimacy. Gambling section isn't making any issues with the forum. There are users who keeps notifying about scam gambling sites, so everything is healthy with the forum.

4.3. How do you consider whether 2-3 years of experience in cryptocurrency is enough to successfully invest or does an investor need to receive special education?

Experience makes Pro bitcoiners than formal courses that has got syllabus related to bitcoin and cryptocurrencies.

5. What do you think of the current Merit system and signature campaigns?  Do they harm the forum?

This system is a must for the forum, but campaigns hiring based on the merit into signature campaigns isn't fair. Yahoo is an exception and I like the way he picks.

6. The most useful forum topic? Most helpful users?

Beginners and help and Bitcoin Discussion section gives detailed information on each and everything associated with bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies.

7. 3 things you would implement on the forum?

Equality.
Limitations on Regional section merits.
Consideration on removal of feedbacks, I've been trying to get a feedback to be removed. All my tries have been wasted.

8. Do you trade on exchanges or invest in projects?

I prefer trading, and investing is done very rarely because I wasn't that technically skilled to predict the right assets for investment.

9. Tell a story about your big profit or big loss?

Big profit happened out of gambling, and greed of winning big in a single day made me loss everything that I earned as well as won out of gambling.

10. What do you think about the DEFI ecosystem?

Promotion of project and investment opportunity is created through DEFI. Once ICO/IEO had a big role and expectations. Now things have got moved towards DEFI, and these days the opportunity to earn tokens have decreased. People are supposed to invest on DEFI, because very few distribute as bounties.

11. Is your anonymity a vital necessity or precaution?

Yes, anonymity is much important until the governments start supporting the usage of cryptocurrencies.

12. The last cryptocurrency book you read?

I read articles posted on different news portals. Reading our forum is more than enough than going through a book for cryptocurrencies.

13. Advise 3 cryptocurrencies/tokens for investment in the next 1-2 years?

Bitcoin, ethereum, XRP were common. Apart from them I believe uniswap, Binance coin and cardano.

14. How much will Bitcoin cost at the end of 2020?

Maybe around $15k - $17k. Right now the price is close to $13k which is quite good in this year of complete economic collapse on most countries.

15. P.S. (Optional)

Learn continuously, success will be yours. Don't underestimate/get into discussion about the negative things of bitcoin. Always spread the positive things about bitcoin, and this has the ability to create changes is common man's life. Try as much possible to implement/accept bitcoin into your Businesses (if you're a business man).

Thanks for the opportunity and good about the effort @zasad. I'm surprised to see the way you've earned merits. I would be happy if you support one of my thread Minable Cryptocurrencies and Algorithms
3983  Economy / Economics / Re: Government slowly open the economy, will it make the pandemic worst? on: October 19, 2020, 09:30:31 PM
After it is proven that the government cannot continuously meet the daily needs of its residents, and also not all residents can
get assistance from the government. Because of that, there is no other way for the government to have the courage to make
decisions, to slowly open the economy. Although on the other hand it will definitely make the pandemic worse.

Indeed, the decision to open the economy is the fastest way to restore the economy, so that people can immediately get a job.
Maybe the solution is so that the spread of the corona virus does not spread quickly, there can be strict health protocols applied,
if someone violates it must be given sanctions so that people want to obey the rules.
Lack of perfect planning is found with every government. One of few countable number of governments were performing with better understanding, and the upcoming situation of bitcoin. However the failure with the governments were not providing subsidiaries and other life essentials during the very strong spreading period.

Anyhow the world hasn't completely succeeded fighting covid-19, but situation is getting better with time. Governments doesn't have reserve, but if the entire corrupt leaders list is prepared large volume of government funds can be recovered and used for the true sufferings.
3984  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Curio hit 5$ in near future? on: October 19, 2020, 08:01:59 PM
More number of projects have come to the usage of people related to car. Very few number of projects have provided with a big growth through this project. What I experience with the new platform is the ease of access. $5 is a possible value, I wasn't able to predict the true changes and it isn't that big as normal.
3985  Economy / Speculation / Re: I will not sell under 20.000$ ! Why you do ? on: October 19, 2020, 04:51:24 PM
Whomever you ask about bitcoin, it can be person who have known well about bitcoin or it can be a person who has got some basic understanding about bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. The answer will be, it is highly risky. This term gets used much because of its market fluctuation making deep rise/fall in value in no time.

I personally experienced a massive loss during the previous bull market when the useless projects too peaked in value. Myself kept a target and kept hold and the market crashed which made all my holdings wasted. So rather than moving with target it is a good choice to move decision along with the market change.
3986  Economy / Economics / Re: Which is better, staking or investing? on: October 19, 2020, 06:13:10 AM
With staking one get to make a passive income holding the required volume of cryptocurrency. This is an effective way of earning, but one needs to know to hold the right coin. More number of cryptocurrencies have moved to the staking process to strengthen the network.

With investment the profit expectancy is long term. If lucky even the asset over which we've made the investment could bounce much higher yielding a massive profit. We can't state anything better over the other. Everything is market dependent to the demand supply and the study on choosing the right cryptocurrency.
3987  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Loan to buy Bitcoin? on: October 19, 2020, 01:24:19 AM
This thread about the market price has been created during the starting days of October 2020. By the time the price of bitcoin was close around $11000. We can just make a calculation on the same. Let's assume OP has got a loan for 10% interest  which isn't available with most of the banks. For a loan amount of $22000 he needs to pay regular EMI of around  $710 per month. End of three years time he'll be paying around $3500 as interest.

Within the three years of time we can experience better growth with bitcoin for sure. Even a $1750 growth will make him own two bitcoin without debt end of three years. For me it looks like a good choice with some risk without which profit making out of cryptocurrency is hard.
3988  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin used for illegal activities on telegram on: October 18, 2020, 01:34:29 PM
Through the same telegram illegal stuffs and more other things can be bought for fiat. Why people don't make it a news ? We need to understand this is also a way of manipulating the market and creating negativity upon bitcoin. Whether it is bitcoin or something else, people use it for the good and bad.

Most of the time the negative part gets revealed and in rare occasion the good about bitcoin gets revealed. Just reporting it to the authority nothing is gonna change unless the person involved realise the need of bitcoin for good.
3989  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do hackers steal huge amounts of bitcoins? on: October 17, 2020, 11:31:35 PM
Everyone is eager of making money. Hackers are one step above, because all that necessary is the celebration. When a hacker successfully hacks and stole some data or some data he'll be with heavenly feeling. Based on my knowledge about hackers, they just focus on large volume of fund hacks to show their potential.

Hackers are highly passionate towards it, and go to any extent as they know how to stay anonymous. We may say it is possible to have track of the person, but this isn't happening with every hacker. One in ten gets tracked while the rest stay safe.
3990  Economy / Exchanges / Re: localbitcoins is still exisiting im surprised on: October 17, 2020, 06:50:16 PM
We've got more and more number of trusted P2P Exchanges, but localbitcoins have kept its reputation strong in the market. For the strict KYC people started to avoid using localbitcoins. Even now it is the one contributing large volume of cryptocurrency to cash trading. There'll be difference in the price of bitcoin, compared to other exchanges, but due to its accessibility and different traders giving more transaction option makes people go for it.
3991  Economy / Economics / Re: Coronavirus is very harmful to fiat currencies, not bitcoin on: October 17, 2020, 04:40:35 PM
Fiat currency flow got affected due to the pandemic. This is a temporary issue, and to increase the circulation of fiat currencies governments have made several plans. Fiat market is much associated with the economic conditions of a country. In specific when the production is affected automatically the impact can be  experienced over money flow.

In my locality during the pandemic most of people out of cash started to cultivate their own food for survival. This is the situation prevailing around the globe, coronavirus is not harmful to anything specific. It has made good changes in human beings as well as made economic crash on the other side.
3992  Economy / Speculation / Re: What will happen next if the resistance breaks? on: October 16, 2020, 11:59:42 PM
As usual we might as well see some ups and downs if it's going to touch the $11k just like how it did last month. On the other hand, Trump's tweet seems like a little connected to the market so, this is just one of the factors that could affect the price of Bitcoin. Corona virus is just a given reason if someone wants to make a move to the market although it didn't actually make any effect on the market but with the influencers getting COVID is just a downer.

Looks like the weekend is being really kind so far. Trump's comments dropped a few hundred dollars off the BTC price but the Square/Jack Dorsey news and comments seemed to have not only recovered that but pushed BTC way up above 11k right now. Think people are hoping we see 13k by end of month for a serious Christmas price;)
Every time the price will be dragged forward based on the speculation with Christmas Eve, and there'll be rise in the price. This happens as a result of most people selling their holdings to spend on the vacation. This time the US election and the Christmas is so close between months. Possibly a better outcome from the election result will cause a positive growth, and the same continues with the Christmas year end price move. A positive statement about bitcoin from the winning candidate once after the result will be big blessing for the year 2020.
3993  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Will UNISWAP become a centralized exchange? on: October 16, 2020, 11:14:33 PM
For large volume swaps the fee looks like a huge one, and the team has already mentioned about their further development and taking the fee down to 0.005% which is quite good in my opinion. Just on the fee we can't come to a conclusion that uniswap is going to be centralized in the future.

The way uniswap exchange is being developed has made it reach high compared to most other DEX available for trading. Hope the decentralized network with lower swapping fee will be the future of uniswap than going centralized.
3994  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔥Sportbook and Casino: BITSLER > $10,000 DAILY Wagering contest < on: October 16, 2020, 10:17:36 PM
Even if Bitsler has all features on the sportsbook, it does not mean that they will have many players.
On the contrary, having less feature does not mean that Bitsler will have few players only.
Bitsler has a lot of users of them almost no people are playing sports. Only few people might have tried. As you know when people see less feature or not player friendly then they will not use that. Also only few people may re-visit. People try to play on such site which is player friendly. They have only few players on sportsbook that's why maximum game do not come in play from start soon.
I don't find anything different from other sportsbook. When we make a comparison with other sportsbook landing page, it is almost the same. Bitsler looks completely user friendly, I don't know how a page should look and what are the other features required to be added. For a gambler the odds are available which is almost similar with other sportsbook. It also got almost every sporting event added to it.
3995  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Best Bitcoin Banks of 2020 on: October 16, 2020, 04:53:25 PM
Often used to see on some articles that bitcoin is accepted by specific bank, further we never get any information regarding the same. This way till date several banks have started to accept and store bitcoin. Same time more banks have restricted and stopped services for bitcoin associated businesses. As of now we can't make any conclusion on the list of banks working with bitcoin and the best from that list.
3996  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are you a high roller? on: October 15, 2020, 05:23:10 PM
Once I was a high roller, and used to spend upto 0.1 btc per roll. Most of the time maximum roll value happens with martingale strategy. I encountered a massive loss out of gambling and the same has made me go low on rolls. Right now the maximum bet value doesn't exceed $10.

Today read about a person winning from chips.gg having a bet value of $400, and a misclick getting him a winning amount of $19800 on Dice. Maybe some day I need to be such a high roller with high percentage of luck.
3997  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why don't you stop rushing to promote bounty from a scammed bounty manager on: October 15, 2020, 11:13:33 AM
I've seen Bounty Managers paying from their own pocket to keep their reputation strong in the forum. Bounty Managers have their own way of analysing the potential and the team behind the project. Something happens in between, and the same makes the project turn to be a scam. This is where Bounty Managers suffer and gets bad image. Maybe there are people who does it with intention, but most trusted Bounty Managers won't get into such scam approaches.
3998  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hardware Cryptowallet with Fingerprint Authorization on: October 15, 2020, 07:05:30 AM
I completely get that these sort of "cool features" are nice, I think it's really a bit too much and a bit too unnecessary. For a smartphone that I pretty much use everyday and I have on my hand a lot of times? Makes complete sense. For a hardware wallet that has my funds that I mostly just hold and just transact from time to time? A bit unnecessary. A cheap small Ledger Nano S or Trezor One is enough for me.
I think the point here is that this hardware wallet is not designed for hodling, it is designed for convinient shitcoin trading, stacking, yield farming, you name it. Gate.io, an exchange that launched this wallet, is not interested in their users holding something. Gate.io is interested in their users trading ten thousands of shitcoins (luckely the cool hardware wallet supports all of them) and paying commissions to exchange. That is why they embedded the fingerprint recognition technology into their wallet, such hardware wallet is to be used on everyday basis, like a smartphone.
We don't know to what extent this hardware wallet is secure. Gate.io might have got different plans of developing such a hardware wallet, but the fingerprint access will surely help with the heir if something happens in between. As the synchronisation also requires the fingerprint recognition it isn't easy for someone to take control of the funds.
3999  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Russia blocks localbitcoins on: October 15, 2020, 05:23:45 AM
The telecommunication authority of Russia Roskomnadzor earlier blocked Binance into Russia and added it to the blacklist database. Later the restriction is resolved. Now it has blocked the access to localbitcoins, and people find a way accessing with VPN. Russia is the leading country for the P2P Exchange operation contributing around 20% of the trading.

Russia being one among the supportive country for cryptocurrency have stated bitcoin usage as payment is illegal while people are free to buy and sell which is the reason for the increased trading on Russia through localbitcoins than other countries.
4000  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who said that ICOs are dead? on: October 14, 2020, 11:49:41 PM
The cryptomarket is refreshing now and then to function flawless. This happens as a result of development, and increase in the usage. Based on this we've been experiencing continuous changes in the market. We had ICO's in the very beginning days, and later it turned to be IEOs and now it is all about DEFI and few more.

Everything will be active, but the transition makes people to discuss and participate on the most recent ones than the one that served to be the base. Upon this one can have a clear picture of ICO still alive in the market.
