Although I think that there should be bitcoin specific rules, which are essentially the consensus rules, like "There will never be more than 21 million bitcoins." I guess people just have to understand some of the foundations of how bitcoin and most other crypto work.

I saw a sad news story the other day. I am paraphrasing, it's easy to find. Some relatively young guy (30's) was celebrating loudly because he became a millionaire (on paper) with Doge. He had invested his life's savings (hundred-something K USD).

There can be two reasons. 1) All altcoins are following Bitcoin so ethereum is also following Bitcoin 2) Ethereum has been updating their software and adding new things and planing for Ethereum V2. I agree with your that Ethereum Network will be upgraded soon that should bring down the Transaction fee to reasonable level. Ethereum has been passing through scalability issue since long time and that is the major cause of Huge transaction fee because network fails to handle large number of transactions due to its lower speed of Transactions. Now, hopefully, this issue will be resolved with the implementation of Ethereum 2.0. The 2nd reason which i think is the major one, The BTC Dominance Index has come down to around 48% which is triggering Rally in all over Alts sector. .  |

You would do better analysis if you didn't fall into the trap of letting a third party tell you what a 2nd party thinks. That would rule out pretty much anything based on research, most books, articles etc. There are plenty of errors in a lot of research, books, articles, etc. Some of it prima-facie as is the case here, and leading to a bunch of assertions built on top of an obviously incorrect assumption. Ergo, a waste of the author's time and everyone elses'. In India right now, people are dying on the streets because their government wasn't able to get a vaccine program rolled out on the national level. We know what covid looks like when it's out of control and no vaccine, in fact, every first world country has documented the consequences very well. If the research is wrong, so be it. Something has to be killing all these people. What else would it be? With all my sympathies with the people of India who are passing through very difficult time of Indian history, I would dare to comment that India is too big to be ruled by an illiterate person like Modi. His priority was not to vaccinate the people but go for provincial elections and hold huge rallies. During Rallies in India means inviting covid-19 to spread all over because it is very difficult to implement social distancing and force everybody to wear Masks. The priority of BJP government is not to kill poverty and improve quality of life but to divide society in multiple segments on the basis of religion and cast and win the elections. |
